As Lumen waited for a response from Kala, he got the feeling that something was about to happen. Like a running gag was slowly being formed and he was at the very center of said gag. Whether it was connected to the odd feeling or not was unknown, but something else had fallen out of nowhere and landed right on top of Lumen. "I'm okay." That was all Lumen had to say at first becuase he was just as confused as the explanation the girl had given him. He'd gotten back onto his feet shortly after being healed by the girl. "You're not really interrupting anything." Least he didn't think she was,Kala hadn't answered his question yet so all they were doing right now was just standing around. Seeing how the girl walked away was a bit concerning for him. "Are you okay?" Maybe she should've heal herself as opposed to healing him.
Zephyr was still lamenting over his failure to make a portal to hear just what Ana had said clearly. However when she had shoved him through the portal that she'd made for them to escape the area. Realizing this, he looked towards her to see that she was now slumped on the ground. Making that portal must've taken the rest of her strength out of her. In an attempt to get on his feet, Zephyr had placed unneeded pressure onto his injured arm, resulting in a sharp pain. He needed to do something about this wound, least temporarily anyway. Fortunately his sleeve was ripped around where the wound, thus he went ahead and ripped that sleeve off and wrapped it around the injury (something that wasn't exactly easy to do with just one hand). When that was taken care of, Zephyr did a quick test to see how much movability his arm had. He moved his arm to the left, the right, up and down before concluding his test. He was able to bend his arm slightly but not alot. Fortunately be was able to bend it enough to be able to pick Ana up. As carefully as he could, he crouched down, moved Ana so that he was resting on his back before standing up and heading off in some random direction (towards the camp).

BACKSTORY For the first 12 years for Sailus life thing were pretty normal all things considering. Though despite just how normal it was, there were still issue within the home, namely with the expectation his parents had set for him. They had wanted him to do thing that were pretty much impossible for anyone, let alone a 12-year-old boy. They were like that for his entire life, though he tried his best to put up with it. His turning 13 was when they finally gave up on him meeting their ridiculously expectations and pretty much kicked him out. For some this probably would’ve been their end if they were in the same situation. No other relative to turn to nor shelter. For Sailus though, he was lucky for his Spyrix abilities had awoken. The ability to manipulate flames, preexisting flames, but flame none the less. It didn’t matter how small the flame was, he could make it large enough to keep him warm during the night. Eventually he found his way to abandon warehouse in which he slowly turned into his new home. Which was fortunate for there were still plenty of machines left behind that were even in working conditions. Which allowed him to mess around with them when he wasn’t out looking for something to eat or materials.

One aforementioned carriage ride to the cave later, Lumen was standing at the mouth of the cave. "So are we going to stand here waiting or are we going to venture in?" Lumen questioned. It wasn't out of anticipation or excitement or something along those lines. He just didn't see the point of standing out here.
With it basically being agreed upon that he would help her find her friend, Lumen did the most fitting thing in this situation. That was to take Kala's hand and shake it. "Do you know where the last place you saw your friend at?" If they were going to start anywhere, that should be a good place to start.
Lumen and Alice hadn't even gotten that far before a carraige had stopped in front of them. Shyra was the one in said carriage and the first thing she did was to ask if he knew were the others were. First he shook his head, for he didn't know where most of the others were, then he motioned towards Alice. "Alice said she saw Conrad and Tessa with some spider guy on a giant spider." As for Kara and Laurentinus , he had no idea what so ever on where they were.
"Meet me at the Institute. Quid pro quo." Sieg read the message that had appear on his phone. "The Institute huh." It wasn't a place that he often went to unless he had business there. Fortunately he still remembered the way there despite the distance between his last visit and now. The mage proceeded to close his phone and place it back into his pocket. Now he headed started to make his way off the building and towards the institute.
"Um okay." Lumen said. A normal person would've given this a bit more thought, but Lumen say this as a way to avoid getting caught by someone and being dragged, sometimes literally, off to practice. With that thought in mind, Lumen didn't quite care that he knew next to nothing on what her friend looked like or any helpful information. "I may be young, but monsters don't scare me." With a quick fist pound against his own chest, he proudly declared that fact. Unaware what he was getting himself into at all.
Zephyr continued to hold onto his injured arm, hoping to limit just how much blood seeped out, as Ana crawled her way over to him. She asked him if he could make a portal. Zephyr did know what she was referring to, for Terra had used it to escape while they were fighting in the alley, but he didn't have very much confidence in his abilities to do so. Any for of magic other then the two he currently used (One his was able to use since pretty much his birth and the other harsh training) he was barely able to use. Thus he was having some severe doubts on his being able to do so, but he wouldn't tell Teliana that. "I can try." Not knowing where to begin in terms of making a portal, he started by holding out his good hand out in front of him. He could feel the blood run down his arm, but he choose to ignore it, there were others things for him to focus on. With his other hand outstretched in front of him, he focused all his magical energy (or whatever the witcher term for this is) on making a portal. He sat there, eyes closed, focusing on the task at hand til he was he felt like he'd used enough energy. Opening his eyes, he'd hoped to see a portal in front of them. Instead, there was nothing. "No idea, but away from all the fuss." Kruez answered as he walked out the other end of the portal. They had arrived on some streets, fortunately no one was out right now so he wouldn't have to explain why he was carrying around a naked girl with only bed sheets covering her. First order of business was to find someplace to stay. Thus Kruez started to walk around wherever he was. We'll just say (TBA once place is found/suggested). Sweallow gave a simple nod at Terra's word. She spoke the true, too many people in this world were all to willing to take the life of another living being instead of helping to save it. It truly was a shame, but sitting around complaining wouldn't solve anything. Taking actions and doing something would, thus here he is now. Placing his hand on his chin, he thought about what he had around to quell Terra's request to do something. Gewnt cards were something he had in the past, but he held no recolations as to where they were now. Pen and paper on the other hand, he knew exactly where they were. On his desk in his study. "I do have pen and paper. Allow me to go get them." He got up from where he was seat and walked towards his study. Sweallow's eyes scanned the room before resting on a small pile of paper and a pen next to him. He grabbed a couple of sheets as well as the pen before heading back towards the main room. "Here, one pen and some sheets of paper."

Things had certainly taken a turn on the interesting as the voices words still stuck around in Sieg's head. Seems like this night was going to be filled with things that caught his curiosity. More questions were being added to his head and there were still things he wanted to know and there was only one thing that he could do at a time like this. Sieg reached into his pocket and pull out his cellphone. Navigating his way to his contacts, he scrolled down til he reached the name Aldarick and pressed the call button. The phone rang the standard amount of time before it went to voicemail. Normally one would leave a voicemail, but Sieg didn't do that. Instead he simply sent a text telling that he had some questions and asked where should they meet.
With his shoulder charge not working, Zephyr ended up losing his footing and falling to the ground. This once again left him open to being attacked, which the assailant quickly took. The blade slash across his arm, leaving a gash for him to deal with later. The pain was sharp and lingered, but Zephyr ignored it as best as he could for the were much more pressing matters to deal with. Like the blade that was going to stab through him. In an instant a brief flicking of blue sparks appeared in his good hand, but the assailant had went out the window. It was lucky that he was currently alive, in pain because of the cut on his arm, but alive. "Well as you can see, I am fairly knowledgeable in the medical arts. I'm not a fan of senseless battle and decided to put my talents towards helping lives instead of ending them." Sweallow paused to reach for a nearby book and started flipping through a couple of pages before stopping. "That being the case, I am able to defend myself and others if needed." Unlike Tatiana, Kruez was awake after their little fun. Admittedly part of him did want to just leave, but he could still hear the sounds of conflict going on outside, thus it probably wasn't the best idea to just casually walk out. Nor at this point would it be best to stick around here, not that they had any real reason to do so. Since he couldn't just outright walk out the door, he started to think about alternate means of transport. It wasn't long before he thought back to when Evander had use a portal to take them to that castle. He did wonder if he could do the same thing as well and now was as good as anytime to figure out. First he put his clothes back on, the he walked towards the far wall and pressed his right arm against it. Basically imitating what he recalled Evander doing, he waited til a portal of his own making had appeared. It appeared that he could make one as well, that was good to know. Now all that was left was to decide what to do about Tatiana. He could listen to the part of him that wanted to outright leave her, or he could take her with him to wherever this portal would take them. "Not sure how you're brother would feel about me having sex with you, but he'd probably be pissed if I just left you here." Having made a decision, Kruez made his way over to the sleeping Tatiana. Making sure that the covers still covered her naked form, he picked her up and walked through the portal.
"What shop keep are you trying to get me to distract?" Veilen asked. he had a hunch as to what she meant by 'peruse his wares' and part of him didn't want to be a part of it. But she probably was his best way of getting around for the moment, plus his only way to avoid the void of not having anything to do, so he could at least hear her out.
Well curiosity was a valid reason to be asking a bunch of questions, especially if you just fell from out of nowhere and ended up in unfamiliar land. Keeping that in mind, Lumen started to be less cautious around not, though not completely lowering his guard. There was no reason for him to do that at this point. "Well I do nap a fair amount of the time, I'm really not expecting to be given any wishes, let alone have them granted." The thought never once crossed his mind til she mentioned it. "Other wise I train I guess."
Alice seemed pretty serious about seeing Tessa and Conrad being carried off by some spider guy. To serious for it to just be written off as her 'bumping her head'. Lumen sighed. he couldn't very well just let her go off on her own, well he could but it'd go against most of what he learned (and actually remembered) during his training. "Alright, I'll believe you." That was all he could do at this point.
Taking into accounting all the giant, monstrous thing Kel had seen as of recently, he wasn't all that phased by the appearance of the shadow blot. It looked menacing and nothing that should be taken lightly, so it still had that going for it. "Only one perishing in this fight will be you." Kel declared in response to the blot. In return, the shadow released an attack that did a fair bit of damage to them. Hikaru and D'daear were injured, Karina had gone done (which she'll probably be pissed about when she get's up) and Steel had dodge. While that wasn't much of a surprise, it was surprising when Kel himself had dodge it. Luck must've been on his side for once. Kel then summoned forth his keyblade Starseeker. "Given it's appearance, it'd be a letdown if we didn't." The attack that the shadow used appeared to be pretty powerful, so why not fight fire with fire. Moving his keyblade to his side, Kel concentrated on it. He focused as much energy as he could before releasing it all in a strength and cherry blossom fueled attacked sent towards the shadow blot. Kel used Zantesuken.
Zephyr was fairly quiet as he watched Teliana pick at the lock while listening to her. Doing kinda made him realize just how little he actually knew in comparison to her. She'd said she'd live a fraction of a mage's life time, which was already an impressive feat to Zephyr who didn't know the average lifespan mages had, and there was a lot she knew compared to him. Most 18 year old would think that they knew everything, but given the recent series of events that Zephyr has been through, it was pretty damn clear that there was a lot he still didn't know. The moment the cuffs were off of his wrist, Zephyr started to rub the burn marks that had formed where the cuffs were. "Thanks." It wasn't long afterward before he was able to feel his magic once more, a feeling he'd missed. Now he wouldn't be dead weight to anyone and could at least fight back and it would be soon that he'd have his chance to prove that. Once more Zephyr was left with little time to respond to what had happened around him, but he did managed to notice the key things. Something had exploded in the room, Teliana had pushed him out of the way, once again saving him and someone was currently attacking Teliana. Now if there was every a time for Zephyr to tried to repay the debt he pretty much owes Teliana, it would be now. Despite still being able to use his magic, he wasn't going to with Teliana that close. So the mage scrambled to his feet and used his shoulder to tackle the assailant off of Teliana. Zephyr wasn't sure just how effective his tackle was, but at the time he was more concerned with helping Teliana out.
"Um, okay." If she was from darkness like she claimed, then she was pretty out of place here. Which made Lumen curious as to how she ended up here in the first place. "Well there's a training ground and taking in the sights." That was at least what he did while he was here anyway. Lumen made his way off of the bench so that he was now standing before the stranger. "Why all the questions?" While some of the things that she had asked did have answered, Lumen wasn't so certain that he should answer some of them. He may have been a laid back and damn near lazy at times, but there was some form of caution within his body and right now while he wasn't being the most cautious thing in the world, he was at least trying to get some answers out of the newcomer.
