Veilen + Fire Dash = His attack for this turn
"It's good that you know what your goal it, it also means that you know that you failed at it." Xross replied, giving Xander a quick yet mocking clap. Some crazy scythe chick had appeared and started to fight Dane, but that was of no concern of his. He turned his attention back to Xander, who had gone on the defensive and stood in front of Alisia. "Oh really now, then how about I take another step forward." Xross started by taking a step towards Xander. It had been awhile since he's had this much fun antagonizing someone. in fact, the last person who he took this much joy in toying with was Dmitri and now he was an idiot. Comparing the two Xander was better, not by much, but still better.
Zeal couldn't help but to stifle a laugh at Aedion remark to Neoph's plan. it was good for a quick laugh. That was followed by a new organization of the groups, this time it was provided by Hunter. Once again he had no problem with the group cause he knew very little about the people to like or dislike them. He'd chosen to ignore Hunter's mute remark and consider which assignment to go one. Naturally he'd prefer to go on the recon mission, but he didn't know just how well the new team would work on a mission that required stealth. Namely Hunter. "This group could go on recon while the other interrogates." He'd recalled what Aedion said about sending the nicer, more approachable people on to the guard and from his view point most of them seemed that way. Well all but one. So it appeared that both groups would have a black sheep in their missions.
So Sora was about to leave the starting area when someone had called out his username name. He turned towards the direction that he heard the voice come from and saw a player with the username < Il Matto>. He was trying to I guess buy his assistance with the <<Weapon Evolution Potion>> that they all were given. Well no one said that have two of them would hurt. "That depends on the wager." He simply said. Okay so Chrono was one of the many people who had gone to the Goblin Camp for some early game grinding. At about level three he decided to summon the summon that he was given *insert summon chant and epic Mordred battle here*. He'd defeated his summon and as per the rules Mordred would follow him as a servant. Huzzah. Now back to level grinding. Now level 5 it was time to fight the boss and servant that had appeared. There were already some other players were already fighting. So with his experience in various other game in mind, Chrono turned his attention the the smaller enemies and started to fight them first. He'd taken out four as per the maximum about that can be taken down in a post.
Kel had expected that the ghost wouldn't be all that helpful, but there was no harm in trying on the off chance that they actually helped. They didn't. Kel sighed as he turned his attention over to Horace. Admittedly he didn't remember her, but he didn't tell him that. no need to intentionally make him sad. "We kinda got dragged in here, so I guess we're stuck here until we can find a way out." Maybe Horace knew of a way out, he did seem willing to help them.
∞ Name: Chrono ∞ Gender: Male ∞ Age (Min of 14, Max 84): 19 ∞ Appearance: * ∞ Personality: As determined as his is curious even when he appears to be slacking or taking things easy. He's not one to give up on something once he's set his mind to it, no matter how long it takes. ∞ Goals/Dreams: To learn the truth about his parents disappearance ∞ Weakness: Reckless, Often "leaps without looking" Stubborn, Headstrong ∞ Fears: Finding out that the truth about his parents isn't something that he wants to hear. Chrono is fully aware of this chance, but still hopes that it end up becoming true. ∞ Strengths: Strong Reflexives, Great Accuracy, Agile, Nimble, compassionate ∞ Blood Type: AB+ ∞ Star Sign: Leo ∞ Hobbies: Shooting, card games, listening to music, parkour ∞ Career: Student ∞ Bio: Spoiler Chrono grew up having no memories of his parents. He was raised by a 'family friend' who would often tell him stories about his parents, proving that he did no them well enough to be considered a family friend. Still even with all the stories that he was told, there was one question that was on his mind. Why had his parents left him? According to what he was told, they loved him dearly and likely wouldn't leave him if they had a choice. When he had turned 16 he finally decided to ask his foster father about it. However all of his attempts to ask about what happened to his parents were either avoided or the subject was changed completely. Both of which were very suspicious to him. A few more attempts later and it became clear that Chrono wasn't going to get a straight answer from his foster father, so he decided to find the answer to himself and what better place to start than his home. In his home there was a closet that he was never allowed in. Now that he thought about it, just what could be in there that would need to be hidden. Chrono had a couple of ideas. Some he'd hoped he was wrong and others were just was he needed. The odds of it being either were 50/50. Taking the gamble, he opened the closet door. Inside he found a box. The 50/50 chance was still in affect, so he approached the box and opened it up as well. The box was fairly small, but the three items inside fitted perfectly inside. A photo and a missing persons flyer. One was a family portrait of sorts, a man and a woman. Both of which had similar features to him. Were these his parents and how come seeing a picture of them didn't trigger any memories? That's what he was hoping would happen. Chrono placed the picture of his parents in his pocket before turning his focus to the missing persons flyer. There was only one face on the flyer and it was the man who Chrono had assumed was his father. According to the flyer, his father had been missing for 14 years, meaning that the last time he would've say him was when he was 2. That explained the lack of memories. Around 4 is about as far back as he can clearly remember stuff. Chrono skimmed the flyer for any other information that could be useful for him, but found nothing. So he placed it back in the box and closed the closet door. He had finally found some clues as to what happened to his parents, though it was unfortunate that said clues revealed them to be missing. No matter, that wasn't going to stop him from trying to find them.
The answer he was given only served to call forth more questions. Just who put the files in his database then? Asking though would probably not give him an answer so Zephyr yielded and entered the Tower. From here on out they would face whatever the decided to throw at them. Based off our desires. Zephyr was actually curious to see what the tower would summon that was taken from his desires. He was still confident that he'd be able to handle himself though, no matter what obstacle appeared before him.
"Well I'll try." Zephyr answered. He didn't want to get her hopes up in the event that he couldn't be of much help to her. Last thing that he wanted to do was disappoint someone else. She too didn't think Jack should leave. "Well I don't know much about it, but as far as controlling magic goes that I might be able to help with."
"Hey Tessa." Zephyr said, addressing the new girl before Conrad had arrived. Since he'd gone ahead and introduced himself, it was only polite for Zephyr to do the same. "I'm Zephyr, we went on the Everlue job together." He'd overheard part of what Tessa had said and well still being a new member himself the only dragonslayer that he knew was Quinn and his wasn't sky dragon slayer. Alessia seemed to know just who to suggest so he left it to her. That was when Jack had arrived and given some advice of his own, which he later clarified due to what Zephyr could guess was a misunderstanding. He decided to not to add anything on that and instead turned to Tessa. "If you really need help controlling you're magic, I could try helping you." Did he know anything about sky magic, nope. Was that going to stop him from trying to help, again nope. Jack had asked if he should leave, which Zephyr found odd. "If you want to." Veilen's dream had him on some funky island were he was handed a massive sword that glowed along with a magic stone of sorts. The sword he was given closely resembled the decaforce sword. Now that he had the sword, there was only one thing that he could do. Become the next master, seeking out the stones with a carrot nose dog at his side. His quest would not be done alone for he had two other companions at his side. together they would be on a mission filled with danger. 3,2,1 Time for Raveolution. That was when Veilen had woke up with assistance from Rennette. He had no idea what that dream was about or why his sword was specifically in it, but whatever. They still had a sheep to fight. SO he proceeded to use binding strike on it.
"Alright." Leo replied, looking around the guild hall. The noise in the hall had started to pick up as some of the members who were out on missions returned and started to converse with one another. He had his head turned towards those who had just entered the guild hall just for a bit longer before turning back towards Silvia and watching her work.
Zephyr stood there as Ze Operator gave them a run down of what they would be doing here in the Tower. He took another look at the people that he would be working with. So far his opinion of them remained neutral thus he didn't really mind working with them. Now how long that would last was entirely dependent on them not doing anything to bug him. "And how did you get a hold of these files?" First off he was curious as to just who had gotten this information on him and put it into a file. Second, he didn't like that someone had just read up on a file that has his information. The doors opened and thus they were allowed in. Zephyr had no intention on running away. Not because of the grief he would get from his teacher if he did, but more because that went against his own principles of not going back on his decisions once he's made them. He started walk forwards towards the opened doors and into the tower.
"That'd be great if you could." Leo said. He watched as she dug around in her bag for what he could assume would be the ingredients needed for the motion sickness tonic. When Quinn had mentioned the Balam Alliance, Zephyr had started to think about it. A pact between 3 of the strongest dark guilds. The fact that there were stronger dark guilds than the ones he's seen wasn't much of a surprise to him. The fact that there was a pact between did was a surprise. With this being the first time he's heard about the Balam Alliance, he had no idea what the three guilds were. However if they were labeled as the three strongest dark guilds, then they would be something to watch out for in the future. In response to his suggestion, Evanora said that she knew just the place that they could store the flute. Well that sure was handy. The flute was the put into his pocket for the trip back to the guild. Just as he did, Cassandra had some kind of vision before collapsing. Well she certainly wasn't in the best of conditions so her passing out was understandable. As for her vision, well Zephyr had no idea who Mikasa was so that part was just an mystery to him. Maybe he should ask her about it once she woke up. Once Zephyr had gotten back to the guild hall, he noticed that there weren't all that many people here this time around. Probably because they were still out on whatever mission they had left on. He still didn't have much to do so he figured why not talk to someone that he was just on a mission with. The closest person just happened to be Alessia who was talking to someone herself. Zephyr walked over to two girls and spoke. "Hey, mind if I join in the conversation." Everyone had made it out of the maze despite the water hazard and now they were in a different room, staring at the hand of midas. They were given a closer look thanks to Cal flying them up on her glider that her weapon transformed into. When the issue of getting out was brought up, Alisa didn't really have any idea at the time. So she let the others figure something out.
Zephyr was venturing through the fog towards he famed Tower of Power. He'd only heard about it from his teacher a couple of times with no further explanation other than it might be something that he'd be interested. While his teacher did have some odd teacher methods, she wasn't one to tell him something without there being some form of benefit to him. Thus he decided to go check it out for himself. Now he was currently making his way through the fog towards the tower. The fog was the last thing keep him from getting to the tower and he wasn't going to let it stop him. Upon entering the tower, Zephyr wasn't all that surprised to see that he wasn't the only person who was here. Two males and two females seemed to make up the group other than him. One of the females, who's outfit left very little to the imagination, was getting pretty friendly with the other guy, but that was of no concern to him. What they did was their business and theirs alone. He was much more concerned with that this tower had in store for them.
"In a way I guess." Kel said. He did remember what Steel had admitted back when hey first saw Mickey Not Mickey, but he didn't really just o what extent did he mean when he said that. He certainly wasn't expecting that though. Then the ghost appeared and attempted to scare them off. Attempted being the key word there. They weren't really doing a good job at trying to scare them off and thus they cease their attempts and asked what they wanted. "Well a way out would be nice, that and Horace." They weren't going to be staying in this mansion forever, so they would need to know a way out and what else was here. Hopefully these ghosts had at least one of these answers.
Username: Chrono Real name: Ryou Misaki Appearance: White hair ftw Gender: Male Age: 17 Weapon Choice 1: Pistol --> Machine Pistol Weapon Choice 2: Machine Gun --> Sub Machine Gun Summon: Modred Race: Reaper Personality: Ryou is a pretty calm person. In fact, it'd be more accurate to say that after going through SAO, he lost some of his capabilities to express himself. Thus he's become a more stoic person. He tends to think things out when faced with a problem and if he comes up with something, he'll likely share it with others. Bio: Spoiler: Life and Times of a Teenage NEET Bluntly speaking Ryou is a NEET. Rather he's been a NEET ever since he's dropped out of highschool. He was never good at school and his parents both knew that and gave up on him ever succeeding in life so that plus actually trying was way to much stress for him to deal with. The only solitude that he had was in video games where no one knew of his failing school life. He could be truly happy in the world of games. So why not just fully embrace that lifestyle? His time as NEET started with him playing The World R:2 up until Sword Art Online first came out, which he wasted no time in getting. Despite being trapped in the life or death game, watching other players kill each other just to survive, he still found this better than his real life. As one of the surviving players of SAO, he briefly stayed at the school designed to help others like him before returning to his games. From then on he spent most of his time playing games in his room, rarely leaving his house cept for when he really needed to, playing both Alfheim Online and Gun Gale Online. It wasn't long before he'd gotten an email ad for another VRMMO that was coming out. The timing was good cause he was looking for something new to play. Short History: Spoiler: Behold, the longest backstory I have ever written Zephyr did not have the most fortunate of childhoods. At the age of two, his father left on some journey that only his mother and sister know about. Next his mother had passed away when he was three years old, leaving him alone with his sister. They managed to survive with the help of some of their neighbors. Seven years had passed and Zephyr started to spend most of his time in the local library reading about legends, myths and anything else that fell in that category. At this age he had learned that he wasn’t the best at magic and while that did get him bullied, his lack of ability for magic didn’t stop him from physically beating them. That of course got him in trouble with his sister, who was teaching how to both how to fight and the magic that their father had taught them. Having one living relative that you know of and being bullied doesn’t seem like the best of things to happen to a kid. In fact, some most people would probably hate every second of it. This wasn’t the case for Zephyr. Learning his father’s magic was good enough for him for the time being. Zephyr still had plans to go looking for his father when he’d gotten older. This cycle or rather daily routine for Zephyr went on for four years, before the incident that greatly affected Zephyr the most had occurred. On the outskirts of the village that he lived was a shrine. Various rumors surrounded that shrine, from a place where the souls of monsters were sealed to where hero's go to be chosen. The monster rumors made no difference to Zephyr, but the hero one was what really caught his attention. When he'd suggested his plans to his friends, they were quick to warn him against doing it. Going as far as to remind him that they weren't allowed to go there without proper supervision. Zephyr ignored their warning and went by himself. The shrine was a pretty empty with a lone pedestal in the middle of it. Zephyr moved closer to the pedestal, practically drawn to it, and placed his hand on top of it. At first nothing had happened, but then suddenly the ground violently shook. The fierce shaking had caused part of the ceiling to collapse and fall down onto Zephyr. Everything after that was a blank for him. The next thing that Zephyr knew, he was in one of the medical facilities that they ha, being treated for his injuries. A couple of cuts and bruises here and there and a broken arm. Quite fortunate for someone who had a bunch of rubble fall onto him. However there was a reason behind his good fortune and it damn near broke Zephyr. It was revealed to him that the reason why he wasn't in worse condition was that his sister had shielded him from the falling rubble and was the more injured out of the two. Zephyr didn't believe this until he witness his sister's condition himself. Seeing her hanging on to life by a thread caused it all to sink in right then and there. This was all his fault. His torment didn't stop there. For the next to years he was treated like an outcast. Either being shunned or hated by the people who lived in the village. Touching the pedestal had caused an earthquake that had taken many lives and naturally when people found out the cause, they weren't happy. Zephyr on the other hand was still in shock from how he'd almost gotten his sister killed and had locked himself to his room with some books. Zephyr, now sixteen, had decided to leave his home to both find his father and to attempt to be a hero or at no longer a failure who only hurts what he holes precious to him. His sister had been released from the medical facility and was alive, but confined to a wheelchair while her legs, which suffered the most, healed. On the day he left, he left a note for his sister telling her where he was going and that he'd come back with their father if he runs into him. Not too long after his journey, he ran into some woman who not only offered to teach him about some hidden ability that he had, but also knew his father. Hoping that by following her he'd learn more about his father, he agreed to her offer. Thus the next two years were spent both traveling and training. Other: Using two spirits at once puts a great strain on Zephyr's body, thus he limits himself to one at a time unless he had to use two at once.
"A recon mission. Sounds good to me." Zeal said, both showing that he agreed to the proposed plan as well as drawing attention to his possibly ignored presence. This could easily work to show that he would be a good candidate for a mission regarding stealth. For now he just reclined back in his chair and went back to waiting. This time he started to look around at each person who was here, making small mental note on each of them. These mental notes were subject to change should the situation call for it, for now they would be nothing but first impressions.
While the topic of Steel's eye was still left unanswered, they ventured on into the manor letting Steel be the one to decide when to tell them about it. Once inside it was just as Kel had figured from his first look at it while they were outside. Very creepy looking, but fortunately more suited to ghosts rather than vampires. That alone made Kel feel a bit better. Hearing the voices, distinguishing the one that sounded in clear distress was an easy task. Finding where the voice was coming from was a different matter and could be a difficult one, but a voice in distress was a voice in distress. "Come on, someone else here is clearly being tormented by what I'm going and and calling ghost. We need to find where they are." Kel didn't imagine any of them would object to helping someone who was stuck here against their will and on the off chance they did, it wasn't going to stop him from going an investigating.
When Silvia had mentioned how her tonic helped with pains, the first thing that came to mind was his motion sickness and how what she'd given him helped mitigate it's effects. Having something like that would be handy should something ever happen while they were on something moving. "Does it also help with motion sickness?" Silvia seemed to think that she was boring him, which definitely wasn't the case. Leo was actually interested in her herbs and what she could make. "I don't find any of this boring, actually it's pretty interesting." That said, if she really wanted to do something else, then he wouldn't force her to keep talking about this. Usually when he was bored he just started looking for things to take pictures of, but he didn't know if Silvia would want to do that. Veilen used Fire Dash Zwei's currently playing with the cat they liberated from Wenlock in his room. Naturally Alisa wasn't going to be able to keep running forever with the water slowly flooding the entire maze. Balthazar hadn't given her a express route out of here like she had requested, but it was quite fortunate for her that she ran into Cal and Malkira. By doing so, she was able to follow the two of them towards the exit of the maze. Kageyama seemed to be in a much more cooperating mood with how he told them pretty much exactly what they wanted to know about the flute and what he was planning on using it for. He noticed Kageyama mumbling something, but didn't hear it so he brushed it off as nothing. The second time he muttered something and Zephyr did hear him. "You're welcome I guess." Part of the reason that he'd brought up the fact that he was injured was to get Alessia to ease up on her treatment of him. Next up for debate was what to do with the flute. Destroying is was clearly out of the question. "Can't we just seal it away somewhere no one will find it?" Zephyr did recalled reading about a Zeref in one of the many books that he's read over the years and demons were something he'd rather avoid fighting for the time being. Sealing it away seemed like the best option, espcially if you make a seal strong enough so that no one other than the ones who seal it can break it.
Xross Zephyr Naturally the first thing that Xander proceeded other that ignore him was to had a 'heartfelt moment' with Alisia right in front of Dane. Though his words clearly fell on deaf ears so he just turned his attention to more pressing matters. It had taken Xross a few second, along with Xindai mentioning his name did he finally recognize Rinox. "I suppose that's true, granted there's clearly more than one way to obtain some form of long life." Both the tone and manner he was speaking was clearly different then the tone and mannerism he'd used when referring to Xander. That's simply because he doesn't think Noir is an idiot and has some form of respect for him. The same could be said about Xindai. "Still it's a surprise to see both of you. especially you Mr 'Hero'." Briefly he'd forgotten about Xander until he'd noticed the sword being pointed at him. so he words didn't fall on deaf ears after all. Only one thing to do now, be more of an complete ass to him. "I'm not much for helping self proclaimed protectors do the one job they have. Besides, wouldn't it hurt your pride if I was better doing what you clearly can't do." His glanced over to Alisia before returning their gaze at Xander. A smirk appeared on his face before he continued. "Oh you give me way to much credit, I would've killed her by now and made sure you were there to witness just how powerless you are. So in a way, it actually is better that she's with him and not me nor you." Threatening Xross with death made no difference to him anymore. He'd already experienced it once before and had taken measures to assure that he'd live. Granted it would be fun to reveal his 'immortality' if he was killed. So as an answer to his previous question, Zephyr came to the conclusion that doing nothing was probably the best course of action and he didn't even have to ask a magic conch shell to get that answer. Talk about saving money. Wait, did spongebob even buy the Magic conch shell. He just kinda had it for that one episodes. ....Alrighty then, moving on back to what Zephyr's actually doing. The fact that the hero seemed to know the ******* (take a while guess as to who he's referring to), that didn't leave a very good impression on Zephyr. While he continued to do nothing, a random mage had just appeared out of nowhere. Zephyr choose not to question it given that it was Gwen who had done it and he barely understood half the things she did. That also pretty much includes Hunter. Eventually he'd gotten tired of waiting around and decided to walk over to where Freya and the downed Zavion. Hopefully she would be able to give him some answers. "So, I take it that the white hair guy with the chains is the hero you were trying to prevent from being released." He said upon getting to where they were.
