When both Roxanne and Clarity had gone off, Creed had chosen to stay behind. Given the direction they were running off in, he could assume that they were heading towards where Felicia, Cin and Rhett were and he wanted no part of that. Having stared down the hall long enough, Creed looked back to the resting Brianne. Just what had happened between at the bar and now that would get her sick. He remembered that her hand was trembling as they left so maybe that had something to do with it. "Great, you're sick an I have no idea what's wrong. Some help I am." Creed said to himself mostly. Sien jumped feeling someone tap him on the shoulder. Upon turning around, he wasn't expecting to see a werewolf. Though given what had transpired with the others, he figured what this meant. It was finally their turn for whatever Gaia had in store for them. The warlock didn't know just what it was, but there was only one way to figure out so Sien followed behind the werewolf. Valister understood perfectly and in truth he wanted to be the one holding the knife instead of Masque. That wouldn't have changed the outcome of all this, but it was a small precaution nonetheless. "Yes, I do." Once the agreement was made, Valister held out his arm for Masque to find a place to cut and draw the nessisary blood.
With Koldo being the first person to speak, Damian had little choice but to comply and grabbed Lexander's other arm. Hearing Koldo say what would happen should if they didn't play their parts right, Damian smirked. You're welcome to try, I've been hoping for another chance to punch you. As it stood right now, Koldo was the only person to ever beat Damian in a fight. That said, it wasn't like he had an impressive undefeated streak before Koldo had beaten him. No, he simply wanted another chance to fight him. Gale shrugged at what Tessa had said. He never really noticed that things were quieter than usual. What he did notice was a lack of Adelina here, but that could easily be explained by the fact that she was spending time with her kids. Probably why Chrono was the one behind the kitchen this time around. "Hopefully that won't be the case." He had been caught out in the rain before and it wasn't fun, especially one time in particular. Gale shook away those thought before turning his attention back to Tessa.
"Right." Giving the other pilot a nod before heading to the seat. With the only thing that he had to do right now was keep the ship in idle, which really wasn't a hard task to do. However while that was the case, it didn't mean that he could slack off or make any careless errors. Keeping that in mind, Aeros took hold of the conrtrols, making sure to keep the ship in it's idle position. Once again Crow's organization was halted by the voices of someone else, though this time it instead of it being people who had decided to enter from the ceiling, it was Commander Lightwood instructing him, and some others, to head towards the armory. Having spent most of his time in the sick bay, Crow wasn't sure just what was going on that would require those left on the ship to be prepared for a ship invasion. Still, with these questions he had to head to the armory as per his instructions. Having gotten up from his station, he walked out of the sick bay and headed towards the armory.
Admist Tessa being defensive of Rayyad and Ren questioning him, Rayyad had himself a freak out. Well this was just turning out to be one interesting experience for Lumen with all the spiders and now a guy who was hearing voices in his head. Yup, one interesting experience for them all. There wasn't much else left for them here, so Lumen followed behind the others as they left this portion of the cave.
The two swipes from the shadow blot had done more than knock Kel around, for it had left him down on one knee once the attacks were over. The pain surged through his body as Kel slowly made his way back onto his feet. Despite how often his body has gone through pain like this, he still wasn't used to dealing with it. Given his luck it would probably be best if he actually worked on that at some point. Not know though for he was in the middle of a fight. Having willed himself back on his feet, he ran forward and attacked the shadow blot. Kel used Aerial Slam.
Honestly Aeros was expecting to be reprimanded for being late, hence why he brought the medicine with him. When that didn't appear to be the case, he simply saluted his commanding officer as she walked past him. "I'll try not too." Aeros replied in a joking manner before heading to his station.
Felicia did have a point, whatever had done all this her was still out there and it was possible that they were also gunning for them. If that was the case, then they would have to deal with that at some point then. And by deal with, he meant try to avoid until they actually knew what they were going up against. "This is why I tried to stay out of these kind of things." Creed muttered to himself as Rhett had returned. As the two werewolves talk, Creed hear Felicia say that she wanted top be the top alpha of New York, to which only one thing ran through his head Just leave me out of that fight. As the two continued to chat, another person had arrived. Once again Creed recognized them from back at the safe house thought the difference this time was this was the guy who'd slaughtered his "allies" right before them. It was made pretty clear that Cin plan to act on force to get what it was that he wanted. To which Creed started walking away and back into the Institute. "I'm going to check on Brianne." He would've said 'try not to kill each other' but it was probably to late for those kind of words. Having stepped foot inside, he headed down towards the room Brianne had gone in and opened the door, looking past Roxanne who was standing at the door. Seeing Brianne laying on the couch with Clarity next to her was well better than it could've been he guessed. "What's wrong with her?" It wasn't long before the first pair, Ash and Alarick, had been chosen to go see Gaia first. Then came another pair and once more until it was just him and Aethelrick that were left. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw him punch the ground. An act that he wasn't sure just how well that it would go given that Gaia could possibly know that feel that he did. "Maybe. Though I hope that that's not the case." Sien replied. The warlock clearly hear the disdain when reality television was mentioned. Sien wasn't sure just why Gaia would need to do something like the Romans did with Gladiators, but it was highly unlikely that he could understand the workings of someone like her in the first place. "So, how long until you think the others come back?" Valister turned his attention towards the vampire who had disappeared as quickly and quickly as he had appeared. Interesting. Without saying another word, the vampire got up and followed in the direction the other one had gone.
While Kalak was able to clash with his attack, the fact that he was aimed downward with his attack meant that he was still going through with his attack unless Reitan was somehow knocked out of the air. That wasn't the case for after his initial attack, the demi god had dodged out of the way which meant that Reitan's lance was stabbed into the ground. Normally getting it out of the ground would not take all that long to do so, but before he could do so Kalak had proceeded to attack him. He let go of his lance and stepped back as quickly as he could, barely avoiding the blade. Once his feet were planted on the ground, he reached out and grabbed his lance. Quickly removing it from the ground, he swung it towards Kalak.
Once he had gotten to the sick bay, it didn't take long for him to see that both Clarity and the weird ceiling guy, otherwise known as Sparky, already there. That didn't really mean all that much to him to be since he wasn't a fan of cramped spaces in general. Adding more people would only be making it worse for him. It wasn't long afterwards that he heard automated voice speaking to him. If his presence was being requested then his hands were pretty much times and he had to comply. That said, he was probably going to need some for of an excuse to justify where he was. Fortunately for him there was a small container of medicine that he could use. Pocketing the medicine, he went back towards the elevator and headed towards Deck 5. While Crow had been working on organizing his work space, it would appear that some other people had arrived in the sick by. He wasn't exactly sure just how long one of them had been here, but two had come down the ceiling. Odd when they could've just used the door like Aeros did, who taken a container filled with medicine used for headaches. Maybe he had one and Crow just didn't know. Well seeing as he had already left, Crow went back to what he was going before and listening to what was going on with the other three.
Hearing someone else call out Brianne's name, Creed looked towards the one that Felicia was speaking to. He'd recognized her at the one who opted to stay out of this, but she looked to be much worse for wear than she was the last time that he saw her. She seemed to be just as tense as she was before giving how she openly threatened Felicia, who just responded as calmly as she could. Probably for the best. As she ran off towards where Brianne was, Felicia questioned if he knew her. At first Creed simply shrugged. "I know that she's a shadow hunter, but beyond that I got nothing." Creed answered. Prior to all this he'd tried to stay out of any shadow hunter business, of course he had no idea that simply knowing one would get him involved. Sien was looking around at the scenery around them. He wasn't used to all this magic being around him at one time and taking into account that he could actually feel the magic made the experience all the better. When Gaia had started speaking to them, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that she had an empowering aura behind her voice, one that was easily felt behind each word that she spoke. After her words had sunk in, Sien's mind started to ponder what this 'charge' she had mentioned. Just what was it that she wanted in exchange for their various questions/requests. They were given the option to rest here until someone came to get them, maybe it would be a good idea to take that into consideration. Some of the others were doing the same so why not join them. "But what could she want from us as a charge?" Sien wondered aloud. Sien opts to stay. In all his years Valister never thought, let alone imagine, that he'd end up speaking to Gaia herself. It he were the kind of person to actually make a bucket list, this would probably be up there. Actually that probably wouldn't be up on the list on the first place. He'd either need some damn good foresight or sheer luck (which seems to be the factor in this case) for that to work. Naturally he was wondering what she meant by the charge, but he didn't feel like waiting around. Thus he opts to move on.
While Veera had given them a more in depth look into their reason for being here, Kruez continued to look around the village and all it's destruction. The more that he looked around, the more that he was reminded of his former home before it was presumably burned to the ground. An odd sense of reminisce washed over Kruez as he thought back to day. Still, he felt nothing towards most of the people that died there and there wasn't a reason that he should. They had condemn his father, the man who on numerous different occasions had defended them, solely for being a mage and when he was murdered, not a single person tried to help. He knew that not everyone fell into this category, for he did have a small amount if friends that wanted to help, but couldn't due to various means. They were the select few that part of him hoped had survived. Veera speaking to him had brought him out of this state of reminisce and back to reality. She had basically given them the choice of going Kaer or Oxenfurt, neither option he was all that willing to go for. "I choose to follow you." He wasn't going turn back now. At Talon's suggesting that he might've had friends or a job, Xross couldn't help but to laugh. Friend? To him all friends were were pawns to be used to your advantage or potential hindrance, that's why he never kept any pawns of his around for too long. "Nope, nope, nope and nope. Life is already such a bore, thus I do this to add a little spice to the mundane cycle. Though I suppose for you getting shot in the shoulder and locked in a dungeon for a night counts as well. By the way, this wouldn't be the first time I've taunted death and it probably won't be the last." A soldier into a director of an orphanage was quite the interesting change of work. Fortunately for Terra all Sweallow wanted to know with his question was the general idea and nothing too specific. Thus he wouldn't press her for more information that what she had told him. That said, this presented another issue for him. Seeing as how he had asked her from some information regarding her past, he thought it was only fitting for him to tell her to same. Thinking back on it, she was interested in his past with Katia so it possible that something else relating to his past would interest to. Likely not for the same reason, but we'll see. "If you'd like, I could tell something else about my past."
Having arrived at Pontarsfork, shortly after the two Witchers, the smell of the dead quickly swarm Kruez's senses. By no means was it a pleasant smell and unfortunately this wasn't the first time that he'd encountered this. Venturing further in Kruez had started to look around at the village, during which someone had called out to them. The woman didn't look like a witcher, but then again there wasn't a distinct notification on what witchers looked liked not taking into account their weapon choices. "We just got here so we don't know much." Kruez answered. "Surely there's someone else in your family that could take your place should you die, a sibling perhaps." Xross said, smirking. In truth he didn't know whether or not what he was saying was true in Talon's case, but judging from how he reacted to what he'd said earlier, he may have hit the nail on the head. The only way to know for certain was to keep pressing for information until he got something definite and that was exactly what he was going to do. Fortunately for Terra and Sweallow, the day that they had chosen to go out of was a nice one. There was a perfect balance between the amount of clouds that were in the sky and the amount of sky that they were able to see. As they were walking past a tree they could hear birds singing a cheerful tune. All and all, it truly was a lovely day. "Yes it is." Sweallow simply answered. Of course with the day being as it was, there wasn't much to really talk about regarding it, so Sweallow tried to think of another topic that they could speak about. "So what was it that you did before ran an orphanage?"
It wasn't all that long before Reitan was running at full sprint towards the battle against Kalak. Getting halfway there he saw a black disc flying towards him. Reitan quickly side stepped the disc, but it still had managed to nick his side. Fortunately it wasn't enough to hinder his progress. Closer and closer he got before finally he stuck his lance in the ground and used it to pole vault into the air. His trusted lance never left his hands as it was pulled into the air with him. With a quick twirl he aimed the point down towards Kalak. Imperial Lance First Stance - Amaterasu. The point was engulfed in flames as Reitan struck down towards the demi-god.
"I'm good, I prefer walking oppose to crawling through the ceilings."Aeros replied. Clarity sure was an odd one with her odd metaphors, but Aeros didn't judge. Instead he started walking down the hall and towards the elevator that lead to the medical bay. He wasn't so much curious as to what Clarity's business there was as to just going there on a whim. That and he was curious as to if that so called short cut was actually faster than taking the elevator.
"Gotcha, one black eye and some arm bruises." Breaking his arm would be the much easier option, but that would be considered too much fun, which he was instructed not to have. A shame, though probably for the best. "Don't worry, it'll be over soon." Having said that, Damian swung his fist towards Lexander's eye. ~One ass kicking later~ Now making their way through the portal were Damian and the now injured Lexander. As requested he was given a very noticeable black eye and some bruises on his arm. He made sure not to break it, but it would definitely hurt to move for awhile. "This convincing enough for ya, or should I add a few more touches?" Damian asked to no one in particular. The first person to answer it would probably be the one he'd listen to, which could mean anything for Lexander if he wasn't the first to answer.
Lumen was keeping quiet while the others discussed some sort of plan of action right now. He'd never kept up with politics and thus he didn't have much to say in regards to Rayyd being on the run after destroying the binding totem. That said he didn't that Rayyd should have to live his life on the run, despite barely knowing the guy. No one really deserved to live like that from his standpoint. With the exception of Laurenthinus, who was questioning Rayyd on who called himself a fool, Alice, who was being just as quiet as he was, and Conrand who had offered Rayyd a place to stay, the others seemed to agree that they should probably go looking for Shyra and Athel who'd yet to show up. "Should we back track in search for them?" Lumen aksed.
When Felicia asked how he was involved in all this, he briefly scratched the back of his head. "Well it's not really much compared to occupying this place nor pissing off the Inquisitor, but because I know Brianne I'm being targeted." It was a pretty stupid reason to be dragged into all the mess to be honest, but there wasn't much he could do about it. He clearly didn't have too much of a say in all this. Sien paid Nick no mind. He could care less if Alarick cared why he said what he said, what he wanted to know was what was ailing his friend so that he could do something to help. He didn't really expect Nick to understand how he worked, not many people did. Thus another reason why he generally distanced himself from other people. So there was no problem with him going off on ahead towards the safe house. That was when a man named Aethelrick appeared next to him, further urging him to head towards the safe house. "Sien." He simply said. ~One walk to the safehouse later~ Once everyone who was going had arrived at the safehouse, the portal had been formed. Staring into the darkness, he waited til after Masque and Valister had gone in before heading in himself. Upon stepping out of the other side of the portal, Valister took a look around at the vast jungle that surrounded them. A place like this was fitting for Lady Gaia. Valister didn't have much to ask the Ifrit who had appeared to be their guide,so he simply remained silent as he waited.
Now for someone such as Reitan, who due to his upbringing, wasn't the best at recognizing emotions. Thus Teliana's actions had left him quite confused. From the disappearance of her weapon, to her moving closer to him unarmed and her lowering her voice to a whisper, Reitan wasn't sure just what her plan was. While that was the case he feel something despite the lack of knowing what was going on. It was almost as if a part of him that he wasn't completely familiar with was trying to tell him how to react to this. By offering a chance to fight Kalak again, as well as whatever else she was doing that part of him still wasn't sure what was going on, it wasn't that hard, nor did it take that long for him to come to a decision. Thus he backed away from Teliana and lowered his lance. "If you say so." Pretty much agreeing to her terms, Reitan started to turn towards where Carissa had gone. In the process he'd caught a glimpse of Teliana's chest which caused his cheek to faintly flush. Not sure why that had happened, but the lancer wasn't sure why a lot of things were happening at the moment and he would be there awhile if he tried to stand there adn figure it all out. Thus once his back was facing Teliana, he ran towards the others.
No, that wasn't obvious. Aeros thought to himself, just as the blue skinned woman waved it off before revealing what she really wanted. The medical bay, yeah he could help her find it. "I'm Aeros." Before he could reach out his hand to shake hers, a tile had fallen from the ceiling and landed directly in front of Clarity. This prompted the ensign to look and and see the person who's head was poking out of the ceiling. "Uhh okay." Not having any idea on how to make on the mini wrench tale Clarity had told the guy in the ceiling. "Anyway I can take you to the med bay if you want."
Sien could do nothing but stand there and watch as Alarick punched the side of a library out of clear frustration, as well as directed some of that anger at him. The words hurt, but Sien knew not to take them to heart. Alarick clearly wasn't being himself right now and and lashing out that he did would not only be out of character for him, but wouldn't help out the situation at all. Instead Sien stood his ground and replied with. "I think that there is something wrong with you, that much was pretty damn clear when you left the Institute, but what I don't know is what's wrong. Hence why I asked." Sien replied. Unfortunately the warlock wasn't given any direct answer, instead the nephilim walked his way down an alley and placed up to runes behind him. Hearing his friends words, Sien sighed. There wasn't much that they could do if he wasn't going to let them help. "Come on, let's go." He said to Nick, heading in the direction of the safe house. While Valister had indeed been silent up until Morrigan had actively spoke to him, he was observing all that was going one before him. Part of him was unsure about the portal, it was a small part, but a part of him nonetheless. In all the yers that he's been alive, the main method of travel he used were either walking on his own two legs or flying through the air and nowadays he only did that on night were the sky was covered in clouds. "Yes I am, is it almost time to be off?" "Yeah, I meant here in the institute." Creed clarified, after she answered the question. So despite her being here for only a few hours, things had taken a couple of turns here and lead to well, the so called Inquisitor be after her now. He would asked just what exactly she did, but that had already been explained when Rhett was still out here so there was no need to ask again. Creed stood there for a bit, trying to think of something else to say when he decided he might as well introduce himself. "I'm Creed, by the way."
