Facing the 18 er 17 lance soldier would be an easy thing to do so long as he had double the weapons. That said, one of those weapons was a heartless so there was no telling how long it would last. Now if it was one of those fat heartless, then it would definitely last quite some time. That said it'd be pretty damn impressive for Kel to be welding one of those along side his keyblade. Digressing from that topic and returning to the matter at hand, his eyes scanned through the mass of heartless to find which one of would attempted to make a move first. Given the sheer amount of heartless that were surrounding him, it was quite a difficult task to do. They all moved the same way, made same clanking noise when they moved side to side and bounced the black lance parts to them. Kel might as well have been trying to find a needle in a hay stack cause he would have just as much luck finding a difference in the mass of heartless as he would doing that. That was when something had finally happened amidst the giant mass of heartless that surrounded Kel. A small amount of the heartless had finally decided to move, took them long enough. While the lance solders were far enough back that charging towards Kel with their lances aimed towards him would be a difficult thing to do without skewering some of their own in the process (not that Kel would have a problem with that) so that was likely not what they were going to do. Shame, that these heartless couldn't be team killing fucktards. Oh well, maybe there'd be another heartless that would not give a damn about anything else that was around it, friend or foe, and kill them all. That said, should he ever end up facing a heartless like that then he would definitely avoid being killed by it. That was when three of the four heartless that had finally decided to act leap into the air while the one who stayed on the ground ran towards the keyblade wielder. Once the one on the ground had gotten through the crowd of heartless and make it where Kel was standing, it wasted no time in trying to attack him. Kel responded to this by simply dodging the heartless before slashing at it with the lance soldier that was still in his hand. That just left the three heartless in the air that were now descending towards the blue haired keyblade wielder. One of which had been falling at a much faster rate than the other heartless and practically dove down towards Kel. In response, Kel angled the arm that was holding the lance soldier so that it would collied with the solider part of the heartless and his plan worked, cept fr one small detail. Instead of impaling itself on the lance, it crashed into Kel's fist. It was still enough to defeat it, but what happened to the lance soldier that was in his han- oh, he used up the amount of hits that it could take. So three was the magic number that one of the lance soldier could be used as a weapon for. Noted. Good thing his strength stat was what it is now, or there just would've been a dull clank sound as the heartless just brushed off the attack. But since that wasn't and wouldn't be the case, he could go ahead and deal with the reaming two heartless that by this point had landed back on the ground without doing anything. Kel decided to quickly dispatch of the two of them and thus used strike raid to cleave the two heartless in half before catching his keyblade as it returned. Boop Boop Even. Kel had been leaning against one of the walls as he waited for Goofy to give his response to his question. Judging from the look that was on his face, it was clear that he was actually pondering his words. Whether that mean that he did recall what Kel had described or not, he could only wait til Goofy had spoken up. Some more time had passed and Goofy had finally spoke up. While he had pretty much said that he didn't recall what Kel had said, the rest of what he said had intrigued Kel. He recalled Mickey mentioning that they'd been to other worlds and what if that had somehow affected their memories. That would explain why Camelot was familiar to goofy, but he couldn't clearly recall it. Though a problem with that theory was how was he unaffected by it. I mean he's been to plenty of worlds and remembers just about everything from each and every one. Even the things that he'd prefer to forget about. So there was that. Or in much less confusing way, maybe Goofy just bonked his head and lose some memories regarding all that. that would make sense as well. Upon hearing the footsteps and watching Goofy just run off towards them, Kel had attempted to follow behind but he was interrupted by something flying in front of his face. After dodging the attack, he noticed that it was another lance soldier that had gotten in his way. That lance soldier hadn't come alone either, for he'd brought about 19 more of him. "Really am glad there's not a behemoth this time." It wasn't even because of a potential second coming of Free Wily Cat, it was more that he didn't want to see what other messed up appearances that the behemoths might take. Kel then held out his hand and summoned forth his keyblade. These heartless were likely not going to let him through without some kind of a fight, which was perfectly fine by him. First he turned his attention towards the lance soldier that had attempted to attack him as he ran after Goofy. Instead of striking it down with his keyblade, he grabbed it and held like before the other heartless like a fencer would hold an epee. Kel wasn't worried about it getting free while he was holding it still, he had the strength to keep it within his grasp until he was done with it. With his keyblade in one hand and make shift weapon in the other he charged at the swam of soldiers, not wasting time in cutting through the first one his his keyblade. As expected it make short work of the heartless, but that didn't stop the other 18 of them from immediately going to attack him. The counter attack of the heartless began with two of the lance soldiers attack him at the same time, Since he has fought there kind of heartless before, his body was more attuned to dealing with their attack. So he ducked their dual assault and then impaled one of the two with the lance solder that he was using in his other hand. Now this was interesting to see. The heartless in his hand was perfectly fine, well let's not exaggerate. It was okay, definitely not fine, but compared to the heartless that it impaled, who dissipated into black dust it was in way better shape. As weird as that was, Kel just decided to use that to his advantage in fighting the heartless and went after the other one that had attacked him. After dodging the attempt to attack him, he cleaved the heartless in two with his heartless counter part. Fighting with both a heartless and a keyblade, that would make things easy for him so long as the heartless lasted. OOC: Words: 639 Exp: 30 Munny: 30
Just an update on the upcoming season of RWBY http://roosterteeth.com/news/entry.php?id=5678655
Damion just stood there, waiting for his sister to notice that he had her jacket. What he thought that she would do was to make her way through the crowd towards him upon seeing that he had her jacket. Going off of that, he didn't move at all. Least til he noticed two people moving onto the fountain. Despite not being able to clearly make out the appearance of the two people, he clearly saw the blue hair that Alisa had. Which made finding out that it was her quite easy. If that didn't, well... "Hey! Alisa's brother! Over here! By the fountain!" That definitely made it very easy. He had no idea who that girl was, but he could inquire about that later. After getting onto the fountain along with Airi, Alisa used this new perspective that she had to further look for her brother. With Airi's assistance she knew that he'd be approaching the fountain, still she couldn't see him in the crowd of people. "You lose something?" The voice, followed by a quick poke to her leg, cause Alisa to jump slightly. Her eyes looked down towards the voice and she saw Damion standing there, holding her jacket in his hand.
While the group ventured through the forest, Veilen kept his right hand loosely on the handle of his sword. Just in case something were to appear and attack them, that way he could quickly grip his sword and ready it. Or he could forget to grip it and accidentally send it flying into a nearby tree. No matter what scenario actually happened, he would be ready to draw his sword should the need arrive. As the others started to speculate about what they might find at the temple, Veilen came up with an idea of his own. "What if its a group of wizards instead of just one?" (Oh look, the banner has returned) After you know, not existing for quite some time, Zwei found himself sliding down a slide along with Lucia and Hasu. For the most part he remained silent up until he was asked where he was from. He figured that he might as well say something. "I'm from a town not too far away from where the guild is. It had a few tourist traps but other than that there's not much noteworthy about it."
Despite a fair amount of them going and attacking Cybrex, it didn't seem their attacks had done much to hinder him at all. In fact he pretty much just went ahead and trapped them all in some sort of binding. Xross hated being this close to "pure" light and was relived when the bindings were released. Man this starting to annoying him. If not for the fact that he used light to fight, he would've been one of the people who charged at him once more. Instead he held his hand out a formed a bow and arrow out of darkness. If he couldn't fight at close range, then he would fight at long range. So, with bow in hand, he let loose a volley arrows that flew towards Cybrex. Meanwhile in the Colosseum, Zephyr was sitting around playing cards. None of the enemies were worth the trouble of him actually fighting so he didn't. Yeah, let's go with that.
It had seemed like everyone had agreed on going out and searching for Calxiyn, however before they could actually do so another voice spoke it. It was Therity, who hadn't said anything since well her healing of Calxiyn. She was the only one who had spoken against the agreed plan of going out. "I've been thrown into the air twice now and I feel perfectly fine for a night expedition." He was a little bit sore, but nothing to seriously hinder him from moving at all. "But what if something does happen to her while we're all sleeping. If Calxiyn was capture by the one who cursed the island, then we can kill two birds with one stone if we go now." Despite all the things they didn't know about the curse, it didn't really worry Veilen much. Their mission was to break the curse anyway, so if one of them were to get curse then all they would have to do is to break the curse before things got out of hand. Plus he might get a cool demon arm in the process.
Standing near the counter of the local Blacksmith's shop in Corvus, a blue hair girl stood there gazing out in the distance. To any passerby they might think she was just watching the stop or a small few might even think that she was the over of the shop and that she was waiting for any kind of customer to show up. The reality of what she was doing was that she was waiting for someone to show up. He was suppose to be here a couple of days ago, but he was late. A first she thought nothing of it, but eventually she started to get worried for the well being of her friend. "Yo Ethel!" Familiar voice called out to the girl, breaking her free form her thoughts and caused her to look towards where the voice had come from. That was when she noticed that the voice had come from her blond and black haired friend, Zephyr. A smiled graced her face to see that he was unharmed, well aside from the gash on his cheek. The smile that had briefly appeared on her face had turned into more of a disapproving look on her face as Zephyr got closer. The look that she was giving him was definitely confusing him. Which was why he asked, "What's wrong is there something on my fa-" Shit. There was indeed something on his face. He'd forgotten to cover up the cut he'd gotten while fighting those bandits. In his defense, he'd forgotten about for after he'd wiped away the blood from when it was dripping down the side of his face, the blood had stopped all together. So it went to the back of his mind. Of course so did the fact that she would react like the way she was right now. Well now he knew why she was looking at him like that and the only thing that he could think to do in a time like this is to stall for time. He was hoping that some kind of distraction would happen and take her attention off of him and in a way, he got his wish. "You know its rude to keep a lady waiting when she clearly expects an answer." From the back of the shop a man with brown hair had emerged. Both Ethel and Zephyr knew him as Fang as well as the owner of the shop. "Go on, I'd like to hear this too." The hopeful distraction had turned against him as Fang spoke in his usual calm tone. Zephyr sighed, there wasn't much that he could to get out of this situation, so he simply started to explain to them what had happened. As he explained everything that had happened with the bandits, the cut on his cheek, he also threw in how the sword that Fang had given him was damaged and that he needed it to be repaired. His explanation did managed to calm Ethel down a bit, but Fang on the other hand. He wasn't all too happy about his sword being damaged again. In fact the first thing he said at the end of Zephyr's explanation was. "Do you remember what I said last time you broke the sword." Next time I have to repair this sword for you, it won't be cheap. Zephyr definitely did remember those words, and he thought he was prepared to handle any price that was thrown at him. That went out the window when he heard just how much it was. Hell he might as well leave the sword there for there was not way that he was going to be able to pay off the price. Following the declaration of the price, the two got into a argument. Which ultimately ended with Fang giving Zephyr three options. 1) He leaves the sword here. 2) He pays him (Which wouldn't happen at all) or 3) He can use the sword, provided he works off the price. Zephyr didn't like that he could just avoid paying the price all together, but in the end he went with option 3. Though the thing was, before he could actually have the sword on a loan, he had to run one quick errand, which wasn't told to him at the time. So with a frustrated sigh, Zephyr walked off further into Corvus, only to be followed moments later by Ethel.

Well that's one way to make Krowley's job easier. On a different note, equipping Blessed Thief for brawl missions.
With their task in the world being over, they returned to where they had started and , just as Zephine had cheered about, they were the first to be finished. "So did the other group get stuck with a harder task than we did or were we just faster than them?" Renju asked. If it was the latter, than they did pretty good considering how they were instantly knocked out and thrown in jail prior to their fight with Erza.
After the task of rescuing the princess and escorting her back was over, Kel let out a sigh of relief. That was quite a lot for them to go through given how it was their first job as musketeers, but they succeeded nonetheless. That was all that matter in the end. However that didn't change how the princess could still be at risk while the show was going on. So it was then suggested that they split up. Ananta was paired up with Pluto, who was already barking at her, Kross and Raisor were a team as was Steel and Donald. That left him working with Goofy. Least he'd knew that Goofy would have his back if the fight against Mim was anything to go off of. It was then that Kel realized just how quiet and uneventful patrolling could be. It probably was a good thing that nothign was happened while the Princess was at the Opera. Despite not verbally saying it, the internal monologue was enough to trigger the camera change. The camera moved back to Goofy and Kel just as Goofy had asked him a question. "Well I don't think blue hair is all that common, but if you were to have seen me before it would have probably been around a sword stuck in some stone." @Usagi Tsukino @Kross123 @O.KnightofTwilight @Iskandar
After he'd given his suggestion on splitting up to find Calxiyn and the others had both said their piece and thrown in some own ideas of their own, the curse possibly affecting them was brought up. If the light from the moon hitting one's bare skin was how someone was cursed with this curse, then Veilen was probably the one as the biggest risk, his upper half anyway. Ra then suggested that he goes and checks the temple alone, saying that his armor could aid him in resisting the curse. Ander and Charlotte then spoke up about joining him in his trip. "If we have to reach the temple, then why not all of us go. It gives us more eyes to possibly spot Calxiyn with, plus should there actually be something guarding the temple I'm we we can handle it just fine." Zwei looked left
While Sieg had been standing there waiting to see what would happen Jin had made the first move and made Wallace the target for his attack. Was he really about to kill someone over a chance to sleep on a bed. Yeah they had to kill other people to get this fair, but they weren't given much of a choice for that. They actually did have some kind of option of whether or not to fight this time. Despite all that Wallace was handling himself fairly well. Hopefully no one else would be killed in this mess.
Alisa stopped her scanning of the crowd to answer Airi's question. "Well he's slightly taller than me, has black hair and wears a jacket similar to mine, cept its red." She went to direct to her jacket to that they could have a visual aid of sorts, but she wasn't wearing it. It wasn't even that she was getting cold that was the problem with her not having her jacket, it was just an inconvenience should she need it. Which she just demonstrated the inconvenience of not having it when you needed it. Her eyes went back to looking around the crowd when she noticed something. She couldn't quite make it out because of the distance between, but it looked like some blue object that was being held above the crowd. "I think I see him." She announced to whoever was still there and willing to help. Meanwhile Damion was standing amidst the crowd of people. The show was cool and he did enjoy it despite being dragged out to see it, but he still needed to find Alisa in this mass of people so that they could go. That was when he noticed that he was still holding her jacket in his hands from when she wormed out of his grasp. She'd have to recognize it if she could see it, so he lifted up the arm that was holding the jacket above the crowd and waited with hopes that she woudl notice it.
