Enlighten me. How does Blu-Ray save the enviroment? =S
Just like the title says, are there times when you feel like you're the only one who has a certain opinion on a subject. Keep it simple, and can be about any topic whatsoever. Am I the only one who finds HD/Blu-Ray to be nothing special? I'm not paying hundreds of extra dollars just so I can see the pores on someone's face a little more clearly. Plus, I honestly don't see that much of a difference anyway. Am I the only one who is unable to play any Final Fantasy game, due to the sheer badness of them (they're not fun to play, the stories are horrendous, etc)? In case you're wondering, I've tried FFX, FFX-2, and FF11. Am I the only one who doesn't really care for Super Mario Galaxy? The only thing that wowed me was the soundtrack. Am I the only teenager that doesn't own a cell phone?
I collect (drum roll...) vintage cartoons. I collect Warner cartoons, MGM, classic Disney, Walter Lantz, Fleischer, Famous, Columbia, etc. Now nearly owning all 1003 LT cartoons, all the T&J's, there's little else to do but to collect the rarer studios that aren't on DVD.... Not the easiest of tasks.
As you can see, I've kind of lost interest, and now just play them just to kill time. xD Really, the ONLY video game I still play is Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. =p Still... I'll never get tired of whipping arse alongside Donald & Goofy. No matter how tiresome and lame everything else gets.
-Disney characters being cardboard cutouts of their real selves -Poor character development, storytelling and dialogue -Kairi & Sora in KH2 -Unable to skip cutscenes in KH1 -Org 13, none of them having any form of interesting personality -Worlds being used over and over (Hercules, Aladdin) -Sora being such a idiotic crybaby in KH2

The guillotine, forcing her to watch Family Guy, forcing her at gunpoint to drink acid, pouring gunpowder and a lighted match down her throat, pour gasoline on her hair and set it on fire, cover her in honey and unleash a rabid grizzly, throw her in a meat grinder, hand her a magnet when she's standing right next to a knives shop, push her into gator-infested waters, send her to Antartica while forcing her to eat only ice and snow, send her to the desert and force her to eat only cacti, poison her sea-salt ice cream, pay Sora to stab her with the keyblade, drop an anvil on her head, stick her finger in a pencil sharpener and go from there, pay Woody Woodpecker to peck her to death, steal Goofy's shield and beat her with it, tie her to railroad tracks, cover her in chum and kick her in shark-infested waters, pour scorpions down her shoes, lock her in a tanning bed, sneak a rattlesnake inside her spaghetti, pour electric eels down her swimming pool, use the electric chair, shoot her out of a cannon... Or, just shoot her with a machine gun.
There are some things that are so hilarious, it causes you to laugh so hard, you wear out your laugh box for about a month. This article was one of those things. I just couldn't bring myself to bring a serious post to this thread after reading it. :D
Left 4 Dead is highly reccomended, but there's just one problem... It's ONLY fun when you're playing with somebody, online or just a friend with ya. Otherwise, it gets old quickly. With a friend, you'll be addicted to it for quite a long time...
Certainly a bizarre choice for a movie adaptation. I'm curious as to how they'll stretch the story into two hours!
You're certainly right. This is still a terribly animated movie that deserved its response and more. I mean, the animation is so bad, they move and look like mannequins (like Beowulf or Polar Express)! :S What was the point? It would've been easier to just film the thing in live-action, with CGI special effects here and there when needed.
This movie is proof as to what can truly be accomplished with CGI in terms of storytelling and characterization. Nothing.

Nope, but only because I never used him. His constant screaming when you attack is, shall we say, not endearing... Really, the ONLY time I ever used summons was in KH2FM, using Genie during the ES fight.
Hmm... Let's see... Older Sora- 1. Is annoying, unlikeable, stupid, dimwitted, and whiny. 2. Has kickass clothing. 3. Is more fun to play as. Younger Sora- 1.Has little personality, but is at least likeable. 2. Not in the kickass category, but cutesy (which I also find endearing). 3. is also fun, if not as fun as Older. Yeah, younger Sora gets my vote. "Wow! It's doing something!" didn't help poor ol' OS.
No love for Donald and Goofy? Simply shameful (watches Polar Trappers, Bill Posters, Crazy with the Heat, The Whalers, The Fox Hunt)! =P
Yes. THE GOOFY DEATH SCENE IN KH2!!! ...Just kidding. ^^ Actually, one Disney movie still makes at least one tear go down my cheek to this day, even though I am indeed a 17 year old male... The "Baby Mine" scene in Dumbo... :(.
There is a difference between believing in god, and being religious. You can believe in the existence of a god, but not feel the need to worship/praise him (my mother believes Jesus exists, but has never prayed nor gone to church a single day in her life).
Same here, I just get tired of the constant atheism vs religion threads I see in this section. Nonetheless, there ARE a few intelligent, level-headed members here capable of having a conversation about religion/atheism/agnosticism. Of course, people like Repliku or CTR are the exception, not ze rule.
