Kala seemed to be pretty transfixed by Aster's horse, which was another thing that he wasn't sure why it was the case. Though he's seen horses before so that sight was nothing special to him. Kala on the other hand, this possibly was the firs time she's seen one thus explaining her reaction. And then came her question, in which Reitan didn't know how to respond. Partly because he didn't know how to answer that question himself in a satisfying manner, plus she technically did ask Timothy and thus there wasn't really much of a need for him to answer her. Unless she turned to ask him the same, then he would need to think of something.
Just as Gale was pretty much finished with his food, Veera had walked into the eating hall and asked for Tessa to follow her. Tessa was quick to respond by standing up and heading towards where Veera was standing. Gale took one more look at his plate before looking towards Adelina. "Thanks for the meal." He then got up from where he was sat and walked towards where Veera and Tessa were. Making sure to salute Veera when he got to where they were.
Fortunately only one spider seemed to noticed noticed them and it was defeated through the power of OVERKILL. Now they needed to get out of this narrow passage before anymore spiders woke up and noticed them. That said, that was exactly what he did.
When the knights stormed into the safe house, the first thing Sien did was to look around at the room. He didn't doubt that there were people here would could handle themselves in situation like this. Himself however, if a fight were to break out in this enclosed area, then he wasn't entirely sure sure what to do. Sure he had a weapon and knew how to use it, but it was a ranged weapon. As in, kinda hard to use when a knight is swinging his sword at you. With that in mind, he hoped that he would be able to get some distance so that he could actually help out should something go wrong.
After what was fifteen minutes of searching for scrap metal and arranging it so that it was a target, he was ready for phase two of his test. He'd set up two scrap metal targets with a fair amount of distance between them while he put on his winged back pack on. Sailus took in a deep breath before concentrating. The back pack had been designed to respond to his flame manipulation abilities and once all sixteen feathers had some form of flame for him to manipulate inside them, the separated from one another and started floating near him. First the eight feathers flew towards the first target at high speeds, each one accurately impaling it. As for the second one, he wanted to do something different. Thus when the other eight feather flew towards the second target to which the feathers started to cut it to pieces instead of impaling it. The second piece of scrap metal was left in pieces as both set of eight wings returned to him and connected to the backpack. Good, so far everything was going according to plan. His feathers worked with no problem thus now he was on to phase 3, flying. Sailus was both looking forward and partially worried about this. In percentage he was 90% looking forward to this and 10% worried. However his impulsive nature got the better of him and he started to make his way outside the warehouse and onto the roof. ~ Now standing on the far side of the of the warehouse roof, the moment of truth had come. Either he'd fly liked he'd planned to, glide before coming to what would hopefully be a gentle landing or come crashing down the moment after leaping. Fortunately he'd set up a bunch of discard mattresses for him to land on. He wasn't entirely sure just how soft of a landing that'd give him, but he wouldn't know until he tried. It started with one step forward, then another and another until he was jogging and that soon turned into a full on sprint which ended with Sailus jumping once he was at the edge of the warehouse. What happened next came as bit of a surprise to Sailus. With his mind being focused on actually jumping this time (and not just running off a roof like he had previous done) he'd forgotten to actually think about using his abilities and yet...he actually was flying though. All sixteen of his feathers had a small outline of flames as they appeared to flap though in the air. This had turned out better than he expected, first he was actually flying through the air and second it again looked like he had total control over his actions. Looks like we can call this experiment a complete success. Here's a better image of Sailus cause one exist now.
Aeros had stepped off the elevator and onto Deck 8 - The VR Room. There was no real reason behind him being here other than shear curiosity. The door leading into the VR are room was closed, but on the window next to the door, Aeros could see just what was going on inside and it wasn't at all what he was expecting. The glass was sounds proof (cause why not) so he couldn't hear anything that was going on inside the room, but he could see well enough. Digital recreations of people dying as well as being killed and in the middle of all this was Brianne.
The moment Kala had grabbed his hand with hers, despite it being covered by his jacket, he was left with little choice but to tag along with her as she guided them to the Quatermaster's tent. The various encounters along the way were not only interesting as they were unexpected, they had left Reitan unsure of what to say in response. Thus he gave Kala a shrug when she had asked her questioned while getting fitting. . One freak out from Kala and a quick thumbs up from Reitan when she was dressed later and they were now where Clarissa was. "Thanks." Reitan simply replied before turning his attention towards the transport. Their prisoner didn't seem like the talkative type so he wondered if they actually managed to get any information out of her. Upon hearing the soldier, Reitan looked away from the transport and towards Kala. "Um, how well can you handle yourself in a fight?" A valid question given what they would be up against.

His luck was bound of run out at some point and fortunately for Kel when it did run out, things didn't take a turn for the worst for him. Following the shadow blot's recent attack Kel had been struck twice and was fortunately still standing. D'daear wasn't so lucky in a since for he had gone down, only to be brought back up with the aide of a phoenix down. Another benefit was the sudden boost of strength that they all got following D'daear going down. So all and all, it worked out well for them. It would be a waste to not use this newfound strength, so Kel charged in and attacked. Kel attacked.
You'd think that after finally being able to sleep in a bed of his own choice instead of waking up in one due to passing out Zephyr would stay asleep to enjoy the feeling , but nope. Instead of lying in bed sleeping his worries away, Zephyr had gotten up and headed outside to get some fresh air. If he'd known more about where he was, or at least the layout he might've wandered around for a bit, but since that wasn't the case he choose the option that wouldn't potentially get him lost. Now unlike Zephyr, Kruez had no problem with walking around Kaer. Partially because this was his second time being here. The mage had two destinations in mind, the library and/or wherever Veceslav was at the moment. At the library he was simply curious as to what they had there as reading material while for Veceslav he wanted to take the witcher up on his offer to learn more about alchemy. While it may have been nothing more that a hobby to him, there was still a form of legitimate interest in the topic for him. The order he did this though depended on where he ended up.
Sien had silently followed behind Alarick as they entered the building. They went into the living room where they were greeted by a vast amount of people. Had Alarick contacted all these people here for the same reason? That question of his was soon answered when Alarick went into explanation as to what was going on. The feeling of unsureness that he had had yet to leave him even to this point and the fate of those captured certainly didn't help either. However there was one thing for certain that Sien was sure about. Alarick had helped him out numerous times and in return Sien helped him out. At the very core of this mess, this was just another one of those situations for him, thus there was really only one real option that he could pick. "You've helped me out before, and so I'll help you out." Alarick Lightwood, Creed had some idea on who he was, but prior til now he's never seen him in person. He knew his name solely because Brianne had given it to him. Outside that he'd asked a few random questions but nothing that would warrant knowing him for a long time. Creed continued to listen to what Alarick had said and it lead to him feeling somewhat bad for all the help Brianne's given him. Not like he could've foreseen any of this, nor was it like he was the only one here that knew her (probably), but he still couldn't help but to feel bad. "Normally I'd want to do this alone to avoid dragging other people into it, but since it's a bit late for that. I'll help." Having arrived at the safe house alongside Rhett, Valister listened to what was said by the two parties. He'd thought about what had been said by them and the three people who had spoken up. So far there were two people siding with the nephilim and one (assuming Ash counts) for the fairies. With a shrug he decided to even the odds. "As much fun as dealing with the Clave sounds, I'll help fairies in their quest."
Reitan wasn't sure just why Kala was so adamant against being touch, but he didn't press her for more information. "Alright, I won't touch you." Reitan answered. Not sure if there was anything he could do about other people touching her, least when he wasn't around anyway. So he didn't give much of a response to that. As the captain explained to Kala that she had to follow orders, the lancer wielder sighed. Once again there wasn't a whole lot he could do about this situation. The captain was right in the sense that they had to follow the orders they were given, but there were times that Reitan just wanted to ignore said orders.
The werewolf was pretty adamant about leaping out of the window, in fact he went ahead and did just that. This lead to a sigh from Valister. To be honest he wasn't sure just what was going on within the institute beyond what he was informed, so whether Rhett was right about there being someone here was up in the air. Regardless of the doubt however, he choose to believe the werewolf and having approached the window, jumped out of it. The vampire didn't need to roll to soften the landing as he basically floated down til he'd landed safely. "So then, where to now?" Having arrived outside the the mentioned building, Creed took one more look at his phone and another at a nearby street signs. The two addresses matched so he was in the right place. Maybe now he would be able to get some answers as to why he was being hunted by this Clave person, Venturing into the building, he was struck by an interesting sight. There were four other people here besides himself, one of which was holding a knife in the directions of two others. Creed may not have known was usually went on in safe houses, but this kinda goes against the 'safe' part of safe house. "Easy there, no clue what's going on, but I don't think we need to start knifing people."
When the plate was placed down in front of him, it didn't take long for Gale to notice the paper under it. In fact it was pretty much instant that he noticed it. Gale slipped the piece of paper out from under the plate and read the note. When he was done reading it, he put the paper in his pocket. He wasn't exactly sure how to react to all that. Tessa liking him was one thing, but basically asking her out and having something set up were entirely different matters. That aside, both Tessa and Zack seemed all for him joining. "Well then I'll join then." Gale said as he started to eat his meal.
You're forgetting someone
As to be expected, one should never trust RNG. The spiders had noticed them and now they pretty much had no choice but to fight. Lumen drew his weapon and before he could do anything, rock started to fly. Some rocks flew towards the spider that they were fighting, other flew towards Lumen. Once more he wasn't sure what it was she was planning on doing but regardless of however many rocks were hitting him, he attacked. It there was ever a way to put a man on the spot, what Ana did would be it, to some extent anyway. If not for Veceslav telling them where the rooms were he wouldn't know where to begin and now he just has some idea on where to begin. Still didn't change that he wasn't sure just what he was supposed to be looking for in terms of a room for them. Nevertheless, standing around wasn't going to solve anything. "Sure." With that he went to where the rooms where and started looking around. Sweallow thought about Terra's question. While he certainly wasn't going to allow her to overexert herself while she was under his care, there wasn't anything wrong with simply going for a walk. "That's fine, there's nothing wrong with going out and getting some fresh air." "I'll gladly keep that in mind." Kruez said. In truth he'd forgotten about the offer Veceslav had made on alchemy. Since that was followed by him going to talk privately with Veera, Kruez went to go find a spare room and sleep. So long story short, Xross basically was amused by the fact that Talon had gotten himself arrested, in fact he even started to laugh out loud. Though when Kyle decided to go all kamikaze, he did what any normal, not drunk/unconscious, person would do and GTFO'D.
There's a couple of reasons that Sien likes to stay inform about what's going on, well the things that he can actually find information on. First because he's sorta a curious guy and this helps in some way. Another reason was so that he knows how to react to certain things. There were exceptions to this, like the current situations right now. No amount of information that he could've known would've made reacting to everything that just transpired any easier. Something was about to go down, that much was for certain. "Good luck." He simply said to Alarick. Valister sat there for a bit as Brianne dropped off the werewolf before leaving them. It was true the most vampire and werewolves didn't get along, he's both seen enough vampires slain and well as slain some werewolves himself to know that truth. However over the years, the desire to start trouble with the werewolves died down and thus he simply had no reason to start anything with them now. "Greetings." Valister replied. He listened to what Rhett had said, including the suggestion to jump out the window. That was when he spoke again. "You don't look in any shape to be leaping from windows either, let alone fights." He got up from the bed provided in the room and walked towards the door. "Why not just go out the front door?" You are going to be hunted by the Clave. There is a safe house at this address. 445 Silver Avenue N New York, New York We meet there. Trust no one. Well this was certainly unexpected. He recognized the number the text had come from for Brianne had given it to him in the event he needed assistance and couldn't reach her. He'd appropriated the gesture and fortunately a situation for him to need to call said number never arose. Yet now here a text was a text. This caused a fair amount of questions for Creed, ones that he'd hoped would get answered at the supposed meeting place. Like why was he suddenly being hunted out of the nowhere. Creed made sure not to do anything that would attract unneeded attention to himself. His phone was placed back into his pocket and he headed towards the address which fortunately wasn't all that far away from where he was now.
A simple shrug was made as a first response to the Prince's words. He knew that his weapon of choice had some disadvantages, especially against other weapons, but for the most part he'd managed to work past said disadvantages and handle himself well. "Long story short, my teacher was a lance user and thus wanted me to use the same weapon as him. I have tried out other weapons, but this seems to suit me the best." Then Kala had called him quiet, which was true for the most part. "It's just something that I've gotten used to being." There really wasn't much else of a reason behind it. Zahariel had started to walk off back to his quarters as the prince asked him about him. "Zahariel's one of the exceptions I mentioned earlier." Though compared to the one he had in mind at first, he's the lesser of two evils. "He means well, least I assume he does." Kinda hard to tell with that guy. As for their ideology, he hadn't really paid much attention to it. "Well we're a bunch of misfits with a common goal/enemy so I'm not sure if we share the same ideology, but we likely want the same end results to some extent." Hopefully that would be a sufficient answer to his questions. He looked to Kala, who was sticking close to Timothy. "You can use my jacket if you want." He unzipped it and took it off, before holding it out towards her. Reitan didn't really mind giving away his jacket since he had on a shirt under it anyway.
Despite not truly knowing what was going on, even if Alarick hadn't looked over to him Sien would've remained quiet. This certainly didn't sound like anything that he should be hearing and the fact that he was meant that there could've been some form of punishment if he was found. Which is why it certainly was a good thing that he'd hadn't been noticed. Elsewhere in the streets of New York. Creed walked down said streets with his pockets as well as his hood up. Such an appearance would normally warrant some stray glances and other such attention, but fortunately for Creed, it actually did the opposite. Well cept for when he was in buildings, in those cases he simply just had to put his hood down and all that unneeded attention was put away before it could get out of hand. As for what he was up to now, he was currently on his way back to his makeshift home. There wasn't much waiting for him there except a place to sleep and some food. Only the essential that he needed to survive.
