Upon hearing Karina's latest question, Kel had no idea how to answer her. Sure he could've bs'd some kind of answer, but he decided to make that plan b in the event that he couldn't give her answer. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that there only a small handful of people that he could actually explain. Himself for starters, Eon and possible Ananta. Okay, so that small handful turned into 3 people. Still didn't help with the situation at all. What did was the interruption provided by R. "Yeah, no problem." Kel replied as she walked off. Now if only she was more like this in the past, oh well. He then turned towards the way he'd come from and went to go see if he could find anyone. Then the next step would be to see if they actually listened to him cause along with his apathetic appearance that he used to had, he was more of a follower who occasionally spoke his own idea in certain situations.
The entrance to the Hall of Records was certainly an interesting one to him. Namely the emblem on the door. He had never seen any thing like that before, but considering where he was at, there was a good chance that he might found something about said emblem, if he found the right book that is. After listening to what Seiza said, he started looking for anything of interest. Kel had an idea of what he was looking for, but that didn't solve the issue of there being a wide assortment of books on magic. Eventually he decided to see what Beuce was looking at and made his way to where he was. As he got closer, he overheard something about a riddle. From that he could assume that whatever was being looked at was something important or held some interest. Why else would they put a riddle instead of outright telling you want it was. When he'd finally gotten to where Beuce was, he'd just head him speak the riddle. "Interesting. Yeah, the only thing that comes thing that I can think of that fits the description of the first line is a dragon. I'm Kel by the way." He threw in the introduction since the girl likely didn't know who he was. Back to the riddle, yes a dragon was the main thing that he thought of, but there was a chance that it could be something else. Heck, on his homeworld there a legends with creatures other than dragons breathing fire. However taking into account the second line of the riddle, a dragon was still more likely.

In a turn of events that was both surprising and not so surprising the group was now descending in a elevator. Now as for what was not so surprising was the fact that Karina was still pissed, Ananta slapping her didn't help in that at all. With them being in an enclosed space like this, they were pretty much in the cage with a lion right now. Still it didn't end there since from what he hard heard Ananta had actually made an attempt to apologize, something that he didn't foresee working well. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the apology attempt start off well and go downhill. Along with some screaming about how she hated a number things, Karina prepared to strike Ananta while she was on the ground. However before her fist could make contact, Kel took hold of her wrist. Since it was clear that he didn't care about the severe likely hood of him getting hurt, he held her wrist as the elevator stopped, revealing three ducks waiting, one of which mentioned a training grounds. "See, there a place where you can go let off some steam as oppose to pummeling someone in a elevator." It was then that Kel released his hold on her wrist and thought about where he should go. Being as how he could think up a reason to go to all three places, there were two that gained the most attention. In the end he choose to follow Dewey to the library. "Guess I'll go see what the Hall of Records has."
During the carriage ride the eyes of Chrona wandered, looking at just about everything that he possible could. One minute he was looking at the various faces of the people in the carriage and another his gaze was directed outside, looking at the passing cobblestone and the various groups of birds flying in the sky. The whole situation felt strange, he didn't see any problems with it right now. Sure there were plenty of questions that he had and wanted answers too, but the adventurous or rather reckless side of Chrona had the most control in this situation. As the carriage soon came to a stop his attention was finally taken from the outside and directed to the door that would lead them to the outside world. He waited til the girl wearing a emerald skirt had gotten off before exiting. Now there was nothing keeping him was looking around, which was exactly what he did. The street around them was filled with people walking around to get to their desired locations, merchants in their booths trying to sell all kinds of clothing food and random items and trinkets could and finally the occasional person dress in tattered clothes running around. Speaking of which, it seemed the girl who'd gotten off before him had just gotten one of her buttons snatched by some kids and she ran after the thief. He wasn't quite sure what he woudl do with that button, but whatever he was planning, the thief was running with said button. The whole sequence of events had prompted Chrona to take a look at his own clothes to makes sure that their was nothing that could be taken from him. His black and white hooted jacket didn't have any buttons so they were safe, there wasn't anything valuable on nor in his black pants nor his belt, at lest he didn't think that there was anything valuable there and finally he wasn't wearing any visible jewelry, since the necklace he was wearing was tucked underneath his shirt, so that was out too. Yep, he seemed to have a fairly low risk of being mugged, but people think that all the time and it happens to them so he would have to be on his guard. That was about when the girl from earlier had returned, he was uncertain if she'd gotten her button back or not, but that could wait for later. as she pounded on the wooden door, he decided to speak and break the silence. "Maybe we should start looking around. There might be something of use for us he." It might've been a long shot, but it was certainly better than doing nothing. That much was for certain and who knows, a little sight seeing might do them some good after being in the carriage.
Grim's walk had taken him to a old tree in some part of the district. Looking up, he saw that the tree was a group of birds around said tree. Some were flying around it while one was sitting on the branches. That one bird was a raven and it looked down towards Grim before flying down and landing on his shoulder. It squawked a few times after landing, which to him was understood as. "Do you have a thing for birds or something, cause you sure like being around trees." The possibility that he would be questioned by a bird never once crossed his mind and yet, it was happening to him right now. "Let's just say that I prefer to be around birds as oppose to people." Another squawk came from the Raven. "So long as you don't do anything weird." It figures that he'd get the one bird that questions him. If that was what he wanted, he'd go talk to some random person and turn to into a therapist by telling them all of his probelms. Of course they'd think he was crazy and try to get away from him, which is why that was an example becuase that was a very easy way to get judged by a lot of people. Especially if the action was in front of a large group of people. Anyway, he looked the bird in the eye and said "Alright you annoying winged beast, do yo think that you can fly around and see what you can find?" His voice had taken a more stern tone as he spoke. In return the Raven pecked at its wing for a few moments before answering. "What's in it for me?" "I'll feed you bread or some kind of grain." That was the only thing that he could think of the bribe the bird with. Though it seemed to be enough fore the bird flew in to air, not before smacking Grim in the face with its wing. Clearly that bird wasn't all that fond of him. No matter, just because he could talk to birds better than he could talk to people didn't mean that he liked all of them.

In the span of a few minutes Kel had gotten the answer to one of his questions, which only confirmed the assumptions that he had. The blond girl known as Kaida had a freak over Krowley not being Krowley but Hikaru and how she'd just punched one of her superiors who was Krowley, but not the Krowley they knew. Not a single part of that made any sense to him so he choose to do the smart thing and leave it along, unfortunately things went downhill from there. Along with the freakout of Kaida, Glen had started laughing at the situation and while that much didn't bother him in the slightest, what he did next caused him to question what he was thinking prior to his action. In an action he'd never expect to see, Glen launched Beuce right at Karina who retaliated by smacking Beuce into a monitor. Two things went through his mind at that point. First, he was hopping that they wouldn't get he bill for that and second things were about to get worst. See Kel has only been to one world with Karina and her attention was mostly focused on Flora, who tried too hard to be her friend, so he still has a typical apathy towards her. However he has seen her get pissed over something trivial, which lead to her getting bitten by Ananta but that doesn't matter right now. The point was that she was likely to get mad (He intentionally used mad as a severe understatement). "How bout you not break anything in here and find a training dummy to brutally murder." Kel knew full well that she wasn't going to listen to him, in fact it was more likely that she'd get angrier, but as long as she didn't turn green, or red in her case, he figured that he could handle...most if not some of what she could dish out.
What a truly brutal way to use an ally. Still desperate times call for desperate measure and that definitely qualified as a desperate measure. As the Warden fled suffering his injuries another one of Orpheus's allies didn't take to fondly to his actions, which was clear by what was said. Kasen stood there in silence for a bit longer before deciding to make his presence know once more and started clapping, despite the clear tension in the air. "That certainly was an interesting way of winning. Using your ally like that." He'd taken a few steps closer as he spoke, which gave him a closer look at the injuries that the girl sustained. Things certainly didn't look well for her if help wasn't found. Unfortunately the only method he had of possibly helping required her to die for a bit and there was still no guarantee that it would work, so he choose to keep that bit of information to himself. No point of giving someone false hope only to take it away, well no point in this situation that is. After the fight he just saw, he had all the more reason to be a bit more careful around them. At least til he was strong enough to have better odds in winning should he face them.
It was just as he'd figured, she hadn't changed her mind in the slightest and he wasn't surprised at all. Now what did surprise him was that she'd hugged him. Taken completely off guard he just stood there and let her hug him. "I see, well that makes two of us seeing I've never hated you. Sure you were a pain to deal with most of the time, but you at least had the skills to make your anger tolerable." At least to him him she was that way. He may been out of the apathetic shell that he was known for, but it still took effort to get him to hate someone. Extremely dislike is a different story and theirs already a few people on that list.
Swiping away some of the lingering dust that was floating around his face, Kel looked around at the place that they were now in and saw that it was quite the improvement compared to Camelot, technology wise that is. Surrounding them in the room was a ton of various machines that he had no idea what they did. He wasn't a stranger to technology, but this was something else all together. All this had Kel admiring all the things that were situated in the room and Merlin was talking to some DJ person, one of the monitors flashed an New Arrivals alarm, which was followed by the appearance of the rest of their group and two people he didn't quite recognize. "So let me be the first to ask the following questions. Where are we and who's the blond chick and blue haired guy in armor?" Strange thing was, the armor that the blue hair guy was wearing was extremely similar to the one Krowley wore. Sure he could've put two and two together to get an answer to one of his questions, but he'd rather wait til someone who actually knews the answer to his question answers him. As for the blond he again could assume who she was, but again choose to wait and see.
"What was that you punk?" Currently the man known as Grim was in quite the predicament. Backed into a alley, surrounded by three goon one of which was lifting him up by his collar. The concept of personal space had vanish as the brute was right up in his face. Though in spite of all this, there wasn't a single hint of fear nor any emotion on Grims face. "Say that again, I dare you." Despite the clear threats against him, a calm emotionless voice spoke. "I said that you're nothing but a good for nothing bum who has no choice but to either steal or kill to make a living. The silence following his words lasted for what seemed to be an eternity. The brute definitely wasn't expecting him to actually repeat what he said. "What's wrong, raven's got your tongue or did I strike a nerve." He didn't particularly care which it was so long as he didn't have to deal with this man any longer. "Why you little punk. Don't think just because your missing an arm I'll let that slide." So he did notice that he only had one arm, maybe he was that much of a bum after all. He still was of course. The mans fist were shaking in anger as he released Grim's collar in preparation for an attack. That was his first mistake for in the time it too the brute to swing a blow his way, Grim pulled out his scythe and countered. In the blink of an eye, a forearm flew into the arm and landed on the ground before them. What followed next was a painful scream form the victim and his goons. Without caring for their screams nor pained expression on the assailants face, Grim kicked the severed limb towards him and spoke. "Unless you want to lose your head next, leave and never show me your face again." In a frantic, fear induced scramble, the severed arm was grabbed and the trio fled for their live. This prompted Grim to retract the pole part of his weapon to a smaller size so that he could hide it away easier. After all, walking around with a scythe, dripping with blood, on your back wasn't the best way to attach attention. Leaving the alley, he paid no attention to the puddle of blood on the ground where the severe limb was, nor to the trail leading to where the three goons had gone. What they did now was none of his concern, but instead the concern of the poor bastard that they pleaded to.

Because of this early development of his powers, he found it difficult to interact with other people due to his little control over his powers. In the end he started to separate himself from other people to the point where the only ones that he spoke with were the birds that flew around him. As time went one, he gradually developed enough control over his powers to prevent them from acting up and causing problems. Unfortunately that was the end of one of his problems and the start of another. Upon turning 10 his parents were killed and Oz lost his arm as a result of him trying to exact payback. Wounded, armless and alone, the young boy wandered the Lustor district, begging for help, but no one would aid him in anyway. In fact he soon collapsed, fully expecting to die when he next awoke in a bed being treated in the human district. 11 years was spent in the human district, healing, getting used to doing things with only one arm and somewhere in the middle of those years a hatred of lustors grew. While he knew that he couldn't hate all the lustors, the hatred he harbored was directed at the ones more deserving of it. After hearing that the person who'd spilt himself into two was a lustors, that little part made a bit more sense to him. Thought now that he thought about it, being a lustor was the only way something like that could be possible, unless there was a made scientist experimenting on people and ended up with this. Anyway that took care of one person, leaving one other person up to question, least now he could ask some more question not pertaining to the amount of people here. "So what are you doing in a alley?"
As the exploration team made their way away from the exit, some talk about them gathering weapon was made. While they'd had a similar discussion earlier, all that came out of that was the reminder that some of their other class mates had gotten their hands on weapons, not that maybe they too should arm themselves. While it wasn't a bad idea, would they really find enough weapons for everyone to use. Well they could always just improvise with whatever they could find if they do head back to the supply room, not that aside from the suggestion, no one showing any interest in the idea. That was when he heard Brady's question, to which he responded. "For all we know there might be another more useable exit somewhere around here and if their isn't, we might find something to help up open up that one." Odds were that there were still many secrets trapped down here with them, waiting to be found and hopefully used to get out of this nightmare.
