Kruez soon went back to casually rocking back and forth in the chair when the silence had returned. Well he'd briefly managed to fix his boredom, of course in the process Tatiana had started to cry hence why he wasn't asking her anything else. Eventually stopped rocking and went to just leaning back into the chair. That and using his index finger, he started to trace numbers in the air. Roman numerals to be exact. Why? Both as a form of practice for his magic as well as a way to entertain himself.

"I'm positive." Zephyr answered, washing another dish. It was the least he could do, that's how he saw it. He was being allowed to stay here and eat. That may have been in exchange for him helping out, but nothing said that he couldn't do other things to help.

Zephyr noticed the sadness in Terra's voice as she spoke about her husband and people not knowing about her. In a way he could understand what she went through. Though in his case, he was perfectly fine with people helping his sister over him. It gave him one less thing to worry about while he was on his journey.

With the suit of armor being defeated, the blade that was in Zephyr's hand soon vanished along side Byakko. Their purpose for this battle had been served and thus they left. Operator had asked who wanted the weapon left behind by the suit of armor. Tessa and Alexis had already decline to take and he himself had enough means to fight, so there was no reason for him to take another one. "I'm good." He stated as he walked through the door.

Alisa had felt well protected from Charolette attack due to her shield, despite still feeling the impact against it. She didn't dwell on this long, for her opponent had went in for another attack. Thus she would face this attack by using binding strike.

Well things got ugly even without Karina even getting out. Admittedly Kel both underestimated her standard desire to hurt/kill things and overestimated that the cage she was in would actually hold her back. Now there she was strangling the Mad Doctor. With Kel himself still being in a cage and the doctor not close enough for him to actually do anything, the only thing that he could do was to watch Karina strangle the mechanical doctor as Kaida assisted by throwing her keyblade towards the doctor. "I get that he pissed you off and all, but you could at least wait til we have a way out before you attempt to murder him." His words may have been directed at Karina, but he fully expected them to fall on deaf ears.

If Kruez was going to be completely honest, he was expecting something more along the lines of she was walking back home and was attacked in an alley or something. Her being attacked at the brothel wasn't had in mind, but that wasn't up to him at all. Kruez continued listen silently, noting the fact that Tatiana had started shaking. Her reaction was an understandable one given her experience and Kruez had figured something like that would happen. At the end of her tale, Kruez had place his hand on his chin as if he was contemplating something. "So he basically did all that just because he could, well I can understand why the old drunk would want to kill him." Albeit their reasoning likely being different, people like that were a pet peeve of Kruez and he enjoyed knocking them down to size. Thus running into him would be interesting to say the least.

By hearing some of his parents traits, he could see why A) his foster father wanted to keep this a secret from him, though it didn't really help much given his information seeking. And B) what traits of his parents that he had inherited for himself. They were mostly his mothers, but a little bit of his fathers were in there. "Do you know anyone else who could have some information on them?

Meanwhile back in the kitchen Gale and co. had been gathering the apples mentioned by Adelina when the squirrels and birds hand come to bring them berries and nuts. Seeing as they weren't going to be able to hold all of that, Gale found a container (let's go with a clean bucket) for them to place the nuts and berries in and another one for the apples.

Following a similar theme of her last opponent, this one wielded an impressive looking sword. Being asked what her name, Alisa gave her response. "My name is Alisa." Shortly after introductions were made, Charolette had charged in ready to strike. To combat this, Alisa did the same, her shield ready in front of her as she charged with Barrier Surge.

Well, he was screwed regardless of him doing anything, but maybe he'll get lucky. Veilen used cure on himself.

And the reveal of the Doctor's chest had only served to bring about move question, but we'll save those for later. For now he was more curious about what he had just got finished saying. "Just why were you trying to control the blots in the first place." He may have said 'But my thirst for power nearly got demonic' but there had to be an origin point for this desire to control the blots. Now when the Mad Doctor had mentioned that the cages had no locks or doors, it was precisely then that Kel had just noticed this. You would think that would be one of the first things he'd notice, but guess not.

With that in mind, it appeared that their keyblades wouldn't help them escape their current predicament. There had to be another way to get out though, keyblade or not. Cages weren't necessarily the strongest things in the world. His pondering by the sound of a raspberry. Kel looked up and saw that the Doctor had chosen to walk towards the cage Karina was in and blow a raspberry at her. This made Kel chuckle a bit on the outside, though on the inside he knew that this was the equivalent of taunting a bull behind bars. In other words, if Karina gets out things will likely get ugly real fast.

Kruez was silent as he listened to Tatiana describe her brother, using his foot to rock himself back and forth. Aaron's admiration towards witchers reminded Kruez of how he admired his father and how he wanted to learn the same magic that his father used. fortunately he managed to do so, it has gotten him out of a few tight spots every now and then. The protective and caring side of Aaron he could see, well in regards to Tatiana. That much seemed to still be the same, other than that there wasn't much that he could judge accurate or not.

The rocking in the chair had come to a stop as Kruez became content with the answer to his first question. He could've stopped their conversation right then and there, but there was something else that he was curious about. "Why were you attacked by a Doppler?"

While Zephyr did continue to wash the dishes like the was told to do, he overheard the conversation between Sarah and Terra and listened in to it. Having both your parents killed and not being sure whether or not you were followed. That was horrible for someone to have to experience. Zephyr was unsure how to respond to what he had overheard, thus he remained silent and put up another recently dried dish before moving on the the next one.

As he placed the dish into the water Terra had taken Sarah to her room, briefly leaving him in silence before returning. She'd picked up a towel with the intention of helping him. "Thanks." Zephyr may not have mind doing this all by himself since that's what he offered to do, but that didn't mean that he would turn down an offer to help him. "I'll be fine, it wouldn't be the first time I've been in potential danger. Besides, it wouldn't sit right with me if I left knowing that something might befall this place."

So after the world longest nap, Zwei revives to actually do something. Now he was standing in the arena for his first match. He knew nothing about his opponent other than the obvious fact that he was a part of the guild. No sure how this fight would go for him, Zwei just decided to use Strike Raid.

Having advanced to the next round, the heroic spir- er guardian stood before her opponent with her tower shield at her side. "Best of luck to you." Alisa responded, moving her shield before her. The throwing of her opponent's sword was odd, mainly cause it didn't look like the type of weapon that one would throw. nonetheless, she went on with her attack which was...Barrier Surge.

So Veilen learned that his Magnet + Mine Square tactics works, quite well actually. Well while that was a good thing to know for the future, he probably wasn't going to use that tactic all that often. Regardless he had made it to the next round and his opponent had charged towards him with his sword aimed towards him. Thus Veilen decided to meet his opponent head on. His blade became engulf in flame, signalling the Fire Dash that Veilen had used against Vance.

~For the sake of continuity, let's say that Zephyr told Alessia that he'd think about her offer to help him. now on with the tournament.~

Zephyr had managed to progress to the next round of the tournament, but he got the feeling that Alessia was well...upset at her loss. Seeing as how he couldn't go and confirm this at the time, he would do so once he had the time. Since that was now decided, the next thing to do was to fight his next opponent, who had moved to where he was at. His opponent was someone he didn't know, like a fair number of people at the guild. Zephyr took the brief moment he had before Gaius went and attacked him. With his descending upon him, Zephyr decided to counter with an aerial attack. However, due to not having one, he just used Sliding Dash and aimed it upward towards Gaius.

After Conrad had asked if he had any traveling stories to tell, Leo had sat there and tried to recall something that he was told in some story fashion. The young s-class remained both silent and still for this, coming up with nothing to tell. In response to the failure, he spoke up. "Sorry, I can't remember any stories."

Crow was right about one thing, it was an extreme ideology to be glad being were dead just because they disliked them, but this is where Kruez should've been more specific. The truth of the matter was that when he was younger, he took the looks and glares that gave him as just looks of dislikes. The reality was they hated him and his entire family. The villagers may not have openly done anything to show this, but how they treated him was more than enough proof of that. Years of that and of course he'd be glad that they all are dead. Though, maybe the ones who just avoided him all together are an exception to that. Unfortunately the majority outweighed the minority in this case.

"Normally yes, but that dislike turned to hatred after a while. They made that pretty clear by blaming me for whatever went wrong there." That was all Kruez had to say on the matter since he had no intentions on going further into his past. So he was glad when Crow, albeit briefly, mentioned what it was that he could teach him. He didn't have the chance to further ask what he meant, for the other girl had returned and said something about horses being missing. Well it wasn't hard to put two and two together. So Crow presumably left to go after them, leaving him and Tatiana in the library. Well, guess now was the time to strike up a conversation with her. "So Tatiana, just what kind of person is your brother." From their brief interaction, he had no reason to think ill of the guy.

Zephyr had followed behind Terra as she guided him to the kitchen, after which she wasted no time pointing to the stack of dishes for him to clean. "Alright." Adding his dishes to the mix, the teen rolled up his sleeves and started to silently wash the dishes. It had been awhile since he's done something like this and fortunately he still had some idea on how to wash the dishes.
