So every year at school we have this competition called Quiz Bowl. You assemble a team of four people (plus one alternate, in case someone can't make it), and it's more or less team Jeopardy. Now I was pretty confident about our team going far, but I found out today that we were going up against the Valedictorian of our grade's team. So I thought we were, essentially, screwed. We beat them 720 to 280. :B
I found this on dA and laughed a lot. xD
I saw this on another website and I thought it would be a fun idea. Basically, what happens is let's say you have an unfinished PSD (Photoshop Document). Instead of leaving it on your computer to rot, you post it up here and let someone else finish it off for you. Kind of like a collab, except less organized. Where should I upload my PSD? There are a lot of different sites for this. My personal favorite is mediafire, but megaupload is also very popular. Neither require an account for downloading or uploading. Please do not use Rapidshare, it just pisses people off. I use Gimp! What should I do? Good news -- Gimp accepts PSDs, so you should have no problems opening the documents other people upload. If you're looking to upload, however, when you would usually save the document as an XCF, save it as a PSD. How do I post the PSD? Code: [*url="link to the uploaded file on mediafire/megaupload"] (remove the asterisk) If there are other frequently asked questions, I'll update this. Here are two of mine (click the image to download):

Happy four year KH-Vids anniversary to me. :B I feel a little pathetic... In other news, it's a snow day and I'm sick. D: I just threw up in my mouth a little, which compliments the raw feeling in my throat beautifully.
tossed together in about half an hour for a SotW on another forum. The theme was 'blue'. Cnc? <3
And in this episode, they've revealed that CoolAsianTherapistGuy is gay, Olivia called someone "baby raper," and a judge said the words "heebee jeebes". I love this show.
So these guys are pretty cool. Kind of strange and out there and pretty dark, but very catchy. I've only downloaded 'Fabulous Muscles,' but it's very good. :] I first got hooked on I Luv the Valley OH. Recommended Songs: Clowne Towne (so catchy!) I Luv the Valley OH (a bit creepy, but awesome) Brain the Vampire Support Our Troops (Black Angels OH) (this song scares me a lot)
It's been a while. In a sick way, I kind of missed you. Love, Misty P.S. please never show up again. :c
and I was fairly close to my house. I looked across the street and glanced at this white house, and I see an open window. Upon closer examination I realized that there was someone standing at the window with a phone in their hands, staring at me. D: I ran the rest of the way home.
xD ilu
I also ate about 24 tic-tacs in a one-hour period. Are the two things connected? o:
My sister came to me yesterday and said that she thought she had gotten a virus. She was getting all of these notifications that say things like "Your computer is infected with spyware, click here to fix it". (not directly that, but it was along those lines). Also, when she tried to get on to sites like Youtube or Ask.com, the browser would display a message that said something like "Your security preferences have restricted this site, blah blah blah, you have malware." We knew not to click those, and I downloaded AVG and Spybot Search & Destroy to try to get rid of them. AVG scanned and found nothing, but Spybot found quite a few things and got rid of them. The notifications have stopped popping up, which is nice, but she's still getting that 'Restricted Site' message. Nothing else seems to be wrong with the computer, but I'd really like to get rid of those. :/ I can screencap them if it'd help, but does anyone know how I can get rid of them? I don't mind having to download programs or anything.
I haven't posted a band in a while. :] James Scott "Jimmy" Tamborello, more commonly known as Dntel, is an electronic music artist. He is sometimes cited as James Figurine, the co-programmer and vocalist for the electropop outfit Figurine. Other projects include Strictly Ballroom, Headset and The Postal Service. I've only downloaded the album 'Dumb Luck,' but I'm planning on getting the rest soon. It's some really excellent stuff imo, kind of a gritty lo-fi electronic with acoustic guitar thrown in. I'd recommend it to people that like his work in The Postal Service, as well as people who like Grizzly Bear or Animal Collective. Recommended Songs: Roll On (Ft. Jenny Lewis) Dumb Luck To a Fault (Ft. Grizzly Bear) Breakfast in Bed (Ft. Conor Oberst) myspace: x official website: x last.fm: x
I just got my hair cut and it hasn't dried/curled yet but IT'S WAY TOO SHORT. My hair grows really slowly, too. ;_;
that you can't stop the beat!
comptine d'un autre ete l'apres It's the name of a song and I'd really like to know what it means. c: Babelfish gave me the usual non-coherent translation.
a bunch of icons I have never really gotten around to posting. :3 same rules apply as always: free for use on here, if you're using them offsite then just let me know through PM/VM.
So there I was, sitting in my living room, watching that one hilarious Lifetime movie about Andrew Luster and how he gave LIQUID X (in all caps) to like 30 women and raped them and filmed him raping them etc etc and at the end they reveal that he lives like down the street from me. It's like eight o'clock. Well anyway, my mom wasn't home and it was just me and my two sisters, neither of which are very brave. Then my doorbell rings. My doorbell isn't even the pleasant chime that every one else has: it is this horrible loud, gritty, nearly-piss-yourself-in-the-pants-every-time-it-goes-off doorbell. So of course we look through the peephole, which I hate doing because it hurts my toes. And I see this black figure out on my porch. So I'm freaking out more and more and I somehow manage to lock the front and back doors without it making a noise. We then turn off the TV and all of the lights and close all of the curtains, run upstairs, and hide for a really long time. After we hid and freaked out, we eventually called our mom and told her that we *might* be raped and murdered. I went and checked through the peephole and he was gone, so we turned on some lights and I could see some footprints leading into the backyard. I'm still a little scared he's hiding in the shrubbery in the backyard, waiting for me to be home alone. I just thought you all should know in case I abruptly stop logging in one day.
Give me a program plz. :[ If it works on Vista I'll be a happy camper. Free would be super awesome. I've already tried two (one was called like Metamorphosis or something and the other was called Flexible Renamer) and they both kept closing (or not opening). There's a lot of files (about 2500), they're pictures in BMP format. I want to be able to name them with a prefix and then numbers, like this: thisismyprefix10203229832983.bmp
Just a little design I came up with whilst listening to a team camps song (hence the lyrics). Might make a nice tee shirt. Hiding it behind a spoiler because it's a bit large.
