The next person to enter the room was Kel, who was quite surprised at the sight before him. The room was showing signs of either a struggle, something throughly looking for something or even both. Books were pretty much thrown on the ground all over the floor. Various kind of objects and trinkets too were scattered about the room. All this destruction of a single room makes you wonder if the perpetrator even found whatever he was looking for, or did all the effort that was but into looking wasted. Next thing that Kel noticed was when he took a step further into the room. First he heard a splashing sound as his foot made contact with the ground. The noise prompted him to look down towards the ground and see that he'd stepped in ink which made a trail leading to a mirror. Next came the stone statue of Yen Sid sitting in his chair, smirking at his fate. Kel might not have know what events lead to him turning to stone, but that smirk was likely his way of saying that everything had gone according to plan or something along those lines. While Kel mentally tried to get a grasp on what had happened, Kross had turned to Hikaru and questioned him on Yen Sid's current condition, which Glen was the first person to defend Hikaru. "Easy there, like Glen said Hikaru was with us back at Central Haven. Heck I saw him riding a giant elephant during the battle against all those heartless so I doubt he knows any more about what happened than we do." Granted on the off chance that he did, it was something that would need to be explained soon. His eyes went back to the ink trail and the mirror that it lead to. Well it certainly was suspicious enough. "So the mirror either leads to a trap or the location of the culprit. A 50/50 chance. Eh, I've seen worse odds."
Kel could've sworn that Karina had smiled at him before she headed towards the tower. His back pain wasn't causing him so much pain that he'd start hallucinating, especially after all of the healing that he'd received. "Weird, guess there's a first time for everything." He started to make his way to the tower when he felt Luna move around. Guess she finally woke up. "Long story short, we're at Yen Sid's tower who hopefully will help us out." He left out the details pertaining to the fight against the behemoths, mainly cause he didn't want to think about that again for a long time. As he followed behind every into the tower, he looked up and saw how high the spiral staircase went. Good thing he wasn't afraid of heights, otherwise the ascend up the stair that he'd begun would have a added difficulty.
*doesn't vote* (yes, I felt the need to post this)
A few moments of silence passed before Xross gave any kind of reaction to what Dmitri had said. Normally one might respond with equal arrogance or given give in to the whole run option, but what Xross did was what no normal person would do. He started to chuckle to himself at nearly everything that Dmitri had said to him. It all was quite funny. "That's quite the sister complex you have. Are you going to use that sword and scare off everyone that tries to get close to her, condemning her to a fate of loneliness and isolation from the outside world." His laughter died down as he again started clapping. "If so the bravo. Your in the running for the 'Worst Brother of the Year' award, I wonder how that makes you feel?" Both his clapping and laughter had faded as Xross sighed. The over confident ones were so one sided and easy to toy with. "Your going to beat up a poor defenseless man with one eye to prove yourself to your sister? That just might bump you up to first place." That said, didn't meant that he wasn't going to play along with him. "Tell you want, I'll take you up on your offer. In fact, I'll even take a handicap. I won't even use a weapon against you." To further prove his point, not only did he stand his ground, but he held his arms out to his side. There was little way that he'd be able to grab a weapon while in this position, but he wouldn't need one.
Before Dmitri and Dawn could begin round 2 of their sparring match, they would be interrupted by the sounds of clapping. The clapping only got louder as the man behind it slowly approached the backyard in which they were using as a training grounds. "It must get boring to face the same person time and time again. Especially when said person could grow accustom to your method of fighting and turn the tables." Despite how he generally disliked speaking with other people, he did not have a stuttering problem nor did his mumble his words. Xross spoke in a clear tone that would definitely reach them loud and clear. "It would probably be in your best interest to find a more capable opponent to face." This was directed towards Dawn, knowing that Dmitri would hear and likely act within Xross's predictions.
In a fairly secluded area the sounds of metal hitting metal could be heard. The source of the noise was coming from a practice match between Valken and Sirin. It was part of the usual routine that they had started doing as of recently. Under normal circumstance a once revered warrior such as Sirin would likely not be training with someone such as Valken. Despite this he managed to convince her though a series of begging and taunting. Like the saying goes, "The end justifies the means". A few more minutes has passed before they had stopped in order to take a break, which prompted Valken to fall on his butt in exhaustion. "For once can you take it easy?" He asked between breaths. "Oh come now, you can't be tired already?" Sirin replied. While she had the advantage of years of specialized training and combat experience, she definitely wasn't going to let him use that as an excuse. "You can fight with two swords at the same time and you can't match someone who only uses a lance, what a shame." Valken sighed as he got back on his feet. "First off, half the people I faced aren't as skilled as you. Second, considering how little you wear its not all that shocking that you have less of a burden to carry. Then again" His eyes drifted towards her chest. "You do have quite the burden on your chest." Now Valken wasn't a perverted man, but he make a comment along those lines every now and then. That comment in particular had not only granted him a annoyed look from Sirin, but she along threw her lance at him which just barely missed his head. It was her way of saying that she was ready to resume the match whether he was ready or not. Elsewhere yet another person currently had his attention focused on a book. That person name was Xross and despite only having one functioning eye, it didn't seem to hinder him in anyway at all. At a distance it would look like he was ready a book on top the roof of his house without a care in the world, but in reality not only did he have some cares for the world, but some of his more favorables ones were recorded in the book within his grasps. Xross has spent a good while flipping and scanning the pages for anything that was of interest, but with a unsatisfied sigh, he closed the book. Nothing but old, outdated or uninteresting information. It would seem that he would have to find some new things to record, which also meant that he would have to interact with people and that was something that he always tried to avoid if he could. Mentally he was partially torn between these two options. Ah why couldn't things be simple...simple to him anyway. The mental debate was getting him nowhere so it was soon put to an end, just in time for the sounds of people sparing. Dmitri and Dawn to be exact. How did he know their names? Where he house was compared to their along with the fact that he generally hung out on the roof allowed him to overhear them while they were sparing. With Xross living in a some what rural area, it wasn't all that hard for him to identify the source due to how often it has occurred so it wasn't long after his realization that got on his feet and started to turn away. At first he was planning on heading back inside when an idea dawned on him. He needed something to observe and there was a perfect test subject nearby. The issue of interacting with people wouldn't be that big of a deal in this instance for if his idea worked, then there would be less talking and more action. This was going to be a fruitful endeavor that was for certain. He held up his hand with the aid of his space magic, he formed a portal take would quickly take him to the ground. Once his feet were on the ground, he briefly dusted off his jacket. If he was going to pay his neighbors a visit, then he would have to look his best.
I say Aqua. She had to go through her friends suffering and there wasn't much that she could do to prevent it.
"Yeah, there's still my first question that you ignored." Damion spoke out, not at all fazed by the gun that Alex had pulled out. It wouldn't be the first time that a gun was pulled out on him. Getting an answer to his earlier question probably wasn't the most important thing that he could ask right now, it still didn't change the fact that he wanted an answer to his question. Now that that was out in the air, Damion started to ponder about the what was recently said. The name D.A.S.T.A did sound familiar, but so did many things that he'd ended up ignoring so he'd probably just look it up later. Next up was this Maria Colt person. From the few details that were shared with all of them, the fact that she was not the most fortunate person was pretty clear and again the idea of these people helping her made sense if they'd actually gave her more support instead of sending her a letter. Seriously though, seven siblings all abandoned by their parents. To him that sounded more likely in a depressing book, which he read quite a lot of depressing stories a while back. "Secondly, what did she mean when she said that Maria 'Was the smartest of everyone who answered the letter.'?" He didn't bother to ask anything about hidden motives or anything along those line cause he doubted that he would even get an answer, let alone one that could justify any of this. In fact there was a risk that the answer that he was given wouldn't be all that satisfactory, but they would need to get answered before he could decide whether he accepted them or not. Not that he really had much choice in the matter.
Karina's attempt to stand on her own two feet had ended with her leaning on Kel for support. That last for a few seconds before she realized that she still leaning on him and got off. While she had attempted to show that she could stand on her own two feet again, she clearly wasn't in any condition to do so. Cat had soon approached him and handed him a hi potion, which he wasted no time drinking. Once he was finished with the healing liquid, he could no longer feel the pain in his back, though if pressure was applied to the area where the wound was, then he probably would feel something. "Thanks." He said to Cat. After more people started show up, talk about Master Yen Sid started to circulate. Mainly they were saying how he could probably heal all of them. That definately was good to hear. Before following the others, Kel went to pick up the still KO'd Luna and place her on his back. Not the best idea for a sharp pain shoot throughout his back as a result. Kel gritted his teeth together until the pain ended. "Do you think you can walk the rest of the way yourself?" He asked Karina.

Maybe her being part cat has something to do with his dislike for dogs.
Yes, yes she did. Okay? Was kinda hoping that Ruby's uncle would be the huntsman that they were shadowing, but their reactions were hilarious.
So Blake doesn't like dogs it seems
Guess I'll ask for a critique too, even though i can guess what most of it will be about.
No one suspects the Mok, except for all the people that did near the end.
