OOC: I'm eating dinner, FYI, so stick around if I get offline for a bit. BIC: Tyre nodded. "Maybe; or maybe not."
OOC: I'm going to upload videos of myself playing Guitar Hero now. Just thought I'd let you know. Because everyone cares... BIC: Tyre looked out the window. "There's a ship following us...shooting at us. Looks like pirates."
Tyre leaned in close to Wing. "It's not as bad as you think," he said, smiling slightly. "Besides, there is always a way to return to your normal life. All you have to do is..." The ship jolted and Tyre's head collided with a bulkhead. "Ow, what was that?"
OOC: Jerk. BIC: "Maybe by getting a job," Tyre suggested, shaking his head slightly.
OOC: I'm impressed you looked at both of them, not too mention only one of them...Thanks Hidden. BIC: Tyre said nothing about the odds on the lottery. Better not to destroy peoples' dreams.
OOC: Thanks, me too. I showed Pirate earlier, but just to give you an idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sx7FMvrvGzg This is the hardest song on Guitar Hero, and this is basically how well I can do it (give or take a little). Also, I showed Wing this earlier, but I found a great song for Xardius (lyrics on the side): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q35zbGpwkGs
Tyre looked vaguely sick for a second. EDIT OOC: Oh, I'm good...except for my failure to apply for any scholarships, and keep up with my math homework...Other than that... Anyway, my main accomplishment will be playing Guitar Hero in a annual talent show competition. I've decided I'm talented enough.
OOC: Lol, that's true. How have you been Hidden?
OOC: I missed my turn to say "Hi, Hidden!" Oh well... AND NULIX IS BALD!?!?!?!?
Tyre listened with interest. He didn't know about anyone that he could really say he liked: there were certainly girls he'd had random conversations with on the street whilst running from assignment to assignment, but Alyt was the only girl he'd ever really gotten close to. Even then, he'd known she was perfect for Tera Roth. And he had been right.
"She's coming onto you, Xane," Tyre chuckled, nudging him.
"Yeah, things always seem to work out with you blokes," Tyre said...
Tyre started to think about all the important people he'd known over the years...but ended up thinking about girls instead.
OOC: I was thinking about some random anime thing...Don't worry about it. BIC: Tyre waited patiently.
OOC: As many as want to be I guess...It was Wing's idea to be a Phoenix, not mine...As for the total number, I'd say that this is probably all there is: you could say prolonged exposure to Xardius could awaken some inner power, but... I'm guessing no more than 5 or 6 at most: Vecked, Xardius, Scourge, Wing, and that other dude that I'm always forgetting his name. EDIT OOC: Geez, I'm slow... BIC: Tyre just sat there...
OOC: Notice, Nulix, I said earlier that Vecked's power seemed blocked; I left it up to you to gain any more power. Also, Wing's a new Phoenix, so...not full strength yet. It's more generic than it sounds. BIC: Tyre was annoyed. "Look, Vecked, it was your idea, so stop being so pessimistic. We just need to start somewhere."
"To see Saak I guess," Tyre said, punching a text message in to Tera Roth, who acknowledged. "We're set. Let's make up for lost time." Tyre walked quickly for a while, eventually coming to a part of the forest that was unburnt and whole. In a clearing sat a sleek, small gummi. "This should get us there," Tyre said, opening the hatch and climbing in.
OOC: The massive battle vs. the Air Army. Like I said, a long time ago. (Right after we exited Kingdom Hearts). I didn't make a big deal out of it, so it's probably natural you don't remember. BIC: Tyre shrugged. "South-east is our best bet. I can contact some people and they'll prepare a ship for us." He began walking, leading the others.
OOC: Sorry Pirate! Xardius became full human again a long time ago, so no... But I don't think Nobodies are artificial anyway...
Xardius was desperately trying to keep himself from burning up inside. Since the others were talking, he walked over to Tyre. "I have...to go..." he muttered. "Keep me informed." He opened a portal and dove through it, slamming it shut, and then unleashing a wave of energy that ripped a crater 10 feet around him. Breathing heavily, he flexed and slammed his fists down, smashing chunks of rock out and away. His power flitted like a flickering flame from him, sending a pillar of energy into the air. Xardius sat back in his deep tunnel he'd created, letting the power die off. Breathing heavily, he shook his head. "What is this?" he muttered. "Phoenicians weren't meant to live together," the woman said, sitting beside him. "At least we weren't." "What do you mean?" Xardius asked, annoyed. "We're different than the others," the woman said, her eyes sad. "They're natural...we're not." "What are you talking about?" Xardius growled, grabbing her and forcing her to look at him. "Tell me what you mean!" "We're not real, Darius," the woman said. "We're just a mutated copy. Haven't you realized? You have more power than Vecked and Wing combined. That's because we're artificial. We're like a black hole of power. You're constantly getting more and more until one day, it will consume you." Xardius reeled back, stunned. "And the others?" "They will top off," the woman said. "We're the only ones I've ever met who don't have a limit on their power. Who can self-destruct." "I won't let it," Xardius said. "I'll control it." The woman shook her head. "You will try."
