Bracing himself for the first two heartless attack, Chrono felt the wind blow past him as they flew into Tinarah. Distracted by this, one managed to graze his back. When the heartless had settled Chrono dealt with the rest of them.
An odd feeling had fell over Vice at the announcement of the teams. It wasn't quite disappointment, it was too early for that. The feeling was close to it however. The reasoning behind this feeling was quite simple, one particular faunus on his team. Vice could already tell that he wouldn't enjoy being around him which given his tendency to fight alone, was beneficial for those small instances. Their elevator ride had soon come to an end and during the brief rest period that their leader, Lloyd, had introduced himself."Vice and I'm from Mistral. The reason I'm here is to settle a score with someone." Vice stated plainly, cutting a glare towards Arian. "Just don't get in my way and we'll be fine." Personally Lazuli was glad that he wasn't chosen to be leader, too much responsibility on the shoulders of a leader especially when something goes wrong. Like say during the current incident that they were heading off to, not trying to be pessimistic but this is a lot to throw at them with as the first thing for them to do as a team. "Well Blaine, I'm Lazuli from the upper half of Mistral, though its pretty dull there so I spend most of my times in the slums." It was where he'd gotten his weapon from too or rather where he had it made. Being form the rich part did make getting a heavily customized weapon very easy.
The woman didn't have anything else to say to him after his response, which was fair enough. A part of him had expected as much given the nature of his response while another part had thought there would be some form of quip. Regardless of the lack of response that he was given there was still the matter of the raider boat that was in the distance and while someone else did show up with a boat of their own, saying to get on. What Lumen would've liked to do was to better prepare for this whole thing in some way, but still he had not a single inkling of an idea on how to deal with the sea serpent for starters. The raiders were a much more manageable issue to deal when compared to the sea serpent. Eventually he decided to wait and see if anyone other than the barkeep would get on the boat before he decided to do so himself.
So he was easy to read, that was a new one out of all the things that he'd been called, though the intent in this case was different. Zephyr wasn't sure just how he would go about solving that apparent problem of his, though he would figure something out given some time. At the very least it would be something stick around in his head. "My answer is simple." The various times that this fleeting thought of his had occur gave her plenty of chances to consider what he would do in such a situation. "If it needs to be done then I'll do it." Contrary to most of the stories Zephyr loved to read in which situation like the one proposed had a better chance of being resolved fully by just locking away the perp, he knew that in the real world things were not quite so simple and easy. That one extra step over the line was sometimes needed.
It had taken much longer than Vallus would've liked, but they were finally given their first objective as part of this rag tag group. Finding other keyblade wielders certainly did appear to be easy, but if they were hostile then he couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't engage. He wouldn't actively provoke them though. When he had finished his brie thoughts regarding the task that they were given, he turned his attention towards his teammates for his group. His thoughts on them were still pretty neutral for the most part and likely wouldn't change until he saw them in action. "The sooner we get started, the sooner we get back."
Doing nothing but driving forward gave Kel plenty of time to at least try and get a better grasps on what he was doing. Despite the general look of the light cycle and the feel of everything around him, there didn't seem to be anything extremely complicated with the controls.. Not that he fully knew what they all did in front of him anyway. He wouldn't have the time to do so either cause he was still in a match and the first sight of his opponent had been seen. To his right a red light cycle appeared to be on a dead set on catching up to him, which it did in a matter of moments. The two different color cycles were were racing against one other practically neck and neck with the red one just barely pulling ahead. 5/10 Blessed Thief: 60
Oh crud, in all the surprise about seeing former allies, Kel forgot to actually try to practice with the light cycle and it was too late to do so now with their match starting. Their opponents were much more on the aggressive side of the competition given the call outs that were made to them. Call outs that he did not understand in the slightest and were really the least of his concerns. The booming voice declared the round start and Kel held out the cylinder, forming his light cycle and taking off. For starters Kel was impressed that he hadn't fallen off yet given that this was his first time riding something like this. Then there was his lack of knowing what avoiding now, so far he was doing nothing beside avoiding crashing into anything or anyone. Going well so far if he says so himself. 2/10 Blessed Thief: 30
During the first wave of retaliation from the heartless, Chrono was able to avoid being hit by any of the small and fast heartless. Chrono had also managed to wipe out a few of the ones that had blown past him. When they went back to flying around and avoiding some of the attacks that was thrown there way, he waited for them to clump up together so that his attacks would have a better chance at hitting. Even if he missed his initial target some of them would still meet the wrong end of his keyblade. This current tactic of his required some patient and attentiveness to know the right time to strike at the heartless. Heartless Killed: 8 Heartless Remaining: 54 HP: 25 AP: 0
Through some odd and questionable stroke of luck, the journal had ended up on the ground in front of Chrono. Finally he could get some answers as to what he was trying to do and why. The pain subsided further and he slowly reached out for it. Right as he had almost grabbed it, it was snatched up by Alder who both read and destroyed it before his eyes. Devastated, that was the simplest way to describe how he felt seeing the ashes of the journal, his journal land before him. Had it not been for Alder's promise of sharing the information with him he would've punched him right then. Still his fist was tightly clenched and slammed on the floor. Chrono was then silent as he rose to his feet. "Make sure you do that." With clear disdain he directed his words to Alder.
Upon stopping in front of the bridge, Chrono immediately looked to see if there was any other way of crossing the chasm before them other than the bridge and unless one of them was hiding the fact that they could fly, he found nothing of use. Long as the bridge didn't collapse on them while they ventured across they should be fine. No shorter after having that thought, a large swarm of small heartless had appeared overhead from the chandelier. A small group of eight had noticed Chrono and flew down towards him. In response Chrono brought out his keyblade and started striking at them as they got close. it wasn't the easiest thing given how quick they moved, but he did manage to get rid of the eight around him over time. Heartless Killed: 8 Heartless Remaining: 62 HP: 25 AP: 0

Voices, the faint sound of voices barely managed to break through the barrier of pain and memories in which Chrono was dealing with. After a while the pain started to subsided gradually, which actually gave Chrono a small chance to think about the memories that had arisen before the overwhelming pain did. Memories that were vanishing as the pain did! Yet again memories that he had regain were being stripped away from him before he could make any sense of it all. Even if it only was the second time it has occurred to him, did nothing to change how infuriating it was. His screaming had come to a stop and was replaced with heavy breathing. The last bit of memories finally ebbing away from him and leaving him with the certainly that he was indeed Aevum and the lingering feeling of anger and annoyance. Whatever he was trying to do in that memory, he seemed to be angry amidst the pain he felt. Without the pain, the voices around him became clearer and more recognizable. This prompted him to look up at the exchange going on before him. "The...journal."
And this is how their relationship ends, abuse by FF7. Not all that surprising really
Past: She seems like a cool person; Present: I was right, and we got her back into the RPA...kinda sorta Don't really have one given that most of the people i rp with, I tend to enjoy doing so The World that Never Was Roxas Uh sliver I guess.
After getting into the carriage, Zephyr had spent most of his time looking outside the window and taking a look at all the things that they either passed by or what passed them. The main thing of note was the motorcar that had blown past them at a faster pace. Zephyr had seen a few motorcars pass by every now and then, but when he did it was always from a distance and not from this close. Dylan's question change the focus of his attention from the variety of things going on outside the window to Dylan himself. "No, but why do you ask?" What he didn't say that there has been a time where he actually considered doing so. It was a fleeting thought at the time and primarily emotion driven.
Past: Cool, another person to rp with. Present: You area amusing and very easily confused turtle Roy, 100% because of Super Smash How he fights, being able to summon weapons from thin air and having them float around you was the main thing I was looking forward to doing back when it was Versus XIII. As a person he seems like a cool guy to know, minus everything that gets thrown at him. That I join: Return of the Keyblade That I made (and actually started): Persona: The True Awakening Joining every rp that you can actually does help, so does writing characters you don't typical use.
Since you didn't really have a character that you frquently used when rping, you got a simple "Oh hey, its that person. They're fun to rp with" Male: Noctis, Female: Iris, though Aranea is a close second Emil is 100% male Probably sometime after I re download the app and book to read it, unless you want to buy it for me :) You know my addiction to Subway is strong
Reaction to the world: Interesting and cool; Reaction to what's doable in the world: Yes, I need this in my life (contrary to how I typed it, there was much excitement) Shaken Hmm, I guess Aelin Fireheart. Though really anyone from the SOS group would fit into this The former, I barely watch tv nowadays
It was a relief to see that that accursed circle gone when he had gotten back from breaking the last crystal, though Cerdic's request had caught him off guard. "Uh no, I'm not comfortable with that either." The only person that he planned on hitting was Ria and that was a feeling that was likely agreed upon among the group. Kara soon woke up afterwards thus reducing the need to hit her in order to wake her. That was followed by a pretty strong desire for Chrono to start casually whistling while Ceridic went off about wanting to kill Ria and Aveum. Ria being killed he didn't care about at all, Aveum on the other hand he did care for reason that will not be shared to him. Least not until he could sort through his memories and figure out everything. Chrono had only a brief second in which he was able to look around before a sharp pain shot through his head and seemed to grow to the point where in he was clutching his head with both hands to try and cope with the pain. The attempt did naught to help as the pain only continued the more the memory played back in his head. By this point he had collapsed onto his knees and was screaming, violently screaming at that. The memory was the last thing he could think of, let alone focus on. He just wanted this pain to stop.
