Vision's design revealed in the latest promotional poster;
I would think it's Absorbing Man due to his past with Matt's father, but I feel like that's too easy. I don't know, I keep expecting a curveball from superhero shows.
"Don't you dare think I have gone soft or whatnot. I can still hurt you." Karina replied. He hugged the taller girl around her legs and smiled his big smile. He knew all her more aggressive side was just how she got things done, but still valued her, and all her friends in their efforts. "Don't worry. I know your heart's in the right place!" he grinned. "Mickey...." Yen sid spoke impatiently. "Right! Fixing, sir!" He ran off, trying not to trip over his own robes to undo the damage in the other room, leaving Yen Sid alone with the keyblade wielders. The first thing he did, was reply to Glen's question regarding the stone spell. "It is a last resort and can only be undone by what is called, an 'Endgame...' Sorcerers use it to protect their secrets in the knowledge that some one of greater strength may want one of their possessions. It is a fail safe that cloaks the user in a veil of stone, cursing the caster to a permanent fate, lest his endgame be fulfilled." He noticed, he was beginning to lose some of them in the explanation, so he tried to simplify it. "In other worlds it is called a 'Focus' or 'Limit.' An objective, that must be completed for the spell to be undone." He looked at all of them and began picking up on the subtle hints as to who they were. "Though I see you surely are from another world or time, so I ask you... What is the endgame that this sorcerer wishes you to fulfill? What are you searching for?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MISSION COMPLETE Aden leveled up! (24) Luna leveled up! (25) The cartoon played in astonishing color, allowing the wielders to watch and finish the cartoon. At the ending frames, the color seemed to be fading away, as the black and white mickey, jumped out of the screen like it was a 3-D picture film, and landed smack dab on top of D'daear. "Hey! Why'd you go in there, if you were just gonna jump back out!... And what happened to all the color in the window?" He looked back to watch as the final bits of color was being removed from the "IN COLOR" subtitle for the cartoon short. Mickey jumped off D'daear and hopped frantically, pointing in panic at the window. "Huh?" Looking back, Hikaru saw that from out of the screen reached a pure black hand followed, by the rest of it's body. From head to toe, he was covered in a black sheet that covered all but his eyes. "Is... is that a heartless?" "False!" the shrouded figure spoke. "I am the Phantom Blot! And this world is beginning to become tainted by the unstable monstrosity of color!" He held up an orb that contained all the colors of a rainbow's spectrum. "Just look at it! This eyesore is the very burden that threatens this world. I keep trying to contain it, but it continues to fester like a virus!" "Why would you do that?" Hikaru asked. "This world is adapting and changing into something brand new. You're robbing the people of this world!" "New?!" he asked in offense. "This world is just fine as it is... 'New' means change, and whenever something new comes along, the old is discarded and treated like it never existed. I'm not robbing them you fool, I'm saving them!" Hikaru drew out his keyblade. "That doesn't seem very heroic to me!" "Insolence!" He cried out. "If you are unwilling to remain in the old world, then I shall be rid of you in the next!" As everyone prepared to battle, Mickey tugged at Hikaru's leg and handed him a new limit. All players received the "Get'Em" Limit! ~MISSION START!~
Yen sighed eyed them all with intrigue and a look of the utmost dissatisfaction. "While your efforts in defending my student are noble, only I, and I alone am aware of this spell. And I can only do such with the special ability I don onto an article of clothing." He turned his expression to mickey. "Such an ability that I encased on my own sorcerer's cap. Which I see young Mickey here has used for his own gain." Mickey looked to the ground in shame for his own actions. "Your right master... It wasn't them. It was me. All me. I cast the spell of re-animation on the brooms so they would do the chores for me. When it got out of hand, I couldn't stop them, and it got even worse when they multiplied.... I read in your book that the spell could be removed by the spell gained from different worlds, and they've all been helping me gather the notes." He took off the hat and presented it to his master. "I'm sorry. And understand if you know longer want to teach me." Yen Sid stepped forward and looked straight down on his apprentice. "So you took it upon yourself to undo the wrong you've made?" Mickey nodded with sad eyes. The wizard closed his eyes and stroked his beard. "And their efforts have garnered you all the magic required to dispel the brooms?" Mickey nodded again. "Well... in favor of their contributions, you may go and reverse your doings." The small mouse looked up in confusion. "Huh?" As he took the hat from his pupil and placed it on his head, he began to explain "While your actions were irresponsible, your resourcefulness to repair the damage is reason enough to keep your position as an apprentice... As an apprentice, you will make mistakes Mickey. or this I am certain. But it's how you deal with your errors, that can define your path to master." "Oh! Does this mean... I can keep learning?!" Yen Sid nodded. "With the addition of chores to make up for your current blunder, yes." "Oh..." Mickey sighed. "But I thank you for the chance!" He lightened up and ran off to fix the mess. "Oh! May I say goodbye to my friends first?!" he insisted. Yen Sid nodded. Mickey smiled and ran back to the keybladers, and pulled out a small charm from his pockets. "I was saving this for later, but you've all helped me so much! You all worked together in such a way that made you that much stronger. I only hope I can be part of a team someday..." All players received the Counterpoint keyblade! MISSION COMPLETE! ------------------------------------------------------------- With most of the heartless dispersed, a singular airplane was left straggling around to try and attack the town again. It made a quick loop and was prepared to charge forward, but halted at the sight of the six keybladers with Mickey by the canon. No matter how it attacked, it knew it wasn't going to come out of this battle in one piece. But being the heartless creature that it was, went for it anyway, and aimed straight for the canon. Hikaru eyed it directly and pointed his keyblade tot he locked on target. Eying it as it flew closer and closer to the center of the town. As if he was going to let loose an offensive spell, he stood tall with his shoulders back and yelled out; "Fire!" And instead of letting loose a fire spell, swung his keyblade against the canon to active another cannonball to fire at the heartless. With a direct hit, it's heart released and the town, while a little bent out of shape, was intact. ~MISSION COMPLETE~ Cailyn - INCOMPLETE D'daear leveled up! (22) Rain leveled up (21) With the town safe and everyone in good spirits, he looked to the top of the canon. "Alright Mickey, now explain yourse- huh?" After realizing mickey had disappeared again, he searched around, "Where did he..." Beyond the small towns boundary, Mickey was seen pulling the curtain on the unlocked window with the bull on it, jumping into the window. "Hey! Get back here!" Hikaru gave chase, but was unable to catch the elusive mouse in time. He found that the title of the short film had revealed itself. "Mickey's Rival..." he read aloud. "In Color?" COLOR was written In bright, florescent colors that could clearly be spotted as neither black or white. "I thought this place didn't have any color? Why is this world different?"

Crown Modification - Check the stats page for new Crown Pricing! - Now affected by Base Stat instead of Level EXP Writer ability change - No longer counts during Bodyguard Missions
Hmm, expected this to be the "Benedict Cumberbatch made from chocolate" thread
I believe they made his voice that way in english and Japanese to show just how old and in need of a vessel he is. It's at least a nice change of pace from the youthful sounding voice actors. bless.
You're old AND got to live in a motel? I am scorn, but shall subtly display so in my congratulatory clap.
Did you ever wonder if that joke was... "Not so fresh?"
The man in the white cloak passed along the hovering note to Kaida. "You know what's important to you... And you know what's important to the denizens of the worlds you meet. Never lose sight of the importance one can have over the other." A shine of light began radiating from him as he stepped back. "Youre fighting for them, just as much as your own cause. Just look at the worlds you've seen... You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people- Those people. To make the dream a reality." The white light flashed, blinding everyone. ~MISSION COMPLETE!~ Beuce leveled up! (26) A new job is available! After the light dimmed, Mickey almost tripped over his own apprentice robe to greet the key wielders. "You're all back! I was so worried something had happened to yah!" He gazed down to see they had collected the last 2 pieces needed for the spell. "And you got the last pieces for the spell! That's great!" He walked back tot he spell book and placed the notes onto the page, causing it to glow a birght hue of yellow. Content with the results, he began to walk to the door. "Alright! Now we just gotta take this spell and use it on..." Before he could finish, his shoulders sunk low, at the tall master that stood in the door way. His back dropped down, and his whole body shrunk down in fear at the sight of Yen Sid in a most angry of moods. "Mickey... what is the meaning of this?..." The mouse gulped and tried to find the words. "Well uh, you see.. ehehe, thing is, uh... Oh boy..." He constantly stammered in an attempt to find the best way to explain the entire mess. ------------------------------- Hikaru's legs shook in his steady readiness to sprint at the sight that any of the planes would head in his direction. The distinct moment that one of the aeroplane's went in for an aerial dive, Hikaru took his keyblade and knocked up one of the wings, causing it to do a barrel roll and spring out of control. Usually at times like these, he would bring out Dumbo for some aerial support. But seeing as he had just called his little elephant friend, he thought he would d the more respectful thing and take them out with his own blade. The heartless he struck before had regained it's balance and was preparing to come back at Hikaru once more. This time holding it like a tennis racket, he held his keyblade and knocked the plane towards the canon, where Mickey was there to set off a cannonball to finish the job. 'Yes!' he slyly told himself. Looking back to fight some more, he accidentally stepped on one of the tiny miniature cars that lay on the road beneath him. "Oops..." he uttered. For his sake, as well as the area around him, he just hoped there were no tiny people in this tiny town. From the look of things however, they were the only ones making any noise in the seemingly dead town, so that was a slight load off his mind. Looking back, he noticed D'daear to be doing most of the work, while co-operating happily with Mickey. While he had only met him a world or two ago, D'daear had really stepped up in terms of a reliable ally. D'daear's friendship level with Hikaru went up by 2! 9/12 posts
Both Base and Beuce had questioned his reasons and appearance. "My presence here is just a unseen moment," The cloaked man replied. "Like all of you, I'm just another character in the background. Following a story onto it's end." He raised the notes to his eye level and parted them. "And whether be a promise or a symbol, a musical note is meant to be a part of something much greater. Just like all of you." He chuckled a bit at the symbolism it represented. "Naturally, a song can exist without it. And yet, even replaced or left out, a clear change in rhythm can be sighted." He looked straight to Kaida. "And what of you?... Is this just another mission for you to carry out? An attempt to keep the world order you've obstructed thus far? Or maybe it's all for a friend?..." His fingers twinged a bit under the weightlessness of the musical notes he held. "You aren't from here, and while you think you do good, you've selfishly added your own sheet music to change the composer's vision." His left hand shoved the red musical note to glide to the rest of the group. "That is for you efforts of expunging the darkness. You may have the second once I've heard her answer..." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- As D'daear pulled the next string, they were brought into a town that was shrunk to make them all seem like giants. Nothing two special since all the houses barely made it pas their knees... The one exception being the giant canon in the middle. And on the top stood a Mouse with puffed overall shorts and a giant smile as he waved to them. "Mickey!" Hikaru yelled. He turned to the other five. "Guess that's our mouse," he spoke. Turning back around he found the mouse in panic, waving his arms and trying to warn them through mimed expression. "Huh?" He couldn't figured out what the problem is until Mickey couldn't take the lack of communication. He stomped down on the canon and aimed it at Hikaru. "Hey!" Hikaru was within target of the canon. As Mickey let it fire, it avoided Hikaru by inches, managing to hit an airplane heartless that was flying behind them. As more heartless appeared, it became clear that Mickey was trying to ward them off. Before he could ask more questions, he thought it upon himself to make sure they took care of the threat before interrogating the mouse. He whipped out his keyblade and prepared himself. "When this is done we're having a nice little chat..." ~MISSION START!~
Perfect timing with the legend of zelda series coming to Netflix this year. Gonna enjoy those rad graphics.
Cailyn leveled up! (20) D'daear leveled up! (21) Hikaru leveled up! (26) ~MISSION COMPLETE!~ The hammerframes were gone and the building was just barely left standing. "Can't believe we managed to keep it up," Hikaru commented. "But it looks like Mickey still isn't here..." he sighed. "And what's worse, it seems heartless have found their way into the world through the ink portal... Looks like we'd better keep on our guard." At that moment, the toon mouse tip toed behind the party and stared into the camera. With a wink, he used his finger to signal a silent "Ssh" to the audience as to not give away his presence. He then laughed on mute into his hand and jumped back through the window. "So I guess that leaves one left!" Hikaru looked at the mystical window with the canon on it. "Anyone care to do the honors?"
Each respective group took their post and began their patrol.... SOUTH SIDE Ananta had been partnered with Pluto and was not very pleased from it. Pluto eyed the crystal with great displeasure. He was not very fond of jewelery and gave very noticeable impressions to signal so. Before he could do anything to annoy and pester her, he heard a shrill shriek from Princess Minnie, followed by a large punching sound. "Bark Bark!" Pluto alarmed, as he ran to the Princess' foyer to inspect. Ananta was blocked off immediately from a group of lance soldier heartless, preventing her from following. EAST SIDE "Yeah!" Donald aswered Steels remark. "Bad guys always go for the tougher looking one!" His cowardly reason was followed by the fact that it was a man with a keyblade or a duck. Of course, Donald also neglected to acknowledge that he was partnered with the quickest of the five key bearers and if it came down to running away; Steel would win. As Steel stood strong, Donald waddled around with caution before hearing a faint 'psst' signalling that some one was whispering to him. "Huh?" Donald turned to find the smallest of the beagle boys across the way. "OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!" He yelled frantically. Donald hopped and ran away crying; "WHAAAAAAAAAAKKK!!!" The beagle boy snickered and snapped his fingers to summon heartless to deal with Steel. "Finish le boy, but ze ducky is mine! Hehe!" He then chased off after Donald and left Steel alone. WEST SIDE After Kel had mentioned the sword in the stone, Goofy had been trying to recall just why that scenario seemed so familliar. "Gee, I just can't put ma finger on it! I know that sounds like something I've seen before but I just don't know wheres!... Maybe if-" Hard tapping footsteps were heard just around the corridor of the western walls, catching Goofy's attention. "Huh?.. Halt! Bad guys!" Without consulting Kel, he zoomed past and rounded the corner to try and find the source of the footsteps, leaving the wielder in his dust. Before he could follow, a group of heartless appeared, surrounding him and preventing and chance of follow until they were rid of. NORTH SIDE Kross and Raisor had little to no interaction once they had gotten back from the high tower. They were the only duo of keybladers and not partnered with any of the worldly denizens to aid them. While they hadn't said a word to each other, they were nary given the chance once a swarm of heartless appeared to test their strength! ~MISSION START!~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Glen leveled up! (25) Kaida leveled up! (23) Stratos leveled up! (24) With the demons finally silenced, a glowing light emerged from the city below, as lanterns lit the way against a fog from the dawn of sunrise. "The living glory of our nights, of our nights and days. The prince of peace your arms embrace, while hosts of darkness fade and cower. Oh save us, mother full of grace, in life, and in our dying hour," a soft, but kind voice spoke. From the pathway to the mountaintop, a man in a white hooded coat emerged from the rocks that hid him to appear in front of the group. "A simple wonder what music inspires to such a vision... Beautiful in it's own way." He reached into hit coat pocket and held out both his gloved hands with the last two musical notes the group needed. "How the combination of various sounds can tell a story... Just like a book." He looked across the group and looked at each one carefully through his hood. "But I do wonder why you decide to take part in this story." He lifted both hands which held both blue, and red quarter notes. "Are these really that important to you?" ~MISSION START!~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hikaru continued to wail around the hammerframe for a few more instances of defeating heartless with their own brethren before the hammer he was swinging could take no more, after three more were defeated, the hammerframe in his hands faded from two much damage, releasing it's heart. Hikaru however, was still spinning and spinning before trying to stop his heels to better align himself. "Whoa! Whoa!" He held his arms out to find balance after his spinning decreased to find his vision was impaired with sights of seeing double. "Oh come on, don't tell me more showed up!" He whined, before his vision was slowly returning to normal. "Oh, that's better, heh!" Summoning his keyblade, he shook off any remaining feeling of a dazed head and ran straight back into the action! Noting a few more damaging the lines that held the platform up, he took his blade and slashed forward against one of the frames before locking onto to another and slashing against it also. While these were only singular hits, he only did so to get their attention to follow him. "That's right, follow the leader!" he called out. He slashed two more once before leading them all to the center of the platform he stood on. With each one following, they smashed their circular faces against the ground to try and get a fix on Hikaru. While he wasn't fast, he had a good amount of height in his jumps which allowed him to narrowly avoid most of the smashing caused by the hammer heartless. Once four were within his range and his keyblading party was no longer within friendly fire range, Hikaru lifted his blade high into the air and pointed it at the sky. "Faith!" he cried out. With that call, pillars of light descended onto the hammerframes, ironically smashing them with the power of pure light, bringing Hikaru's total count to eight for that maneuver. Nice to see a bit more of a conflict at work. Seeing the more negative emotions taking hold of Riley will make for some more interesting scenarios. Heck, all of them trying to get a good fix on her mind makes for interesting scenarios. Let's say one of the situations on her first day is spotting a cute boy she develops a crush on. Said boy spots her and walks over. Stuff just writes itself.
All demons had been expunged and still no sign of exit was in sight for the keyblade wielders. Just as all seemed calm, the mountain shook with great force. Small rocks around them were vibrating about as a crater slowly opened in front of the group. Whatever the demons had planned to summon was incomplete, but that didn't mean there was not enough satanic power to at least summon something less powerful! From the depths of the crater emerged two phantoms that shot out of the hole like rockets, circling around the group with such haunting sounds. The two of them stood at opposite ends of the party, not allowing them to escape until they were both defeated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before he knew what to do, all the heartless that appeared had mostly been defeated by the efforts of D'daear, Luna and Aden. He felt very sore that they were made to do all the work before he could act on his fighting instinct. "Well, that should definitely good practice at least. Feel really bad that you did most of the work..." he mentioned. As thankful as he was that the heartless were all taken care of, part of him felt a little useless. In the beginning of this grand adventure, he would always feel a need to take charge and lead them through the strange and bewildering worlds. Now it had become second nature to them which made him feel a bit lost in his identity. Like a father whose children were growing up so fast. He was proud for sure, but it didn't really make him feel needed anymore. In the midst of his thoughts, The hammer heads returned in the same numbers, whacking away at the scaffolding building. Hikaru lit up at the chance to redeem himself for the lack of action before. It was a little bit of a guilty feeling for the excitement of more appearing heartless, but any chance to jump at the opportunity to fight for people was something he would look forward to. "Now... Now I'll cover you guys!" he shouted, preparing himself. Without even the use of his keyblade, he grabbed a hammer headed heartless by both of it's tiny legs and tripped it flat onto it's face. The impact of the hammer caused the platform they were on to shake a bit. Pulling it's face back along the ground, Hikaru used his arms to drag him around as he began to slowly make a twisting motion. It took him a few seconds to really get going, but he had managed to turn the heartless into his own personal weapon as he was now a spinning tornado of swinging fury. It was difficult to try and keep his balance in avoiding hitting any of his friends, but the method was proving effective as he was mowing away at any of the heartless that went near him. "I... think... it's... working...." Each word was spaced out since he was talking while trying to keep his grip on the heartless. With any luck, he could just fight them off with this method. He proceeded to spin around like a spinning top of doom in anticipation for any more to go near him. He had already knocked down eight, with more on the way... Nice to see that little Vision teaser. And I'm liking that they gave Black Widow some kind of super suit. Never before have we seen an athletic, odd defying red head infused with a synthetic tron-like suit before. At least not one in black.
~MISSION COMPLETE~ Mickey and company took the carriage safely back to the opera house in time to return Princess Minnie to her affairs. With Goofy on the reigns, and Donald and Mickey at the rear, the rest of the keybladers were made to walk, but to stick together so a repeat of last time would least likely happen. "Alright princess, we made it back in time for the show!" Goofy gleefully announced, tipping his hat. Mickey was the first to hop off and open the door for her esteemed royal highness. "Here you are princess! We're sorry we got you kidnapped... and caged... and almost locked away forever..." Donald admitted. "Well, the important thing is you did your duty. Your country thanks you all very much!" Minnie thanked. "You are all very brave." As she exited the carriage being escorted out by Goofy, a skinny, golden yellow dog came running along and barked happily at the sight of Mickey. "Pluto! D'aww, did you wait here for us all this time?" Pluto barked back before licking his face. "Aww, thata boy! This is my dog Pluto! I don't think you've all met yet!" Pluto barked and ran around, sniffing to get a better idea of who they were. He stopped when he got to Ananta and growled viciously. "Pluto! They helped us out! So be nice." He stopped growling and nodded, but kept a watchful eye on the girl. "Hehe, maybe you just smell funny to him?" Donald suggested. "Well, now that the princess is back, we can get back to our royal duty. Cap'n Pete said we should keep watch when the Opera is goin' on!" "Great memory Goofy! Guess that means the eight of us can split up and-" "Bark! Bark!" "Hehe, right. The NINE of us can split up and take a hall. But first we've got to deliver the Princess to Pete..." Minnie stepped close to Mickey and blushed. "I was hoping if maybe... you and I could... walk to him together. Just the two of us..." "Ohh.. Umm... As you wish princess!" Mickey replied, saluting her. He tried his best to remain professional, when in reality, he was quite flustered. As per Minnie's request, the two walked into the opera hall with the eight remaining left to decide. "Hmmm, well it seems Pluto's really attached to Anant'er over there, so I guess they'll take the South side!" Goofy decided as Pluto growled heavily at her. "Aww, he really likes you! Who will you patrol with Donald?" The Duck looked across the four other musketeers, and locked onto Steel. "Steel looks dangerous- I mean a good partner!" While he was just looking for the person who could keep him most safe, something about Steel seemed familiar to him... "Alrighty, Guess I'll go with Kel to the East, and Kross and Raisor can take the North!" Everyone had a partner and were free to patrol the grounds for any bad guys whilst Mickey escorted the Princess back to Pete. "You sure I don't know you from somwheres?" Goofy asked to Kel. North Side > Kross and Raisor West Side > Donald and Steel East Side > Goofy and Kel South Side > Ananta and Pluto ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ~MISSION COMPLETE~ Base leveled up! (24) Karina leveled up! (26) A bright light shined as the fifth musical note was received. To their surprise, the group was not brought back to the castle, but to a dark mountain that overlooked a small village below. "Fellas.. are you there?" Mickey's voice called out. "Where'd ya go? The light was supposed to bring you back, but it looks like a stronger force brought you to a different world!" Mickey flipped the pages back at the tower and scratched his head. "I.. don't see anything like it in the book. But be careful everyone. I don't like the looks of this place." Surrounding the bald mountains, were dancing and crawling demons of three different varieties; Imp demons, which were the smallest with pitchforks, Horned demons, which were human sized with wings, and Brute demons, which towered over 6 feet, with broad back and heavy fists. Whatever they were doing seemed like a ritual to bring something to life. They were also terrorizing everything and anything that went near them. This world was different from the others, and there was something very unsettling about this world... Something... Dark. ~MISSION START!~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~MISSION COMPLETE!~ Rain leveled up! (20) As Joceline pulled the next string, the six keyblade wielders were transported to a scaffolding building where hammer head heartless were knocking down the structure of the entire building! Luckily no one was actually inside, but the structure was falling with every smash of their hammering heads. "Heartless? Here!" Hikaru cried out. The skeletons they fought before seemed like they came from this world, but these were definitely heartless. "They're gonna knock the whole thing down! We've gotta stop them before they get the chance!" ~MISSION START!~
