The voice over's for Luxord and Larxene have been confirmed in some sort of way. According to Shanelle Gray's official website, she is set to reprise her role as Larxene. KHInsider's Forum Member Xango99 sent an e-mail to Robin Downes, asking if he would reprise his role as Luxord for Days to which he replied: "I most certainly will!" Well there you guys have it. It seems like the original cast is coming back and joining for the 358/2 Days production. I'll make sure to keep you guys updated if Jesse comes back to voice as Roxas. The new scans that were posted last week from Famitsu, now featured some interesting facts about what's going on in the images below. Translations for the new images are coming later tonight/tomorrow. Translations are finished. Everything that's written in black was translated by me. Everything that's written in RED was translated by Bittermeat from Heart Station. In Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Roxas changes while carrying out duties for the Organization. Is this why Roxas looks so emotional in the newly events scenes below? The world "Neverland" is confirmed as well as new information. Roxas: "We're just like humans! Can't you trust your comrades?!" Roxas: "Who is Sora?"Things start to change as Roxas observes things. Roxas appears to know about Sora from somewhere. He seems to also be drawn into his own existence. Roxas: "What...? This...?"Castle Oblivion that appeared in Chain of Memories is where Sora's memories were taken away and replaced with lies. Roxas came to Castle Oblivion for the first time and strange things started to happen. Xion: "What should I do? Riku..."Xion, who is a new member of Organization XIII is worried about her own existence. Xion has no one to help her out, not even Roxas or Axel. Hook: "Ugh!! Darn it! Heartless again!!" Captain Hook with the claw hand and the old pirate appear in the image above. They were in search for treasure, but all they got were heartless. Roxas: "Huh? What's this? It's shining..."Tinker Bell meets up with Roxas and sprinkles shining powder on him. Is she trying to tell Roxas something? From the effect that Tinker Bell gave him, Roxas is able to fly freely over the sky. Battles can take off in the sky. In this image above, Axel is working on defeating the heartless. LIMIT BREAK THAT DEFEATS ENEMIES IN A PINCHWhen the player pushes down and holds the A button at the same time the HP gauge is low and the character is in critical condition, you can invoke the “Limit Break”, a special finisher system familiar in Final Fantasy VII. While exceeding usual speeds and increased offensive abilities, you can annihilate neighboring enemies at once. There is a time limit when invoking the "Limit Break". When it's being used, a white bar appears on the hp gauge. It ends when the white bar is exceeded. Additionally, Limit Breaks can be when playing with the members of the Organization during multiplayer mode. ● Linking panels is the key to the customize features In this title, you can improve a character’s weapon and abilities by arranging the panel slots. In the panel screen, there are things called “link panels” which enable a frame to have plural panels. What you put inside the frame of the link panels determines what kind of strengths and abilities you customize. The yellowish line has a frame for the link panel. When you fit the "Dodge Rush" panel into the "Dodge Roll" unit, it changes into a technique that is evasive and also blows off enemies. Since the link panels with the same effect may differ in shape, you must consider the arrangement well. Improve the character stats with the panels. If a "LV UP" panel is attached to the link panel of "LV2 Up", the level goes up accordingly with the arranged number. Those who are confident in their skills can choose not to increase their level. Even in the same link panel, the ability enabled when panels are added might change. For example, in the link panel for "Reflect Guard", if the panel for "Reflect Guard" is put on it own, the ability is enabled. Hey everyone, I've got some exciting news to announce about the Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days fandub production. As mentioned on the March 1st update, I stated that the roles for Xion and Diz would finally be announced today (March 20th). For countless days, I've been working on teasers, choosing the voice over’s for Diz and Namine (which received thirty auditions alone) and writing scripts. It's been a huge project and I'm glad that it's finally being shown tonight on KHV. First off, before I mention roles, I want to thank everyone who auditioned for Diz and Xion. It was a tough pick as there are so many talented members, but I had to choose two for the main roles and another two understudies for this production. If you guys are still interested in voicing other characters for this production, then go for it! Deadline for all other characters end April 1st. The Understudies: These are very important roles. As an understudy, you are still part of the production. You may feel like you won't have any knowledge in the production, but truthfully you are very much involved. You may not be voicing, but you will receive the scripts and etc, in case the members who are voicing the characters are dropping out or unable to record when I need them too. If you were picked as an understudy, this is also a good thing because you came very close to also being picked as the main character. The feeling is neutral to a lot of us, so hopefully most of you know what I'm talking about or at least know how I feel. I'm sure in a time, (I'll use the word) MOST of you have felt like you weren't accepted in something unless you were one of those popular kids. So, for the past few years I've always felt alone or not good enough. Some of my friends or just random students at school tell me to smoke or drink and etc. It pissed me off, because I don't have interest in it. I'm also not afraid to say this, but I'm a virgin and for that I've been also teased and not looked at in the right way. I know what I'm doing is right, but it still makes me feel lonely. As I get closer to senior year, I'm falling apart and fell like I'm losing control. The move from New York to Florida has killed me. I moved in August and it's almost been a year now. 2010 is my graduation year, yet I'm not graduating with the same kids that I was with my whole life. It's like I'm now graduating with students that don't really know and care for me. I don't feel accepted and now all I see is scattered memories that flash in my head. The feeling is the same with me no matter where I'm at. I feel I'm not accepted anywhere, which includes the internet and KHV. Let's face the facts, I'm only known on here because I'm the reporter, but if I wasn't, none of you would know me. I feel like I would have to bend backwards to be accepted. They always say that you need to make the best of life, but sometimes you do and still nothing happens. All I know right now is that I have a best friend/brother that is exactly like me. The only thing that hurts me is that I'm 1500 miles away from him.

The release date for Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days has been decided for a May release that was announced about two weeks ago. Famitsu has updated last night explaining that the exact release date for Days in Japan would be set on May 30th. Below is also a preview of the Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (DSi bundle) case. As promised, this is an update for the fan dub production of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. This update is very important. For those of you that don't have a clue about this production and are interested in reading more about it, make sure you read the 1st update and then the 2nd update before reading the continuation of this update. I assume many of you are up to date and have been waiting for this update for at least a week or two now. First off before I continue, I recommend that everyone who wants to audition joins the Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days fan dub group on KHV. This is a great way to tell everyone about who you want to audition as. You will also find out more information in the group before it's even updated on the main page. The group is also great to just talk to other members that share the same interest. Stay active guys. I haven't mentioned it in the previous updates, so it's about time that I give a deadline. Auditions for Xion end March 20th. All other auditions (Ex: Namine, King Mickey, the Organization and etc) end April 1st. No this is not an April fool's joke. This is very important guys, so please make sure you keep tight with the deadlines. The subject date can also change at any point due to lack of videos or an increase from Japan's release date. Accomplishment: It is very important to finish this fan dub as Japan releases the game. We need to work on this fan dub before it releases in North America. Fans usually don't enjoy watching fan dubs when it's already out in English. It's up to us to show the community what we can do based on the translations we got and the impersonation of the character's voice that we are dubbing. It is so important that in your auditions, you have the emotion and best mic quality as possible. I recommend that you do auditions without music, friends/family in the background. A mic can pick up anything at any time. Teasers: I will be making a couple of teasers before I actually release the fan dub. The first teaser will be Xion mumbling certain words, but still not enough for you to fully hear her voice. It will be very short and end with "Coming Spring 2009". Now each teaser will have two characters in it. They will appear to be talking and then it cuts off to a black screen. I think I will voice in the first teaser (Roxas) with whoever I've chosen for Xion. Then we'll push it to Xion/Riku and then Xion/Axel. This process will be broken down into many teasers. This gives you guys a great chance to do more dubbing. Flexible: Those of you that audition, I need you to be flexible if you are picked as a voice over. Once everything is figured out, I'll be contacting you through emails or pm's on KHV. It's very important that you stick with me as we record the fan dub. As as I said before, I'm very strict on this fan dub. I'm so exciting and the auditions that I've received have been amazing. You guys are in for a treat when it's all done and finished. Understudies: I think I will pick an extra for each character. Its very possible that you guys may get caught in something and won't be able to voice in the fan dub. Just remember, this production isn't just one video. There's a couple that will make it on KHV. You guys that get picked as understudies, will have to also stay active. If the understudies don't get picked in the fan dubs, your names will still be noticed for your hard work. I will be sending the scripts and that cannot be seen until the fan dubs are up and running. Did You Make the Part? Late last week, Square-Enix announced the Kingdom Hearts: Piano Collections. A video was added today, where Yoko Shimomura discusses information on this particular piano collection. During the video when Shimomura was being interviewed, there were two short snippet tracks from the album. The 1st song that's heard sounds something like Dearly Beloved, but the second song that was played for a short period of time could not be made out. As of now, the Kingdom Hearts: Piano Collection is slated for a May 2009 release. The release date for this collection seems to be coming out very close to Japan's release of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. Hey everyone, Famitsu has updated with some of the new screenshots that we saw previously this week. Also there's new information that needs to be mentioned. Once again I'm working on translations, so please check back often as I finish the update. Introduction: There's information regarding the appearance and the event scene with Roxas and Luxord. The sale for Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days has been decided for a release in May of 2009. We are still waiting for detailed information on the Nintendo dsi bundle version. Roxas and Axel are having a conversation on top of the clock tower in Twilight Town. Xion hasn't shown up yet and they are waiting for her to join them. Axel seems to have a serious face expression. Is it possible that Axel knows something that Roxas has no idea about? It's the reunion scene as Namine and Riku are talking about Sora. They are worried about his memories. Roxas visits many various worlds with the Organization members. These two particular screenshots are from the world "Alice in Wonderland." Luxord (#10) is also in this world with Roxas. The hearts can be collected by knocking down enemies. The number of hearts is gathered on the top left of the screen. If the enemy is continuously attacked, "Chain" is generated. More hearts can be collected by defeating the enemy in the state of the chain. The magic in this game is different. It requires the range of the attack, movement time and etc. There are some examples. In screenshot #1 Roxas uses Blizzard. Blizzard shoots the ball of ice that goes after the locked-on enemy. Blizzara in the second image shoots the mass of cold, which freezes the enemy. I believe they are saying that Blizzara isn't as powerful as Blizzard. The ability of Roxas can be adjusted by freely applying arms and the ability that became like the panel and substituting it. Even the multi play of this system that can operate the member of the XIII organization is effective. The performance will be variously changed shape by the card of Luxord and the spear of Xaldin, and change at the same time. (rough translation) Source: Famitsu
