I think Sora makes more sense because of the Dual Disc keyblade. :/ Without it, I think Riku will look sorta weird.

My theory:

Sora and co. will meet a new character named Krandess who acts like she's helping you, but she's really another Xehanort collecting information about Sora. Krandess and the other Xehanorts form the darkest being possible, and the battle begins. But after the battle, something happens. The X-blade is formed, and it starts to have a mind of it's own, and battles Sora and the co.

Actually, after you watch Birth by Sleep, I'm starting a project that combine Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories, and 358/2 Days, since they're kinda intertwined. 358/2 Days starts after Kairi saves Sora and Chain of Memories occurs during Days 25-27. I'm putting all of the cutscenes plus a few fights together in order to make an epic movie saga (about 4-6 movies in total!) :)
