I am very fond of the 360's integrated hardware-based custom soundtracks. Jethro Tull while playing Fallout, Apocalyptica during Burnout Paradise and Amon Amarth during Gears of War.
Except both KISS and Metallica are good bands (incidentally, I like KISS more than I like Metallica anyway.)
No 360 version? This makes me sad as I don't have the money for a PS3.
Is "Yakety Sax" what you're looking for? By the way, its mostly a sax, not trumpets, though there is a section with other brass instruments.
Get it for the platform that people you know have it for. The PSP version of Legends is unbelievably better than the DS version. It has tracks and cars from the first three games with Burnout 3's game mechanics.
Never played Burnout 1 or 2, Burnout 3 kicked all kinds of ass, Burnout Revenge sucked and Burnout Paradise isn't bad.
...
As I've stated before, I dislike metalcore/screamo, but that's not why I'm making this post. I post here to say this: Metalcore is NOT and will never be death metal. Amon Amarth is death metal, Job For a Cowboy is death metal, Between the Buried and Me is progressive death metal, Cannibal Corpse is death metal. The Devil Wears Prada, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for my Valentine, Underoath, etc. are NOT death metal.
Simple concept here folks, just post some recommendations of female fronted bands, metal, rock, punk, anything really. Battlelore, power metal band with elements of industrial and death metal with vocal duties shared between a male vocalist and a female vocalist. Epica, my personal favorite symphonic metal band. Simone Simmons is a brilliant singer and the band uses a perfect mix of modern metal instruments with classical instruments. Luca Turilli's Dreamquest, one album out, though mostly an excuse for Mr. Turilli to show off his keyboarding skills as opposed to the guitar skills he shows off with Rhapsody of Fire, their mystery vocalist "Mystique" is what makes this band for me. Nightwish, one of the most popular female fronted bands for a reason. Tarja Turunen is a great vocalist (though not a great solo artist) that put out some great material before she was fired. Her replacement, Annette Olzon has had mixed reactions from fans. I personally prefer Annette over Tarja, but both are great vocalists. Within Temptation, another symphonic metal band that uses a mix of orchestral and metal. Xandria, though she quit early last year, Xandria's vocalist was what made this band. Hopefully Lisa Middelhauve's replacement, Lakonia, will prove to be just as good.
Surprisingly good. I'll be honest, I was expecting some generic pop punk POS like Fall Out Boy or Panic at the Disco. However, I believe I'll have to look further into their work.
Not counting Tenacious D, Weird Al, Psychostick and Richard Cheese: "Beer, Beer" by Korpiklaani. If counting Tenacious D, Weird Al, Psychostick and Richard Cheese: "Down With the Sickness" cover by Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine
I like Tool, but I'm not familiar with Maynard's other projects, so I'll have to look more into A Perfect Circle.
While not acoustic, Tyr and Korpiklaani are great folk metal bands.
Last I checked, the stuff on Indestructible was their newest work.
You play on a gameshow. A very, very violent gameshow.
I can scrounge up a boatload of reasons why you should stop shopping at Gamestop this instant. As for MadWorld: Yes, the game is a violent bloody fun fest. Keep it away from anyone under the age of 15. Far, far away.
I highly agree with this statement.
No offense, but what the HELL is an 8 year old doing playing Resident Evil?
MadWorld. Get it.
I'll give them credit for trying something different, but I don't like it.
