Ed leaned against a wall, breathing heavily. He grunted from the immense pain he felt in his chest. He felt like he was about to pass out again, but he coninued to press forward.
"Sorry, no can do." Ed jumped out of the bed, and almost fell down. It hurts when i breath... i must've broken some ribs... he though, as he winced from the pain. He headed for the door. I gotta find that guy and get the stone back...
"Oh...." He replied. He tried to sit up, Grunting from the pain as he did.
"Huh...?" Ed woke up. "Hey.... what's going on....?"
Ed started to snore loudly, still clutching his chest.
"I..." Ed coughed out before he fell unconcious, still grabbing his chest.
Ed fell to his knees as he glutched the gaping wound in his chest. He coughed up blood and fell to the ground. "The stone..." He started to drag himself towards the school.
"My heart..... Is staying right here!" Ed reached into his pocket and pulled out the Stone, which was shining brilliantly. A birght ray of light shot from the stone, strong enough to drive away any darkness. "Back to Hell with you!" He yelled as he shoved the stone into the man's chest.
Ed crawled out onto the riverside coughing. He laid on his back and looked at the sky. "Man, that was close..."
Ed rolled, and barely dodged the blast. "I bid you adieu!" He said as he jumped into the river, and let the current take him downstream.
"I.... Guess... you.... didn't hear me....." Ed choked out in between gasps. He clapped his hands and lightly touched the ground, and dozens of Spires shot out of the ground at the armored figure.
Ed countered with his metal arm. "Go play somewhere else, your problems are none of my concern..." He jumped back and picked up his rod, and twirled it around a bit.
"What's with the sword?" Ed asked, in an un-concerned sort of manner.
Ed turned his head and looked at him. He gave him a blank stare. "You lost or something?" He asked.
