Following his most recent pickpocketing, Damion had walked quite the distance before stopping on some crates and taking a nap. That probably wasn't the best time nor place to take a nap, but he was tired and so he did. A good couple of minutes had passed before some kind of paper had flew into his face. If not for the fact that it stayed there for a good while, he probably just would've ignored it. Nevertheless he tried ignoring and ended up removing it from his face and crumpling it up. "Who's the wise that threw this at a sleeping man!" There was nothing but silence in response to his question. Not the 'what's this crazy guy talking about' silence, but the 'no one is around you'. With a sigh he uncrumpled the paper that was in his hands and looked at it. He might as well see what it was about. His first read through of it was pretty much him just skimming it till he got to the reward part, in which he went back to the top of the paper and read the whole thing. "Hmm, what a pleasant surprise." Southern Holmfirth was pretty close to where he was now, so getting there wouldn't be much of an issue. The bandits he could handle should he play his cards right which left the reward all for him. A grin filled with anticipation showed on Damion face as he got off the crate. "Time to make some preparations and wait." This was probably the first time he's willing done something helpful for other people, but he did have his heroic and selfless side to him. It was just rarely seen.
The next to arrive on the scene with all of the heartless was the duo of Valken and Sirin. When they all of the the creature, they didn't quite know what to think of the situation. Sirin hadn't seen these creatures before but her innate and totally not twisted (It really isn't twisted) sense of justice lead her to jump into the fray. Valken on the other hand stopped for a moment to look at the creatures. They looked exactly like the creature that he thought he saw earlier so it was likely to assume that they were the same. Some guy had mentioned something about keeping one of them alive for examination purposes, which only gained a shrugged from Valken. They'd just gotten there so there was no in questioning what was going on at the moment. Not only did they run into the same black creatures from before, but there seemed to be another group of people there fighting. Dawn had easier escaped the kung fu grip of her brother to join in the fray, which started off by her talking to a complete strangers. "You've really lost your hold of things. First you let her get injured, now your letting two complete strangers, one of which I'm pretty sure is hitting on her, stand near her. For shame." Xross was enjoying being a catalyst for all this. It made dealing with him completely worth it. The next thing that he did was to go towards the tables and take a seat. They could do fine without him, besides he could observe both the creatures and the fighters from this distance. Sure he was still likely in danger, but these mindless creatures weren't smart enough find a way past his portal defense.
"Hey! Don't forget about me." Veilen had finally gotten up after being beaten and was sitting on the floor with his legs crossed. You'd think after that combination of bold, cocky and sheer and total recklessness he'd be upset that he'd lost, but Veilen didn't really care. Despite how quickly some of the fighters had went down, he'd actually enjoyed the fight. Mainly because he was one of the last three people left standing by the end of it but it still counted. He then got back on his feet and the first thing he did was to aside for listen to what the guild master had said was to turned towards Charlotte. "Those winds spells of yours really packed a punched. It literally knocked me off my feet." That took care of one person, now for the winner. While he was already being both asked and harassed about his healing. "So one of the perks of winning is everyone wanting to heal you." Not the best of perks, but that was definitely what it looked like from his perspective.

With double teaming being a thing and there still being a one turn cooldown on his cure, there wasn't a whole lot that Veilen could aside from to hope for the best as he casted thunder on Charlotte.
Like many others Mila was pretty full of criticisms for someone who'd gotten caught. Meh, Hawk had stopped caring about that kind of thing out some time ago. "Well I'm pretty sure you were already questioned in this exact spot so its a little late for you to start caring isn't it." He may not have been the most serious person, but it didn't mean that he couldn't pick out fault or holes in what people said, he'd just have to you know, try. Before she'd decided to show off her skills involving one of her weapons, she'd mumbled something about a slave trade. When she'd handed him her dagger, he flipped it in the air so that when he caught it he would be holding the blade and tapped her on the forehead with her own weapon. "That sounds like it was your own fault for being careless and you just want to find someone else to blame, not that its any of my business." The next thing that Hawk did was to sigh. Why couldn't see be this picky before he got here? Figures a woman would make more work for him that could've been easily been avoided. As she kicked the rest of her weapon forward she seemed fully determined to give him all of the grief of the situation, despite the other people being around her who where there a lot longer than she was. "I highly doubt that you could've escape, even if you could why wait for someone to arrive when that could've been your best chance, but again its not like that's any of my business. But if you really want a 'proper place' then I guess I'm obligated to take you to one." It was just one thing after another with all things. When this was over he definitely was going to take a nap.
Practically seconds into the fight starting various magical and physical attacks had been let loose. Veilen wasn't expecting to be hit by a stray lighting bolt or be blow off of the table he was standing on by a gust of wind, but he was still standing.Well he was after he'd gotten back off the ground as a result of the aero attack. When he did get back on his feet, he quickly saw how most of the people who'd originally accepted the challenge were already out cold on the ground, leaving three people still standing. One of which was quite barely holding on prior to the cure spell that he casted on himself. The way things were, Veilen could do one of two things, attack one of the two others taking out one of them and most likely leaving himself open to an attack or heal himself. It was quite rare that he would actually think things out before making a move, but he went with the latter. Veilen casted cure on himself.
The time had come for Veilen to make his move and he needed to find a target to attack. Gaius seemed to be challenging the flirt so letting them duke it out would be beneficial for him later on. So that left the golden armor wearing Ra and the one female in this battle. He then held out the palm of his hand towards Vormund and fired a bolt of lightning towards her.
Among the other batch of new members to Sapphire Eclipse was a red haired lad sitting at a table with his feet propped up. If one were to judge him by his outwardly appearance then they could easily assume that he was calm and relax. A contrast to the chaos that had started not too long after the S-class guild members had given their speech. Those people would be wrong. On the inside Veilen was looking at the four who'd accepted the challenged issued to everyone with excitement. it was entirely in his nature to jump in on this and be about as reckless as he possibly could. Hearing that bets could be made was only throwing more fuel on the flames as a smirk appeared on his face. The red haired mage was still silent as he got out of his chair and stood up, look oddly serious until he stomped his foot onto the table he was sitting at and pointed towards Gaius. "I'm betting 150 jewels on myself, for I will be the one to win this fight!" In that instance he not only reveled just how reckless he was, but the sheer amount of confidence that he had. Betting 150 jewels on a fight was one thing, but to bet them all on yourself? It took a special kind of courage to do something like that and Veilan was filled with that kind of courage.

Upon his arrival to the scene Hawk took note of various things. Aside from the one who came to get him, there were five other people there. Two of them were students, one was a special force, a random civilian and finally the target. For the most part things seemed to be under control, aside from the details that they needed him for. He was so close to taking a nap too, might as well get this over with while he's here. First he turned towards Mila. "While I'm certain that you've already been asked and gave answer to this, do you think that you could tell me the things that you've been running around saying?" His tone of voice was calm if not laid back, not giving off a single hint of any negative intent which would possibly make it easier for Mila to talk to him. Trust was a different matter and not much of a concern for him right now. "My name...Oh its Alistair." Leon was still going through his short term memory loss and what better way of continuing it then to give them a fake name. Though it did mean that he would have to remember that that was the name that he'd given them should they ever try to contact him, but who knows when that will be. When the other special force officer had arrived, Leon wasn't all that sure how things would go due to his apparent laid back nature. But a laid back officer was better than a strict as hell one.
Spoiler Not quite sure how a portal connects to Ruby, but going off of her mask maybe she used to be part of the White Fang before 'things' happened to her, resulting in what we saw.
Maybe she's connected to Adam in some way, least that's what I'm hoping for

In this state, Zephyr is able to channel the Azure flames into his fist and either strike harder or fire them at a designated target. Guardian Spirit of Vermilion Flame (Suzaku) - The gem changes to a red color. In this state, Zephyr is able to channel the Vermillion flames into his own fire magic and strengthen them. In this state, Zephyr is able to channel the White lightning into his legs to increase his speed or he can rain lighting down on his targets. In this case I am referring to the cult of Xindai (Yes there is a cult of Xindai, I have photo evidence). Anyway the sole reason that was brought up was for that was where Xross had been. His plan was to see if buff ons would lead him Xindai in some way. In reality he should've figured that the odds of that happening were pretty slim, but why not give it a shot. What he didn't foresee was a bunch of light purist raiding the place and pretty much following a kill on sight order. The end result of the clash had left Xross as the last person standing on the cults side, but he was very close to death. If not for the pact that he made with the demon that he contracted, he would've died there. His rash actions vary from either him being himself or in an acto of compassion, justice or honor. They usually fall under one of those three categories. Weapons: Enchanted Sword Armor: None AS: Fire, Thunder, Cure, Blizzard Strengths: Veilen is a resourceful man who can make the most out of what he's given. It may take him some time, but he can adapt to a situation after observing an enemy or after its kicked his butt enough time and think up a way to counter attack it. Weaknesses/Fears: As stated above, if there's any one reason for him to get his butt kicked repeatedly by one enemy is because he rushes in headstrong without waiting for a strategy majority of the tie. Should the foe be bigger and stronger than he is he'll either A) Rush in, realize his mistake and run back, possibly alerting said enemy to where his teammates are. Or B) Listen to any strategies being form. To anyone who works with him, you'd better hope that its the latter. On the outside he doesn't seemed to let the lack of fully knowing about himself bother him, but on the inside he fears that he'll eventually forget everything. History: Various points of Veilen's past are completely shrouded in mystery to everyone including himself. The identity of his parents, how he got his sword, things along those lines are what he has no recollection of. Hawk hadn't done much aside from kick bad and relax up until someone had approached him. He looked up to see someone saluting before him. "So they found and captured her already. That didn't take very long." It was clear from his manner of speaking that his was fairly laid back for a special force. Still it looked like that he was certainly was going to have to do something now. "You can stop saluting now and lead me to where Mila is." It was something to see the girl who was going to interrogate him fall on her face. Maybe he would be able to talk his way out of this situation, not that he was really told all that much regarding the things Mila was saying. So he could easily try to BS up some answers like he was good at doing or he could tell the truth which was that she didn't tell him all that much. Question was, which option would let him have the most fun. In the end he decided to go with BSing an excuse, despite that not being a part of the original options, as he cleared his throat before speaking. "Actually I don't remember the things that she said, so I don't know how much help I would be of." Leon made sure to speak in a tone that would make his words more believable. "You see I suffer from short term memory loss and with the stress of what was going on around me, I just forgot." The line had been cast and the bait was set. Now to see if she would take it or not.

Not the first thing that he was expecting, but he would be sure to make a note of that for future reference. Next she he'll out her arm for him to take a look at her injuries. They were unusual to say the least. "Hmm, I'd have to guess that its some kind of mark or residue from the creatures that appeared earlier." Before he could cay anything else about the marks, Sr. Pain in the Ass had walked in the door. The first thing that he did was to say that he didn't have the right to be near his sister, which if he'd listen to him Dawn probably would have either died or ended up in worse condition that she was now, but that little information flew over his head. Especially considering how he said that he couldn't even protect him. "If I remember correctly dipshit, you said that protecting your sister was your responsibility as her guardian and seeing as how you got here later than I did, the outcome could've been a lot worse if I hadn't intervene. As Dmitri left the house to go the the hospital, Xross was following behind him. No hospital was going to save his idiot from his wrath. Heck the hospital probably won't even help Dawn at all. "Taking her to a hospital won't solve anything if they don't know anything about what caused the wound." Despite his words odds were high that he wouldn't hear a single thing that he said and would still take her to the hospital only for what he just said to be proven and lets throw in the likely chance of Xross being blamed again cause Dmitri can't admit when he's the one at fault.
