Seeya-all going to America via Vermont for school, have no idea what to expect. Nor do I know how long I'll be gone for, ,but at least take what I'm about to say very seriously, because I have no idea what to expect considering I'm taking a normal plane, then I think one of those smaller planes. Either that or two normal planes either way.

I seriously have nearly no way of contacting you guys incase something bad happened this time around, so just go by that for now, but I'm pretty sure more then likely I'll be back in around 4 days, 3 days maybe. Since I know the school has internet in the dorms.

OKAY, this really pissed me off.

I was watching the Tyra Banks Show yesterday. It was a repeat, i'm pretty sure.

so because the show is in America, I never knew this happened...(i'm in Canada)

A muslim women, who was middle eastern, came on the show. She told Tyra that she was in America to go to school and have a better life. But she also said that people are treating her differently.

She wears a Hijab (a scarf you put on your head), and she says that people IMMEDIATLY think she is a terrorist.

Once, someone put a fake bomb on her doorstep, and called the police.

They framed her.

Also, on the airplane, she was passing security, all of a sudden, all the security officers came, and excorted her out.

This is what Tyra did, she got some people, from different races, into a small room, and she put the muslim women in another room. The people could see her.

So Tyra asked what they thought of her, and most people were like, she was a terrorist. She asked would you go on a plane with her, and they said no.

This is so stupid. I hate the fact that because she wears a Hijab and traditional clothes, she is subjected to that torture.

I am muslim, and it makes me wonder if I wore that in the future, what people would think of me.

It is so rude. I don't understand why people do this. It might be for protection, but there is a huge line between protection and HITLER!

GOD DAMN IT =_=

So, now I have to ask, what would you think if you saw a women wearing a hijab?

and no, you don't have to answer that...just speak your thoughts

Tyra made one of the people in the small room play a muslim women. She learned how bad it was in the airport, and on the street.

and everyone treats her so differently
and im like wtf
my class gave her a hard time when she subsituted one of my periods

This be an intro into a story ^^ it isn't fantastic I know :) but I promised someone I would post it, and he has done a heck of a lot for me lately so I owe him that :)

Le Introduction, (I guess a prologue? I know it is short ^^)

The air was cold; a chilling cold that could freeze the heart and steal the mind. There was a smell of burning in the air; burning mixed with the smell of swords, fire mixed with the bitter sweet smell of a battle. The cool pine fragrance of the forest cuts through creating patches of clean freshness for the lone figure. Walking onwards, walking for what seemed an endless eternity, and never looking back. The only sound was the wind chasing through the tall trees and the distant call of birds, everything else is silence, silence broken by footsteps.

There is no real sense of time the present flows through the past and dances with the future leaving confusion in its wake. Blinding white threatens to dazzle all who dare look, a blinding white that has smothered the ground and the trees which try to stand tall. The figure continues on never looking back always marching forward, marching, marching to where? Only they know the answer. Itâ€™s cold. A fatal cold. A chill which threatens to take all who wander into its grasp. The wind rises as the shadows lengthen but still the lone figure walks on, walks until arriving at an archway created by the forest that surrounds him.

Leaves overly the passage above him and the quiet becomes deeper. Stepping forward he steps into a clearing, a clearing void of all signs of life. It is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. White lies beneath Scarlet red, scarlet red runs from ebony black. Dark waves surround the palest skin, lying how they tumbled when she fell. It is the most beautiful thing he has ever seenâ€¦.and also the most terrible.
