I was scared of CSI. At first I loved it, and I would watch it with my dad (my mom thought it was too scary for me), but then sometimes everyone would go to bed before me and I wanted to watch, so I'd watch it by myself... at night... and... yeah, it really freaked me out. And now I'm afraid of what could be under my bed in hotel rooms...

This is true. I learned about it in Psychology class... *shudders* But yes, technically teenagers are physically ready for sex. However, I personally think that most teens are not psychologically ready for it. They aren't mature enough to understand what it truly means, and what the consequences are. Teens tend to live in the moment and believe that they are invincible, and so many don't think about the long term consequences. And even if they do give the consequences a moment or two of thought, they generally think "That could never happen to me." And that's how they convince themselves that it will be okay, and that they're ready and prepared, when in reality a majority of the time they are not.
