Hey everyone, though there's still no new scans yet, there are definitely some small bits of new information on what we can expect in Kingdom Hearts. Here's a brief summary of the interview.

    - The scenes in KH2FM+ featuring Roxas and Axel have now been done in full work detail.
    - Roxas will be having a few different forms, such as Sora did when entering Disney Worlds.
    - The story of the game will not be entirely understandable for those that do not have the game, however they won't enjoy it as much.
    - Other characters will be appearing there as well, including various Disney Characters.
    - However most of the conversations in this game will be revolving around Roxas.
    - Those who played Kingdom Hearts II should understand the story even more, and may even understand why this game was put onto the DS.
    - The 14th Member is a female who has influenced Roxas in his future actions, however she is too much of an important character in the story to talk about.
    - In the event scenes, there will be a little movie, there also may be an opening movie to the game.
    - The voice is becoming a issue with capacity but I am trying to find various ways to compress it into the game.
    - During this we are re-doing the cutscenes of 358/2 Days as well, this is because on the DS there is a weak design to the data and for every update to the hardware we push 358/2 Days further.
    - Even though we have a low capacity problem Nintendo has made it far, even their Rom capacity is going up!....Slowly (laughs)
    - The order of Single Player to summarize it up is "Go to mission, Clear Mission, Return to HQ, Prepare for next mission, go to next mission." There are also small mini events you can do such as after beating a mission join Axel for some Sea Salt Icecream.
    - Missions that are beaten in Single Player can be played in Multiplayer mode.

    Updated

Functions and Restrictions of KH on the DS
    - There were many thoughts about making the game, before moving it to the DS.
    - One of the thoughts was the capacity of the game, while the other one focused more on.
    - The second thought was more on the use of the double screen, and the touchpen.
    - When the story of the game was told, everyone was really interested in it, and wanted to work on it right away and deserved special production.
    - The main problem of putting it onto the DS was the fact that the polygons of the characters dropped, although we tried our best to keep the cutscenes at least to the feel of the KH series. We are currently trying to fix the polygons for the gameplay to make it as smooth as possible.
    - A chat option is added into the multiplayer mode, allowing other players to chat with each other.

    Button Operations
    - Nomura believes that the KH series feel of combat has kept that feel in 358/2 Days.
    - He still will not utilize the touchpen in terms of gameplay.
    - The buttons in the demo at JF have been re-arranged.
    - Because this time the game will not be able to use an analog stick it doesn't really fill like the main stream of the KH series to begin with, although we are aiming to get the best feel we can give for a KH game.
    - The only complaints about the game given was the having to use the cross pad buttons instead of the Analog stick.
    - We adjusted it though, and added a bit of connection between speed, combo and other actions during gameplay.
    - The LM gauge is used as co-operation techniques as well as very dangerously powerful attacks.
    - The Organization members in 358/2 Days in Multiplayer Mode will have moves from the original KH2, however due to restrictions we might not be able to have all their moves in there.
    - Originally the chairs moved up or down when failing or succeeding a mission, we might change that a bit.

Well it really should go under music, but this is the Black Mages for god sake. It's been too long since an album has been released. All we got were tracks like One Winged Angel, and FFIII's Final Boss Battle that were recent, but finally we get an album. Hopefully if it does include OWA, it is te one they played live, as in my opinion that version sounded better then FF7AC's version.

Edit: http://www.dogearrecords.com/tbm3/opening_bombing_mission_sm1.wma A sample track that continues off where the video ends.

Hey everyone, the latest book of Nintendo Wii/DS Magazine in Japan has shed a few new light on the KH 358/2 Series, and a blog user was able to take a few info out of it, hopefully we'll see scans in the future. Here is what we do know though.

    - The controls on the DS has changed a bit, and now has a different feel from the demo given at Jump Festival. The changes are however much better then how it was at Jump Festa.
    - There is an image of Kairi and Riku together, and another image of what looks like Riku is going to be a boss of the game.
    - When asked about voices being in the game, it was commented that the capacity of the DS isn't fullly capable enough to have voicing throughout the entire game, but they are working on getting around that.

Actually what he's really saying is that the PS3's Marketing campaign, Sony isn't really defining PS3 that way, this summary of the interview totally brings out the wrong point. Yoichi is talking about their campaign. For Wii the way Nintendo is doing their campaign they are showing it as a toy. There's always at least one or two commercials that does not focus more on what you can do with the Wii. I mean when Wii first came out over half of a game trailer or commercial would focus on people having fun with the Wii then what the game was like, now they're focusing on the game more. But with many things Nintendo is trying to produce such as gadgets for the Wiimote ect, it is being advertised as a toy that can play games. It's a game console yeah, but a toy at the same time.

Sony is another problem as well, they show their games yes but times you'll see it's more on the hardware then the software. Then suddenly it's the software and not the hardware. PS3's received a lot of mix campaigning. It's not really featuring what the PS3 actually is, and more like what the PS3 can do, this is another true fact, and considering what the gamers are doing yeah.

Microsoft on the other hand has been showing nothing but games and in some occasion movies. Though they know how to appeal to the American audience, not the Japanese audience as much but mostly the American audience. They show what people want to see, and they just cut down to the chase. Yes it was a bit off from the start, the system is still a bit off but Microsoft as far as I know is nearly reaching it's peek unless they do release a much better version of the 360. Which I think is sitll a rumor. Either way, as a customer I have to say yeah Microsoft knows how to campaign their game as a machine. PS3 got a new campaign team recently and sadly this new team for advertising the PS3 has been advertising it wrong, even with interviews they aren't getting across to the PS3 as a game machine. Sony's problem here is that it seems they know the audience knows that the PS3 is a game machine so they don't need to stress that fact, but that's where they're wrong. They need to show that fact, high rated games for the PS3 are selling low because there's not a lot of real PS3 owners, A.K.A not buying it just because it's blu-ray. So let' s use Rachet and Clank and instant classic game right there hitting the PS3, doesn't sell as good as it can because not a lot of owners. If this game hit the 360, Wii, or PS2 it would have sold a lot especially on the PS2 considering how great the campaigning was.

PS3 still needs it's potentials unlock, they haven't finished fully developing software that can allow developers to utilize the full potential of the PS3 as well as make developing games easier, and more interactive, but before they begin working on developing tools for the PS3, they should worry about campaigning it the right way.

Wii I can't say much for, it hasn't lost everything but it's not going to gain much either, it looks like something you're gonna have fun with for so long until something better comes. They just need more games for the hardcore audience, but they have definitely shown improvement on their developing tools. DBZ Tenkaichi 3 being a good example of that. The amount of new ways of using the Wii controls in this game showed that we're going to be looking at a new generation of ways of seeing the Wiimote used this year by other games. Though if they can focus more on the games that appeal to fit with these new motions that will be great. Though if I was Nintendo I'll say stop adding add-ons to the Wii, let NYKO do that one, they know how to do it right.

Anyways the CEO of Square wasn't saying anything about disliking the PS3, he just doesn't really like their current campaigning method.

Hey everyone, recently Famitsu has released an article featuring Japan's top 100 Video Game sales for the year 2007. In this list, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ did well enough to make the 46th place with 337,091 sales in the year it was released. That's pretty good considering it was an expansion of Kingdom Hearts II. If you want to view the full list, be sure to check Jeux France's website Here.

Also to add more clarification to this, Midnight Kingdom's blog user has uploaded a scan featuring the list straight from Famitsu.

Yup after fully hitting Microsoft and Nintendo, the free roaming killing game has moved to the Nintendo Consoles, but instead of the Wii, it's moving to a more...portable device.

    Sakurai has made me..

I'm importing the game and playing it on my friends JP WIi, I give up on waiting fairly, the delay time change for JP vs US has got me to that point. Because anything that hits over a month when I'm highlyanticipating it and doesn't require too much of a translation is basically yeah.

It seemed at first, there was a hint by the ICO team developing their third game which only had the text "The Last Canyon" although the way everything seemed poorly done, many called it false however later on ICO team said nothing about the image, however it was hinted that it was done by a "Loved Developer." Now another strange image has surfaced, which seems to connect to "The Last Canyon" this time referred to as "The Last Guy"

Could this be still hinting towards their new project, or could this be Ico's way of saying that they are developing a new game, but it will be their last, it's hard to tell with these tiny hints they are giving, let a lone how fake they look, but the way they hint their way through creating a new project, it's hard to tell what they're planning. Especially since they don't claim any of these images false.

This seems interesting, at the Tokyo Game Show 2007, when there was a lack of public KH trailers to show, Xplay took it on themselves to review the currently, and probably will always be JP version of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+. They are a bit off on somethings, but you can't expect them to beat everything in the game. So without further to do.

It seems that Rya Payton has recently announced in his podcast, that Metal Gear Solid four is in it's "Last Push" for the second quarter, and is undergoing bug testing. However the game will be shipping around the world in release dates only a few days away from each other. So not a simultaneous release but close enough. Also there is a set "Emergency Day" will they will announce the final release date, packaging content, game details ect though the date on the Emergency Day was not given.

Hey everyone, it seems that today Oricon has put up their results for the top vocaled theme songs in video games. What they search for mainly is the content of the song, and how it works with the video game.

In first place came Real Emotion from Final Fantasy X-2, this is due to how the game seemed to have focused a bit more on the light hearted side, also Pop Music has been really famous for the past generation and having it incorporated into a game giving the song meaning of the story as well mixes together for a great result. Even if the game wasn't that good.

In second place came Kingdom Heart's "Hikari" (Not to be mistaken with simple and clean) in which the reason why this song came in second is due to just listening to the song, you are able to understand the meaning of the game, as well as the feelings and emotions the game will bring.

In third place is Final Fantasy VIII's Eyes on Me, this is due to how beautiful the peace sounds, and how much emotion in packs for the scene it is played in, the music focuses around Squall and Rinoa, and this track was the perfect way to show it.

In fourth place was Tales of the Abyss "Karma" This is mainly to do with the lyrics fitting the point of the game very good, giving off the same feel the game was meant to give off.

Final Fantasy XII's "Kiss me Goodbye" snagged fifth place, however it is not given it's own description.

Well music is love but AMV's are becoming a no besides the few rarities ):

I think I was looking for a techno remix of Elevator up and Down cause that song was hypnotic.

Hey everyone, a new scan as surfaced, well not really a scan as it is a preview, but it features the Kingdom Hearts ~New Project~ collection. With these a few new images as well as old ones can be shown, since some of them are hard to view I'll explain the second coded image. The second Coded picture of Sora, Donald, and Goofy shows Pluto meaning that like I said in the previous update, this will show what Pluto was doing. Also the very bottom image is a very first look at Coded's Online Multiplayer.

So I was on youtube searching for a song, a nice song since apparently it was never for download *cough* anyways, I decide to search youtube and on youtube only one time did that song come up and it was apparently in an AMV so I click it and decide to watch this AMV.

THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW IN AMV WATCHING AS I MUST NOW SAY THESE THINGS

    1. LETS PUT INAPPROPRIATE MUSIC IN OUR AMVS!
You have no idea how many times I have run into such terrible AMVs, rather it be because of video editing skills, or in this case. What I would love to call, the music syndrome. You see sometimes people make bad choices in music and that is understandable. Though not it's just over the top abuse of bad music, I don't even watch the Naruto anime or like Naruto for this fact, and even I know putting a song such as Avril's "Girlfriend" song does not fit with the anime. Great job! Now this is what saddens me http://youtube.com/watch?v=J5UG5-nfGJA a good example, this person obviously knows how to make an AMV at least by timing but WHAT THE HELL WITH CLIPS + MUSIC THEY DON'T EVEN MIX! If this song should be used in Naruto for any reason, think like AMVHell did, and use it as a PARODY.

2." YOU MUST EDIT YOUR AMVS"
Another category of FailMV's I'd love to point out, according to many "fans" of AMV's "The music is awesome 5 stars." And by that I mean "Let's take the first 8 minutes of Death Note, and slap an audio file over it then put it on youtube." And people enjoy watching these AMV's and instead of critically thinking it's "I LOVE THIS SHOW 5/5" or "I LOVE THIS TRACK 5/5" There are always the few people with common sense that can come in and say "This sucks" or even give constructive criticism only to have it torn down by a rabid fan of said anime or track and be flagged for their constructive criticism. congratulations fans you have just reinvented fascism on AMVS!

    3. "I used Windows Movie Maker that's why it sucks"
No, it sucks because you used Window Movie Maker's create an Music Video for you feature and slapped it on your account. Windows Movie Maker can make great music videos, it might not have any great effects, but it's the perfect thing to get new people at it started, although some people, or should I say 80% of the growing population is killing that series. Look at tihs http://youtube.com/watch?v=1smeGkA41JU I MADE THIS WITH WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER AND EVEN IF ITS ONLY 20 SECONDS IT PRODUCED BETTER RESULTS THEN YOUR 6 MINUTE AUTO AMV MAKING PROGRAM CAN DO

    4. Naruto, Kingdom Hearts, and Death Note
You know, if you mix these three shows/games together you can find the entire soundtrack of any song you're looking for? And if not you can always turn to Final Fantasy or Full Metal Alchemist. That's right these three things have been subjected to what I would love to call AMVirus. There is not one thing you can find without one of these categories popping up. You can even search for something like "School shootout" and some audio clip of such a tragic event will be butchered by one of these three shows that the fans thought would "slip".

    5. This AMV has a coherent storyline (Death Note Spoilers)
This is one of the few comments I have read when deciding to spend five minutes of my life watching an AMV, so apparently according to this AMV I saw, I would link it but it seriously is a sad cause. Light killed L, then L came back alive, Near was with L the entire time and Light never met Misa, L loves Light but Light loves Near, and Near has a fetish for the other guy who is with Takashi and in the end Light died and came back because L is apparently jesus because when he appeared Light opened his eyes again and it all ends with Light once again killing L in the exact same spot he was before.

Wow if I saw this before I watched the show I would have never wanted to see the show after reading that comment, seriously if you're going to make a bad AMV, at least have it follow the events of the show or anime especially if you're trying to get a meaning out of it, AMV's tell stories unless it's a parody or if you just want it to be full out action and not base it off the song, so you used a fast pace song that's great.

    6. animemusicvideos.org picks their top AMV's
See if I want to watch an AMV I go here, this is because when you go to their top 10% every AMV there is top notched, it's great they finally updated the list with more top notch videos. But seriously listen to me when I say this, would you rather search on youtube to find an AMV of let's say Euphoria and you come across this? http://youtube.com/watch?v=NUZXcS8QMLg or would you just lookat AMV's top 10% (Ironic I'm using youtube again) and come across this. http://youtube.com/watch?v=b23Wi5Yhb7o&feature=related

There are others that make great AMVs that don't end up on AMV's top 10%, but unless you hear from a friend who knows a good AMV, or if you just look for anything relating to AMV awards, or even if you have someone who knows a good decent knowledge about AMVS, then trust their word.

    At least they tried
I will always lol at this comeback as I hear it too many times. Back when I made my first AMV I couldn't stop watching it, but back then I was an AMV noob too, now I look at it and my only comment is "THIS SUCKS BALLS" Yes I hated my own first AMV because it sucked, but let's face it seeing people do that now is a rarity they just produce the same crap over and over again.

So in conclusion, just don't youtube AMV's at all unless you hear them from people or do a little research on AMV.org and by that I mean in the list they made of good AMV's. There are a few raregems of non-famous AMV makers that do not have an AMV.org account making good AMV's but once again a rarity and I tip my hat to those rarities.
