Xross simply adjusted his keyblade to block her attack and ran the back end of his keyblade into her gut as she landed. "Try harder." He held his keyblade in a defensive stance as he awaited her next move.
When morning had risen, Kaito put back on his armor and left the inn. Maybe he would head down to a lower floor to train, it probably would be good for him.
It wasn't long before he noticed Bronagh sitting with someone else. Since she was one of the few people he actually knew, it made since that he would go over to sit with her, but he did want to avoid any awkwardness it possible. So he was left with to options, he could go sit with her or just stand there like an idiot. TI wasn't took hard of a decision to make as he went over to the table she was sitting at. He sat down on the opposite of her with one seat between him and the other girl. "Hello." He said.
As Kel continued to wait, he noticed Master Yen Sid talking to Krowley. It was hard to tell what they were talking about, especially Krowly with him wearing a mask. Although he was more surprised when he saw Luna run by. At first glance he couldn't tell what was wrong with her, especially since they were on the same mission. After she had ran out the door, he decided to follow behind, to see if he could help in any way.
The sounds of hunger rang though Nate's stomach just as he was getting off the computer he was on. He made his way to his way to the cafeteria and proceeded to get some food. When he's gotten out of the line and to the cashier, he paid for the lunch he'd gotten. Since it was just a sandwich, a fruit cup, and milk, it didn't cost him much. All he would need to do now is to find a place to sit.

Nate's school day was pretty boring. The only class he actually paid full attention to was Graphics, the others only got half attention form him. When the break had started, he spent most of his time in the library, either researching something for class or just browsing the internet. Normally when he's on a computer, he was doing something particular, but this time he was just trying to keep his mind off old memories. New's Years went the same as it always did so he didn't mind reminiscing about that one.
At this point Nate was sitting by himself at the park. He'd gotten tired just walking around and decided to take it easy and rest. Judging by the time of day it was, he could tell that the day was almost over. Most people right now were probably at their home and would stay there for the rest of the night. He watched a couple of people passed by him before getting up and heading back to his room. He wrote up a quick tumblr post before heading to bed.
Kel watched as Zayde vanished into a Dark Corridor before him. Another ally lost to that darkness and there was nothing he could do about it. He chose not to let his anger get the best of him as he heard the man's comment. "They're still inside." He still had his doubts about the man and his story, but for now he would simply have to keep an eye on him. Xross simply nodded at Moonflow before vanishing into darkness. Blending in with the shadows, he had no trouble appearing behind Sapphire and holding his keyblade to her throat. "If I was out to kill you, you would be dead." It clear that he was still toying with her. Anyone with a heart of both light and darkness interested him. It made it fun bending them to his will. He backed away from her before saying. "Your turn."

Ah, Christmas day. Such a wonderful time of the year. One might normally be spending time what friends, family, etc. What Nate did on this day was different, he would just go for a walk. He didn't really have any family members to spend time with and not many friends as of the moment. Though this didn't make him a scrouge, he loved Christmas itself. It was his family that was the problem.
"Oh, well no problem. See you some other time I guess." Nate said before leaving. He gotten his goal for today done and was on his way back to the dorms. For the most part he was silent on the trip back, even his thought were silent up until he'd gotten back to his dorm and landed on his bed. At that point his thought were filled with what was he going to do on Christmas, even as he fell asleep.
Technically he was neither, but there was no need to share that information. "I heard about that flood, just what's been going on in Bellhurst. All I would know is about the flood and other incidents that's been on the news. I'm from Brookridge." Nate had to make sure not to get distracted with other stuff and completely forget to answer her question all together. Still he looked out the window and saw that the sun was starting to set. Had he really been there that long.
"Do you like trees?" He'd heard her right, she did ask if he liked trees. Why wouldn't he. He may like computers but he wasn't a shut in. "Yeah." He did really know how to respond to the question. Nor did he know what to ask next. Hopefully she would do it and save them an awkward moment of silence.
Ah Christmas. He knew that it was tomorrow, but didn't want to think about it too much. He hadn't much of a reason to celebrate it anymore. His wasn't on good terms with the rest of his family as the ones he would actually do something for were dead. "No." He said with a smile. If there was one thing good about Nate was that no matter what was bothering him, he wouldn't let anyone else see a frown on his face.
The chuckle lifted his sprits more. To him it was a sign that he wasn't screwing anything up. "More of software programming and design." While there was a little roleplaying experience under his belt, he'd rather not talk about something in the past now. Maybe another time perhaps. Assuming that there was another time.
Step 3: Avoid any awkwardness - Failed Completely Nate could tell by the blank stare he was given that he'd messed up. Even he knew that asking something like that wouldn't end well, but he went with his gut and it was too late to change it. Fortunately she did answer, so he felt a little better. "A writer huh, that interesting." He'd hoped that nothing in that sentence came off as weird or him 'hitting' on her. "I'm more into computers and electronics."
