When I get sad or upset, I think of the things that are good. You love someone and they love you. That is a great thing. People gossip. That is what people do and they will continue to do it. If you have a strong bond with any of your parents or siblings, you should try to talk with them. They know you better than anyone here and they can probably help you more. Don't worry about what people say. Life is WAY too short to worry about what some idiots say. As for the person you love, time will work out to a point when you can be with each other. Just love him, no matter where he is and cherish that. One day you will have the chance to truly be together.
