It'd probably be better and a whole lot safer if they stuck together, especially with bat mutant still out there and wanting them for a meal. As oppose to standing in the alley any longer, Chrona walked out and waited for Ayako on the other side.
Unfortunately Kel didn't find what he was looking for in his search. However he did managed to find a stick big enough to be a staff and returned to the others with it. All he needed to do was to smooth out the edges, so he bent down to pick up a rock and got to work. Upon hearing Stratos's question, he took a second to think about it before answering. "I don't think so, then again I'm not quite up to date on most of the spells that I know."
Skorge's eyes had followed his prey as they jumped off the building and landed down below, but that was where he lost them as well. Despite being a predator who could survive on land or in air, he had no special tracking abilities for situations like these. He'd lost his prey and he was furious. With one last ear shattering scream, the beast flew away from the building in search of its next meal. Chrona had waiting a few moment after the shrieked had died down before answering the girl. "Either ones fine and from the sound of it, we're both screwed if it see us." While he did managed to save the girl, now he had a deadly predator after him. This was turning into quite the night for him. Still with the coast now being clear, he got up from his hiding spot and looked up. Nothing, not even a single sound. "Anyway, I'm Chrona."
It turned out that the key that they'd found in the room that Ethan was found and Jenn had died in was for a well where the rest of Ethan's group was at. Upon opening it, they saw three heads eventually pop up from the water. Only one of them was still alive though. They'd had lost four people in total now and they still weren any closer to finding a way out of this place. "S-so what are we going to do now?" There's wasn't all that much tat they could do at this point. Going back to their respective groups, or what was left of it in some cases, and waiting might as well meant that they'd given up and were just going to sit around and wait for death to come to them. If they decided to continue to explore, there was still no telling what else they would come across and who would survive it. "We could backtrack and continue to look for something of help." Kaied suggested. Being quiet wouldn't bring them closer to a solution and so he decided to throw in his 2 cents on the topic.

7 As the battle went on and more and more demons continued to run towards him, Allen continued to slash at the ones that got too close to him. Fortunately there was nothing too difficult for him to face as he struck down another demon. The only ones that came to mind as something to avoid no matter what were Lucifer and his brother. Even Nuriel was oppose to the idea of him fighting them since for one instead of the usual opened ended advice or answers he gave, he actually warned him not to attempt it. Unfortunately though, while he was distracted in his thoughts a demon had managed to get in close and swipe his sword out of his hand. The attack had left a claw mark on the hand that was holding the weapon and while it did hurt, he could still use it to fight. Though now he had to deal with the demon before him unarmed. Step back! Hearing Nuriel's voice in his head Allen did as he was instructed, just in time to watch his left hand move forward and punch the demon in the head. If it wasn't for the fact that the fist was also cloaked in flames the attack probably would've have been as effective, proven as how the demon was now unmoving on the before him, slightly burning due to the attack. Told you I'd step in if needed Its true, he did say that. Anyway, I think its time to help some of your friends out. Allen didn't quite get what he meant by that. He was too focused on the demon that had knocked his sword, which he did need to get back before another one took advantage of him being unarmed, away. Nevertheless, he started to look around the battlefield. What he saw was Lauren had left Tiia with Vincent and was heading back to fight the demons, but something about her seemed off. From what he could tell at this distance, she wasn't fighting like she was in top form and she seemed to be grabbing at her chest. Allen may not have been a doctor, nor did he have any desire to be one, but it didn't take a genius to tell that something was wrong. So he went over to his sword and picked it up, there was still some pain due to the wound on his hand, but he paid it no mind. Instead he changed the sword into a dagger and headed over to where Lauren was. Due to their being a mob around her, there was plenty of hacking, slashing and burning to be done as he fought his way to where Laruen was, but eventually he made it there and asked. "Are you okay?"
As Kel listen to the explanation that Beuce gave, he thought back to the time in Castle of Dreams where they sat there and did nothing. Both the keyblade wielder and the unversed before them. "Oh, that spell." He probably did know it, but didn't give it any thought at all in the slightest. Then came Stratos's comment at his magical ability, which Kel had no problems with. "None taken, I'm more of a physical/magic enhanced fighter." Then cam the mention of improvising weapons as oppose to swords, Kel opened his eyes. While unfortunately most of his weapon ideas were sword based, there was one thing he had in mine that could use. So he took a second to roll back before leaping onto his feet. "If we're going to improvise weapons, then I got something in mind." He said before adding. "I'll be back before the senile old hag realizes I'm gone."
Well if Kel was planning on falling asleep, it was ruined by Ananta's yelling and poking him in the side. He took a moment to sigh before speaking. "I wasn't asleep just yet, just resting my eyes." He started, still not bothering to open his eyes. "I heard everything you guys said and aside from us having to work with the magic that we know, I'm also curious about this spell that Beuce know." His curiosity was mainly due to not know in the slightest what spell he was talking about. He figured that it could've have been some kind of ultimate spell like Mega-Flare or something along those lines. Kel was pretty sure that he would know about a spell like that if he had it.
"Not that I know of. While I do know some spells, I don't think that's one of them." Kel said in response to Ananta's question. He'd already gone and closed his eyes as he listened. He wasn't going to fall asleep just yet. More like he was resting his eyes for whatever reason he could think of. "If only we were fighting a enchanted suit of armor or something more physical than a witch." Not saying that an suit of armor would be more of a threat than a witch, it was just that he'd prefer to be more physical like usual. Oh well, maybe this will be good practice should he decided to use more magic as well.
After furiously scanning the area for his prey and whoever caused him to lose it, he found the two sitting on a building roof below him. Now it was feeding time. With another loud shriek, he dove down towards them. For a little bit it seemed as if things would go better than he'd expected as Chrona watched the girl land on the roof. She didn't seem to be hurt, not from the fall or from her encounter with the bat mutant. He was about to call this a stroke of luck before he heard the piercing shriek above them. Even though he expected something to happen, he was kind of hoping that he was wrong. It wasn't going to take a genius to figure out what would happen to them if they didn't get off this roof before it got to them, but since the girl didn't seem like she would be able to move in the slightest, it was again up to Chrona to play the hero. This better not end up biting him back later, figuratively and literally. First thing he did was run over to her and grab her had. "Try not to freak out over this." He said, before jumping off the ledge of the building. Normally an act like this would be seen as suicide, but fortunately Chrona had a plan. Clock up! This time with a much smaller radius, he managed to bounce himself and the girl he was dragging off the wall behind them and onto the other one. Where he used the friction of his shoes and one free hand to slow down the descent. Once they were on the ground, he looked up to see if the mutant was still behind him. While he saw nothing, it was still too early to relax. So he motioned at the girl to hide while he did the same, hoping that it didn't have any special features to spot them with.

Sure in theory Logan would be able to cook up a army of his shadow soldiers, but in actuality and through fighting the demons the previous days he learned that there were quite some drawbacks and limits to his powers other then collapsing due to over use. For example, they could only go so far away from him before they disappeared. Another one was while he could increase the durability of the shadows, the problem was it required concentration. So if out of 10 he made 1 stronger, then not only would the other nine get weaker, Logan would almost have to put all of his attention on the one he was strengthening. So yeah, his army spawning ability had its usefulness and its drawbacks, though it was too late to be worrying about how to alter or work around those drawbacks. He would simply have to make due with what he knew and has always done. "who wants to help me slay a squid?" Hmm, the squid, the leader or the swarm of demons approaching us. Logan stood there for a bit weighing his options. Clearly fighting the leader was the first thing to get crossed off the list, which left either one powerful foe or a swarm of demon. Since there was a likely chance that the demons would be fought regardless of which he chose. "Sure, two heads are better than one as they say."
"Well whatever she's planning, it must be pretty complicated." Kel commented. His boredom had led to him laying down on the grass waiting. Unless she was somehow toning them out as they talked, talking about their plans wouldn't be a good idea. "So anyone got any topics to discuss or can I go ahead and take a nap." He wasn't kidding, he would gladly take a nap while he waited for something to start.
Man Mim was taking a long time to agree to their rule. What was so complicated about not being able to use your broom in any way shape or form. If four people could grasp the fact that they couldn't use their keyblades at all faster than a witch could grasp no being able to use her broom, then she probably wouldn't be that much of a threat to them.
Kel will unequip Fire strike, and Strike raid and equip Reluctancy and Gravity. Also switch out Oathkeeper to Divewing since Oathkeepers power boost isn't useful in this fight.
Kel took a moment to wipe his mouth before answering Ananta. "I'm fine, just never mention this again." It was the last thing that he ever wanted to think about again would love to never hear any mention of it. Why wasn't there a punching bag when he needed one most. Beating up an old witch was all fine and dandy, but there is a fine line between defeating and domestic abuse.
Oh how Beuce was wrong. While his attempt to make Ananta jealous had quickly turned Kel from flustered to pissed. Clenching his fist, he opened his mouth to speak. "This hand of mind is burning red. Its loud roar tells me, to knock you out. Erupting Burning Falcon Punch!!" In probably the greatest and only 4th wall breaking Kel would ever do, or at least say. He swung his red fist at Beuces face, shouting "ORA!" as Beuce was sent into the air. Now that that was out of the way, all that was left was to wait for Mim to agree to their terms and for Beuce to come back to the ground.
Ah the sounds of futile pleas. Despair really was a delicious thing. If only he wasn't as hungry as he was now, then he'd take extreme pleasure in giving the girl hope and only to painfully take it away from her. "Plea all you want, your only delaying the inevitable." "I see." Chrona said as Xero explained about the giant mutant. Considering that he had friends in various places and how some of those friends provided useful information for him, you'd think at least one of them would have heard about this. Heck they told him about the bat like mutant children story. Soon Reno said that they should get some sleep and everyone went ahead and found a room to sleep in, leaving Chrona all alone. Time to do what I do best. With that he quietly made his way out of the house. Now this probably wasn't the best idea for him to do, not cause of the potential risk, but cause his power affected his brain and lack of sleep plus over using them could and probably would severely screw him over. Though it wasn't like he was planning on staying out all night, just long enough to do some thinking is all and what better place than the roof of a abandoned building. Entering though the window, he made his way up to the roof and dug into his shirt, taking out a pendent. Since it was related to his parents, he had no idea what was special about. All he knew that it has always been with him. As he held it up to the sky and looked through it, he noticed what appeared to be a black smudge, but when he investigated it, he found nothing. It was then that he heard the sounds of wings flapping. Looking up, he didn't see the bird that he was expecting. Instead it was a bat like mutant carrying what seemed to be a rainbow haired girl. Put two and two together and this can't be good. Now assuming that this is the same bat-like mutants that the stories are about, then the rainbow haired girl is most likely its next meal, which also meant if he intervened he was basically putting himself on the menu as well. If there was ever a time to believe that his confidence in his powers would keep him from getting killed, it would be now. Chrona waited til the mutant was about to fly above him before activating his trap. Clock Down! Time slowed down for the mutant as it entered the radius of his effect. Now he had 10 second to free the girl. So he took out one of his two guns and fired two shoots at its wing. The bullets pierced the wings right as the time limit was out. Skorge was not expecting anything to come between him and his meal, so needless to say when the bullets shot through his wing there was a shriek of pain as he released the girl onto the building below. Too bad for whoever had shot him, he was still able to stay in the air and was now scanning the nearby rooftops for the one responsible for stealing his meal. He would make sure that they knew true terror and pain before finishing them off.
Once the blue streams of mana has finished passing from Kel and Stratos into Ananta, somehow fixing her crystal, Kel gave out a sigh of relief. While Kel could infer that the mana that they'd given her had somehow fixed her crystal, he still knew absolutely nothing about said crystal and how their actions had saved her life, but a saved comrade was a good comrade which was good for Kel. He wasn't too concerned about the lack of mana since he was more physical than magical and was planning on asking about Ananta's crystal, but for the second time in this world he did something more uncharacteristic than caring for something. Getting flustered. Yes the smooch from Ananta had left him in a brief, but noticeable, state of shock. "Well" He paused to clear his throat. "Long as your okay now, don't worry about it." Now that he was back in his somewhat usual mindset, he turned to face Mim, who was probably still pondering Beuce's rule. Not matter how simple and straight forward it may have been.
Option 3 for me
In a blink of an eye not only did Nequa leave with Mizu and Merlin, not that he minded Nequa leaving, and their keyblades were stripped away from them. He could actually feel the confidence in his rebirth abilities leave him body like the wind. Sure he was strong, but strength meant very little against a witch, unless strength of fire counts. Now they were given a chance to choose a rule of their choice and Beuce was the one who stepped forward with it. Man was on point today. Still that left the issue with Ananta, which Stratos was elected to handle the issue and seeing as how they would need a mage for this, any way of speeding up the process would help. So he too went over to Ananta. "If it'll speed things up, I'll help out too." It wasn't like Mim would even care about what they were doing, she would be too busy losing her broom to their rule.
