I totally get what you're saying about detaching it from context. My favorite song off of the +44 record is Weatherman for that exact reason. It's so sad, and I can relate so well. And you should really check out Love part 2. Love was a boring album, but it's worth a listen as well I think. They also came out with a movie recently, also titled Love. It's been nominated for alot of film festival awards and the like. And omg every time I see Blink live, and they play Carousel, I always yell at whoever I'm with, "I wonder if he'll get the intro to Carousel right!" it's always awesome to see them live.

21 Days is great. Everything off of Buddha was amazing. i feel like their lyrics were better back then as well. For my birthday in March I'm getting a couple of piercings, and a tattoo on my hand of the lyrics "I won't be living in yesterday" from the song My Pet Sally Ah, if you like Angels and Airwaves, you should hear their brand new album, Love part 2, it's the best I've heard from them since the whisper record. I love +44, but at the same time, I can't really listen to them too easily. Most of the songs Mark had written were about the blink breakup. No it Isn't and Chapter 13 were both specifically about Tom, and it just makes me horribly sad to listen to the whole album. Mark released No It Isn't on Tom's birthday as well, just to make sure he heard it. Just ah, the breakup was rough, even for me because that band was there for me through divorce, abuse, and all sorts of stuff, and hearing how hurt Mark was, and how indifferent Tom was when he made Angels and Airwaves was hard. Not that I prefer one of them over the other, I love them both, haha. They're my favorite musicians, however terrible they may be at their instruments, of all time. Mark Hoppus inspired me to start playing bass as well.

I just think that maybe, just MAYBE Galbatorix is still out there suffering in his own way from what Eragon did to him, but either: 1) He's going to come back to seek revenge on Eragon, Nasuada, and all of Alagaesia or 2) He's going to help from afar, and maybe stay out of everyone's way until discovered.

Spoiler To be honest I was disappointed that Arya was the new rider, though I'd seen it coming since Eldest. I kind of wish there was a bit more to it. I just felt like the entire ending was rushed, everything was moving so quickly as I was reading. OH one more thing Spoiler Did anyone get the feeling that Galbatorix isn't dead? There's no freakin' way it was that easy, and also, the way he 'disappeared' was rather fishy. I do however, question the thought that he might not be gone, because if he weren't, Eragon wouldn't have remembered the eggs and such, but then, Galbatorix knows the true name of The Ancient Language, so he could EASILY hide from Eragon. I dunno, just thoughts.
