As Veilen proceeded down the hallway, he looked over his shoulder and saw that so far he was the only person going this way. Considering he'd just barely heard Mikasa splitting them up into groups, he'd thought that he'd see someone by now. Unless of course he was already that far ahead of them. It certainly was possible assuming that they hadn't moved at all since he'd left. Veilen came to a stop as he approached the two stairs. Hmm, stairs with red carpet or wooden stairs leading down into darkness. Which one to pick? The red carpet possible meant that there was some sort of important room up stairs while the wooden stairs, those could mean anything ranging from good to bad. After thinking it over, he decided to go up the red carpet stairs. "If that's the case, then maybe we should inspect this Ouji board for ourselves." Zwei suggested. With the Ouji board being the likely reason behind this, what they needed now was a plan on how to approach the current situation. For what he could think of, there were only a few good suggestions that they could do. Breaking the Ouiji board might not end well nor would playing it. In fact using the Ouiji board as intended could just make things worse, but out of the two hat was the best thing that he could come up with.
Damion had made a few preparations before setting off. He needed to make sure that he took with him some equipment that was suited for where ever the bandits should strike. He had about two traps that would work and fortunately didn't need to be set up prior to any encounter so he made sure to take those with him. Damion also checked to see if he still had his dagger on hand, you never know when things might get a little hairy. His hand firmly gripped the handle of his blade. He held the handle for a few seconds before releasing his grip. That was pretty much everything that he could think to take with his, so he then hid the two trinkets on his person and started off towards his destination. Despite the mass of people that he would be walking past, none of them should recognize him as a result of any past encounters, but just in case he used the tattered cloak on his back to help simulate the look of someone who was just passing though. His eyes didn't move towards a single person, they remained focused on what was in front of him. While to him he may have been making a decent amount of progression terms of how fast he was walking to Southern Holmfirth, he would likely still have to wait for the bandits to make their move and who knows how long that might take.
What if I pick all of the ways to go
Are there any traps, cause Veilen would definitely trigger some of them
In an effort to kill time as well as keep himself preoccupied while he waited around, Zephyr had started to tap on the wall that he was leaning on. At first it was nothing more than simple times with the palm of his right hand. That soon became alterations of him switching between his knuckles and his palm all on the same hand. A few moments of this had passed and Zephyr had added his left hand into the mix. What started out as a simple beat had turned into a full blown rhythm that was only loud enough for him and anyone who happened to be close enough to him to hear. It wasn't like was doing this to attract attention or anything. His rhythmic beating soon came to a halt when he noticed that Zavion had made a make shift bridge of darkness that made crossing the gap easier for them. "You sure that there isn't another way to do this?" Zephyr questioned as he approached the bridge. It wasn't like he had a problem in traveling this way nor did he have a problem with darkness. Zephyr is someone who, depending on the circumstances, would prefer to take an easier way if there was one possible. So while he had no idea on whether or not an easier way was possible, it wouldn't hurt to ask.
After the spirit had been defeated in the holy flame, otherwise known as a simple fire spell, Veilen went to regroup with the others. It seemed to be that while they were dealing with the spirits that the butler had run off somewhere. If it was out of fear than that was one thing, but wouldn't hiding behind a door or someone be a bit better than running off into who knows where. If a door can easily take out a S-Class mage than maybe it would work for keeping one or two spirits back while they dealt with them. With Thomas, Gaius and Ra running off in search that left him the last person to go off in search. Really there were plenty of other people who had yet to run off in search, but he was way more focus on himself right now and thus he ran into the house in search of the missing butler. Much like Dale, Zwei wanted to go ahead and start searching for the spirit in question. Given how it had gone this long without directly possessing someone, according to Kiyomi there was some other scares but nothing along the lines of possession. If the Ouija board was what started all this, then maybe it could be used to lure the ghost/spirit thing out. Though nothing good comes from using one of those at all, like this job has proven fairly well. While he was in thought, he couldn't help but to over here the breast off (yes, that's what I'm calling it) going on behind him. He didn't turn around to look right away, though that could and probably would change easily should Scarlet go along with it. It would be a lie for him to say that he didn't notice how big her rack was, it was perfect for fairy tail standards. That's why he never says it. Thinks it is an entirely different and not often done matter though. Spoiler: Situation fitting image is go
Spoiler: Ciao Look like you all were
You don't have to like it, doesn't change how you all waited til the last day to do all your vote changing. Considering how I looked through the thread, there we out her chances for someone to speak out about what they think.
Gotta love the deadline sudden vote changes
After looking through the thread I once again found very little that stuck out as suspicious (shocking). The only thing that came even close to being suspicious was when Judge mentioned Spike's alibi. While I was going to call him out of that, the fact that I don't know how sick he is which may or may not justify his one post would be risky to much. Not to mention that given my current situation because of nothing sticking out to me, unessisary risks wouldn't benefit me. Also my iPod batteries my die soon as my latop batteries are out of power.
Yep, I'm still on Spike. But since being stubborn will likely gain as much progress as near deadline vote changes, I'll give some it some thought and see who else to vote for. Hopefully before my laptop dies.
That may be what you see, but all I see is people going back and forth, even more so now cause the deadline is near and people now are decided to change vote, the fact that its the first day is mentioned a few times as well as the primary reason for Spike getting his vote was due to his silence are not reason to think someone is mafia.
Because there is nothing to look into, that is why.
There's a different between disinterest and lack of evidence to make any solid reasoning, something you guys fail to understand. Instead of spouting random and untrue things this early on which would likely backfire on me, I'm being quiet until something that sticks out to me pops out, which aside from the overall wishy washy ness of voting for Spike there's nothing. All you guys are doing is basically waiting til the deadline to that questioning vote and since I have little plans on changing my votes, why should I follow along with the ones that are.
And I have none of those at the moment, of course i also haven't put all that much effort to come up with anytime
What more do you want from me. There really isn't all that much to go off on soon checking in is pretty much all I can do at this point.
##Vote: Spike Might as well since I can't think of anyone else to vote
Was not aware that this had officially begun, guess I'll go read up on what i missed.[DOUBLEPOST=1416169786][/DOUBLEPOST] I see how it is Al[DOUBLEPOST=1416170040][/DOUBLEPOST] Gee thanks, two votes all because khv failed to notify me
Once he'd been given permission to sit with them, Lucas did just that and started to eat his food. He'd been fairy quiet as he ate his food, simply listening in to what Hwan and Jin were saying. Though it was mostly Hwan that was speaking, choosing to listen in to what he was saying might not have been the nest thing to do if he'd known about the topic before hand. It was one thing for Lucas to remain silent as a result of not knowing what to say or anything about what was being said at the moment, but in this case most of his efforts were going to not show any visible discomfort. While nothing too stomach churning was being said, Lucas's thoughts were more than enough to make it seem a lot worse than it actually was. He was successful in keeping any facial expression of disgust or uncomfort from showing, but his eating was a different matter. It was a good thing that he'd chosen not to eat any of the lasagna or spaghetti or anything with red sauce or that would've made it harder to eat his food altogether instead of the slowed pace that he was eating. He turned his attention when he heard his name being mentioned. "N-no, don't worry about it. I'll be fine." If they'd been paying attention of how he was acting at all, then they would know that his words were further from the truth. His light blue eyes looked down at the remaining bits of food that he had left. The bell had singled that it was time to go to his next class, but he wasn't quite finish with his food just yet. Maybe if he'd just stuck around long enough to finish a bit more of his food then leave for his next class. Hopefully doing so wouldn't lead him to bee all that late to his next class.
Matthews waited patiently for a prime opportunity to strike. The fact that another girl had arrived had mattered little to him. He could easily kill two birds with one stone in this situation. His time magic also made this a lot easily to accomplish. It was a simple matter of freezing time around himself and his target, swiftly killing them and vanishing before the time bubble could end. Not many people had any way of countering this method, in fact there was only one person that Matthews could think of that could not only counter it, but also beat it with little effort. However that person wasn't here so there was no need to worry about him. The next thing that Matthews did was to freeze time around the area he was in. The radius was short and wouldn't last long, but it would last long enough for the kills to be made. His initial target was within striking range and he was about to make the first kill, but he failed to notice the portal that had opened up beside him nor the foot that came out and kicked him into the wall. The impact had not only surprised Matthews, but apparently ended the time bubble that he'd made. "For all that talk your brother does about protecting you, he sure does a crap job at it." It would be something for Dawn and Anta to not notice the sound of someone crashing into a wall, let alone someone else's voice. It was on a whim that Xross had decided to see where Dawn had gone off to so he wasn't expecting some guy trying to kill her. Normally he could care less about a murder attempt, but he'd rather not see a grown ass man break down and cry all because he wasn't able to keep his sister alive. In fact he really didn't want to see him cry for any reason what so ever. Xross saw that Matthews was starting to get up and remained his usual calm and smug self.
