After all he knew basically nothing of the other competitors so he may put himself at a disadvantage. However if whoever is speaking to him made the pick then he might actually either have a fair shot or an advantage. Of course there would be the chance that he'd still be at a disadvantage, but that was a possibility no matter what he did. "Alright, go ahead and pick for me." Allen declared. And once again he was back to waiting, though this time he started looking around the now mostly digitized area. He got the a video game vibe from how this was currently set up. Maybe that was a hint as to what the challenge was going to be or the voice was a huge fan of video games and use chance to get the area a more video game like theme. If it was the latter, then he wouldn't judge, he only wished that he'd gotten a forewarning to this and if it was the former, then he'd just have to wait and see as to what he would be doing.
As Kasen continued to watch the fight before him, gathering what ever information that he could, he interest was mostly targeted at the Warden. While the other lustors powers did give him a reason to bump them up on the threat scale, the Warden was single handily fighting a 5 + summoned zombies vs 1 fight and was holding up well. That made things troubling should he ever find a reason to face him. There were numerous things aside from his fighting capabilities that Kasen could see as a threat. His chains gave him a increased attacking range and despite his ability being a possible counter to said chain, he'd rather not got hooked if he could have anything about it. At this point he was more concerned with trying to find of way of defeating the giant. While he knew that there were other people that at his current state he either wouldn't be able to or have severe difficulties in fighting, if you could fight this well against 5 people, then at this moment. Hell, the main reason he hadn't done the who 'appears to have a way to win' offer was cause he didn't have any idea on how to turn the tide, let alone win. If he was a more reckless man then reasoning wouldn't matter in the slightest. He'd just blindly charge in there, hopping for the best. However, that would be as drastic of a change as Beuce not breaking the 4th wall. If his chameleon power could be use whenever he choose to use it, then things would be a lot simpler, but since they couldn't and the only thing that he could think of was to throw his weapon at him while he was un noticed, a plan he didn't see ending well, his best option was to wait for either a point where throwing his weapon would work out or until something else useful was said.
Kel looked at the voice recorder that had been placed into his hand with a curious look on his face. Was she recording herself or something? Though hearing her sigh, he looked up to listen to her assumed explanation. During which, his confused facial expression turned into a more surprised one. By the time she'd finished giving her reasons and told him her plan, it took Kel a couple of moments to gather his thoughts. "So you were dead then, not something I was expecting to here." That was just something that he needed to say first. I mean, she definitely didn't look it at all. Anyway he went on to voice his opinion on her plan. "You sure you wanna go at it alone, I mean I'm sure Eon still makes a good meat shield." He took a pause to sigh and scratch the back of his head before continuing. "Beside, if I thought that I could change your mind, I would've done so a long time ago." Despite it not clearly being shown on his face, he was concerned about what she was planning, but since he knew who he was dealing with there was little point in trying to convince her otherwise. That was why he made the Eon remark, to see if she truly wanted to go through with her plan alone. "Still I'll be sure that they get your message."
After all these years, it seemed that he managed to catch Karina off guard. Not his intention at all, but he wasn't complaining. "What can I say, I enjoy being outside." There was a light chuckle as he gave his answer. It was something that he never truly understood about himself, but whenever he wandered around he'd always end up outside first even if there plenty of more interesting and attention grabbing places to go to. Maybe it had something to do with his habit of staring at the sky or maybe there was something more deep rooted about this it, whatever it was he didn't know nor did he care. During the silence between the two of them, Kel's mind wandered to the past. Out of all the times that they've interacted, this was probably the first time that someone wasn't fighting or biting anyone. Though that was one and the only time that came to mind, it still goes without saying that this is probably the most peaceful he's seen Karina before, which was a good thing. He didn't feel like playing a mediator like he used to. "Nothing really, it was as you said I simply wandered here and happened to overhear your voice. Now for my question, what were you saying in this corner?" His natural instinct of caring for his friends hadn't changed at all, unlike his appearance which had gone through a drastic change. Though there was a reason behind it, one that was supposed to be temporary, but it eventually grew on him so he decided to leave it the same.

As Haken watch Monokuma make his rounds to the ones who'd ask question, he took his little acting as nothing more that him goofing off. Still the answer that he was given wasn't the most satisfactory one that he could've gotten, that was for certain. In fact, there wasn't much in that answer that truly answered his question. Dealing with this bear was going to be troublesome, that much was already clear. Whatever hope Lucas had of getting some answered to his confusion were quickly dashed. "Are there going to be any other teachers or staff here?" Thinking back to the state of the room that he woke up and and more importantly the security measures set up in said room there said to be other people aside from them and the strange bear. It was reasonable to assume this, since who traps kids in a school with a two toned bear. The thought floated in his head for a few more seconds before he realized that he might not want to know the answer to that question. Especially considering all the weird things people are into now a days. Didn't help that the last thing Monokuma said didn't sit right with him either.
Kasen could tell from the tone that Orpheus had used to reply to him that it wasn't going to be easy to lure him into his trap, not that expected nor wanted it to be easy. It just meant that he would have to play his cards ever more carefully to entice his interest. "Well, I might by able to help you out, for a small fee of course." That being the last thing he said before the situation took another interesting turn. Not too long after he'd finished speaking, a white haired man had appeared with a girl in tow. Normally he would've call her a bitch and not given it a second thought, but seeing as how this was the same girl who'd been here prior to running ahead via horseback, simply calling her that wouldn't answer any question. It would raise some new ones though. Now as to sum up the following events, Orpheus and his ally were clearly not all that fond of the white hair man showing up with their friend, whose name was apparently Cierra, and one of them dealt with the situation. Next some giant, freaky, hatted man appeared and again took an interest in the girl who was just confused for a sex slave. Finally there was the arrival of one more person as the various situations took place, which he took a small mental note of both their names as per habit. During all this Kasen just sat back and watched. He had no reason to intervene in any of this, not that he knew enough about half the people that had appeared to do so. So he was left with what he always did, observe and take note. Though this time he didn't use his chamelon cloak to hide himself, figuring that if he didn't do anything stupid, he wouldn't get dragged into this.
Indeed, the people building, just about everything around him was perfectly normal. While he wasn't expecting like a dramatic change of scenery or something like that, but at least a building for whatever they had planned for this specific area would've been nice. It would've given him something to look over in the mean time. He walked around for a bit before decided to rest on a nearby corner, however when he made the turn just about everything vanished. Again, not at all what he was expecting to happen here in the slightest. Buildings around him had vanished and the sky was an even stranger sight. One's and zero's had effectively replaced the sky, making this seem more like a video game then anything else. I have no idea how to feel about this. One one hand he was amazed at everything that had happened around him and on the other hand, the fact that all this was possibly worried him about what else they were capable of. That was when the voice had spoken to him. "Select a challenger." "What is all this and what if I don't choose anyone?" Taking in the situation at hand, it was wise for him to attempt to get some answers if not clarification on what was going on. Allen wasn't about to do anything, nor was he going to blindly agree to do something without some kind of information. He'd made his way onto the road since that was one of the few things not digitized, gazing into the sky as he waited for a answer.
Kel wasn't expecting to be gifted with two separate things from this place, not that he was complaining. Still looking at his newly gained keyblade, it truly didn't seemed to be made for him, but that didn't bother him. A new weapon was the perfect starting point for his idea on how to improve himself. While he had zero intentions on giving up on getting stronger, he was just going to apply that mentality to other more neglected aspect of himself. Next what had occurred was and wasn't a shock to him. She wasn't surprised that Merlin knew where the keyhole was, but he wasn't expecting it to be in the anvil where the sword was. "I'm sure your help will be beneficial." Kel said, just as Stratos had finished up with the keyhole. Hearing the question, he went ahead and answered. "Basically you just sealed this world's keyhole and if my understanding is correct, doing so should help protect this world." That was the best explanation that he could give since there was still things he didn't quite know either.

As he slowly got himself of of his keyblade crutch, he quickly casted blizzard on the burning Stratos. Going off the logic that the melted ice would take care of the flames, he figured that he'd get up eventually get up and not be a charred keyblade wielder. When Gilgamesh had gifted them before vanishing to the void, he looked to his keyblade. He could that something had changed in what he could do, but he would just have wait and see. Then there was a loud thunk, which prompted Kel to glance over to Ananta, who was yet again sulking. Seriously, didn't they already have a cheer up session. "So now what?"

Currently Kel was now wandering around, a habit of his when he was bored or couldn't find anything worth doing. This little habit of his has worked out for him in the past and almost gotten him screwed over in a few special cases, but nothing worth dwelling on. As past records shown, Kel is fairly durable, and lucky from time to time. Granted that luck of his in a few cases is followed up by bad luck so yeah, there that. Moving on he soon ended outside, a common place for him to end up whenever he was wandering around. It was too long afterward that he heard what sounded like a voice. It was faint so he couldn't make out any of what he was hearing, but it was definitely a voice that he'd heard. Letting his ears guide him, he came upon a surprising sight. It was Karina in a dark corner, it wasn't emo dark but dark enough to suit Karina. "Brooding in a corner I see." Being that Kel was one of the few people who's strength was within a 10-point gap of hers, he didn't have all much too worry about when it came to her reaction. Assuming she did attempt to strike him, all he had to do was dodge it, assuming this wasn't going to be a bad luck moment for him. If it was then he's screwed.
Unfortunately the target of his interest soon flew away from the area, taking with him all the arrows that had pierced his body. Shame, there was plenty more that he could learn from watching, but it seemed that he would have to actually go find him if it wanted to do so. Why must things always end up requiring him to put in some effort. Fortunately he was reminded of another method he could use to complete his goal and said method was currently in the process of whipping his assumed subordinate. Yes, if he played his cards right he just might be able to briefly tag along with Orpheus and his little group without the whole 'come out from hiding' thing that would most likely happened if he continued to use his chameleon power. Though it wouldn't have to come to that unless he was notice within the next couple of minutes or so. Since this power was better used against walls and other non moving targets. Something like a horse or a person may or may not work and even if it did, keeping it up would require him to move in perfect sync with the person he's blending with. And since all that was effort that he didn't want to go through, he decided to go with plan b, which required to do something that he despised the most. With one deep sigh, he sucked in all of his doubts and walked away from the wall that he was leaning on. As he did, Kasen's body gradually began to appear. Not really caring if the whipping was done, he went ahead and spoke. "It's quite interesting that he managed to get away thought if it weren't for his clone, that most likely wouldn't have happened. If only there was a way to get past that little ability of his." The way he spoke was intended to sound like he knew something they didn't. All he would need is for them to take the bait.
Wonder how far Beuce and Glen will drop after the next world
After successfully gaining a pouch of money from that foolish man, Ace had stopped in a alley as to count his earnings. It wasn't a bad haul, all things considered. While he felt like he easily could've gotten more if he'd wagered more. Maybe he should've taken the clothes as well, while they probably would've been worth next to nothing, you never know with how desperate some people can be. It was then that he heard the sounds of a cart being pulled in. Looking up, he saw that a girl had brought a wagon with her into the alley. She had asked if he wanted to buy something. Hmm, maybe he could try to get something for free off this girl. Sure an average person probably wouldn't try to con a girl, but it wasn't like he was going to take everything from her. Just the items that he would need the most. However before he could speak another person had appeared clear out of the sky. Definitely the strangest thing that he's seen, or so he thought. For next the man who'd fallen from the sky had split in two and unlike the general assumption when someone get's split into, he seemed perfectly fine. Despite the painful screams of course. "Um, who the hell are you?" Falling from the sky was one thing, but splitting into two was something else entirely different. Once again before an answer could be given, someone else had stumbled upon the slowly forming group. Since this person had shown up pretty normally, which was a good thing don't get him wrong, it still didn't explain why he was here. Unless it was because of the man who'd fallen from the sky. Well, seeing as he just answered his own question, he decided to say nothing and wait for someone else to speak up.
