As expected the armor would not be easy to cut through, but regardless it had a weakness. Everything did and it just came down to finding and exploiting said weakness. He stood himself up having been knocked back and attack again with a thrusting motion at for his back. When the blade had connected the first time, time was frozen to allow Vallus to strike the exact same spot three more times before moving back. His opponent used earth so distance wouldn't be much of a factor in his defenses. Perhaps there would be a way to use that against Charlie though.
The surprises kept coming as once they were on the other side as Auburn had started to shrink beyond her normal size to the point in which she was practically hidden in the grass in front of them. They needed to find her before they carried on with the quest and Lazuli scanned around the ground to find something moving but wasn't a bug. Three times, in fact, he'd thought he'd seen her, two of which actually were bugs and one was Auburn. "So.." He'd crouched down and looked at her hiding behind the rock. "You want a lift or something?" He had no answer yet but lowered his hand to in case she did accept his offer.
While luck was more his side, the same could not have been said for Aislinn who was taking quite the beating. He wouldn't be able to do much, but Luna should be able to. Once Raelyn had been stabilized to her feet, he found it odd that she had avoided looking at him. Was she upset with him as it was his suggestion to give her the crystal for her, though she didn't seem like the kind of person to silently avoid someone cause of something like that. Either way, he decided to give her some space for the time being which was fitting for Dot and Rex had taken off running - or flying in Dot's case- in the distance. Gale was surprised between both the fact that Rex had run off that fast and that they weren't given much of a heads up regarding it. "Well, you did want to keep moving." A light chuckle followed the light attempt at humor before he too joined the others in their run. It took a couple of steps for him to notice, but he was running faster than he thought he would. Chrono had been planning to just sit down and eat breakfast, but the ongoing argument between Take and Boreas had put a dent in that plan. He found himself glancing over towards the two in between each bite he had taken of the food, seemingly expecting things to escalate further from when Boreas had slammed his fist against the table. Between that and the conversation, if one could call it that, between his sister and Torrin it was a wonder that he was even managing to eat anything. The latter was definitely less worrying, there was still the matter of him not knowing when or if he should jump in to try and help. As it was her first attempt, the very least he could do is let her try on her own. No matter how awkward it seemed. "Sure, I'll take some." This had been said moments before Boreas stormed outside after challenging Take. He glanced down at the hot chocolate that was left, then looked to Torrin. "Aren't you going to stop him?"

Right as the horseman had chosen him as the target for his attack, Kel had managed to react as to mitigate some of the damage dealt with him. With no choice but to run after Ratcliffe and his men, they arrived at the meeting place in which war continued to rear its ugly head. It was at the stage were words appeared to be lost of the two groups, they would only listen to action. Then the horseman himself made an appearance, indeed not having a head. Silver wasn't sure at what point it had happened, but he'd started to tune out everything Lingo was saying to him. It'd gotten to the point where it was just his lips moving at an unreasonably fast pace for a human. Figures that this would be one of the people who directly tried speaking with him. Now despite sitting down someone had actually managed to bump into him. A comparative slight annoyance all things considered, but he was momentarily thrown off by the girl's quick apologies. Silver then lifted his head up and rested it in the palm of his hand. "It's fine." There had been a pause between Lingo's speaking and that had ironically been what caught his attention the most. "Silver, that's my name." Said in a matter of fact tone before falling back to silence. His eyes drifted back over to the fight that was still being egged on despite nothing having happened for a bit.
With a nod Chrono had stood up and moved towards the door, he'd tried not to think about it too much lest add it to the list of things running about in his head, but her lack of food was had always been a concern. The smell of breakfast being faint but still made it through the closed door, which could help with that. "Yeah, smells like it is." The smell had become stronger when Chrono opened the door, further emphasizing the point. Returning to the living room to the egg breakfast that had been set up for them. He hadn't been expecting to see so many eggs, but still not complaining about it. He merely went about fixing his food and finding himself a place to sit to eat.

Seeing as they had just gotten back to a good standing and it would seriously suck for this to get ruined cause she was forcing herself for his sake. He didn't think that the next she would ask him was to help facilitate interaction between herself and Torin. he understood why however and nodded. "Sure, shouldn't be too hard if we can just get you both talking." At the very least, it would be a start.
While admittedly even if the dark aura hadn't been around Ratcliffe, Kel didn't doubt a possibility of him trying to attack the natives regardless. Though the aura did allow for a possibility for that to no be the case. "Going to war isn't going to solve anything, especially not with what's going on the Native's side." Zephyr hadn't said anything when Midarah alone had been called back into the room. He could guess why it was the case but said nothing to about it. Nor did he speak to Gavin or Thea while they waited. The minutes indeed seemed to drag on until Midarah had returned with good news. The house arrest aside Izra would be coming back with them at least and that was good. Same with Maliel and the others. Long as they weren't being left directly in the care of the Council. The sight of Izra though was a different matter. She clearly had treated as a criminal and all for upholding the 'justice' the council believe in. None of it sat well with Zephyr, not at all. It made the fact that she was coming back with them all the better. A simple nod was what he offered to Gavin in response to Thea being happy before he too approached Izra. "We should probably get you some rest first when we get back."
Kel had given Luna a look that was a mixture of surprise and confusion. It sounded like she's seen this horseman before. "You think he's after Pocahontas as well?" It made sense and certainly fit with how Luna was reacting. If so, taking into account that Pocahontas is a Princess of Heart, then they needed to do something about that as well. Stopping a war and hunting down a horseman, so much to do in so little time. It didn't impede on their current destination, in fact, they could come across the horseman while on their way.
Having been given no answer to his question, Gale was left to assume that it was possible for them to use each others element as a form of transportation. He didn't have much of a response to Raelyn's remark about them being boring and instead managed to force out a chuckle. An awkward one, but a chuckle regardless of how one chose to look at it. Lasting no more than a few seconds, it had ended and it was back to keeping an eye out for those memory shards. After a bit of more walking and questions, the first memory shard had been found. "Why not give it to Raelyn." Gale suggested. She had been one of the more vocal ones who wanted their memories back and while he was still curious about his own past, the lack of urgency on his part made it feel wrong to take this chance from someone else right off the bat.
