Once he's gotten the hang flying and actually flew more than a couple of inches off the ground, he managed to catch up to the others including the people that they just met not to long ago. Two of which were fighting over who should have the Dragonball. Still didn't know just what it was, but at this point he figure it out if he just waited. While the two fighting, more people had shown up. Most of which definitely were not human. In fact the first thing that they did was to strike an odd pose before them. Renju had no idea what to think of these five. Well four now seeing as how the short green one was just vaporized in seconds. Their leader just left with the Dragonballs leaving his soldiers to do the dirty work. Least he would be fighting the more human looking one along side Vegeta. Granted defense was more his oriented so he would be pretty much using on his magic for this fight. That said, he fired off a flare toward Recoome
The swarm of heartless surrounding the blue hair wielding had diminished a fair bit. Fair bit meaning almost half of them were take care of. They had barely caused any form of damage to him, though given how much they still outnumbered him that could change quite easily if he was not careful. So he spun the keyblade in his hand till he was holding it in a reverse fashion and readied himself for the next attack from the heartless. His plan was a simple one, grab one of the lance soldiers and use it as a weapon against the other ones for as long as he could, then repeat the process when the one he was using as a weapon vanished into dust. It may not have been the best of plans, but it was definitely working for Kel and he was going to continue using it. Alright, that’s enough procrastinating the actual action and it is time to get to work. Once again the heartless were the first one to make a move. It almost looked like they hadn’t learn anything from their first attempt to trying to attack the wielding, but again Kel didn’t expect much from the heartless that he was fighting. While this time they didn’t all leap in the air in an attempt to all strike him at once, two of the four heartless had used the black lance parts of them to propel themselves faster towards Kel. Though they moved in a very odd pattern they eventually managed to aim towards their target. The first one was dodged quite easily. As for the second one, Kel’s keyblade was put up in an attempt to deflect it. It worked, though not like how he wanted it to go. Instead of deflecting and knocking it into the air, it was instead stuck in the ground next to Kel. Bright side was, now he had another lance soldier to dual wield with. He then picked up the heartless by its flailing legs and lifted it up. That completed part 1 of his two step plan which meant now came the fun part. First using his keyblade to take out the nearest Lance Soldier to him, he turned his attention towards the other two who’d stepped out of the crowd of heartless and towards him. It was odd how they didn’t do anything while he was busy with the other two, but that only made his job easier. This time it was Kel who took the initiative to attack and took a swipe at one of the Lance Solders with his keyblade. The heartless had managed to avoid being cut in two right then and there by ducking which cause Kel to swipe through the space between the lance and solder part of the heartless. Another swipe proceeded that one this time in a vertical fashion which cleaved the heartless in two quite easily. That just left one more to deal with, for this post anyway, and it did not look like it was going to go down without some kind of a fight. Proven by how it made two separate attempts to deal some form of damage to the keyblade wielder. Both attempts were dodged though one of which had just barely missed him and actually nicked him. Though in terms of visible damage, there was just a light tear in his musketeer uniform which served to reveal his own clothes that were still underneath it. That would likely be as close to injuring him as it got for just after it had done that, it was impaled by the lance part of the Lance solder that Kel was using as a weapon. The bald one had spoke and successfully told the the identity of the tyrant that they were looking for and also avoided a needless conflict. 5 points for the bald guy. He also mentioned that at their current level that they wouldn't stand a chance against Frieza, well they were full of surprises. Another person had joined the fray, this one with spiky black hair. He seemed to really want the dragonball for immortality. Just how was he going to become immortal from one dragon ball. They definitely didn't look edible in the slightest. As they left, the one named Krillin had brought up how they weren't able to fly. It was true and would be very helpful if they co- so it was that easy to learn how to fly. In what appeared to be an instant they all were taught how to fly. Somewhere there's a guy who worked his ass off learning how to fly crying right now. Granted while they had the ability to fly, they still didn't know how to fly. "So is this like Peter Pan and we just have to believe and we fly?" No answer. Well shit. Time for plan b, wait there were no ledges for them to leap off of. Plan C it is. Renju then waited a few seconds before jumping straight up. It was the best that he could think of and it actually did work. He was off the ground and floating, but not flying just yet. "Eh, close enough."
Zephyr Xross Avi Feeling in his left arm had returned and Zephyr readied himself to go on the counter attack. The black shield of his had vanish and the gem turned a brilliant white color as bolts of lighting started to surge around it. Since lighting attacks had appeared to work, if they were back by his gauntlet, then he just might be able to do some damage. Unfortunately he didn't account for what his opponent would be doing while he was making these preparations. By the time he'd looked up, he saw that Stratos was already charging towards him at high speeds with the aid of the wind that was behind him. He saw the initial direction that the attack was going and attempted to counter it from that direction, leaving his other side completely unguarded. That would prove to be his downfall as Stratos's keyblade switched sides and the attack struck him on his other side. The attack had brought him down onto his knees, but not out. Out as in unconscious, he was definitely out of the fight between the two that was for certain. The phoenix was defeated and had dissipated moments after being cleaved in two. There were no signs of it reviving which meant less for them to potentially deal with. In fact all that was left for them to do was find any cave that may or may not be here. Asking around would've help, if not for the fact that whoever was left still alive on this world would not be so willing to help them. In the end nothing was found. Guess it was back to Disney Castle for the lot of them. Avi had gotten quite lucky during Dane's attempts to burn the bush that he'd landed in. He'd managed to just roll out of the way and manage to completely avoid being burned. As for an explanation to his vanishing trick, I got nothing. What I do have is how whatever magic that had cause Avi to disappear those two times had worn off and he was about to be struck by Dane's scythe. That was until a small mirror had blocked the attack. I'm not going to let your inability to fight screw me over. Lucrix had taken control over Avi's body for this fight and thus would actually be able to do more than just defend. Speaking of which the mirror that blocked Dane's attack flew back to Lucrix once he'd gain some more space between him. It was a good thing that he did take control over his body for the one on one fight had turned into a 2 v 1. So what Lucrix did to start was move the mirror to the palm of his hand and send a stream of fire towards the two.
"We could be your family, and who eats their own family?" Zwei said. He doubted that Ollie could actually name some example of people who ate their own family. All that mattered was that he got the point and decided not to eat them. They'd arrived at the manor and all stopped outside of the gates that had prevented them from just walking on in. So they were expected to find a book in this place, maybe it was in the library assuming that there was one in this place. There probably was and Zephyr would hopefully be able to find it. He's spent quite a lot of time in a library as a kid anyway. Moving on, the way they were going to get into the manor was for one of them to dress up as a maid, which the golem had something against. "Easy there tall dark and gruesome, you probably wouldn't get fair even if you were the maid." A female would be the better choice for this job and seeing as they had only one on this mission. And in a puff of smoke, tambourine guy had just turned into a woman. Well, that's something. "So either Tambourine man, er woman goes or we let the other legit female on this team go. Either one's fine with me."
First off, did Hunter really get his name wrong moments after he'd said it. If it was a matter that he just miss heard him then that was one thing. You know what, let's just go with the the assumption that it was an honest mistake and move on. Now as for what Hunter had said afterwards well...it wasn't the worst suggestion one could have, but it was by no means a good one. "How bout we not and say we did." The third member of the group had brought up the tyrant that they were looking for, which could very well be this Freiza person. man it would be helpful if the little kid or bald cannon fodder answer their question before someone started something.
A fair amount of distance had been put between Zephyr and Fang's shop as he did the one thing that he could do now. Since he wasn't told what the first thing that he was going to have to do in order to get the sword back was, he pretty much had no choice but to play tourist and just look around. Geez it wasn't his fault that he'd gotten attacked (again) over the craftsmanship of the sword and it definitely wasn't his fault that the other guy happened to be able to leave a pretty noticeable scratch on the sword. Unfortunately it was too late to worry about the past. With a quick sigh he placed his gloved hands in his pocket and continued on his walk. He'd taken a few steps forward until he heard some approaching footsteps from behind him. He saw that it was Ethel who was approaching him and while he didn't immediately stop and wait, he didn't slow his pace as he turned around to continue walking. That said, he'd taken a single step in the other direction before someone had bumped into him. Zephyr managed to stay on his feet, he stumbled a bit, but he was still standing, while the person had went down. "Uh why do you ask?" By this point not only had Ethel caught up to him, but looking behind the girl that had run into him he could see exactly why she'd asked that. The city guard were heading in their direction and would likely assume that he was an accomplish to her. Even if they didn't do that, he would still probably be taken in for questioning. So he pretty much just grabbed the wrists of Ethel and the girl that had bumped into him and ran in the opposite direction. Now he needed to find a place to evade them and then maybe he could take a breather.
They seemed to be in quite the barren place this time around. Maybe that would make their job easier then. Anything they would be looking for would probably be easier to find, depending on what it was they were looking for of course. If only they had some kind of clue to guide them. Renju then decided to look up towards the green sky, he'd hope to see something up there. A little kid and a small bald man were not what he was expecting though. So the people in this world can fly, that sure is convenient. The two flying people then landed in front of them and started talking about something involving one of their Dad's, some guy named Frieza and something called the dragon balls. A lot of questions to ask, but first might as well get the introductions over with. "Um, I'm Renju and who is this Frieza person is?"
Renju had been enjoying the silence that they had after their mission had been completed. He'd would wish that he could have more time to enjoy the quiet a little longer, but that would've been a failed wish. That or some divine force brought about the exact opposite of what he wanted. No matter which one it was, an angel had appeared and the one who'd brought them all here had seemingly contained her, but according to what he said they needed to hurry and defeat her fellow angels. Interesting, normally one doesn't go and defeat angels unless your in Devil Survivor, but that a different story. That said, he went ahead and entered into one of the portals. The portal that he'd taken had taken him to a pretty green world. He didn't mean green in that it was environmentally friendly, no it was just very green. Looking back towards the portal he saw who else would be tagging along for this world. Hunter and the pink hair girl. Small group, but it would be an interesting one to say the least.
Code Name: master of keyblades Full Name: Leif Walker Student I.D.: ♙ Date of Birth: 4/27 18 Telepathist/Telekinetic?: Telekinetic Personality: Leif can easily come off as someone who loves to start fights with others, that's due to living on the streets for two years. Put him in a more stable environment where no one rats you out just to make a quick buck and for starters he doesn't act as cocky in his own strength. He'll still be confident, but that just how he is regardless of what his environment is. That aside he's also quiet, but has no issues with speaking with someone should it be needed. History: After his mother had divorced his father, Leif had chosen to stay by his father side with the hope that things would not only work out in the end, but that his parents would also get back together. It was a simple hope for a simple boy at the time, but things did not turn out as he’d hoped they would. In fact they actually got worse. The finical situation his father was in had gotten worse and it had gradually started to affect Leif. As the years went by, more and more of him had started to lose faith in his father. The last straw however was when in an attempt to free himself from the current lifestyle they were living, sold out his own son to the Raven Sun Cult. This had left Leif in a state of anger and shock. Though there wasn’t much that could be done for his father was already long gone by the time the information had reached him. So lightning did work against him, that would be good to know. Unfortunately his left arm had gone a bit numb due to the lighting attack that he used. It would be fine given some time, but it wouldn't be usable for the moment. Which meant that he would be on defense until he could. So he kept the black shield active for the time being as Stratos ran at him again. Much like last time when he'd gotten within striking range the wind mage leap above him, which prompted Zephyr to move the shield upward. Though he didn't expect Stratos to summon a keyblade and start twirling with it. So he was in a pretty crappy position to block so he ended up taking the full attack. Fortunately nothing broke, but given the force of the attack along with the wind, he was sent back quite a bit. A stinging sensation lingered from where he was struck by the keyblade, so he placed his gauntlet covered hand over where he was hit and casted cure. The pain soon alleviated itself as the green glow faded away. "Geez, your good. Though I can't be too surprised by that." His left arm had started to twitch slightly, so while he wasn't able to fully move it yet, he would be soon enough. All he needed was time.
The giant mouse had been defeated and in the process of releasing Dale from its clutches, it manage to reveal to them the location of where the temple was. As helpful as that was he'd imagine that a bunch of trees being knocked down was not something that could happen without gathering some attention, so like Charlotte had said stealth may be an issue. Plus what if someone was already at the temple had sent the mouse to fight them. He didn't giant mouses came out of nowhere dressed like that were native to this island, but he did know nothing about the wildlife that was native to the area. So it just might be possible that the mouse was a native creature, but that wasn't very likely. "We might've already lost our element of surprise prior to beating the mouse. If it happened to be sent by someone who was at the temple, then they likely know that we're heading in that direction. " Ander had been the first person to speak to Dale after he'd been freed from the mouse and well, it probably could've gone better to be honest. In short Dale had threaten Ander and Ander just walked away. Least it ended in a sorta good way. After than had all happened Ra and Ander had started talking. He couldn't hear what they were saying and didn't really worry about it much. Some secrets should stay secret, unless they're meant to me shared. So the red haired mage just kept walking towards the temple. Hearing sounds of things being moved, Zephyr opened one of his closed eyes to see what was going on. He'd thought that they'd finally started moving. What he saw instead was the carriage rearranging itself and making itself more accommodating for them. That was actually a little bit cool. Plus all of the noise from earlier had lessened so he opened up his other closed eyes. Both his eyes may have been opened, but his gaze was turned towards the window of the carriage.
Zephyr Xross Avi To answer the question that Stratos had wondered, yes Zephyr was serious about using wind to fight him. It was pretty clear that Stratos had plenty of skills when it came down to wind magic and that suing it to fight him would not be the best of ideas, but Zephyr didn't have much choice. His preferred element was fire, heck he had both red and blue flames as his disposal. Using fire against wind would definitely not work against him. He wasn't all that sure about how lightning would do so that was a different matter, one that he would wait before deciding to use it. Which brings us to his choice to use wind for it was either that or a shield and he was no Captain America. Back to the fight at hand though, the wind attack had proven to be quite ineffective. Shocking. There wasn't much time to think about that though for the wind mage had ran towards him. The gem on his gauntlet turned pitch black in preparation for what was to come. The attack that he was expecting to come didn't, instead there was a gust of wind from above. Said gust made it quite difficult to look upward and keep his eyes open, but he managed to keep them open just enough to see that he somewhat see by moving his right forearm in the path. It didn't help much, but he was just barely able to see the elbow that was aimed for his face. The gem that was on his gauntlet formed a shield that would protect him provided he wasn't coming down with more force than it could handle. Lousy borrowed powers. Zephyr may have been currently holding up a shield in defense, but he did have another arm that he could use to fight. He sent a few sparks of electricity into his left fist and swung it towards Stratos. Now was as good as any time to see whether or not lighting would actually do anything. Hopefully it would have better results than wind did. The weak point of the phoenix had been revealed and the others weren't wasting any time in beating the crap out of the phoenix. Now whether or not the it revived itself after being defeated was a different thing, but they'd cross that bring when they came to it. During all of the phoenix beat down Xross had been trying to figure out how to attack it. He didn't have any means of flying so he could just go up close and personal against it. The best that he could do would be to shoot at it. It was tempting, eventually he gave in to the temptation and decided to go with it. With a quick snap of his fingers, a portal opened up on his left side. Snapping his fingers again. This time arrow of darkness had taken form within the portal and then fired towards the creature. Their target was both the Phoenix itself and any bombs that hadn't detonated yet (assuming that there are any). "The whole time." Avi simply said. After that well he got kicked off the griffin that they'd arrived on. Well that sucked, thankfully there was a conveniently placed bush that broke his fall. Now that he'd landed safely, the question now was what the hell was he suppose to do. There was the given 'Help Phantom' which could very well be an easy feat seeing as how 90% of his mirror related abilities are defense related. Well there was still the griffin so that could pose a distraction for some of the people here that were fighting. Meanwhile he'd could start prepping some defensive spells. First though, he needed to get out of the bush that he'd landed in.
*Insert joke here*
At first things were going well for the group as they fought back the giant mouse. Then the mouse had the bright idea of grabbing one of them instead of attack and the person that it choose to grab just happened to be Veilen. From the moment that he was picked up by said mouse, he was struggling to get himself free. Due to the position that he was in, he couldn't really swing his sword nor could he cast any spells. He was pretty much stuck until someone decided to help him out. Luckily that wasn't a long wait for him for Therity had attacked the hand that was holding him. The mouse let out a cry of pain before releasing Veilen towards the ground. Now unlike previous times where he's been falling towards the ground, he didn't land on his head nor onto someone. This time he actually managed to land on his feet. Huzzah! He the tighten his grip on his sword and attacked the mouse with a blitz attack. When Lucia had sailed off towards the other end of the pot, they were joined by a few more people. Dawn, the princess and Thomas. Well definitely wasn't expecting anyone else to fall down into this pot. Nor was he expecting what had happened next. The pot that they all were in had briefly shook before a giant figured had looked down at them all. It was a troll. Zwei wasn't all to sure about what to do in this situation since being in this pot kinda limited what options that they had. It was a good thing that Lucia had attempted to convince the troll not to eat them, if it'd work then it would prove very helpful to have a troll on their side. Looking at the carriage that they all were meant to ride in, all Zephyr could hope for was that. Well that and that mister high and mighty would shut his trap for once. Regardless of whether he actually did or not, he entered their means for transportation and sat close to the window. It was easier to fall asleep when your next to a window anyway, assuming to don't want to lean on someone else that is. Anyway he'd hoped that any bickering would take a short break while they were riding along, that hope went right out when Tambourine guy lit one of the seats on fire as to prove a point. Why couldn't he just wait till after they'd gotten to their destination or better yet after they were done with the mission to do that. Sigh. Mr. High and Mighty and Tambourine guy got an earful from another one of the people who were on the mission. During which Zephyr closed his eyes in an attempt to block out everything that was going on. If he were to fall asleep while he was doing so, then that would be just perfect.
An odd sight appeared before the group as they ventured through the tress towards the temple. An oddly dressed giant rat stood before them. It didn't seem like it would just let them waltz right past it, so they would need to come up some other way of getting past it. Maybe they could distract it and make a break for it. Sure the mouse might catch them, but they'd cross that bridge when it got to it. Unfortunately it would come to that for the mouse then grabbed Dale and stuffed him down his shirt. "Um, well then." He didn't know what else to make out of that, well other than how they would have to rescue Dale from the mouse clutches. So to start he held out his hand and cast thunder at the giant mouse.
Spending a point in Natsu for Zephyr
The slide seemed to finally come to an end with him landing on something that resembled a giant carrot. Okay, that's definitely strange. What more was that the carrot was floating in some liquid. Did the slide just take them all of a giant pot of vegetable soup or something? Well vegetable and meat soup, with them being the meat as Hasu put it. "So how do we find a way out of here or are we waiting til a giant spoon or ladle scoops us up?" Entering into the giant castle of a guild Zephyr walked in in his usual position. Hands in his pocket and well, that's it actually. The interior of the guild already had some people in, most of which looked normal with the exception of one ... person? Whatever. Another one of which had called over everyone that was new. Guess he was one of the people in charge then. Zephyr didn't know who other than himself actually was new, but there were quite a bit of new people here. That was good to know. When he heard what the mission that they would be going on was, he had a slightly confused look on his face. Definitely not the first thing he'd think he'd be doing. He wasn't the only be curious as to just why they were stealing a book. Most question that he would've asked had already been, so he just waited to hear the answers.
Renju is heading to Namek
As the group was teleported by a white haired man with a cool looking arm or gauntlet. as well as a brown haired kid He didn't look at it long enough to get a clear confirmation as to what it was for he instead picked up all of the cards that he had out during the semi finals and placed them back into his pocket. Next he got up and turned his attention towards the duo that had appeared before them. Zephyr looked to the white haired man (Apparently going by Nero) and as he looked over everyone he noticed that for some reason it looked like he completely ignored that he was there. Weird, but that was only person. It wasn't like the brown haired guy was going to do the same thing right? Exactly that was what had happened. Nero's companion had pretty much given him the same look, though the difference was that he also looked as if he was trying to figure something out. Hearing the man mention Kel was a surprise seeing as how Kel's been dead for quite some time. "Well grandson, but yeah I'm related to Kel." He started, before grabbing part of the blond half of his hair. "Well this part of my hair is dyed, the back is it's natural color." Now why'd he decide to dye half his hair a different color oppose to just dying the whole thing wasn't something that Zephyr could give a legit answer to, unless 'cause he felt like doing it that way' counts as a legit answer. It was a that moment that he realized something about the two in front of them, mentioning Kel had helped in the realization. Since just about everything that Kel had done (SOS and the short time in LvD) had been chronicled and put into a book and Zephyr had indeed read that book along with any other hero related book that he could find back him. He placed his hand to his chin as he put together the pieces. Let's see, judging by his appearance, he must e Stratos which means that the white haired guy is Ne- er Beuce. The later was kinda easier to figure out based off of hair alone. Upon feeling a gust blow past him, Zephyr exited his thoughts and saw that Stratos had attacks Rinox with various gusts of wind. Gust that would hit him if he didn't get out of their way. Before they could make contact with him, he rolled out of the way of the attack. When he got up, he noticed that barrier of wind surrounding Stratos. Well that might make this fight a bit more challenging, however this was also a chance to fight fire with fire, thought it would be more like wind with wind in this instance. The bi colored haired teen held out his right arm and focused his magic into it. He felt the magic within him surge within him until a gauntlet took form around him right forearm. Next he held up his right forearm and held it up as he called out "Come Green Gale!" The dim gem in the center soon lit with a light green color which was followed by another, but smaller, surge of wind appearing. This was focus at the palm of Zephyr's right hand until it made a visible blade of wind spinning in his hand. The wind covered gauntlet was arch back before being moved in a swift horizontal swipe. This cause the circular blade of wind to be sent spinning towards Stratos.
