What's behind the green door? I'm still interested.
Hmm, I'll vote for the demon one first.
While no verbal response was given to what he said, Alisia did wave her hand at him. Since that could've been seen as her waving goodbye to him, Xross looked up to see something. Yup, there was a death clock/doom counter above his head. Was this her attempt to kill him? Despite not knowing anything about this spell, Xross doubted that it could truly kill him. He then turned his attention to the two that looked to start fighting. "My money's on the guy with the scythe." If he actually was betting against someone, then he either would've won or gain no money due to how quickly the fight was settled. While that definitely was was a let down, Xross did notice how the doom counter had vanished after she was knocked out. A spell like that would be more effective if the caster had some kind of defense until the counter was over. Speaking of defense, the hooded guy had appeared and didn't seem quite to pleased about her being passed out on the ground. "A little late to the party aren't we?" Things had an eerie feel to them as the group entered the castle. Odd since generally white and eerie don't go together, but this case seemed to be an exception. Freya had mentioned something about them not being along and while it was only glimpses, Zephyr could see the white creature wiggly about. They definitely weren't heartless nor unversed and they didn't seem to be the aggressors in this case. That honor went to the mute guy who went ahead and destroyed one of them. That might not have the best of reactions from the ones around them, especially since their behavior was quite unpredictable.
Aside from Zavion talking with his sister, there wasn't much being said between them as they walked towards the castle. Not that Zephyr was helping much to strike up some chat, but that wasn't one of the best things that he was good at so he decided against it for the time being. Maybe he would change his mind later. What he did though was take this time to look around and get some kind of idea of who he would be working with. First up was Zavion, which aside from the wings there wasn't all that much to notice aside from the possibility of him being emo. That was based purely on his appearance and nothing more. Next up was his sister, whose name he didn't know. The only thing that he could think about her was how she acted towards the brown haired guy with the weird arm that hung around them, speaking of which both the brown haired and blue haired one were about as equally quiet. That just left the brown hair woman who basically the only thing that he knew about her was that she had a kid, nothing else. It was definitely quite the interesting group of people, that was for certain. "So..." Zephyr started, decided to open up a conversation with whoever who answer. "What exactly are we going to do in the castle aside from looking for clues?" His question was pretty well timed seeing as how the Zavion, his sister and their quiet friend (who was quickly approached by the aforementioned sister) were the first to cross the bridge. Zephyr was the next person to step on the other side of the bridge and look at the castle before them. After going through about five different books, most of which were just journals, Xross had given up on finding anything of actually relating to the hero. In fact, he'd dare say that this was a waste of time. Sure he learned somethings about the late master, cause he's probably dead by now, none of that mattered in the slightest to him. Xross didn't even bother to put any of the books back were he'd gotten them from. He just left them on the ground and walked out the room. After about taking one step out the door, he heard the faint sounds of voices nearby. Across the hall to be exact, in the other study that was on the same floor that Xross was on. He could make out what was being said and highly doubted that it was any residents that had miraculously survived all this time. One of the journals that he'd read mentioned how they returned to their human bodies, thus making death a more likely fate for them. So it had to be one of the other people that had arrived here as well. Xross's curious nature had arisen as he walked into the study. It had appeared that he'd walked into some kind of hate scale between a silver haired girl and the brown haired. He didn't recall seeing the silver hair girl at all, but that wasn't such a big deal given the likelihood of her being part of the group. Anyway, back to the hate scale, bait like that was too easy for him to take. Instead he leaned his back against the door frame and spoke. "Lover's quarrel, that sure didn't take long." His gazed was directed not towards the two that were bicker, despite one of which having some kind of counter over his head. It was similar to a death clock in Devil Survivor cept no demons. Excluding the one keeping Xross alive. Avi waited for the goddess to say something to him, but it appeared that she was preoccupied with someone else appearing in the room. This person appeared right next to her and from what he could tell at this distance, bickering with her. It probably wasn't any of his business, but he couldn't help to be nosy. Man your nosy. Lucirx said, prompting Avi to shake his head. "This coming from the guy who walked all the way here in there first place." Avi said this quiet enough so that only he would be able to hear it. He'd hated having to explain the other guy in his mind due to all of the times that he's been called crazy and other things along those lines.
Kel had continued walking the way he was going, successfully taking his mind off of the painful Nequa related memories. His physical health was already at risk when ever she was involved, leaving his mental health one of the few things that were unharmed. Last thing that he needed was to lose that as well. There were only a limited amount of things that he was willing to lose whenever she was involved. It was at that moment that he realized that he was slowly drifting back to the topic that he was trying to avoid so once more, he shook the thoughts out of his mind. He'd assumed that the path that he was walking on would lead him back to the main house and for the most part he was right. However if not for the odd turns that he'd taken while he was lost in thought he would actually be closer to the house now, but now he was back near the at of Disney Town. He hadn't quite gone in a circle just yet, but he was close to doing so, that much was for certain. He noticed this and sighed. "Well, maybe there will be something that I missed." His wishful thinking had accomplished nothing since he'd pretty much found nothing different, even the ink graffiti was exactly the same. At least that's what it looked like to him at first. At this point Kel had seated himself under the ink, not at all worried or concerned with the possibility that some ink might drop on his head. Despite not being worried, he still looked up at the ink splotch above him and caught a glimpse of something peculiar. The ink seemed to ripple slightly with no help form any outside force or anything like that. Intrigued by this, Kel got up on his feet and took another, more closer, look at the two fencing swords.
You had me a Zatch Bell. That aside, the Alchemist and demon one also have my attention Along with the School of Despair reboot
Kel continued on his path back to the house in which they started out at, he was looking to see if there was any other ink graffiti left on the walls. Unlike the other times where he was looking for anything that stuck out and found pretty much nothing of interest, this time he actually had an idea on what to look for which would make finding it a lot easier for him to do. He'd just rounded a corner when he caught a glimpse of Karina dragging Glen off somewhere. If not for the whole incident that had happened moments after discovering Yen Sid's stone body, Kel probably wouldn't have thought nothing of it, but in this case he couldn't help but to feel worried for Glen. We all saw was Karina did to Kross within the confines of the arena just to win, through in being pissed or still being angry towards a person and things could get gruesome. Part of him wanted to follow in the event something did happen. He may not have been stronger than Karina, but he was faster and more durable (referring to his defense and all of the times a boss had beaten the crap of of him), so he was pretty sure that he could manage. However considering that he only caught a gimps of them and had no definite way of knowing where they went, he didn't Even if he did, he would likely end up blindly running around the town. So he would have to hope for the best. He'd taken one step forward before he noticed another marking made of ink nearby. Well that sure was lucky. Approaching the ink he noticed that unlike that previous one which was two fencing swords crossed over each other, this one was a sword in a stone. Was it referring to Camelot? That was the only place that Kel could think of that had a sword in a stone. In fact all sorts of memories from Camelot had started to re surface in his mind. The many fail attempts at pulling the sword, the encounter (and flirting) with Gilgamesh, Ananta's crystal doing who knows what to her mental state and finally the painful encounter with Mim, who'd jacked their keyblades, and Nequa. Those last two memories had brought about visible discomfort onto Kel's face. Every world that he'd gone to that Nequa had appeared in had always involve something nearly KOing him. Whether it be a chameleon heartless, a jaguar, a suit of armor, a freaking Hun and his pet bird, her appearance foretold pain. "I need to stop thinking about that." It was bad enough that he had to go through it once, so remembering it wouldn't be the best of things for Kel. So before his chain reaction trip down memory lane could continue, he took note of the ink and walked away from it.
Alright, I'll take part 2 then. Also probably won't be able to record anything till next week when I go back home for Christmas break
Eh, I'll give this a shot
Sure, I shall embrace the song of my people
As more and more people had started to cross the bridge, Zephyr figured that he should join them. The bridge seemed to be sturdy enough to hold all of them on it, least so long as Zavion could maintain it, which could've been a harder task if he wasn't being assisted in that task. Still he didn't dwell on that for long for he'd already started moving towards and on to the bridge. Once his foot had actually stepping foot made contact with the bridge, he noticed that ti was about as solid as one would expect any bridge to be. Least that was one less thing for him to worry about as he ventured further across the bridge.
By this point Kel had temporarily put his wandering around town on hold so that he could finish what was left of the ice cream that he'd gotten. There still had been little progress made in his search for any clues so one little break wouldn't do anyone any harm. He stopped in front of a nearby wall and started to lean on it. Kel then started to casually eat what was left of the ice cream that he'd bought. While he did this, his eyes glanced around every now and then so that it wouldn't be like he was just staring off in to space the whole time. Not that he was expecting to find anything. A few minutes had passed and the ice cream was soon finished. There wasn't much of a mess to clean up so he was able to just leave after finishing. Lightly pushing himself off of the wall, he took about two steps forward before he noticed something out of the corner of his eyes. On a nearby wall there was what from this distance looked to be some writing on a wall. As he moved closer to further investigate it, he saw that the writing on the wait was some graffiti shaped so that it looked like two fencing swords crossing each other. It was interesting and with how there were still some traces of it dripping that could easily imply that this hasn't been here for all that long. It looked like that he'd actually found clues, not surprising when he'd given up on finding one too. Kel eyes the graffiti a little longer, making sure to memorize it as quickly as possible before he started to make his way back to where the others were.
So you weren't strictly referring to Karina's most recent breakdown then. Before I forget, I cast for vote for Karina in October.
Wasn't Glen the one who caused drama for Karina?
Veilen had stood there and watched as Mikasa had opened the old shutter and looked at the potion that had fallen out of it. Well what do you know, something did come out of it. But it was something helpful rather than something either harmful or purely there for a jump scare. Mikasa then proceeded to toss the potion to Charlotte, who unlike Mikasa appearing to be in the room before he'd gotten there, easily could've walked into the room while he was looking through the first shutter. He gave Mikasa a brief nod before venturing back into the broken shutter with the green door. Veilen momentarily stopped in front of the door and reached out towards the handle to open the door. He opened it wide enough for his head to peek through first as it do a quick look around before actually going in. That way he wouldn't be completely running in blind. So he was to be looking through the track room with Beucette. Zwei didn't know how to feel about that at all to be honest given the little interactions between the two of them. So there really wasn't much room for him to have any complaints at the moment. As he pushed aside these thoughts, Zwei went ahead out the door and walked towards the Track Room. He didn't bother to see if Beucette was following him or not. She could find the place on her own after all.
Mikasa's usual expression on her face combined with the way that she said that did nothing to lessen just how creep and disturbing that answer actually was. Fortunately looking inside the broken shutter was enough to take his mind off of it. Even if the room inside the shutter wasn't in the condition that it was in, the sole door in the room would be more than enough for Veilen to want to get a further look at what was inside. That however would have to wait til he saw what was in one of the other shutters. "Well, I could always just open up another one. Not like something will come flying out if I did." Veilen replied to Mikasa's advisement. He then proceeded to move towards the other two un opened shutters and started to look between the two of them. Old and new, those were the two choices that he had left to make. Given how he wasn't expecting to see a room within the broken one, these two could hold anything or anyone. His foot had eventually started to tap his he thought about which shutter to open next.
So where's your avatar from? (just pokemon isn't a valid answer)
The smile that was seemed to be plastered onto her face hadn't faltered in the slightest as approached Roe. When she asked how did she know her, Alisa simply clasped her hands together and replied with. "No, but you do know my brother." Such an answer would likely only warrant more confusion without any further explanation. Which is why it was a good thing that Damion and his suit of armor has caught up to them before they could further question Alisa. The first thing that Damion did when he'd caught up to his sister was to place his hand on top of her head. "Geez your bad at explaining things." He then sighed briefly before looking up towards Roe and company. "Yo Roe. This would happen to be my younger sister." When that was taken care of, he removed his hand form atop his sisters head and looked towards the other two with Roe. One of which was likely a mutant, which as assume that it wasn't any spyrix related powers that gave them that appearance while the other seemed to be normal. "So who're they?
"If you say so." While Xross still had plenty of reasons to doubt and not like Dimitri, there were other matters that he needed to attend to right now. He could mess with Dimitri more next time he ran into him. That gave him more time to thank and quite possibly dig up more dirt to use against him. The whole 'Cruddy Brother' thing wouldn't last forever and he would need a plan b for when it did end. Of course that wouldn't be the sole thing that he thought about, in fact that would likely be a side thing. Xross may have been an ass, but he wasn't so much of an ass that his sole purpose was to torment one person. You'd have to get on his shit list for that and those who ended up there were verbally abused. Speaking of his shit list, there was something else that he needed to do now. Matthews was not particularly happy with the events that had just happened. Not only had he lost one of his targets, sure one was still there but odds were against him in trying to attack her, but now he had to deal with the one person that he didn't want to see at all. Yep, Xross had that reputation with some people, namely ones who he could easily beat. So yeah, things weren't looking all that good for Matthews. With the weird shadow things now gone Valken didn't really have much idea on what to do next. He'd pretty much just joined in on the fight without knowing what was going on, though he could probably assume that that was the case for most of the other people there. Well except the guy who'd just sat around watching everything unfold, but he wasn't here right now. He was actually considering walking off when he over heard something about studying one of those things. The studying part wasn't what caught his attention, but the injury part did. "One of those things did that?" Valken asked, moving a bit closer to the now forming group.
Making his way up the red carpeted stairs, he noticed that he was now standing in front of a hallways with a bunch of doors. The butler could've been hiding in any of of those rooms. Didn't help that fact that he was the only one up here still. "Guess there's only one thing to do." He took a second to crack his knuckles before walking up to the first door. He then lifted up his foot and with as much force as he could bring that wouldn't knock the door off of it's hinges and kicked the door in. Instead of apologizing for intruding on whoever may have been in the room, assuming that that was the case, he briefly looked in before moving to the next one. He then did the same thing he did to the next door and the next one and so on. Good thing they weren't trying to be stealthy at all or maybe they were and Veilen completely missed that. Oh well, to late now. After kicking open the last door, Veilen noticed the three windows in the room. Each one had a shutter in questionable condition. "Guess, we'l just have to pick one at random. Eh Mika-wait when did you get in here?" His red eyes had just noticed that the S-Class mage had been in the room before he had gotten there. While it was likely that she might have snuck past him while he was kicking doors in, but Veilen wasn't that oblivious to being moving past him. Most of the time anyway. Moving on to the window dilemma, Veilen approached broken shutter first and opened that one. Seems sensible that it could've been broken on purpose and not due to sheer negligence.
