A few weeks ago, my sister mentioned to me that my stepsister, Nicole, had her relationship status as 'Married' on Facebook. Now I knew she had a boyfriend but I just brushed it off thinking she'd just put that because from what I understand it's a fairly serious relationship. So anyway, when I saw her next, my sister mentioned that Nicole looked like she was pregnant. I brushed it off again, saying that she'd probably just gained some weight. I didn't say anything because, obviously, that'd be rude. I went on Facebook today and she had uploaded pictures of an ultrasound. Her facebook status says something about the "little one on its way". .____________. wat
Okay so. I do not have an excellent history with boys. At all. There is very little to speak of, I find the concept of dating in high school to be a bit idiotic. But that's beside the point; I was kind of creeped upon last summer and asked out via Facebook byone kid, which I said no to because I didn't know him at all. Now recently, this other guy, we'll call him John, came up to me in the halls. He said something along the lines of "I know I'm going to come off as creepy here but I see you around a lot and I wanted to say hi to you." I did find it a bit creepy, but I said hi back, and that was it. He added me on Facebook and I accepted, and we started Facebook chatting. John brought up how he had seen me about a lot, and heard about me through a mutual friend, and wanted to say hi. He seemed nice, and we talked for a while. After a while he began saying that he found me pretty, wanted to hang out, etc etc. I was a bit frazzled by this. Yes I was happy to be making friends, but I didn't want to let him think I wanted to have any sort of romantic involvement with him. Quite frankly, I don't think I'm ready to do anything like that, I have a hard enough time being just friends with people. I kind of have trust issues, I'm very very reluctant to open up to people at all, even people I've known for several years. It has to do with my parents' divorce, but that's not what this thread is about. Just relevant information. I know you can't have a relationship if someone isn't willing to open up. I mentioned that I was excited for Tron, he asked if kids our age go to movies still, I said I go with my sisters usually, and kind of said that he could tag along if he wanted. He said it'd be nice. I figured he wouldn't think much of it as my sister would be there. My mom is a little possessive when it comes to my sisters and I, she likes to know where we are, who we're with, etc at all times. I really don't mind because I know it's out of wanting to keep me safe, but I knew she wouldn't be chuffed with me running about with boys, so I thought I'd mention it to her. First though I brought it up to my sisters. One of them just kind of shrugged it off, the other said that she recognized John (I had Facebook open and showed her a picture & then she remembered her name). She said she'd heard a lot of things about him, like that he apparently shaved off his eyebrows and had creeped on people she's known in a similar manner to what he's been doing to me. She said I should probably steer clear of him. So I'm kind of stuck here. I don't know what to do; on one hand, I think maybe that it's all just rumors, that he gets misjudged a lot. Another part of me wants to heed my sister's warning (and I do trust her judgment a lot) and just stay away. I thought I'd ask for some advice; am I being paranoid or should I just go for it? sorry for the essay post. D:

Wow wat how is there no topic for this. o_o Tell me if I'm an idiot and missed it. Okay so I went to the midnight premiere last night. Spoiler and omfg, it was amazing. While I do think that there were some good parts in HBP other parts dragged it down, but I don't think that that was at all the case with DH, especially considering how slow the book is. The decision to split it into two movies was definitely a good one, I quite liked where it ended too. I am going to be very sappy and lame and say that my favorite part was when Harry and Hermione danced after Ron left. <3 It was so perfect and wonderfully awkward and I'm sure Harry/Herms fans will be all over it (do they exist?) but it was great. I also was kind of surprised at the locket scene! haha. I mean it definitely was good, but wow, they did take it far. Also, Ginny is such a **** in these movies. ._. Also, Fred & George. <333 Edit: OH! And the Hermione Bellatrix scene in Malfoy manor was so sad. At first I was kind of ehhh on Dobby's death/burial, but I liked the way he's like "Such a beautiful place to be among friends..." ;_____; Edit 2: Oh, and the animation during the Three Brothers story was great.

Today, I switched the day of my gym class so that I will be in a class with friends instead of my current gym class, where I'm that sulky quiet kid in the back who no one actually likes but has to put on their teams because no one else chose them. Wednesday is my birthday, and I will (hopefully?) get my permit and initiate my master plan for life. Thursday night is the midnight premiere of Harry Potter. /my life is awesome How about you, KHV?

Watching all of the Star Wars movies and playing Lord of the Rings Monopoly with my sisters. Best Halloween ever? I think so.
I have been ridiculously hooked on this show for a few weeks now. :B This is the first season I've ever seen of it, and it is amazing. I love EW's Episode Recaps, they're hilarious and usually spot on. (the Prince of Darkness, lmao) Anybody else watch? If so, favorite team(s)? Least favorite? cut because I talk about eliminations. Spoiler I absolutely adore Brooke+Claire (Team QVC, the watermelon girls), and Gary+Mallory (Team Heartland). Mallory is just adorable and Brooke and Claire are just hilarious. I liked Team Glee for a while too but they're gone now. :c I hated the Volleyball Girls, soooo glad they went home. They were so snobby. And Jill+Thomas are horrible, I hate Thomas so much. He is so mean to poor Jill. ("WE HAD SUCH GREAT POSITIONING AND NOW WE JUST TOTALLY RUINED OURSELVES") And Chad is just a jerk. |: I'm not sure who's worse really, Chad or Thomas.
