Running close behind Pocahontas, she kept close and kept her eyes peeled at the area around them. She needed to make sure that Pocahontas was safe, at this point everyone else didn't matter, and she was sure that Kel and Luna agreed with that sentiment, after all it was Luna who warned them about Pocahontas being a princess of light. She almost hoped that it was Radcliff, it would be a good excuse to beat his face in. He was annoying to say the least and she didn't put it past him. After seeing John Smith at first the Englishmen were likely to attack over nothing. John nearly did but he was someone who they could reason with, the short conversation that they had with Radcliff was enough to tell Aislinn that Radcliff was not the same way. He was set in his ways and there was no way to try and change his mind. As they approached the camp, Aislinn noticed that it was not the Englishmen that were attacking, but heartless! She ground her teeth as she looked at them. "Heartless. Of course they are here too. John stay back and watch Pocahontas, don't use that thing unless you have to. It probably won't help you much and I don't want anything going off course and hurting an innocent. We have dealt with such fiends before, leave this battle to us." She instructed, trusting John enough to at least keep an eye out for Pocahontas for now. Luna had already jumped into battle, and Aislinn didn't waste too much time following behind. While she didn't like Kocoum, she had to get the heartless away from him as well. He was innocent in all this, even if he was blaming John for a situation that had nothing to do with these worlds in general. Taking up a battle stance, Aislinn began to beat back some of the heartless, focusing on the same ones that Luna had taken out. If she could get rid of all of them it was just one less thing to worry about, even if they weren't necessarily the biggest threats in the area. While typically she opted to take them out by power level, for this taking out the lot of them seemed a little more logical, at least until she managed to get Kocoum somewhere safe, then she could worry about dealing with the rest of the heartless later. It wasn't easy to take them out, not when they flew above her, but jumping and fighting for it, Aislinn managed to finally take out the last five of the Aerial Knockers, before turning her attention to a ship like heartless that Luna had damaged a little bit. Neither of them could take it out on their own, but if they combine some effort they might be able to lessen the threat of the bigger heartless, that one would take some time though. Using the last bit of her energy, she threw her keyblade at the battle ship before turning her attention back to Kocoum. "Come on, I got you. Lets get you out of here." Aislinn said quietly as she began to drag him away closer to where Pocahontas and John were hiding, but not exactly to them. She didn't want to attract the heartless that way if they followed her, but she would find him some cover none the less. The next task will be to make sure that the Chief was okay. Perhaps that should have been her first goal, but it just happened to be that Kocoum was the first one she saw and thus the first one she helped. "I am not free because I was fighti- Damn it!" The girl who he was just provoking punched his brother, who presumably had come over to help him. He was slightly proud of Jim as he punched the girl back, that was until she scared Jim half to death and hid behind him. "You know I said a chick fight. I can see where you were mistaken, but my brother isn't a chick. So I suggest you calm down..." James started to roll up the sleeves of his prison uniform and crack his knuckles. "You know I don't mind getting in a scrape, not fond of finding out what this muzzlers do, but if you want to pick a fight, lets just keep it away from my brother." Jay suggested rather casually. "And maybe away from the man... thing... with a stick up his ass." Jay motioned to Ace. As far as he was concerned Ace was boring and didn't like to have a little bit of fun. "Why don't you go pester someone else big man. I can deal with her just fine." Jay tried to suggest to Ace before looking back to his brother. "You might want to back off, you are making yourself look like more of a target and I don't want to be fighting off everyone in this jail for you." He warned. And if they were separated he couldn't. Really he should have been teaching Jim to hold his own, but one last time defending his brother wouldn't hurt too much. He was itching for a bit of a fight anyways.
She should move, she should heal her brother, she should do something! Anything! Instead however Tinarah could only stand as the laughing clown came charging for her, for her friends. His hands were outstretched and he didn't doubt for a moment that he would kill them if he had the chance. But as his fingers were just a hairs breath away from her, he vanished into dark flames. From there light started to shine. Tinarah's legs finally gave way as it subsided and she hit the grassy grounds in front of Edna's home. She could only give a shallow half hearted laugh as she tried to hide the embarrassment. "I guess I pushed myself a bit too hard." She planted her keyblade into the ground as she struggled to her feet, nearly stumbling and placing a hand of Chrono to steady herself. "Sorry." She mumbled knowing that he was more hurt than she was. She didn't take her hand off Chrono's shoulder, but instead placed one on Take's shoulder as well. "Here, sorry I couldn't do more." She offered them one last heal for both of them, and one for herself as well. "Do you think Edna will let us rest one last night?" Tinarah asked, too exhausted to think about continuing to travel any further.
I will take 2 AP boosts and 2 HP boosts, as well as Leaf Bracer
Well the battle went over well enough. They managed to kill all of them this time. Silently Auburn made one more scan of the area, just to make sure that they were really all gone. She was still a little paranoid at the moment about a similar situation to last time happening. It wasn't that she didn't trust her teammates, she just didn't trust herself still. Even so she didn't let herself lag too far behind the others as they continued on their path towards the temple. On their way they came across a river with a branch partly across it. Auburn was looking for a solution when she noticed something. "Um... Did..." It seemed to have stopped though and suddenly Auburn felt like she would sound stupid if no one else noticed it before. Biting her lower lip she focused herself on just the task at hand. She had to think. Her eyes kept darting back to where the statue was, even as the water raged harder. "I um... I" Why was talking so hard, why was her heart pounding so much at the simple mention of her plan. She nearly shrank down to a mouse to just hid, but Auburn knew that she needed her semblance for something else. "I..." Before she could actually get the words out, Auburn's size just grew to that of enormous proportions. From this size it was easy enough to just step across the river. Bending down she put her hand out for her friends to climb on, but she refused to say a word, a little embarrassed about everything. She waited until everyone had got on her hand before she took a large step across the raging river, clearing them to the other side.
With the wind knocked out of him, Karina turned around and kicked him in the face, knocking him to the ground. Mortimer tried to catch his breath and speak up again, but before he really could Karina stomped on his throat. "I don't want to hear your stupid voice anymore." Karina snarled before she moved her foot just in time for her keyblade to connect. It wasn't as satisfying as she thought it would be. The data image faded and Karina felt no satisfaction in the kill, just kind of empty. Staring at the body she finally forced herself to turn and move on, this time not daring to look at the clock as she wondered what awaited her at the top of the next floor. Ascending the stairs, Karina laid eyes on her next opponent. "So finally it is time to see which one of us is stronger, is it? Well bring it on?" She had her keyblade ready and a glint of excitement in her eye.
"Awe come on, let them fight. Chick fights are the best!" Jay called out to the man who stopped the fight. "Testy testy this group is." He commented as he walked towards the man stopping the girls from fighting and put a hand on his shoulder. "What kind of living being doesn't want to see chicks fight? Or what these muzzles do. You know if we can sort that out, I bet my brother could jam them." Jay pointed behind him to Jim before turning to wink at Lydia. "Besides I bet she could hold her own just fine." He didn't stop his eyes from wandering. "So what do you say, letting them fight?" He let out a bit of a laugh and a smile.
This was bad, this was bad, this was so bad. Tinarah couldn't suppress the yelp of pain as it felt like her arms were going numb. She had to hold on, just a little longer, she couldn't let Chrono and Take down. Through watering eyes she saw that Chrono wasn't the only one on his last legs, it seemed to be Kefka was too. She was torn between healing her brother or trying to finish off Kefka. Chrono might survive another hit if she helped him, but he might not have to take another attack if she managed to take Kefka out. Take and Chrono seemed to be going all out, so perhaps she needed to as well. "Sorry." She softly commented as she looked towards Kefka from her brother. "I need to end this before it gets worse." Ice exploded from her as music surrounded her, intertwining between the shards of ice. Bursting forth was a terrible blast of energy and ice and music as it poured forth towards Kefka, bending around her companions. Ice lightly covered her own clothing and keyblade as the blast subsided and Tinarah fell to one knee panting. She was was getting tired. Her body wanted to give out but she couldn't just yet. Dizziness and nausea hit as Tinarah tried to get back up to her feet to make sure that Kefka was down before she let her body get the better of her. "Try me." Karina retorted as she pulled back for a moment. "You know I have learned a new trick. Too bad you can't teach an old dog new tricks." Karina laughed a little bit. She didn't actually think of Fang as old, but she still thought it would be fun to mess with her a little bit. "Who are you calling old?" Fang retorted as she prepared for whatever Karina was going to do, but was caught off guard by the magic that Karina threw at her. A ball of flames shot for her. As it hit, fang stumbled back and Karina got her opening she needed. As she got the keyblade up to Fangs throat, Fang put her hands in the air, dropping her spear to the ground. "Nice going kid. I am proud of you." Karina strolled past Fang, glad that she didn't actually have to finish Fang off for this test to be over. "Well well well, what do we have here." Oh no. She knew that voice, she knew who that was. Oh she was going to enjoy this all too much. "I was wondering when I would get to beat your face in." "What no more smooches?" That was all Karina needed to hear before she launched herself at the mouse. There was no time for talking, she would not give in to his smugness. Flipping her keyblade around, she smashed the end into Mortimer's chest so that the air was knocked out of him. No more talking, she was going to finish this one off quickly.
"You'd be surprised how well we can keep up, especially when I have my music." With that music burst forth and filled the air around them. Tinarah smiled a bit feeling a little more invigorated as music notes swirled around her. "I think we will be just fine now." She couldn't help but smile a bit as she felt like they actually had a chance to win this. The green energy that was almost always around her keyblade turned from green to a frosty blue. Magic gathered at the tip and came out as a large ice shard, followed by several smaller ones that came out behind it. With the blizzard attack in effect, Tinarah launched herself after the attack letting her mind go blank, following the instincts that were drilled into her mind by Torrin. Wait, are any of these guys intimidating?
"Damn it, you are supposed to be the smart one." Jay rubbed his hand against the collar around his neck. "Do you really think they look good, I have to say I am not fond of something this tight around my neck. And before you say it, decapitation will not help." Jay retorted since his brother already implied that once. He wasn't about to get his head cut off for the sake of getting this, so called, muzzle off of his neck. Despite everything his brother was saying Jay knew as well as Jim that everything was not fine. Sitting next to his brother he leaned over and started to whisper. "While those girls do sound very tempting, I prefer the idea of getting out of here before we run the risk of getting separated. What do you say? You said yourself that throwing us in here was going against the law, why not just... you know get out?" It was a stupid idea he knew well enough, but Jim was smart enough that he might just be able to make it work. "Your brains and my muscle. Jack won't know what hit him. Besides if we want a hope at freedom it will have to be before they inject us with that stuff, separated or not I doubt even you can stop that from working." They had a better chance of figuring out the muzzles, something on the body that can be examined compared to something that was injected into you. Either way it was clear that Jay had no plans of just sitting around and rotting.
"Hey, hey don't need to push. I know you all want a chance to touch my beautiful body but not yet, my brother is here after all." He winked at the guards pushing him off, trying to shrug off their touch before they were stopped and he could look over to his brother. "Besides I am saving myself for you. After all, you are only slightly less attractive than me, so it is close enough." Even arrested he couldn't help himself but joke with his brother. For being sent essentially to his death, he was rather chipper. He watched as a man paced in front of them watching them. "Three good punches and he would be out." Jay whispered to his brother eyeing up the exact places he would have to hit to get the hulking man down to his level. "Jackson Grant. Oh I am shivering in my boots already." He laughed as he watched the man trying to be all threatening. "Hey Jack, what happens if you have no hopes and dreams to shoot? Can I just leave?" Interrupting the man didn't bother him in the slightest. It was fun to make people angry. "Stupid. You know I wouldn't say that saving your brother is stupid. The stupid part is that he got caught." He wasn't about to admit that he was wrong, there was no chance that he would say that he was stupid. He wasn't a smart of his brother of course, he couldn't build a ship... well neither could Jim apparently, his blew up. There was a continuation about how they would be divided and Jay almost just shrugged. "Sorry little bro, looks like I can't protect you from all the weaklings after the next three days. Try and play nice. But lets have a little fun together while we still can." He whispered during the end of the speech, completely missing the entire part about the collars that they would be wearing. Just as he finished talking they were pushed off somewhere else for processing, then stripped down and equipped. "Hey! Hey! What are these, don't put that around my neck!" Without his hands free yet he wasn't able to get any good hits on anyone. Once it was on he was shoved into the hall, but at least he was free of his cuffs. "Uh hey... Jim. Do you know how-"
"Not bad, but I have not made a man out of you yet." Shang responded as he countered her with a counter sweep and knocked her down, pointing his staff towards her. "Good thing wood can't puncture my throat." Karina retorted as she took her bare hands and grabbed the staff and pulled him down. As he fell she kicked up her legs and hit kicked him in the gut as he fell over her head and landed on his back with the wind knocked out of him. Getting to her feet quickly, Karina had to finish things off as quickly as she could. She almost felt bad as she approached him, but he was just data, a projection, he was not real. "At least you were a competent fight." Karina stated as she finished off Shang before turning and running off towards the next set of stairs, only taking a moment to glance at the clock on her hand. As much as she was crunching the numbers on how much time she had left, she was trying her best to not focus too much on it. She couldn't let herself get caught up in the small things and lose her focus on the battles ahead. "Well well, if it isn't the kid. Haven't seen ya in a while. Hows it going? Have you toughened up yet or are you still dragging your feet pushing people away?" This woman. She was... she was in the outback. She was in the world where people kept leaving, and more would come only to leave again. "Fang." "So you remembered me. I am happy to see that. So have you learned to change your destiny?" "You tell me." There was a small smile on Karina's face as she finally got ready to attack. Her keyblade swung but was met by the metal pole if Fangs spear. Now this was a staff that had a purpose. Her keyblade swung around again trying to hit Fang again, but Fang was too quick and dodged out of the way. "You got to do better than that."
The magic of the clown kept getting more powerful. The fire that erupted from the rain scorched and hurt as Tinarah tried to guard herself. He was right, they would get tired out and he seemed to still be holding on strong. They couldn't give up though, they had to keep going. She wouldn't fail this world, no she couldn't. Her body was tired and sore, her stomach hurt and she could feel that she wasn't going to hold on for long after the fight. She was not in a good shape still, she was still working on getting herself to a healthier condition. For now the adrenaline could carry her, but for how much longer? Could she keep going like this after things calmed down? It was no time to think about it thought, they had to just think about surviving and getting through this fight. "Come on. Hold on. We can do this." She didn't know if it was for her sake or her friends that she was saying this, but it didn't matter as she cast cure on them all once again, using the MP that Take just gave her. She had to do more however, this was not enough, it wouldn't be enough to just heal, she had to also help fight, even if it was barely. Running in Tinarah tried her best to stay small and dodge the flames as she went towards him trying to at least get a hit or two in before backing up but not hiding behind Take anymore, he didn't seem to be doing well so she didn't want to put him in more danger.
