Kel, having never seen a waterfall before, was immediately distracted by the sheer sight of it all. The tranquil air that it all seem have while providing a peaceful sight and the shadow behind that ran off shortly before John Smith gave chase. Okay that last part wasn't really anything that had to do with the waterfall itself and more so the surprise from John's actions. Kel had barely moved a muscle before they were stopped by, using John's descriptions from earlier, Indians. Not the best of timings for them to show up, especially with threatening their lives. "Easy there, we aren't looking for trouble. I'm Kel." His hands went up as well to prove his statement. "No need to threaten our lives here."
Chrono was pleasently surprised to see that the "Bowler Hat Guy" was actually willing to tell him about their plan. He was expecting things to be difficult, like what Xerek was trying to do. Thankfully Elastigirl had agreed to giving him a good word cause Chrono had no say in that. As the two bickered, Chrono made note of the key information that was slipped out. A Clown named Kefka, hooded woman and the magiteck. It all came back to the magikteck and he had no idea who the clown was, he'd imagined that even that would stick out in a world of heroes. Same with a hooded women. The rest of the argument had just left Chrono perplexed. The Bowlcape Emporium? Could that really be considered something a villain would do. Even taking into account that they had brainwashed heroes to help them, with that being the end goal? He made the smart move and choose not to dwell on that any further and walked away from the two. Just in time to hear Torrin mentioned 'the heart of the world'. "That's something we, rather, you can do?"
"I suppose." Kel relented. Well being cautious wasn't a bad thing in itself, a bit worrying depending on what he does in the event they run into a Indian though. They didn't make any progress in getting John Smith to stop calling them savages. He said it was ingrained in his brain and would not be easy to change then. Kel had heard the same sounds that everyone else had heard, but didn't put it together as to what it was. Mainly cause he's never actually seen a 'waterfall' in person before until now. Regardless he follow suit behind Aislinn in the direction of the sound.
Unsurprisingly they weren't not given a warm welcome or hailed as heroes when they had arrived back to Mora's village. If there was to be a surprise behind this, it was that all of them were treated with the same disdain as opposed to just himself. It was his idea that they all followed, so him getting the full treatment made sense to him in his head. Now Mora being kicked out along side with was not expected. Her mother was very adamant about kicking them out. "Somehow I don't think it'll be that easy." He muttered to himself. Could be him just being pessimistic though and he was willing to admit that. If he was proven wrong anyway.
Having nothing else to do while he waited for Aeira to grab the flag, Vallus simply stood watch. For what he was watching out for he had no idea, but he doubted anything that he could show up would be outside of anything he could handle. At first he actually stood while watching out for anything. That lasted for about a couple of minutes before he had pretty much said 'eff it' and just sat down while he waited. Everything certainly was quiet and Vallus had just decided to look around at the surroundings. When Aeira had landed, it prompted Vallus to stand up after nodding in acknowledgment at their task being completed as he followed behind her.
Outside of wondering why Torrin hadn't done all that sooner, Chrono looked to the Bowler Hat guy as the others talked about whether or not they should rest. As it stood right now he couldn't see how it was that they weren't done with all this. He looked over to Doris, who he could've sworn had made some sort of noise right as he'd said that. Okay, they would need to clean this all up, but that was a issue for a different time. Chrono had then walked up to the Bowler Hat guy. "What did you need these heroes for? It had to have been something more then just heavy lifting." While he may have been restrained by ElasticGirl, Chrono still remained cautious to some degree in the event he tried something.
"So its like a guild then." Under that reasoning, Kel put together that this 'Virginia' place was where it was located at. Then his statement afterwards caused Kel to raise an eyebrow. If the savages were only to be involved if they got in the way, then why was he going around with a weapon in his hand. He hadn't heard any sounds that would imply someone was nearby and he has been keeping both an eye and an ear out for those kinds of things. "This seems more like you're hunting them. If they stay out of the way to mind their own business, why not do the same and look for gold?"
No matter how many times Kel heard that word, he was still having troubles actually picturing these indians as 'savages'. His own head canon would fit the name better, but seemed out of place for this world as well as odd given they weren't in the process of defending themselves right now. So far they seemed to be doing a good job in leading John away from where they assumed the indians were. "By the way, what is the 'Virginia Company' you mentioned earlier?" He also had no idea what 'Virgina' was either, but hopefully that would be answer while his first question was answered.
Kel shrugged off the comparison to him and Radcliff. Adventure was just never really a high priority to him when compared to other things. Either way John was clearly enjoying himself as he'd gone out of his way to hop onto a rock and pose in the wind. Kel actually chucked at the sight right as the wind had picked up. Maybe Luna had a point, there was a seemingly relaxed air among them despite John still holding his gun. "I'm starting to see what you mean there Luna."

Kel too was able to understand the adventure reason behind John Smith being here. It was a pretty easy reason to understand and much better when compared the other ones he listed. "I can get that, well kinda, there's never been much of a desire for adventure for me. Its a nice change of pace though." After all there's been numerous things that he's both seen and done while on this adventure that he probably never would've done before. In that regard he was certainly grateful for all this.
Lets go 4 points into AP and learning Judgement
"Pretty much what she said, we just decided to go for a boat ride and ended up running into you." Kel added. It sounded believable enough given the circumstances. "What about you? These so called "savages" Kel provided his own air quotes for this one. "can't be the sole reason in which your here." By this point Kel had moved his hands into his pocket, giving off a slightly relaxed air while they continued with their plan.
Aislinn did have a point and to be honest he was having doubts about them the moment John Smith had given that very unconvincing description on what a 'savage' was. From what he could tell they had done nothing to warrant being called that. "I'm not opposed to the idea of leading them away, but" He paused to look at another tree, inspecting its entirety before looking back to Aislinn as he'd found nothing on the tree. "what if he decides not to follow us, they, well Ratchilffe, already doubts us. I don't know, its not like we can just scare him away."
Kel continued to further examine the symbol, trying to see any connection as to what it could be. The others had made their own guesses, which made sense as well. "Well we got time I think." The sun wasn't exactly setting and the sky didn't look red so they had to have some form of time before nightfall. "Let's see if we can find anymore around here." Kel walked away from the first tree and went to the tree right next to it. He found...nothing. This wasn't going to be easy.
"Could be, looks like a rune to me as well." Kel added. That connection was odd to him given that back on his world runes for magic and well, he didn't think that anyone on this world could use magic besides them. Interesting. "This could be their hunting grounds, would explain the deer." A little concerning if it turned out that they did walk right into someone else hunting grounds. Though he was curious as to what the others thought.
Nothing out of the ordinary had occurred as they continued walking. No more animal sightings, alive or hunted, no hunter of said animal. Nothing at all. Which on the one hand was a relief, something like that could be problematic long as John Smith was around with his weapon. They had walked past a tree that had a marking which stuck out to Kel. "Hey, look at this." Kel approached the marking on the tree and the closer look reminded him of similar things back home.
Kel glanced around before returning his attention back to Luna. He hadn't heard anything rustling near them so nothing had gotten there yet, but they couldn't stick around long if someone was on the way. He tried to think of some way to compromise seeing that Luna was in the process of digging a hole to bury the deer. It wasn't needed though as Luna herself had stopped digging and walk on ahead. "Wait up." Kel picked up his pace to be walking along side her. "Not a good idea to be going off on by yourself right now."
His first attack had successfully wounded the hound that was later finished off by someone else. Arthur wasn't sure how to feel about assisting someone else in a kill he'd meant to do in himself, but seeing as there were plenty of other targets around he didn't think much on it. Instead he aimed towards another hound and fired a shot off at it. The bullet hit its mark and the hound collapse onto he ground. Based on that little back and forth that Daeni and Cerdic were having, he could easily see him believing that they were in fact siblings had he been told that before his memories had returned."Probably not." 'Aveum' was too deeply rooted to everything that had just transpired here and he'd rather not have his name be a constant reminder of that. Not that 'Chrono' was all that much was all that better. Comparing the two though, 'Chrono' was the more tolerable name. "Wait, how does 'Chrono' fit me better?"
