There was a brief sense of accomplishment as the flame clone had vanished before them, which didn't change the grand scheme of this situation nor the lack of confidence that Lazuli had regarding this whole situation. The few moments after the clone had vanished past and the next attack from Agni was sent their way. The large wave of flames took them all down with ease. Everything had started to go black and the last thing that Lauzli thought was Why didn't she start off with that attack. When he next woke up, he was in the process of being helped to his feet by Qrow and being moved a helipad. A little late, but better late than never.
Unfortunately after hearing about some sort of escape tunnels, there was nothing else that Zephyr heard that he could consider useful to his objective. Just useless chatter about practically everything but anything that could be considered helpful. It was a bummer and yet, part of him wasn't surprised by that. People tended to that in these kind of situations. Before further getting lost in his thoughts, Dylan had approached him. "Only thing I managed to overhear was a royal guard mentioning a escape tunnel."
Aeira wasn't the only one who was getting annoyed with the way that Tango was speaking to them. The lofty way he spoke was really getting to him as evident by his grip on his weapon tightened. By this point he had gone from hiding behind the pillar to just standing next to it in plain sight. The threat was still around, but by this point it didn't seem like anything would happen. This assumption of his was further reinforced when someone else had arrived to the scene from out of nowhere. The shear contrast between the two of them was almost exhausting to watch. The spectacle that was 'Lima' didn't last for much longer as she vanished with Tango. When the dust had settled after the sudden disappearance, Lea had spoken about what they should do next. "What do you plan on having us do when we get back? Cause if we do have competition, sitting around waiting isn't a good plan."
The combination of failed dodging attempts and being slashed by the heartless's trident had left Chrono in the beginning stages of exhaustion. Despite being able to stand on his feet and hold up his keyblade, his breathing was starting to become much more labored. This was the last heartless left and muhc like its former comrade, dealing with it would be easy. Using as much strength that he could muster, Chrono moved forward towards the heartless as quickly as he could and struck at it with a downward slash. His blow succeeded in cleaving the heartless in two. "Finally, that's done." No sooner had he said that he fell down onto his rear in order to his his legs a break for the time being.
The sudden sight of the heartless floating in the air had caught him off guard and prevented him from making one last attack on the darkside. This didn't change much as Chrys had dashed off to deal the final blow to the Darkside. With everything that he's had to sit through recently, the fact that the Chrys was still alive was very much a well needed relief. The Darkside slowly began the process of fading away like defeated heartless always tended to do, removing the biggest obstacle. Still that left the swarm of smaller heartless all around them, something now easily avoidable for all of them. "Let's hurry up and get to the house now."

Having made his back to the others after his first attack, Kel looked up to see that Sark was still dealing the effects of their first strike, granting them another chance to strike. "Count me in, I've been wanting to see what I can do now." Kel replied to his partner, taking note of the cherry blossoms that had started to fall. He knew exactly what that meant as well as how to respond. Both his keyblades were place on top one another before being moved to his side and just as cherry blossoms on his own making had started to fall, Kel closed his eyes. It was during this state that Kel focused purely on on where Sark was, waiting for the right time to strike. The moments that passed felt like an eternity until the first cheery blossom landed on the digital ground. At that moment, Kel lashed out and unleashed his attack. He too ended up on the other side of him just as Aislinn had done. Now that the damage had been dealt, Kel had gone back to dual wielding his keyblades in preparation for his next move. With assistance from Tron, they had managed to prevent Sark from reaching the terminal and making the entire tournament they had gone through pretty much pointless. Tron was the first to call Sark out on his actions, something the latter was not too pleased with. In fact before turning to face them, he had grown significantly larger in size. Kel responded by calling forth both his keyblades for this. This would be his first fight using two at the same time, but he would manage. In the short time Chrono had taken to acknowledge what the glasses man said to him, he was struck in the back by one of the two remaining heartless. It wasn't as bad as it could've been, the warning he'd gotten helped avoid the full force of the attack, but where he was hit still greatly hurt. The pain surged around the afflicted area was great and Chrono ignored it at first. The heartless that had attacked him was still within range, which he used as his chance to strike at it. Now he was left with one more heartless to deal with, but the pain was starting to get to him. "Cure." A green light emanated from his keyblade and washed over him, alleviated some of the pain the he was feeling. "Just me and you now, bring it." Not the smartest move to taunt the heartless, but it was still one after all and this time he wouldn't take his eyes off it. HP: 25 AP: 0 Heartless Defeated: 1 Screwdriver

The spectral bird scanned the area nearest to the burning building in search of either the cause of the fire or anything that could be considered eye catching. Though even if they did find something, given their current location, it wasn't like they would be able to get there quickly. That was something that Arthur's partner wasted no time in pointing out. Why so interested in this, we can't change anything. True, but that didn't mean he couldn't gather any information to be used later. Arthur was never fond of direct confrontations as it was part of the reason his weapon of choice is the bow. If he did need to be more direct with things, then he liked to be prepared in any way possible. Including scouting out for any information he could get his hands on. Don't say that, this method is precisely how we came to be partners. Unless you'd rather me ignoring you back then. The silence in their mental link clearly gave way to the answer. Brynhild had also groaned, not that Arthur would've been able to hear it in the first place. The spectral bird continued to make its rounds before spotting a peculiar sight. A decently sized dragon and what he could assume to be its blond haired rider. An additional bit of magic was used to hear what they were saying, but it was only enough to hear the end of it. Magic did help in understanding what they were saying (priase be the pikachu sized dragon), but what he heard didn't completely sound accurate. Well the last word did at least. Hmm, wonder what it is that they're referring to. The bird found itself a sturdy branch to perch as it continued to watch the dragon and elf pair.
Chrono had been doing a good job at both avoiding the smaller heartless attacking him and dealing with them while avoid the ever encroaching attacks from the Darkside. It had gone in for another strike aimed for him and naturally he dodged it. The hand from that attack slowly started its ascent, something that didn't stop Daeni from climbing up it to get some hits in. The tactic itself was all fine and dandy, but the issue of getting back down remained. Moments later Daeni came crashing down to the ground, groaning at her landing. Both of the Darkside's limbs were out of reach and couldn't be attacked, however this time he's legs weren't left surrounded by various smaller heartless, making them very easy targets for Chrono. Tightening his grip on his keyblade, Chrono dashed forth and gave two powerful strikes at the appendages before backing away.
It seemed that so long as none of them attacked Tango, he wouldn't attack them. That didn't change how Vallus didn't trust him and remained on guard should something happened. In the time that he waited for that possibility, he listened to the conversation that was being made. Man without a heart? Why would someone like that be of any use to anyone? As the answer wasn't something that he could figure out right off the bat, he'd hope it would be something that Tango said while Koa continued to question him.
About partway towards the ruins Chrono hadn't heard or seen anything that was either suspicious or could be related to the outsiders in some way and he was making sure to keep an eye out for those kind of things. Yet nothing was really sticking out to him until he got closer to the ruins and heard the shouting up ahead. This hastened the pace that Chrono was moving in as he spotted the duo that was being attacked. He recognized the princess despite the brief look he got at her when she walked past them and the other guy was an unknown. Perhaps he was the outside that the king had brought up? If he was, then Chrono couldn't help but to feel a bit disappointed. He was expecting someone much more shady and sinister looking. Shame, but not the priority right now. That was the heartless that were currently attacking the duo. His keyblade materialized in his hand and Chrono went to deal with the shadows first. HP: 25 AP: 0 Heartless Defeated: 5 Shadows
It was easy to tune out the unimportant statements out of everything he was hearing as it was something that Zephyr had gotten used to doing. Helping this was the lack of attention he was getting as he skirted across the edge of the plaza eavesdropping attempts. Then came the mentioning of something that did catch his attention, from a royal guard no less. An escape tunnel. Probably used by whoever cast the magic. Now where is it?
