Hearing Beuce’s words that he would be more active in their fight against the behemoth, ignoring the part about this Rienzel person, he felt slightly at ease since now it would be two versus one. Not one on one on one one...you get the point. Kel took a few steps back after he’d finished with his assault on the heartless. Now if there was one that he'd learn from when he was fighting the behemoth along, it was that if you used the same tactic enough times it will find a way to avoid it. Most likely in a ridiculous and completely unexpected way. So once Beuce had finished making and had gotten injured by the Behemoth's attack, it was his turn to face the creature. So first thing that he did was to launch off another blizzard towards the heartless, though this one moving a lot slowly that the past ones that he has used. It was then that he held his keyblade similar to how one would hold a baseball bat and swung with most of his might at the slow moving shard of ice. Once the shard of ice met with the force that the keyblade had, it shattered into many pieces all shattering towards the Behemoth. Once again the behemoth was met by a rain of ice, in fact two of the shards injured its eyes, again blinding it. No doubt this would definitely tick off the behemoth, but Kel could honestly care less about that. As the heartless gave out a pained roar as Kel moved into attack. Holding his keyblade in a reverse grip fashion, the blade lit on fire as he got within striking range of the behemoth. First he delivered two quick strikes to the legs that were still grounded, which lead to the heartless making a futile attempt at trying to kick Kel away with its hind legs, once it was managed to get back on the ground of course. Kel had managed to dodge the attack, which gave him the opening he needed to strike the heartless again with his flaming keyblade. This time he made sure to strike its as many times as he possibly could before dodging an attack. Once the attack was dodge, he would repeat the cycle, striking each of its legs as many times as he could. His hit and run tactic came to a halt when he ended up in front of the heartless again. Naturally by this by point the Behemoth wasn't all to fond of what Kel was doing and thus went for another attack. This one surprisingly faster than the last. In fact the speed alone had caught Kel of guard so he was just barely able to guard the attack. He was still sent back a considerable amount of distance and was hurt, but he still didn't feel the need to heal himself just yet. Probably because most of the other occasions where he healed himself he was in worse condition than he was now. So unless the behemoth, and if it does do this there will be some BS to be called, shrinks down to human size and or suddenly learns kung fu, he didn't have to worry about getting beat down by numerous blows at once. There was still the risk of getting hit by one powerful attack, but so long as he could dodge or block most of it, then he should be fine for this one behemoth. That was when he realized that there were 9 more that he would have to deal with after this one was done with. "So how long til we make our gruesome last stand?" Kel asked in a tired, but joking manner. OOC: Words: 623 EXP: 60 Total: 288 Injured: Behemoth 44BP spent
Shows how determined he was to convince Weiss, not that it worked at all
I'm guessing that he doesn't think that he has a shot with Pyhrra or something that justifies his repeated attempts to ask out Weiss
Again, being oblivious is a common trait. But that trait always has them eventually finding out that said girl likes them.
Huzzah!
Cause being oblivious to things like that is a common trait among select anime males
So I've finally been able to hear Micheal's voice when Sun speaks. Would've been easier if if Sun anger yelled at someone.
Leon stayed in his spot, selling questionable information for a few more minutes before he closed up shop. He'd made a good enough profit for today and thus it was time to find another place to set up shop. He never made his location well known so that he wouldn't have to worry about any people coming to him with complaints. They never could find him after he left, which showed wither how stealthy he was or how foolish his clientele are. His waled had taken him to the main square of Potenza, where a girl seemed to have walked into the center. Leon didn't hear the firs thing that she'd said, but her yelling came in loud and clear. Weird, the things that she was saying sounded similar to the things that he made up, but of course people believed him. It probably helped that his lies were slightly more believable. That or people who came to him were idiots. It was pretty clear that no one was going to listen to the girl and it was pretty sad sight to see. Leon stood there for a bit, watching the other people in the surrounding area walk by and sighed. He figured that he might as well humor the girl. So while the other people walked to wherever they were planning on going, he approached the girl and asked. "Is what you say true?" A pretty standard question for a situation like this.
yep, that would be me
Possibly, still need to watch the first World of Remnant anyway.
While Beuce was busy staring at the now charred and shorter skirt that Karina wore, Kel took this chance to strike the Behemoth while he could. So with keyblade in hand, he ran towards the behemoth. This time around the heartless noticed him before he was right in front of it and rose up on its hind legs. While that did absolutely nothing with Kel still having some distance between him and the heartless, by the time its two front hooves came towards the ground with the help of gravity, Kel was in range of being squashed by the heartless again. However this time around the young wielder wasn’t in a state of pure shock so was able to dodge and strike the leg with ease. His actions, as expected, didn’t please the heartless in the slightest and was clearly shown when it went into a stomping rampage, trying to flatten Kel. Fortunately for Kel he was able to dodge and strike each leg repeatedly while he was under the Behemoth. It even came to the point where Kel had grabbed on to one if its legs during the frenzy, which despite increasing the risk of him being crushed if he’d fell off, gave him an easy way of completely beating on one of the legs till the Behemoth collapsed on that said leg. By that point Kel had already made sure to release the leg. Now that it was stumbling to try and get back on its injured leg, it was a golden chance to deal more damage to the beast. The question was what was the most effective way that he could deal damage it. Sure he could just use Zantetsuken and be done with it, but that was more of a finishing attack. So if he could find some other attacks to combo it with and then use Zantetsuken, then could deal even more damage compared to just using Zantetsuken. Well that took care of the planning process, but he still needed a way to effective use all them. Kel thought about it for a moment and came up with one idea. In fact, one of his ideas almost seemed like the one that he was going to do, if it wasn’t for the fact that he was nowhere near fast enough to perform all the quick movements that the plan required him to do. Now if he could, then it would definitely be awesome for him to go through with this plan. Moving on to the next idea that he had, there wasn’t all that much that was out of his range of doing. In fact, all of it was within his capabilities and that was what sealed the deal on what he was going to do. First thing that he did was to stab his keyblade into the ground in an angle. Then he waited for the behemoth to turn to face him, where it would be greeted by a simple, yet provoking taunt from Kel. Everything that followed went according to his plan. Seemingly enraged by the taunt the Behemoth ran towards the wielder like a bull seeing red. Now this was definitely a huge risk that he was taking, for Kel waiting till the beast was almost able to completely mow him over before stomping on his keyblade, flicking the heartless into the air. Next he sent another blizzard spell into the air before recalling his keyblade back to his hand and getting in the preparation stance for Zantetsuken, only this time it was aimed upwards towards the falling heartless. As the snow and cherry blossoms fell from the sky, Kel unleashed Zantetsuken on the heartless, which also shattered the blizzard spell above it. While the behemoth fell towards the ground, the piece of ice that was shattered by Zantetsuken broke into smaller pieces, all of which rained down onto the Behemoth with the help of gravity, which forcefully caused the behemoth to come crashing down onto the ground behind Kel. The impact had cause some dust to fly into the air and once again placed the heartless in a small daze. OOC: Words: 689 EXP: 30 Total: 228 Injurded: Behemoth 22 BP Dealt
I wonder if Adam will make an appearance again. So far he's the one person who was in a trailer who hasn't appeared in the show.
While Kel waited for Beuce to attack the behemoth, he made sure to keep an eye on it so that it wouldn’t try anything. Not that he thought that staring at the heartless would actually stop it from doing anything, but one could be hopeful. That much was he could do. As he continued to wait for Beuce to do something, he heard him gasp. Figuring that he’d just come up with an idea, only to find that the realization that he’d come to was about some peasant. Nothing that he needed to pay attention to. As for what followed the second gasp, that was a different story. Taking into consideration how every time something had nearly beaten the crap out of him Nequa had made an appearance in the world and with the fact that the guardians could only be challenge by masters, it was pretty clear that he was going to try to pass the Mark of Mastery. “Sounds like a plan.” Indeed, he was going to fight fire with fire, but he wasn’t going to use any magic against Nequa, no he was going to use Runes against her and even more specifically he was going to use Shining Rune Buster on her. There would be no escape from the awesome power that is Rune Slayer, but he would have to pass the Mark of Mastery to even get there and first he would have to get past all these heartless. After an interesting display from Beuce, that somehow managed to damage the behemoth, Kel got ready to attack. Seeing as how’d already made a close range attack before and didn’t want to risk it catching on to his attacks, Kel held his keyblade out in front of him and turned it sideways. Then with the help of his blizzard magic, a mold of a bow and arrow took shape. Kel then grabbed the back of the arrow and pulled back, aiming the keyblade/bow towards the ceiling before firing it off. As the arrow flew through the air in an arc, it passes by a single light above them. It was at that point that the one arrow broke apart into numerous ones that rained down onto the Behemoth. This was the second time that his entrance in the archery tournament back in Nottingham had pained off and it probably would be the last time that it did. Once that was taken care of, Kel heard Beuce call out to him. He had no idea why, but seeing as how these heartless were actually giving them time to not focus on them, he didn’t question it too much. So when he got there, the first thing that Beuce did was shoot off a fireball that landed directly on Karina. Much like, though not as bad, as when the behemoth turned into free wily just to get over a spot of ice, Kel was indeed staring over in Karina’s direction out of confusion. Though unless Karina did something like frolic with a basket full of flowers and her own flower crown, which would be a sight to see cause this is Karina we’re talking about, his gaze didn’t stay in that direction for long. Now there was no telling what she would do in response to do, but Kel wasn’t all that worried about her reaction. Not because of the 5 point gap in strength they have, he wasn’t worried cause despite the fact that he was staring in that direction Karina would more than likely aim her aggression at Beuce. Then again as far as he knew she didn’t know that many long ranged attacks so hell, even Beuce might be safe for now. Emphasis on the for now. All was silent around the white haired body as he focused on his target in the firing range. Unlike the regular targets that just stood still, this one moved form left to right at a medium pace, which was as close as they could get to simulate an actual person moving around in combat. Not that there was anything wrong with that. To Takeshi it was all the more reason to concentrate and focus on getting the kill. So as he gazed at the target through the other end of his scope, his breathing slowed down to the point where he was holding his breath. The reticle was trained on the target representing the heart. His rifle, breathing and aim were all steady, all that was left was to wait for the right time to pull the trigger. Time seemed to drag out as the swing slowed down from him in his eyes, and when the target had passed over the reticle. BANG! The bullet left the barrel of the gun and flew towards the target. Takeshi's breath soon returned to normal as he looked to see his handy work. The bullet hole was right where he'd wanted it to be, through the heart. A easy kill if the dummy was a real person. Still as he packed up his gun, something felt off about this to him for some reason, was the it notice that he'd read about this Mila person. If her mental state was as the notice had said, then getting a clean shot on her may not be as easy due to any unforeseen actions. Still worrying about it wouldn't help at all, so he simply stopped thinking about it was and left the shooting range to head towards the lunch hall. ~ Sitting in at one of the back tables was Hawk, who from a distance looked to be taking a nap with his feet propped up on the table that he was sitting at. Probably not the most professional way to see someone of the Special Forces, not that that mattered to Hawk. The laid back personality he was currently showing was just one of the many that he'd developed during the time he'd spent drifting from one place to another. It was good for throwing people off guard by lowering whatever expectations that they may have made of him via first glance. His actions on the other hand were more than enough reason, to him at least, to no worry about many things. Though with that being the case, the notice was still on his mind. ~ "Thank you for your service...sucker." Said the con artist known as Leon. His latest scheme had him posing as a alley informant giving out information of various credibility. Some of the people that came to him were so gullible that he could blatantly lie to them and they would not only believe it, but they would pay him for any additional information. "Man the people here are easy to fool." As it was right now, he's yet to meet anyone who could see through his lies or came back doubting his information and to be honest, he wasn't worried about that should it happen. Leon's been doing this for quite some time now, so one little bump wouldn't deter him much.
Before Kel could say anything in return to Beuce, the Behemoth started to charge an energy ball which was likely going to be aimed at him. Taking into account all of the attempts that this heartless has taken in trying to kill him, it lead Kel to assume that the heartless was either a vengeful man or a pissed off woman. He came to this conclusion based off the saying “Hell has no fury like a pissed off girl” and while that may not be the official wording of it nor even an actually saying, numerous evidence throughout the years, or just by looking at Karina, has proven this to be true. So you can’t blame him for coming to this conclusion about why the behemoth was this determined to end him. Fortunately Kel didn’t have to worry about the attack for Beuce had attacked while the male or female (assuming that they even have genders) heartless was charging its attack, saving him from what possibly could’ve been a large and hard to dodge attack. While Beuce had continued to deal damage to the heartless, Kel had gotten ready to enter the fray yet again when he was blinded by a flash of light. When his vision had returned, he found that he was now in some kind of spinning tea cup. He had no time to even figure out where the tea cup was taking him as he continued to spin round and round like he was part of some never ending ride. When the tea cup finally disappeared, it was suffice to say that Kel was quite dizzy with all of the spinning that he’d done. In fact the room was still spinning as he tried to keep himself from falling onto the ground. The world had finally stopped spinning and the young wielder could actually see what was going on in front of him. It seemed that the teacup had forcefully taken him away from the battle, something that Kel wasn’t quite sure how to feel about. Looking back towards the heartless, he saw Beuce get knocked flying by its hoof and skid across the ground, ending up right next to him. Seeing that made him all the more glad that he actually managed to avoid getting impaled while he was stuck in the bookshelf earlier. As Beuce got back up on his feet, he mentioned one of the few good things that actually happened in Camelot. He was right about one thing, he definitely wanted payback on the heartless and it wasn’t even for the attempts of killing him. It was for the total BS that was it leaping over the frozen ground like a free wily cat. There are certain things that aren’t supposed to happen and that were definitely one of them. “Yeah, let’s give it hell.” With that he casted magnify on his keyblade before charging at the heartless. His keyblade shined brightly as the gap between himself and the behemoth closed. The heartless took notice of this and quickly tried to crush the blue haired teen. Kel to notice this moment of attack and sung his keyblade in a rising arc motion to counter the foot. With the doubled power given via magnify and Kel’s own strength, his attack succeeded in not only countering the heartless but also sending it flying in the air. Continuing with his attack, he leapt into the air and ended up right above where the Behemoth had stopped. This time with a mightily downswing of his keyblade, he sent the behemoth crashing down into the ground below them all. Such was the fate of all who were struck by aerial slam. Of course this wouldn’t be enough to severely hinder the heartless, Kel knew that much already. But it could only take so much of the combined attacks of Beuce and himself. So it was only a matter of time before the mighty behemoth fell before the might of the two wielders. OOC: Words: 665 EXP: 30 Total: 198 Injured: Behemoth 22 BP dealt.
