Lol at advertising. The longest I ever uploaded was around 45 minutes. However, if I were to upload game time for a HL2 playthrough in one video, I would probably have a 12 hour video.
Nothing comes to mind, as a matter of fact, because I don't consider it to be "politically incorrect," because it isn't. My bad, I misread that. But, I have called my (Caucasian) friends nigga' as a joke. But the reason I don't use it to describe a black man, is because it would be taken to be offensive. I think you are misunderstanding where I am coming from. My entire point, is that it does not matter which words you use, as long as they are not derogatorily intended. Patman actually brings up a good point of how "blind" is used. Should we be offended by that? No. Because it isn't used in a derogatory manner. I use gay in a descriptive way. If people take offense to it, it is because they want to take offense to it. My friends don't take offense to being called ******, so actually, in that way, I do agree with what Michael is saying. Public speaking 101 says to "know your audience." You speak differently to your parents, friends and strangers. If I meet a person who happens to have mental ******ation, I'm not going to use the word ******. It has all to do with who you are talking to, which, unfortunately, you seem to be unable to fathom. You should change your voice and use of words depending on who you are talking to. This is the internet. If people expect not to be offended, I would recommend they choose their sites carefully. I don't care for assumptions being made, that is all. As far as your maturity, I think it would be considered flaming if I started talking about it. But as a matter of fact, it does make a lot of sense, it just lacks presentation. My point is this; The Language is never the same. It seems like you think it is. Words are chosen depending on the audience, and it has different meaning depending on the audience. I don't give a crap if you are offended if I use 'gay' or '******' to describe something, it just means that your interpretation is that I am using it in a derogatory manner. I think being offended by words just reflects upon people's ability to objectively analyze, or rather lack of ability.
That. For your convenience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=CiOujYl2TjM#t=39s
Remember; just because a majority says something, doesn’t make it right. ****** is used in a derogatory manner. ****** isn’t. We’re not talking about ****** or gay. We’re talking about ******. ****** is different, because it is indeed meant derogatorily towards homosexuals. Unless it is used in a derogatory manner, for example, if you look at one man kissing another and calling them “******s.” I would call them out on that. If someone called someone with mental ******ation ‘******’ in a derogatory manner, I’d call them out on it. That’s not their fault. If someone in Norway calls someone ******, it is a joking way of saying that someone is acting strangely, often stupidly. However, we don’t call people with mental ******ation ******ed. We often use the actual diagnosis, or “(mentalt) tilbakestÃ¥ende.” (which means mental ******ation) What you call bigotry it just you interpreting my use of words as a result of prejudice. I do not choose my words to offend. I use my words with the idea that people are capable of understanding that people have different interpretations of words, and that languages change. I don’t know whether or not you realize this, but the language changes. It’s common to call someone gay when men act in a feminine matter. ****** is not a depiction of how people with mental ******ation anymore. It might have been. It isn’t anymore. How mature of you.
Indeed like jaywalking. I don't think this law will have any effect at all. The interpretation of a word is subjective. In any case of expressing thoughts, it is always the down to the subject to interpret, and whoever utters the said phrase or word does not stand at fault, unless offending was the actual intent. Also, the reason I can, and will continue to use '******ed' descriptively, is because how I use it. I do not call anyone with mental ******ation '******,' because in that setting, it will be derogatory. Also, the word ****** is used in Norway. Only a minority reacts to it negatively, and you know why only the minority reacts? Because it is not used to offend people with mental ******ation. Just because people are unable to look beyond their own understanding of what other people put in the words they use, doesn't make the one who uttered them at fault. For crying out loud, my friend has a sister with Down's Syndrome, and he doesn't take offense to the use of the word ******, he even uses it himself.

In danger of making this thread go off topic, I feel I must reply. ******ed means less advanced/slower/slow/delayed. If people find the term '******ed' offensive, I don't care, that's just them making it offensive, which it isn't. In this case, it is not used as a synonym for stupid or annoying. It has nothing to do with mental ******ation either. However, it is ******ed in the sense that it's slow thinkers whom have come up with it (which I guess makes them stupid, I'll give you that). It is a law that will not do anything what so ever. People will continue to text while walking, only now there is a chance they may get some sort of "warning" from an officer.
You should stop whining about people not calling people anymore and how we need to be in contact with someone all the time. You sound like one of those elderly people claiming that "everything was better before." Today's society is a technological one, and because of this, we are the way we are. My entire life revolves around technology, I do most of my schoolwork using a computer/internet, I contact my friends with my phone, I order food with my phone or the internet, and the list goes on. In short, the law is ******ed. Slightly more than 1,000 people visited emergency rooms. How fucked up does legislation have to be where one thousand people makes it so a few hundred million inhabitants can't text while walking? Not that I care, I'll do it regardless. All you have to do is look up once in a while while texting, and you are fine. I always browse vg.no (Norwegian news) or something similar on my way to class, I just know how to use common sense, for deity's sake! To me this is a law that could only happen in a nation where common sense has to be forced by law.
I see your point, but why would you need a prefix if its the same? Diet coke and coke are similar, but different, because of the prefix. Prefixes are there to differentiate minor, but nevertheless important, differences.
There is not a difference in my mind. The "difference" is that two people of the same sex is getting married. It's marriage, it doesn't need a different definition. Chocolate spread and peanut butter is different, because they taste different, they are completely different things. Same goes for black and white, they are two different colors. They "mean" something different, they are different. Marriage is marriage, regardless of the sex of the people involved.
Go meet Mike and fuck his brains out
I did. My point was that he referred to it as gay marriage. Regardless of point of view, if you still call it Gay marriage, you're still acknowledging that there is a difference, which there shouldn't be.
Until people stop calling it gay marriage, there will always be a difference.
Just to clarify... Homosexuals are gay!
No! Because then people would eventually marry goats and cows!
What the hell happened here? o.o
No, not that! The other thing!
Tell them what you told me!
I have an android. Do you use WhatsApp or something similar?
