Chrono had no intention on suddenly relying on Illiana as a shrink, especially when he knew next to nothing about her to begin with. He did take a sip of the tea she had provided for him and spoke after putting the glass down. "Kinda hard not to, but I'm not going to get into details. I barely know you after all." He could've said more, but not only did he not feel like doing so, there wasn't much else that he wanted to say in the first place. When they were address by the captain and she made their position very clear on the ship. Not wanting to be thrown into the brig for an undetermined amount of time, Chrono did the smart thing and responded with a simple "Yes Ma'am." Tensing up as he said that too, though said tensity only last for the duration of the captains focus at them. Once she turned away, Chrono very quickly and noticeable relaxed from his posture. He stayed like that just long enough to hear that they had lost someone and the aftermath of that realization. Everyone had gone their own ways and Chrono had walked towards the lifeline of Mister Arrow to examine it. Making a mistake was possible, but this was something to keep people alive. Such tasks would usually cause whoever working on them to take extra precautions to ensure that something didn't go wrong. Chrono really just wanted to see for himself how the lifeline became undone. He grasps the line and ran his free hand down, closely examined the rope. He found where it had come undone and further down the rope he caught something else. The point where his hand hand currently stopped at was where the rope looked to have been cut by something sharp. Chrono was surprised to see this and yet he knew that he couldn't tell anyone. Not without some evidence or knowing who did it. He was already an newbie to this ship which wouldn't help back any baseless accusations that he made. It'd make things worse, probably start something and get himself thrown in the brig.
Zephyr stalked into the building shortly behind Dylan, his mind being elsewhere for the most part. Mainly regarding that strange guy he briefly spoke to back at the plaza. Everything about that guy brought up more questions that there was weren't really any answers that he could come up with to any of them. If the guy actually did how up here then maybe he could get some answer, maybe. But did he really want the guy show up though? Finally giving up on trying to think through that with the limited information that he had, he focused back onto reality right in the middle conversation between Kara and Dylan. Even half paying attention he managed to catch the gist of what was going on between the two of them. Dylan had a secret friend, they were going to see him, which could very well get them killed. He can hit people? That sounded like it would get them killed faster if anything.
Chrono was among the growing amount of people that were concerned with what Take had said in reaction to being called out by smiling. Before he could go see if he his friend was alright, Aria had gone ahead and done just that. Now it was just him, Illiana and Gylde. "It's Chrono." He said, pondering the idea of drinking tea. Other than how out of place it seemed to be drinking tea on the middle of the ship, it was a good idea for him to attempt to relax somewhat. At the very least relax his mind. "Sure, I suppose. I'll take some tea."
Two of their officers had gone missing and they were to interrogate the ones who had might know what happened to them. Sounded simple enough despite not knowing much about how to interrogate. Something about a good cop and a bad cop? Whatever, they could figure it all out when they got there or along the way. Kel briefly skimmed through the file that was handed to them specifically, momentarily surprised to hear someone else say his last name at that. With the objective being given to them they headed towards their destination. "Maybe someone wanted them out of the picture. They could've gotten annoyed with all those parking ticket thing." Kel said. 200 of those things was both impressive and a bit much.
2 points of AP and 1 point of HP for Chrono As well as the Combo Plus Ability
The brief respite after dealing with the heartless was very short lived as a result of the star that had gone supernova behind them had turned into a full on black hole. Just hearing the word "black hole" was enough for Chrono to firmly grasp the life line that he had attached to himself prior. It couldn't have been the first time that this crew has dealt with this situation with the way that the captain gave out orders. Amidst the cheering from the other crew mates, they were given time to rest. "What do you mean Lieutenant General?" That being the first thing Chrono was curious about on the account of Take had said that to Illiana of all people. Chrono then took noticed of the weak smile Aria had given him before her legs seemed to just give out from under her. "You sure you don't need some help?" Regardless of whether to not she took it, he felt like he should at least offer to help.
The lack of any out of nowhere time distortions made it harder for Chrono to dodge the attack from the air pirate. Despitr guarding the attack as best he could, it was still a heavy blow that was felt throughout his body and had sent him back a bit. Chrono ignored the pain and went back on the offensive. Take had struck down the air pirate that had attacked him just as Illiana and Glyde had arrived out of nowhere. It'd be better to ask where they had been. A near miss from a pirate had recentered focus and he retaliated with an attack of his own before it could get too far away. Following up on that with a quick spin of his keyblade, Chrono stabbed it through another pirate that had tried attacking him from behind. Good thing they weren't the sneakiest of things. HP: 11 AP: 0/16 (2 Pirates) MP: 12 2 pirates left
There was an odd sensation when the pirate hearless went to attack Chrono. With it being in the heat of battle, he didn't notice it when it had occurred, but when the attack had happened everything around Chrono briefly slowed down and he was able to dodge the attack with ease. Looking to see where the attack had gone, Chrono caught a glimpse of what looked to be a faded version of himself vanishing as a result of the attack. Finding the to be odd, like really odd, Chrono made a mental note of that before turning his focus back on to the heartless. The nearest two for him to attack both happened to be pirates, both of which distracted by Take's sudden burst of intensity. Providing him with the perfect chance to sneak up on them and strike. Those two heartless were taken down easily, but Chrono really did hope that Take would be okay presuming those heartless took to his aggression and all attacked him. HP: 30 AP: 0/16 (2 Pirates) MP: 12
After a while it looked that the they had managed to put all of the tickets that they possibly could on the cars in "violation". That, and the fact that the machine had looked broken according to Ignis. A broken machine was as good as any reason to return to the police station and that's what they did. Once there, Kel walked up the the cheetah at the desk. "Um, we're done hanging out those tickets."
While they seemed to be okay and still somewhat reeling from the effects of the supernova, everyone else had just sprung into action following the presumed captain bursting out of their quarters. Moment after later and they were tossed a rope to use as an anchor throughout this whole ordeal. Following the others, Chrono tied the rope around his waist just as the heartless had started to form on the deck. A flick of the wrist had lead to his keyblade forming in his hand and Chrono went on the offensive. A stream of lightning flew of the keyblade and struck down eight of the of the Fiery Globes. Tightening his grip on his keyblade, Chrono went into attack a smaller group of heartless that had drifted away from the main group. Three Red Nocturnes to be exactly. It was easy enough to take them down in a couple of them in a few strikes which fortunately thinned out the numbers that they were dealing with. Not by a whole lot, but it was a start mind you. HP: 30 AP: 10/16 (8 Fiery Globes, 3 Red Nocturnes) MP: 12
Chrono couldn't help himself but to stare at Silver as he strode up to Jim. It was mainly the cybernetic eye that stared at them. It was cool in a sense, but more so there was a bit of concern as to the long stare it gave him. Before anything could be said, a wave of heat collided into him before the sheer lurching of the ship had thrown him onto its deck. During the process of getting his bearings, the word 'supernova' was heard clearly. "Supernova, what?" Not completely believing what he heard, he glanced up towards the stary sky. Very quickly afterward his hand went to shield his eyes from the bright light that lasted a few seconds longer before fading away. "Its not a monster, nor something that you can really fight." Chrono said to Take, surprised by the fact that one had happened this close to them. Slowly he got back onto his feet, giving Aria a quick thumbs up. "I'm good."
Kel stood there and watched and the cheetah had explained to them what they were supposed to be doing and by the end of it, he had no idea what it was exactly that they were supposed to be doing. Parking duty? With a shrug he choose not to dwell to hard on it for the time being, nor the work ethics of the ZPD based off of what Clawhauser had told them. A swift change of outfit into the appropriate police attire and they were out dealing parking tickets. To be honest, Kel hadn't really cared about how to do this and had it not been for Steel demonstrating how to properly do them. He took a guess at the date and wrote them down on the various notes and started putting them on any car that he saw didn't already have on it. Hopefully he was doing this right and not have to worry about any backlash as a result of this. 60/100 Tickets
The wait before she had gotten to the terms of what she wanted to say was short, but in that time she had adjusted herself to what he assumed to be a more comfortable position. Really it was just a tilt and nothing more, but with the way that the light had reflected off her skin had made it harder for him to to not take notice of it. Lumen's head started to nod his head at her explanation, taking in the situation that was presented to him. It was vague to the point where he did want to know more about this 'incident'. His hand reached out to meet hers and gave it a firm shake. "And I'm Lumen." His first name would be plenty sufficient for the time being.
Following Aria's explanation of how they got there, Chrono thought about for a few moments and compared to what he was going to say, it was probably a better option that they could go with. Making a quite mental nod, he gestured over to her with his hands. "Pretty much what she said. We just happened to end up here. So not being thrown over board given where we are would be nice." Jim seemed to be pretty understanding given the fact that two people had just appeared from thin air onto the ship's deck.
When Chrys had first brought up that he knew something about having something that they all should know, he was expecting something...different then what was actually revealed to them. The fact that Ria was the one who had caused the memory and to an extent the pain that he experienced as a result of said memory had annoyed him. No more than his current batch of annoyance was toward Ria anyway. "One of us certainly played into his hands if that was the case." Chrono muttered, cutting a glance towards Cerdic. "Basically not only does Ria have control over the memories we get, but he looks like me as well." As if he needed something else Ria related to bug him. Chrono said nothing more than that as he waited for either Alder or Moira to take the lead. Who did it matter not to him, just as long as it was someone that knew what they were doing.
It was to no surprise that following his attack that got rid of of the the beowolves that they were facing, some of the ones that were still standing had turned their attention towards him. Had it been just one, then he would've continued to fight with only one of his swords. Two on the other hand was a different matter. If he was more confident in his skills then he would continued to fight with just a single blade, however his skills were only within the realm of self teaching and lacked any refinement of any teachings. Now having both his blades drawn out, he fended against the two beowolves that had attacked him to some degree. Their claws still did land hits on him that his aura mitigated the blow for. Their blow had made some distance between them, but not enough to prevent Lazuli from making a counter attack of his own. A quick step forward and his blade was already cutting through the first beowulf that had attacked him. The next one had only received a small cut across its chest, but it wasn't enough to deal any fatal damage. HP: 9 Grimm Defeated: 1 Beowulf Grimm Remaining: 5/10 Beowulf, Beowulf 3/4 Only one of the Beowulf had turned their focus towards him, which was fine. Despite the positioning he was because of his last attack, Vice could still easily adjust to account for the one Grimm that had attacked him. Before the beast could get away, the hammer itself was flipped so that the hammer part of his weapon collided with the grimm's gut. From there Vice spun his weapon and subsequently the Grimm until the latter had gone flying into another grimm. One was injured as a result of this and the other was defeated and had started the process of fading away to nothing. HP: 12 Grimm Defeated: Beowulf 4 Grimm Remaining: 3/10 Beowulf, Beowulf 1/4
Hearing Luna, Kel looked towards his now hare partner. "Probably so we don't draw in too much attention by being the only humans walking about here." Not too long after he had said that, they were joined by Stratos, Steel and Ignis, each in their own different animal form. Now they needed to find the first place that they needed to go too and somewhere with authority was as good of an idea as any. It worked backed in Sanfransokyo after all. "Its a good starting place, so let's get it a shot."
The fact that Aria had bowed before him really caught him by surprise. He did understand that she felt bad, but she didn't need to for his sake. "It's fine, I should've stayed with her instead of letting her go off on her own." He would still blame himself for that, but he would at the very least try not to dwell on that. Brooding right now wouldn't help anyone out. Chrono would have to move forward to make any progress. Kinda redundant to say that, but the point still stood. Nodding to affirm what Take had said, Chrono added in. "They should be on the other side of the ship, least Glyde went to check on Illiana."
How they there was the harder part to explain and before he could get around to do so the flash of light had caught his attention. Like Take his first thought upon seeing Torin was that he had returned with Tinarah. Naturally the idea of this brought a lot of hope for Chrono, yet it was too good to be true. The person accompanying Torrin wasn't Tinarah. However it was still a surprise nonetheless. He'd brought back Aria, the one that they all had thought was dead. When Chrono had made his way over there, he'd heard the summary of what had happened to Tinarah. Simply put, it didn't make him feel any better. Whoever the Light Chaser was had clearly lied to her and sent her off to who knows where. Dammit, just when I finally thought I had a chance of finding her. A deep sigh followed this thought. He couldn't get too down on himself. He would still find his sister, that was for certain. Tuning back into the conversation, he caught the back end of what Take had said. "Yeah, let's not cut off her arm or wrist."
The wait for the ale he had ordered was cut short and not because the tavern had some sort of excellent service and brought him his drink. Not to say that they didn't have excellent service or anything, it wasn't well shown on the other hand. Either way, the reason that the wait was cut short was because of the service, but as a result of Qrow showing up and kicking them out. You'd think that a bar would be where he was at his happiest. Before they were completely ushered out, he quickly slipped a note to the bartender. A note that simply read 'I'll be back for my ale.' The next day had started off with the simple intention of having them find some sort of relic thing. That did not last long before they had to deal with an oncoming threat of grimm. To combat this threat the students themselves would be dispatched to deal with them. His team would be dealing with the ones to the east. The grimm threat was large in the are in which they were in, something that was likely the same about the others. Nevertheless, Lazuli drew the longer blade out his two sword and went to strike the nearest Grimm to him. Fortunately this beowulf wasn't paying complete attention to him as a result of Uva's attacks. This provided him with the proper chance to deal a swift end to the Grimm. HP: 15 Grimm Defeated: 1 Beowulf Grimm Remaining: 9/10 Beowulf, 1 Ursa (3/8 BP) ~~ Vice had been rather distant from his team for the most part regarding interactions. This continued to when they had entered the battle field when he still didn't say anything. His hammer like weapon was hefted onto his shoulder, he went to dealing with the grimm before him. Instead of taking the easy route and dealing with the Beowulf, Vice had gone straight for the Ursa near the back of the pack. The beast had spotted him right as he swung his hammer and despite being able to somewhat block the attack, the full force still was sent through its body and dealing some damage. HP:15 Grimm Remaining: 9/10 Beowulf, 1 Ursa (2/8 BP)
