The name quickly stuck in Chrono mind as did the fact that Torrin's group had been the ones to fight him first, which filled in the pieces of the grudge he had. Though was had surprised Chrono, even more, was the mentioning of Dentro. "Wait, Dentro, the one who'd fallen into that ravine of darkness?" The scene had suddenly replayed itself before him. He'd become a heartless? Chrono did not like the guy, like not at all, but it wasn't like he wanted that to happen to him. The comparison to the black creatures of varying sizes, they've been fighting this whole time? A part of Chrono found that hard to believe but remembering what had happened to Scroop before the possibility became a lot more believable to him. With some strength coming back to him, Chrono adjusted himself to sit upright and while still be able to barely feel his legs. The Dentro thing was, on the one hand, good to know, but at the same time concerning. Could something like that have happened to them if they didn't have on the coats while they were surrounded by all that darkness? It wasn't a pleasant thought to think about.
Let it be known before I change my theme, we pretty much went with the same idea and I find that hilarious
There was a brief moment in which Gale was happy to see that his attack had not only hit, but took out one of the golems. When the destruction from the said attack had started to show, that feeling of happiness turned into an awkward chuckle before concern as rubble started falling down from the ceiling above them. Naturally, Gale was quick to move out of the way of harm, but the feeling of concern lingered watching how the others had faired. Thankfully no one had gotten hurt because of him. "My bad." Was all he offered with an awkward chuckle. Gale swore that he only blinked and all of a sudden Evie was hiding behind him. Did he, did he do something? Rather did someone else do something to cause this? "Its fine, don't worry. Are you okay though?" She, nor did anyone else, looked like that had actually been harmed by his attack. Not counting golem currently trapped under rubble. Gale had next turned his attention towards the same golem. So far the consensus was to leave it be as it posed no threat to them, which was a sentiment that he agreed with. "If it has no strength left, then it wouldn't be able to follow us unless someone fixes it." Which was a possibility given the marking they say all over the place. "Which hopefully they don't decide to hunt us down since we didn't completely break all of their things."
Probably for a better reason then why I'm up here
Silver hadn't thought anyone would bother going up to him and trying to speak while there was a fight going on. He had assumed that they would be much more interested in watching the other inmates possibly beat the crap out of one another than talk to the guy who hadn't bothered saying a single thing to anyone else. And yet, someone had, in fact, sat down at the table he had planted himself at and spoke to him. Two people, in fact, the latter spoke way too much for his liking. First Silver looked at the first person to speak to him. "I think its only a matter of time before someone gets shocked and detained." Ideally only the one who started the fight would get shocked and not all of them. Now, as for the talkative one. Most of what was said to him had the strong temptation to just ignore it. He didn't know if there was anyone's table and to be completely honest, he didn't care either. Nor did he scare easily so 'getting up in his face' would only annoy him further then intimidate him like the intended results would be. Not being given any chance to interject at all, Silver had little choice but to sit there and wait till the man, rather, til Lingo was finished. "I appreciate the warning, but it's unneeded. I've managed just fine doing this." And it was true, the main difference being that he didn't have any tools to work with or machine to hot wire, but the latter could be easily remedied by poking around with the ship while no one was looking.
Through a series of interesting events, the entire group of Creepy plant heartless had been removed from the battle all together. Surprising yes, but very beneficial for them, in the long run, all things considered. Kel remained on guard due to the other groups of heartless that were still around and about, ready to attack at any moment. He then felt a small breeze that by itself was nothing much to mention at first, but the same breeze was felt from four different direction, which was a cause for notice. All around the keyblade wielder were small blue heartless wearing heartless, all of which were spinning about in a circle. Each spin that they had made seemed to generate a small amount of wind. That aspect didn't seem all that threatening to be honest and despite them having the clear numbers advantages, they were waiting and attacking in drones of at least four and no more. It was always when the heartless had chosen to behave like that that made Kel perplexed about them. Taking into account all of the heartless that he's come across and vanquished, Kel still found it odd how rare it was for a mass group of heartless to just outright swarm them in particular. They seemed to have no troubles in doing that when it was Koucom. Maybe it was the keyblade that they from doing so. Would explain a few of the instances of this occurring, but not all of them. This was just speculation anyway and did not change the fact that these heartless had still yet to do anything while Kel was pondering this for probably the second or third time. At this rate, he might as well just go about and striking them down with his keyblade. Which, after a quick glance at his keyblade, he did exactly that. making sure to whack Jim the Battleship Sr once for good measure before finishing. Slowly Chrono trailed behind his sister towards, willing his legs to keep himself standing up until he found a much better and safer place to rest. He managed to get himself moving at a decent pace after the first couple of steps, but as it was still slower than his usual walking pace and took him a while to get to the door. In fact, Edna had already opened the door waiting for them by the time he had gotten there. With a small nod, Chrono had dragged himself into Edna's home and set his sights right for the couch. In hindsight, he should head back to the room he was given and change clothes, but he wouldn't make it that far. It was impressive in itself that he managed to get to her house in the first place. At the moment of reaching the couch, his legs finally gave out on him and down went Chrono. Fortunately, he fell in a sitting position in which that would leave him sitting to not attract worry. Boreas had approached them, asking about their well being. "We've been better." It was a safe assumption to that they all were in the same condition after what they had to endure in the fight. "Our fight was in the form of an angry clown that apparently was seeking vengeance." The fact that that was probably the clown that Blower Hat Guy was talking about was the furthest thing on his mind. There was literally no way that they would've gotten any information out of him anyway and after that fight, that didn't bother him in the slightest.
First the RPA, next all fo KHV shall belong to the roleplayers!
Ya know, I have been considering applying for staff if that helps the conspiracy.
Lazuli had been focused on trying to think of a way to cross the water and such didn't focus too much on Auburn's attempts at speaking. It was the third time she had attempted speaking in which he had looked in her direction to see what was up. Next was probably a first for Lazuli since his time being here. He was surprised, visibly surprised at the fact that Auburn had not only grown massive in size but was holding her hand out for them to ride in. When the surprise had finally faded from his face, he took the time to glance at the rushing water and Auburn's hand. It did make sense and was an easier alternative, but was it really okay to do this. Judging from the look on her face, it was though she must've wanted to get this over with quickly. Lazuli obliged and walked onto her hand, allowing himself to be carried to the other side of the river. "Thanks, did not know you could do that." The surprise was better hidden on his face but still clearly noticeable in his voice. Seeing a teammate grown significantly larger out of nowhere would have a lasting effect for just a bit longer in terms of surprise. All that aside though it was good to know and something he was sure to make a note of for the future.
Needless to say that the heartless were very confused as to why Jim the Battleship Sr had attacked some of their own, but somehow they knew that the attack in question wasn't meant for them and instead towards the keyblade wielder who was still going about and thinning their ranks with ease. In fact, Kel was still going on about and doing this while the heartless seemed to be putting together what had just happened. In fact, two of the Creeper Plants had gotten slain in the process of figuring this out. The nerve of him, attacking while people were thinking, did he not have any manners. Jim the Battleship Sr was offended by this site and fired off another attack. This one was aimed at Kel and seemed like it would strike its target true. The reality was that Kel too had and angled his keyblade as to deflect the cannon fire and struck away the last bit of Creeper Plants. Welp, that did not go the way Jim the Battleship Sr had hoped it would go and he was left in a moment of surprise as all of that. Unfortunately, this gave Kel a golden opportunity to go up to Jim the Battleship Sr and swiftly strike him. The attacks had hurt, but not as much as he would think from a golem that size. It must've been a perk of them being in a video game. Gale took another glance towards his spellbook and made note of how things looks in it. His spells seemed like they would be usable one after another, good to know. The golems had to have been getting weaker as after all the damage that they've hit them with. "Please hit this time." Was all Gale had said before firing another Great Fire Blast Gale used Great Fire Blast on Golem B
The group had moved with vigor following behind Pochahontas and were greeted by a grim sight. It wasn't any of the natives or the Englishmen who had been attacking, but instead it was heartless. A threat that was out of the league of both groups that could've been causing any troubles. Unfortunately Kocoum and his men had been the unfortunate one to cross path with the heartless. Kel may not have liked Kocoum, but that didn't mean he would want him to mauled by heartless. Fortunately it only looked like he had fallen unconscious and not worse. With his keyblade drawn, Kel had gone on the offensive and attacked the nearest heartless to him. It just happened to be one of the Creeper Plants and it was brought down in one swift strike. This brought immediate attention to himself from the other four Creeper Plants that were around their fallen comrade. They seemed to all have the same idea in mind as they all fired off a round of seeds towards Kel. He made no hesitation to move out of the way of the attack and counter by flinging his keyblade at two of the plants that were clustered together. They were cleaved in two with relative ease as the blade went further and whacked Jim the Battleship Sr on the back of the head. He was fortunate enough to not be taken out in one hit, but was still relatively annoyed by the sudden and unwarranted attack on him. Yes he was a heartless and he did, kinda, almost kill Kocum and his men, but that was besides the point. There were rules to a fight and rules had to be upheld with honour. Otherwise, Jim the Battleship Sr would shift into maximum honour drive! To give a small taste of this Jim the Battleship Sr retaliated by attacking and forgot to aim said attack. The end result being two more creepy plants being wiped out. Oops. Let's give Chrono 3 AP Boosts and 1 HP Boost, learning Blitz+ and lastly his keyblade transformation shall be a Bow and Arrow
They did it, despite everything that had literally been thrown at them, they managed to beat the clown. A moment that should've been met with celebration was instead faced with Chrono holding his keyblade in a defensive manner while barely managing to stand for the clown that they had just beaten planned to drag them down along with him. His legs were too shaken as a result of everything that had happened ready himself as the clown inched closer and closer. Then he was gone in an instant, leaving nothing behind but a black wisps as the scenery around them changed to a much brighter setting. A hill that happened to overlook Edna's home. A nice enough sight for Chrono's arms to just flop to his sides, causing his keyblade to land on the ground before fading away. Tinarah suddenly started leaning against him and it didn't bother Chrono too much. A lean was a lean, not like she'd collapsed onto him. Besides with his legs still shaking he wasn't going anywhere right now, though the healing did help return feeling to them. "I sure hope so, I don't think my legs will keep me standing much longer."
Having stopped thinking of ways to mess around the with muzzle that they were given without triggering the electric shock, Silver turned head so that it was being held up by his chin while giving him a good view of the fight that was taken place. Mushrooms, scum and blood were the main points of what he heard and enough to know that a fight was pretty much going on. That and someone had some odd obsession with mushrooms. Fighting already seemed like a waste of energy. They were still going to stuck with one another regardless of what happened here. Just as his head had flopped back to its side, the next voice that was heard had caused him to audible groan. From there on things only got worse. Even if he wasn't paying attention, he saw enough from within his peripherals to keep up with everything. The usual thought processes his mind had been put on a temporary pause to make notes on the ones he was looking at. Who to keep an eye on and who to avoid and right now the alien was already at the top of the list so far. "What a drag." Having to watch his back, certainly wasn't the first thing he'd wanted to do, on top of his non existent combat skill that would make the task much harder to do. Maybe he could rig the muzzle to be a protection device of sorts, would require him to actually remove it to figure out how it worked though. And back to square one he was.
Clearly someone wanted to test just how much he could handle and the faith pain in his arms from the dark lightning coursed through his arms. It was just enough to distract him from the onslaught of elements that rained down onto him. Needless to say it hurt, a lot, but he was still standing. Despite all of the pain that was just screaming at him to stop, Chrono moved forward as fast as he could and struck at the clown with as much force he could muster. The effort was followed by a Ruinra spell that shot off three orbs directly into the clowns face. HP: 2/85 AP: 0/56 + 30 MP: 8/30
"We wouldn't have gotten this far if we couldn't handle this much." Chrono remarked, feeling still somewhat fatigued despite all of the healing he had gotten over the course of the battle. However just as he'd said, this wasn't the worse that he's been thrown. On another level, no doubt about that, but he was still standing and that wasn't going to change anytime soon. With keyblade in hand he rushed in to attack with his keyblade. The first blow had struck its target true and was followed up by a Vicinity Break. HP: 59/85 AP: 26/56 MP: 17/30
Everything he was told about Hojo didn't ring any bells, but it was enough to know that this man was not to be taken lightly. Hunting a race to near extinction in itself was a problem. The sounds of drums had brought him back from his thoughts and his surrounding. "If the drums actually do mean trouble, then she could use some help." There were three of them that were able to help and that wouldn't change even if John had chased after Nanaki.
From the moment that the ship had docked up until they had gotten collars from the loudmouth that had taking the time to greet them Silver had showed no signs of reacting besides giving Officer Grant the blankest stare he could muster. Was all this really necessary? The only thing he'd done was hack a bunch of robots and mess around with him. Wasn't like anything was destroyed, people killed or governments overthrown. Well, one out of the three of those were true, but it wasn't intentions. He was bored and things like that are liable to happen when he got like that. Once the 'orientation' was finished and they were let go, Silver had found himself a spot at a table and just flopped down into table. He sat down like a normal person, but his head and arms were plopped down. After a few moments of silently sitting there, he starting touching the collar around his next. He really wanted to mess around with this and see how it ticks. Maybe someone else would die as a result of it and he could just remove the collar from the corpse. "Tempting, but that'd be too much work." He mused aloud, not at all concerned if anyone heard him. They wouldn't know what he was referring to anyway if they did.
