"What a pity, if you really wanted to find a stripper then going outside and looking on the curb would be your best chance." Lucas started, a smirk appearing on his face. "But please, no need to lower your questionable IQ just for the sake of telling me I've done something wrong. "We're all big boys and girls here, most of us anyway." With that he finished his response to the other Lucas, part of which wasn't intended to be insulting, but easily could've been taken that way. Seeing as the man had already left through, the blue haired doctor just turned back towards his laptop and started working on another project of his.
While he didn't look like it, Lucas had been paying a good amount of attention to what the other Lucas was saying as he continued to make adjustments to his weapons. While he often wasn't the type to actually go out and get his hands dirty for the sake of an experiment, he wouldn't have to worry about that since he was tasked with watching the surveillance cameras. It was a simple task and thus wouldn't require much effort on his part. That was perfectly fine by him. He turned around on his chair to actually face the others, something he hadn't done since well since he got here today. His own private work was finished so there was no further need for him to be on it. "I take it that since I'm on camera duty you want for me to keep an eye out for anything that could compromise us. Sounds easy enough." If not for the tone in his voice and how he said those words, one could assume that he was getting cocky about a simple task, but Lucas knew better. One little slip up was all it took to mess everything up.
Once all of their attacks had finished, Frieza proceeded to use the same attack on them that he'd used to take out Piccolo. Fortunately it was spread out among the three of them so no one person got rekted by the attack. That said, hunter was the one who looked more likely to collapse so he again used Friend Block on him.
After Damion had found his sister the previous night, Alisa had suggested to Ari that they picked up from where they left off tomorrow and headed back to the Inn. While it may have been easier to just meet up with her at the Inn, but there wasn’t much time to actually plan that all out so the brother and sister duo headed back to the inn. When morning had arrived, Alisa was the first one awake and dressed while Damion slept in. This wasn’t the first time that this has happened, in fact there have been times where she’s just up and left while eh was still sleeping. Though in all those instances she was A) She was with her friends and B) Damion knew that she was with her friends. So just leaving to go meet up with a bunch of strangers would probably not be a good thing. So she sighed before going to wake up her brother. It took a couple of tried, but she finally managed to wake Damion up. Seeing as how Damion wasn’t a morning person at all, it took some effort to actual motivate him to get up. When he finally did get out of bed, he brushed his teeth and got dressed before saying. “Alright, so where are you meeting those ‘friends’ of your?” Before answering, Alisa took out her phone and looked at the message that had been sent to it. After reading through it once more, she responded to her brother. “It’s say the fountain, so let’s go.” Alisa wasted no time heading out the door with her brother in tow. It didn’t take the two long to arrive at the fountain and they saw that they weren’t the first ones there. “Hey guys!” Alisa called out, waving to the two girls.
Veilen silently followed behind Dale as he lead them out of the temple. He was pretty careful when they crossed over the hole that they fell down in. Falling back down would definitely not be helpful. Well it would still be more helpful then anything Cal has done, but still. At least all he would have to do is to go back through the tunnel to get back to this point. He'd probably get an earful for making the others wait. "So how are we going to deal with Cal? We may have to fight her to get to Boreal and stop him from trying to free Deloria." The question wasn't directed at anyone in particular so anyone who hopefully had a suggestion could chime in and say what they thought
The clanking of the sound the remaining Lance Soldiers had died down much more that before with the low number of them remaining. Kel still stood in the middle of the remaining heartless, dodging the lance attacks as they were sent towards him. The rate in which they were attacking him had increased greatly and thus they weren’t leaving him very much time to make a counterattack. If they were just sending their lance parts towards him and staying on the ground, then things would probably be much easier for him, but what heartless likes to make things easy for any keyblade wielder. Intentionally anyway. There have been times where the heartless made an assist while they tried to get to the wielder. Shame that couldn’t be the case now, but with only like 6 (or 8, depending on how many was left on the last post) and the fact that they had him pretty well surrounded, he was pretty much playing a very very difficult game of Greek dodge ball. The longer Kel tried to dodge their attack, the sloppier his moves gradually got which lead to him getting hit every now and then. It was nothing severe, though some of the attacks struck through both layer of clothing that he had on and actually got to his skin. The blue haired wielder had finally had enough of all of this dodging and finally decided to make some kind of effort in a counter attack. He waited till another one of the Lance Soldiers leapt into the air and started flying around with the aid of the lance part of the heartless. It had made about two loops in the air above him before finally diving down in an attempt to strike Kel. Moving quickly, he took and quick step back as the heartless stuck into the ground right in front of him. For the time being he could ignore the heartless stuck in the ground and focus on some of the other ones. Namely some of the ones that were going to attack him right at this very moment. So as another one struck towards him, the lance aimed for his chest. This attack was dodged as well, though it was followed up by a quick slash through the chest of the heartless with his keyblade. As it dissipated into nothing, the remaining particles had obscured Kel’s vision briefly. As a result he was just barely able to see the attack that was meant for him. With little time to react, he put up his keyblade in a defensive manner and was just barely able to block the attack. However his blocking attack was not a perfect one. Not only was he pushed back a bit, but due to how he had his keyblade placed in his guarding attempted, the lance part of the heartless had been able to hit his hand. The injury wasn’t too bad but it did hurt quite a bit. I’m probably going to have to heal a bit once this is all over. Speaking of healing, he hadn’t even used a single magic spell this entire fight. Yes, his magic wasn’t the best, there was no questioning that, but still he could throw in some variation in his attacks. Since the idea was still fresh on his mind, he turned to the Lance Soldier that had attacked him and casted fire on it, setting the heartless ablaze in blue er, orange flames. He wasn’t azure flame kite yet. That made two down from the six that he was fighting and excluding the once stuck in the ground still, there was only one left to defeat. Fortunately for him it was just standing around doing nothing. So it would meet it’d end the same way the last heartless did. Death by fire. The small ball of fire launched out of the palm of Kel’s hand and struck the heartless, burning it to the ground. No answer to his question. Whelp, it was probably for the best. Making something like that would probably take a lot of energy and if they were going to stop Boreal from doing whatever he had planned with this demon. So as Charlotte went to search for an exit for them out of this cave, Dale explained to Calxiyn the truth about Boreal and she didn't listen at all. Basically she went all naive Stockholm syndrome prisoner on Dale and started to defend Boreal, even blaming Dale for all this for abandoning. This was probably the second thing that Dale was somehow being blamed for that wasn't really his fault, the first being stuff in the mouse's bra. The two then got into a heated argument which ended with Cal getting on her glider and flying off towards who knows where. The only that came to mind when she did this were three simple words. "What an idiot." Her going off on her own is what got her in this mess and she was doing it again. She was definitely a problematic one, but she was still their friend and thus they couldn't just abandoned her. If they did, it would defeat the purpose of them looking for her in the first place. "I think most of us here will give you some help, so let's get this show on the road." Veilen said, hefting his sword on his shoulder.
Zwei used quick blitz, happy now Cal.
Frieza had once again changed forms and knocked Piccolo out of the fight. Whelp it was just them then, so Renju went and attacked with his sword once more.
After getting on his pegasus, the group flew to a mountain top. After Aidan had read the ice writing before them, they ventured into the cave where they were greeted by a giant snow golem. Well, this was going to be an interesting fight to say the least. He made a quick swipe motion with his hand, doing so casted aero towards the giant snow creature. "So, anyone have any suggestions?" Veilen asked. There wasn't much that he could do in this instant given how high up the whole that they fell from was. Since Dale was a Ice make wizard he could possibly make a platform for them climb back up. Another idea was to throw him up there. It was odd that he was considering that as a suggestion, but the real issue with that what would be assuming he reach the hole and climbed out, what would he do then? Again, not much that he could do in this situation. He decided to try his luck with the ice make platform plan and turned to Dale. "Hey, do you think you can make a platform and lift us out of here?" Aoki had returned from her failed attempt at getting into the manor with a displeased look on her face. Zephyr simply assumed it had something to do with her womanly pride being hurt and left it at that. He didn't want any wrath meant for someone else to be brought upon him. Malkira had spoke up and agreed to Vance's plan and before Zephyr could speak up, Aoki suggested that they use both his and Vance's plan. Zephyr was more for that not because he would actually get to use his idea, but he wouldn't have to worry about posing as a servant. If anything thing that was something that he'd prefer to avoid if he could. "If we send like 1 - 3 people to sneak in, then while you guys are trying to go in through the front door using your status, then could find the book without attracting to much attention."
Renju's attack actually looked like it had done something to Frieza, which was a pleasant surprise. That gave him more motivation to actually use his sword instead of the magic that he was still unable to use at the moment. That being the case, Frieza had retaliated and moved to impale him in the same manner that he did to Galia and rammed into his with his horns. It was a very painful experience to say the least. One that would probably leave a scar later on. The horn removed itself from his body and Renju almost fell down on one knee, but he used his sword as a way to keep on his feet. He could handle something like this, all he had to do was fight through the pain and not take a blow like that again. It may have taken some inner strength, but he did manage to stay up on his feet and move to attack Frieza again with his sword.

While no one had responded to his suggestion to sneak in around back, Zephyrine asked if anyone was good at climbing pointing towards a wall. Well if they were going to use that wall as a way to sneak in, then all would work out. Zephyr was pretty good at climbing, though it was mainly tress that he climbed. surely it couldn't be too hard for him to transfer that skill to this building. Though before they could agree upon sneaking in, Vance had had an idea of his own. Not surprisingly, using their rank would not be a idea that Zephyr would've come up with. That aside, there was one thing that he did have to say about his plan. "I'm not 100% certain that your plan will work, seeing as Everlue probably has nothing but his "beautiful" maid on his mind. But I've been wrong before." He's been wrong several times in fact, but they don't need to know that little detail. Turns out Cal was down here the whole time. It sure was a good thing that the rubble didn't crush her when they fell down. Veilen was pretty quiet as Dale explained who Deloria was. Something like that definitely wasn't a good thing to leave walking around. But it was frozen and it didn't look like it was going anywhere anytime soon. Unless Boreal planned to set it free. In which case they needed to prevent him from doing that. "I don't think he'll be much of a threat so long as it stays frozen. We should probably find a way so that we can stop him."
So friend blocking Hunter had done pretty much nothing. Not that Hunter had gotten hit, just that Frieza had completely ignored him and attacked Galia instead. There was only one of him so could Frieza just pick one target and stick to it. Least while he was covering for someone anyway. Ah whatever, he still couldn't use Flare so he decided to hope for the best and attack with his sword. Long as it did over 10 damage, he would be fine.
While Errol had explained a good portion of what they were going to be doing, Leif had managed to keep a pretty uninterested look on his face. The reason behind the look was due to various reasons. Boredom for the most part was the main reason behind it. Unfortunately he couldn't just walk out and not think about this at all, the fact that it was Testing Day didn't make it any better. A barely audible sigh escaped his lips, if he did choose to skip out then the could say goodbye to one of the few things of interest that he found here. The apple core being thrown was a peculiar sight to see, but it wasn't aimed at him so, which was all the reason for him not to care about who threw it in the first place. The apple had hit Christe who was volunteering to go first for the test, despite how she could easily not take it. If only Leif had that choice, then he wouldn't have to be here right now and instead doing something else. Complaining about it would get him no where, so he did what he figured would get him somewhere. He simply raised his hand before speaking. "I'll go third just to get this out of the way." After Leif had basically declared candidacy to be the third person to take the test, regardless of who went first, another person spoke out. This time it was Ken who was wearing his hood over his head like he always did. If someone where to ask him why, he would give them the simple answer of "Force of habit" which was true for the most part. Now as for why that was true, he'd rather no go into detail. in fact asking him about it is one of the few ways that causes the general smile that he wears on his face to go away. That makes it pretty clear that he doesn't want to talk about it. Now the words that he said at the time were, "I can go after Leif does." Since it was pretty likely that Leif was going to be third no matter what, Ken choose to be the fourth man in. He may have been a level three and had some fairly impressive abilities, but that didn't change how some, well one, of those abilities he didn't often use and preferred to keep it that way. Lucas gave one brief look at the email that had been sent to his laptop before clicking out of it. To him the mission board was just a way to keep oneself busy when they didn't have anything to do at a given point in time. so while he may check on it every now and then, he didn't often plan on actually partaking in one of those jobs. He slid his finger across the mouse pad on his laptop til the cursor hovered over a blue icon. With a quick click, the programing software for his gauntlets was opened. While he rarely was seen without them on, he still had to run maintenance checks on them every now and then. He'd barely started before being interrupted by one of his colleagues. Isabella. She was one of the more interesting people that he worked with while he was here and what she asked him was a pretty good example of just how interesting she way. As he turned away from his laptop, he saw her explosion style entrance as he told him how she wanted him to cut open her head so that she could hack own her brain. While she did this, even with her illusions and such, the look on his face was unchanging. Not even an eyebrow moved a single inch nor centimeter. It was as if his face was frozen until she'd finished speaking. When she did, he responded with. "No" A rather simple answer to a very extravagant question. Afterwards he'd turned back and returned to working on his own little project. His reason for declining wasn't a matter of ethic, nor lack of ability. He did program the gauntlets that he's aways seen wearing and pretty much make them. He reason for declining was a simple, he didn't feel like it. It didn't matter how willing she was, it wouldn't change his own uninterest. The sound of the door being opened was a clear sign that someone else had entered, another man who'd introduced himself as Lucas Beaumont. Having two people named Lucas might cause some confusion in the future but that would have to be dealt with at the time. For even as he introduced himself Lucas didn't turn away from his own laptop. Still he did answer the other Lucas. "Lucas Dubois, Mad Doctor." The tone that he spoke in was clear enough to be heard despite him not turning away form his laptop.
The silence of the group walking in the temple had lasted until Dale had started remarking about the temple. His words on someone else being here didn't surprise Veilen for it certainly did explain where the giant mouse had come from. The real thing was whether or not they were noticed and walking into a trap or were they actually unnoticed for the most part. The answer was revealed to be the latter when a blonde hair man who looked very similar to Dale had appeared. The two fought and before Veilen could even move his hand in an attack to cast some kind of spell, the ground beneath them had collapsed, sending them into the darkness below. Naturally when he landed on the ground the red haired teen landed on his head, thus making it the third time he's fallen and landed on his head today. "Ow, thank god my head his sturdy." That said, he still rubbed where he'd hit the ground as he looked around. It was quite the fall that they'd taken and thus it may be difficult to get back up to where they were. He heard Dale mention some name and thus he noticed the frozen and chained up monster that was int he room with them. "Cool, what is that?"
With the return of Gohan it had looked like the calvary had arrived and fought back against Freiza's first form. The little purple man didn't like that at all and got taller. That was about it, he just got taller. "That's pretty lackluster for a transformation." Renju said in his usual dull tone of voice. It didn't have to be extravagant, but anything with some effort would do. Oh well, back to the fight, out of the three of them Hunter was the one taking the most damage, next being Galia and leaving himself taking pretty much no damage at all. Bring side of that was that he would be in top form to cover for someone, which he did. Using Friend Block on Hunter, he prepared to take the attack for his comrade. Gailia would be fine, she wasn't in much danger or getting close to it right now. Renju used Friend Block on Hunter encase it wasn't clear.
They'd done quite a bit of damage to Frieza, so let's do some more. Renju used Flare again.
Congrats Hyuge-senpai
Holy shit they actually summoned a dragon. That's by far the coolest thing he's seen while here. As Krillin made the wishes, the dragon turned to stone just before he made the third wish and vanished. The culprit behind it was a short alien with lipstick that they were going to have to stall until they got back with some guy named Piccolo. Whelp, not much they could do about it now. So Renju used Flare
