Ed kept running full speed throughout the hallways, bumping into people and even walls. He kept running around the whole campus in circles, completely lost and having no idea where the office was. "Damnit I hate this place! It's too freaking big!" he said as he flopped down against a wall from exhaustion.
"I guess I'm on my own again..." Ed said to himself. Just then his eyes widened, as if he just had a brilliant idea. He immediantly took off towards the office at full speed, not really watching where he was going, since the hood blocked most of his sight.
Ed turned and started to walk back inside the school, not caring much about being in disguise. he just pulled his hood over his hace as far as it would go. He opened the door, stopped, and turned to her. "Then I guess you and I are enemies." He said before giving a two finger salute, and closing the door.
"Well why would she need the necklace?" Ed asked, a curious look on his face. "Only alchemists can harness it's power." He said.
"So maybe you'd understand where I'm coming from. You don't seem like the type to give up, so you must know what it's like for me." He said crossing his arms.
Ed stood silent for a moment as he stared at the ground. Eventually he Picked up his head and looked at her. "If you had just one chance to undo your mistake, and it was as simple as grabbing a strangers necklace, wouldn't you do it?" Ed asked, with the look of serious and determination back in his eyes.
Ed ripped his sleeve off and shoved His metal arm infront of Yaten's face "You see this? this is why! My arm, leg, my brother's body, their all gone and it's all my fault!" He yelled as tears started to roll down his eyes. "If I can't get my Brother's body back, then I'll never forgive myself!" He said. ".... you don't know what it's like... having to live with this regret every day... seeing your brother trapped in that armor, and knowing that it's all your fault and theirs nothing you can do about it..." Ed said softly as he looked down at the ground.
"Say what you want, but if you're so willing to do whatever the princess says without a second thought, then you're no better than a simple, loyal, dog." He said. "Look, it's just a necklace. I could even make her a better one if You'd just give me the stone that's in it!" Ed suggested.
"You're all the same, you dogs live for noone but the royalty, not even yourselves!" He yelled. "Nothing will stand in the way of my dream, not even a dog on a leash like you." He paused for a bit and looked towards the sky. "I won't fight you Yaten, but I sure as hell won't just give up." Ed finally admitted.
"Geez look who's talking... Just stay out of the way, I only want the damn Necklace!" He paused. "And I don't care if you like it or not, I'm not gonna fight you." He said with a serious look on his face.
"Third huh..." Ed thought to himself. He brushed Yaten off, and ran to the wall. He crashed through the window and fell down towards the ground. "Seeya around Yaten!!" he yelled.
Ed sighed and look passed her. there was a wall only about 10 feet away. "...First.... can you tell me what floor we're on?" He asked. "I completely forgot..."
Ed just continued walking, and waved to Yaten without turning around. "See ya later." He said as he continued on. "...Fighting a girl just isn't my style..." Ed thought to himself.
Ed got up and walked away without saying a word. "I will get the stone." He said eventually as he stopped. He continued on, clenching his fists tighter than ever.
Ed turned around quickly and his eyes widened as he saw the flash of light.
"Stop getting in the way!" Ed yelled as he pushed Yaten off. He looked around quickly. "Damnit!" He shouted. He punched the ground hard with his metal hand.
Ed kicked Yaten hard in the stomach. He then clapped his hands and slammed the ground again. This time 2 walls appeared, preventing escape from any direction. "Please Yumiko!" He yelled out.
Ed tore the glove off his metal hand and grabbed Yaten's shirt. "It's the only way to get back what's mine!" He said.
"I Promise I won't hurt her, I just want the necklace!" He yelled.
Ed ran towards Yumiko. "I need that necklace!" He yelled as he ran.
