    I always participate. I always turn off/unplug everything, then go walking around the neighbourhood with my friends. We're thinking we might bring eggs this time.... you know, in case we find any jerkwad houses that turn on every light possible.

    My goshness, it's actually really quite good. The animation was well done, the 3D scenes were incredible, and the voice acting was awesome. It was really funny as well, although some jokes I wouldn't imagine I would understand as a child.

    See it. :=D:

    Marriage

    Gay marriage is legal here in Canada. I know that many gay couples come here to get married. Do they still retain their marital status once they return to their home country? I hope someone knows, 'cause I've never found that out.

    Non-religious gay marriage could solve some problems, I suppose. But what if a gay couple wants to be married in a Christian wedding? I have a friend who is gay and is Christian. When he does get married, I would assume that he may want to be married in Christian wedding. What then? (Hypothetically speaking, of course, as he can get married here anyways.) Allowing homosexuals only non-religious marriage would be leaving the religious homosexuals in the dust.

    Making all marriages non-religious would cause more problems than it would solve. It's not that I don't support that idea, I think it would work if everyone was willing. But the thing is there's a frickin ginormous majority of people that would not like this idea at all.

    I am agnostic, but one of my favourite quotes is "Is it a good idea to prove the existence of God? What happens to faith if you have proof?" I have a firm belief that there is a higher being, a deity, or some kind of afterlife. I believe that many religions are just different interpretations of the same thing. While studying the different religions, I've found so many similarities that it's nearly impossible for me to not believe that they are related. Judaism, Islam, Christianity, and even more ancient religions like Taoism and Hinduism; numerous parts of their sacred texts have so many similarities.

    Yup yup. I follow Demyx Time and Sora Show (though they haven't done any Sora Show episodes in a long while). Demyx Time gets better and better each episode, even if they do take a long time to make. The wait is worth it. Their obscure references are amazing.

    I feel like bragging. Why Canada gets to air American shows before America, I can't say why. But I'm totally not complaining.

    By the way: Richard like totally went up numerous notches on the fawesome Lost character list.

    One of my first memories was watching morning talk shows with my mum before I was old enough for school. I didn't really understand what they were talking about, but they were just so colourful and cheery. :=D:

    One of my favourite old memories was meeting one of my best friends. We met because our kindergarten cubbies were beside each other. We've been in the same classes all the way through grade school. But she moved last year and now she's five hours away. ;~;
