With this being the second time Zephyr's ever gone through a portal, he still wasn't quite sure just what to expect going through it. However when he opened his eyes and found himself still with Ana, Vyle and Veera he felt relived. However when he heard Veera shouting, he noticed that the number of people around had gotten smaller by a bit. Then some girl dressed in what looked to be bed sheets appeared and addressed Veera. Just where exactly was he now? While he was wonder this, Ana revealed that the others could've ended up anywhere due to the portal. Man he really did get lucky, all things considering the two times he went through a portal. If only it were that simple. Regardless of him tagging along with Tatiana because he was bored or wandering around someplace else, the cold truth was that there wasn't much of a life left for Kruez to live. There was only one thing that he absolutely had to do, but there was a lot of wandering around to accomplish this goal since he had no leads to go off of. Thus when Tatiana ran off to greet Veera and whoever else and arrived, he simply stood there and waited the to walk into the hall. Xross had indeed chosen to follow behind Talon, all the way to the point where he'd gotten shot at. At which he simply stepped out of the line of fire and said. "If this is your way of gathering information, you really do suck at it." While this went on, Xross learned something interesting. The fact that Talon was a lord. Now while that mean very, and I mean very, little to him Xross couldn't help but to smirk at bit at this. He'd always wanted to mess with someone of high power and now was his golden chance. Well not now as in right now cause he was being shot at, but afterwards was fair game. Turning to Kyle, he decided to say something to him. "I have no idea who you are, but good job on shooting a noble." A thumbs up accompanied his words to Kyle. Sweallow wasn't expecting to be handed a picture at all, in fact he'd just assumed that Terra was still drawing pictures for the kids she had lost. Instead he was handed a drawing that appeared to represent Katia well. The bold lettering, the animal, flowers, all of it was just perfect. "You have my thanks." He would to find a place to keep this that would preseve it's beauty, but for now he walked over to his desk and placed it down. Hearing Terra, he let out a chuckle before replying. "Yes, yes it does."
With the sudden depression moment over, there was nothing left for Lumen and Alice to do but to sneak down the narrow path and hope that RNG didn't screw them over and that's exactly what they did.
Despite the the lack of change in his facial expression, Reitan started to get lost in his thoughts upon hearing him mentioning a home. Not once has Reitan felt at home since and to be honest, he barely noticed for he didn't even know what home was suppose to feel like. Maybe that was why he didn't know what his teacher's last words to him meant. Hearing the sound of a ding brought him from these thoughts and back to reality, to which he saw the open hatch in which Timothy had made the tea as well it being handed to him. "Thanks." Reitan took the cup from the robot and then a sip of the tea. It was good, even if he had no idea what kind of tea it was. (it's Earl Grey). "There's not really a special reason behind me being called lancer, it's just that my weapon of choice is a lance." Reitan explained to Kala as best as he could. not that there was anything that could've been left out of his explanation.
"From the looks of things, we're going to be for a bit anyway." Kel said. Enemies these big don't tend to go down easily, especially if there were any tricks that it was keeping hidden from them that could affect the pace of the battle. So far nothing like that had happened and instead of worrying about that possibility, Kel ran in and attacked with his keyblade. Kel attacked.
Chrono simply nodded at what Zack had said, taking another bite of the omelet. He never once thought of Adelina as cruel, a little overbearing sure, but as Zack had said, she was likely just being protective. It wasn't liek she was taking away the spatula or whatever cooking utensil he was using at the time from him, showing him how it was suppose to be done, then giving it back to him. That would get a bit annoying. When he heard Tessa speak to him, Gale had already taken a seat on the other side of her. "Maybe someone could help you out." Chrono offered. Well it wasn't like he could actually do it since he was pretty busy here at the kitchen. "I could help if you want, I don't have much to do anyway." Gale said once he'd gotten adjusted in his seat. It was true that he didn't have much to do, but that wasn't the only reason behind his offering to help Tessa. Part of him actually wanted to spend time with her some more since the last time they did was when they went back to the walled city and at the time he was more focused on finding Veera and Drake as well as keeping her safe.

Valister may not have doubted Brianne, actually hearing her tell him what she knew was a completely different story. It reinforced that notion that she knew little on what was currently going on. He waited patiently while she handed Jennifer her number before followed behind her past the barrier rune. Valister was briefly introduced to a girl named Roxanne, though she only spoke to Brianne before going off somewhere. Having been lead to the guest room of sorts, Valister walked in and looked around. It did look comfortable, that was clear. "My pleasure." Once Brianne had left, he took a seat on the bed and waited.
Hearing his named mentioned Zephyr gave a quick wave in response before returning to his thought, though he wasn't exactly thinking of much to be honest. He tried not to think about his encounter with the witch hunters as Ana explained what he went through. However, when she mentioned the mage that he fought. The only thing that came to mind was the fight in the alley before basically one crap situation after another. "His name was Solomon? What else do you know about him?" As per his nature, a part of Zephyr wanted some payback against him and knowledge was power as they say (and in some cases, proven) so any information that he could get would be helpful. "I'm ready as well." He wasn't quite sure if this needed to be said, given that he'd agreed to travel with them prior to arriving at the Witcher Camp, but it never hurt to make one's point clear. Kruez was indeed still behind Tatiana as they ventured furthered into the hall. He was partially surprised by the lack of response that they had been given. So either nobody was here or they were hiding. Taking into account where they were, the latter option was highly unlikely thus he went with the no one was here assumption. That said, or thought, that didn't mean that no one was in the entire area all together, just not in the immediate area. While Xross listened to what Talon had to say with fading interest, while dodging any stray object turned projectile due to the drunken fight that was still going on. Xross had tuned out most of what Talon had said after he said he didn't have much to do. "So you choose to come to this bar, clearly your information gathering needs work." Despite the fact that the current fight going on was completely his fault, he choose to ignore that small detail. The moment Talon turned to leave, Xross looked at the bartender cowering under his bar and motioned the man who was just knocked unconscious next to him. "Before he was knocked out, he said that he'd cover the damages." Then he got up from where he was sitting and followed behind Talon. "Since your information gathering needs works, I'll do you a favor and help you. For a price of course." Sweallow put his hand to his chin as he recalled more about Katia. "While she certainly was braver and bolder than most girls, she still held a fondness for flowers and animals." The Sweallow thought back on how Katia was, the more he found himself reminiscing on the time that he spent either with or around her.
Nick's reckless driving wasn't at all helping with his discomfort with being in a car. In fact at this point he was more nervous about that then the fact that he was still sitting next to Masque. Alarick criticizing his driving didn't help either. If it also almost as if all of this was just a build up for something to hap - *CRASH* Welp, there was that answer. Sien had never been tenser than he was the moment Nick crashed into the random cyclist. His hands were tightly gripped around the seatbelt as he slowly started to calm his nerves. Breathe in...breathe out and repeat. Sien had eventually calmed himself just in time to hear Masque say something. He figured that Nick had gone out to address the incident. "Well this is your punishment for what you've done." This of course coming from the guy who's just going along with all this. Having followed Brianne through the city Magick's never seen before, Valister stopped at the steps of the Institute behind Brianne. He took in the two options that she given them and gave them both careful consideration. Sticking close to them would be an easy way to gather more information, but given how he wouldn't be able to go anywhere of his own free will, that kinda hindered that idea despite the likely just reason behind it. As for getting information now, they could negotiate some form of compensation for her help later. "I choose that we talk here."
Well, that depressing moment came out of nowhere. Like that escalated quickly. That had left Lumen speechless for a couple of second while he tried figure out what exactly to say. He had no idea what anyone had been saying her, mainly cause he was asleep for most of it. "Well, you haven't really done much to actually hold me back, I mean the whole 'moving the cave' thing was a bit extreme, but it would've been a good idea if it had worked." Speaking of good idea that worked, hopefully what Lumen had said would break the depressed funk Alice was in.
Well seeing as how Valister had already agreed to follow Brianne to the institute, he wasted no time in following behind her. Whether any of the other two people there followed as well was of no concern to him, but if they did choose to follow then he would certainly listen to what they had to said to see if anything else that caught his interest was spoken.
Hearing Zack's offer to take any extra supplies that he needed, he quietly walked away and towards the blacksmith. Right now the main thing that he wanted was a sword. One of the thing's that he's learned from the recent events is that he can't always rely on his magic and the only other non magical weapon that he had was his fist. Fist weren't the best weapon of choice in most cases. A sword on the other hand would be much more helpful. Finding himself in front of the blacksmith's shop, Zephyr started to look around for any weapon that stuck out to him. There certainly was a lot of weapons to go through, most of which were sword, but there were still a fair amount to go through. His eyes focused on mainly the swords when he found one that stuck out to him. Mainly because compared to the other weapons they were skinnier by fair. he focused on the pair of weapons. With a finger outstretched, he pointed towards the pair of weapons, having made his choice. Before the weapons were actually handed to him, the blacksmith as how was he going to pay for them. To which Zephyr responded with "Zack sent me". This had fortunately managed for him to get the weapons for free. The two weapons were placed on his back as he regrouped with Ana and Vyle before they left. It wasn't all that long before they had arrived at the Witcher camp, there only being a few there that he actually remembered, the rest he had no idea who they were. Normally Kruez would've added some sort of smart remark to Tatiana's asking if anyone was around, but this time there wasn't much that he could add. Unless her voice was too soft to be heard, anyone actually there should hopefully respond and they would likely have to deal with the onslaught of questions that followed. That was a bridge to be crossed when they got to it however. Just as Sweallow had figured, more questioned followed his initial response to Terra, thus once he had collected all of his thought on Katia, he spoke. "She was never one to hesitate when it came to acting on her feelings or her beliefs. Regardless of what others may say or thought about her, if she believed it to be right, then she did it." That trait of hers was what had inspired Sweallow to act on his owns beliefs as well. "Yes, in fact I do find entertainment from watching drunken idiots fight each other." Xross replied to the hooded man. It was pretty easy to tell that this man wasn't drunk, unless he was a drunk that could keep his reflexives similar to when he was sober. "As for your fighting club suggestions, I've sorta banned from a few of them. Something about rigging the already fixed fights in my favor as well as antagonizes the fighters." Though he did make a killing in the time he did that. Oh those were fun, thus watching these drunks would be the closest he could get to that. "Now a question for you, surely you have something better than questioning a random patron at a bar, so what is it?"
Once Adelina had finished making the breakfast, Chrono neatly put down what he had gathered and made his way over to the where the plates were set. The omelets and hasbrowns smelled good. "It's pretty good, still need to get used to being in this kitchen though." Fortunately it wasn't a hard adjustment to make. Least when he was either by himself or around Adelina supervision. Cooking for other people, that was a different story. Speaking of which, someone else had used arrived in the kitchen. Gale had just arrived and the first thing he saw was Tessa, Adelina, Zack and Chrono eating. Well he was right about coming here to eat, that was for certain. "Um, hope I'm not interrupting anything." Gale said. A reward. There wasn't much that he actually wanted for himself. If anything, the only thing that he could think of wanting benefited his family more than himself. Which was part of the reason behind him keeping that to himself. He didn't want to share any details about them if he could avoid it. It made it easier to keep these two worlds of his separated. Still he was listening and actually had something to add on Wilkins suggestions. "We don't actually have to hurt you. So long as you're not a crap actor, we can just dress you up as if you're injured." And if he was still against that, then they could try to pose as merchants.
At last Sailus had finished the sixteenth "feather" and instead of going on to step two which was the testing portion of things, he was chewing on his thumb. He'd gone ahead and attached the "feathers" to the mechanical wings that he made and was now currently staring at them. They had been successfully built and he knew for a fact that he could wear them on his back. So there was only one thing left to test, their combat abilities. Sailus removed his thumb for his mouth and got up from his seat. He looked towards the pile of scrap metal for something he could use as a training dummy. Hopefully he could find enough for a couple of them.
And Lumen stood there, waiting for there to be any indication of the cave moving in any way shape or form. Eventually it became clear that nothing was going to happened, thus he spoke up once more. "Maybe we should try sneaking by all of them then."
Name: Crow Sex: Male Age: 20 Species: Varuna Appearance: Caw-Caw Rank: Ensign Division: Medical Bio: Crow was never one for fighting, mostly because of his lack of physical ability when it comes to that sort of thing. Medical treatment and other such things were much more his style. Thus when given the chance to join the corps, he decided to do so in the medical division. Other: He doesn't know why his name is Crow despite his webbed feet. Name: Aeros Rivida Sex: Male Age: 19 Species: Maraku/Peras Appearance: Koro-sensei Rank: Ensign Division: Pilot Bio: Aeros is a risk taker and while that wasn't the best of traits for someone who is a pilot, Aeros also is pretty lucky which usually only shows at certain times. Things on his home world were getting too mundane for him and thus wanted to try out something new. Not that he had a probelm with how peaceful things were there. Eventually he decided to join the Corps. He'd heard various stories about them and the tales that he had heard were good enough to catch his interest. Other: Aeros usually keeps his wings hidden.
Sien followed behind Nick as they headed towards Masque's car. Upon taking his seat in the back, another wave of uneasiness washed over him. Once again due to this being a means of travel he was less comfortable with, but also because he was sitting next to the killer. Fortunately the fact that he was more so focused with his drawing made this a little bit better. "I've been better." The warlock simply replied. "I see." It wasn't much of a surprise that he wasn't able to get any information from Shadowhunters regarding what they were going, but what Brianne said next was different. He'd only known about Grayson Keller being no more from the stray wolf that he had interrogated prior to entering the courtyard. Plus the invitation to the institute was a good idea as well. "I accept your offer."
New recruits? Well that wasn't expected, but there wasn't much reason for them to decline them. The robot announced himself as Timothy, a pretty normal name for a robot. The other girl, Kala, seemed to be nervous about the whole thing. "Well most of us here aren't all that bad to be around." There were some exceptions, well one exception, but they didn't need to know that right now. He was probably preoccupied with the prisoner. "Sure, I'll have some tea."
"That's an interesting idea, but how exactly do you plan on moving the entire cave?" Lumen questioned. Maybe she actually had some way of doing it that he wasn't aware of. He was asleep during the one time he would've been able to see what kind of magic she has. Other than her healing water.
Whatever Masque had said clearly pushed the buttons on Cid since he outright slashed his face. The warlock not being harmed had gone clear out the window. Sien gave Alarick a quick nod. "It's fine." He didn't doubt that Alarick would give him the information that he was hoping for, first though they would have to deal with Maqsue. "Well Ms. Brianne, I am Valister Cron, a simple vampire just who just happened to stumble upon this and thus am curious as to what had happened. Thus my next question, what can you tell me about what happened here?" Valister asked. He had little to no intention on getting on the bad side of the shadow hunters nor was there any benefits to doing so. Thus he was clearly trying to show them that he wasn't a threat to them. He couldn't say the same for the girl who had decided to follow him. What she wanted to do was completely up to her.
