That shrill voice had been the nail in the proverbial coffin, solidifying who this was in Kel's mind. "Yeah, honestly didn't think you'd made it out." Aside from the clear uncomfort in his voice, his words were true. There were a lot of people back then that he hasn't seen since that world and by this point, he could either assume that they somehow made it out like Leo, er, Zulu as he put it and went their own way. Or that the worse had occurred. He didn't tend to think about much, but it was a thought that did occur from time to time. "No, Kross was tolerable and much quieter than this." Zulu, on the other hand, didn't seem to change much from when he went by Leo and Doctor L for that brief period of time. With all the pirates that had popped up and all the weapons that they were holding, it kinda surprised him that they had managed to get behind cover without a scratch. Granted Karina was keeping their attention with all her taunting and deflecting of said projectiles. "Since you have what they want, we get you out of here and onto the ship with Farris! I may not know how long 1,000 ticks is, but now seems like a good enough time to head back." 5/20
Chrono always wondered why in the shows why people would bother with shooting at a large mech with bullets that very clearly did nothing to them and right now he was wondering the same thing, but feeling pretty grateful for their incompetence. One less thing to worry about in the long run as he turned off the lasers to give them a chance to recharge and swapped out his regular arms for the bladed ones and continued wreaking mayhem to all that was around him. When the explosions started to happen, that hadn't been caused by him, Chrys, Gladio, he immediately noticed that they were no longer shooting bullets at them, but instead had rockets. Something that could actually deal damage to them while possibly destroying the mechs they were in. Chrono had caught a glance at the rocket that was being aimed at him just as the wall of ice rose up to stop it. He might've lost a year or two to his life for a second there.
While Aux was one of the shady people in black helmet's that had caused them grief in the past, his own personal biased meant that Nequa was the one he was more so talking about. Either way, he let it alone and watched Aux continue to struggle with mopping the pink blob until it had formed into a living creature. Morph was what Jim had called it and just like that Morph had left, with Jim, Aux and the rest of them in tow. Their arrival at the captains quarters had ended with them finding the captain bound and gagged as a result of a mutiny lead by some Doctor L. Now the name alone had already brought up a feeling of unease that got worse when apparently it sounded familiar to Aux as well. "Greaaat, that doesn't make me feel any better." Despite the number of 'familiar faces' that came to mind there had been only one that gave him the same feeling as the name Doctor L did and shuddered at the thought of it being him again. "Of course not, we haven't done so before and its a little late to start now." 4/20
Kel certainly wasn't expecting the list of names of people that he did not know at all to all be people who wore black coats, none of which meant anything to him as he didn't know a single one of them. So he really couldn't blame Karina for the answer she had given him when there was to go off of in the first place. "Well, at least we can agree that whoever's wearing the black coat, in this case, is bad." He said to Karina before taking a look over to Aux and his moping endeavors and noticed him struggling with a pink blob. "Need any help? I know you got two mops and all, but that pink blob isn't going anywhere." Stubborn thing, whatever it was. Kel continued to watch Aux struggled before looking back to Jim. "Well, Farris is okay seeing as she didn't throw us overboard, not sure about everyone else though." Silver seemed to an alright guy, not as blatantly hostile as the rest of the crew was to them. "People in black helmets for a start." 3/20
The entire way there Chrono was taking the time to look through the controls to know what he was working with. Electrified blades that can swap out for the hands and two energy beams on the shoulders. The former would've been okay-ish to deal with when they made the attempt to capture it. As for the other weapons, he was just glad that the pilot was too focused on getting up from the magic bombardment Take had delivered to think about using them. Again the fact that he was currently piloting one would've been a dream come true be it not for the circumstances surrounding this situation. Once in the hanger, Chrono moved the mech towards the designated spot to avoid attracting attention. When he was in place, instead of going through whatever the usual docking procedures, his mech armed its shoulder lasers and started firing on the docked mechs in short controlled bursts. Mainly to avoid completely trashing the place this soon into the operation.
Kel did not share the same excitement that Jim did at this Treasure planet. It definitely sounded cool, especially if the treasures of thousands of planets were actually there. His eyes glanced over towards both Karina and Castur at the mentioning of a black hood. "Is it not someone you know?" He couldn't put the mental image of a black hood together with anyone that he's seen before, the closest thing being the coats that Karina and Castur wore so it was worth a shot. 1/20
"If you say so." Even though the acquisition of the mechs had gone smoothly, and hopefully the pilot of this one couldn't recall who had hijacked them while time was frozen for him. He should probably get a better idea on how that work once they got back to the castle. For a more immediate issue, Chrono hoped that this mech was as sturdy as it looked. As Tinarah and Take walked off to get ready for their part in this operation, Chrono decided to worry about the what-ifs later and tried to focus in on that task at hand while there was still time before it started.

Okay, totally not suspicious sounding at all. Come to think of it, he didn't even know where it was that this ship supposed to be heading. They weren't really told much about this ship to in the first place. "Speaking of, where is this ship supposed to be headed to anyway?" He'd put down the recently peeled potato to grab another one just as Karina had walked back in, with Castur eventually making his way back and still not actually doing anything beside lean against the wall. Guess leaning doing that was more productive than moping to him.
Kel continued to peel the potatoes as Karina went off in search of Castur as he was more so hoping that she wouldn't run into any trouble on the way. Partly out of concern and partly cause while Fareed was willing to keep them aboard rather them drop them off in the vast nothingness that surrounded them, he'd rather not do anything that would get them on her bad side until they were near anything really. "Pretty much what she said, not that we had any idea where we were or going beforehand. What about you though, why are you here?"
In seeing Take display his magic for the first time, Chrono was impressed by what he saw up until he saw the mech getting itself up after the first graviga spell. That had been when Chrono considered casting some magic of his own to assist him, but in that that Take had managed to get a hold of the situation with another aeroga spell, thus allowing him to drop down onto the struggling mech. Once he had his balance, he made his way over to where the hatch to the cockpit would be and opened it. As the bewildered pilot tried to make sense of what was going on, Chrono took advantage of his confusion and cast stopga on him. He hadn't completely figured out how long his stopga would work when casting on another person, but he had enough time to knock out the pilot and move them to someplace out of the way. At the very least he would be confused once he woke up and hopefully not realize that he had been jumped by some kids. "As far as everyone else will know it was your first try." Chrono said with a smile as he entered the cockpit of the mech. Alright Chrono, you can do this. It's like riding a bike. A very expensive, deadly and complicated bike. A deep breath later and he willed himself to take control of the mech and pilot it back to the rendezvous point.
Chrono shook his head. "No, that idea sounds good." If worse came to worse, then he could just cast magnet on himself to fix his feet to the mech. The approaching sounds of the mech grew louder until it was practically right underneath them. Chrono got himself ready act as the mech stopped to scan the area directly in front of it. "Ready when you are."
Kel eyed the potato peeler that was handed to him with a raised brow, he may not have known what a potato peeler was, but the action of peeling potatoes actually was something he was familiar with. Typically seen it done with a knife as opposed to this, but couldn't have been that hard to do with a different tool. "I hope potatoes aren't the only thing they expect us to eat." Nonetheless, with a simple sigh, he began the process of peeling the potatoes. He merely gave Castur a mere look as he walked out to presumably gather information. "Good luck moping there Aux."
With Tinarah choosing to partner herself with Chrys, that basically left Chrono and Take as the last group which wasn't a problem. He still had some misgivings regarding Chrys, but she's yet to do anything to warrant him distrusting her fully. He trusted his sister and her judgment. That and he knew next to nothing about Chrys that wasn't something he'd overheard so being partnered with her would've been something. "Let's go see that magic of yours." As much as it unsettled him to see a hulking mech walking around the streets on patrol, it brought up questions of what they were patrolling for even more. It was probably just his paranoia speaking and realizing that kept him from diving further into that topic. Instead, he looked to Take, "How do you want to do this? I could probably make a jump onto it once its stopped."
He appreciated Aux's honestly just as much as he did the fact that the Captain seemed to the opposed to the idea of killing in general and not just killing them. Still not too fond of the idea of being property, but it was better than nothing. They would still be alive after all which was more than enough for the time being. Still, he had no idea what these so-called spaceports were and with the captain gone, he decided against trying to ask anyone else on the ship. Reluctantly, even more so after Aux's display, he followed down to the lower decks. "Long as 'playing the part' doesn't come back to bite us." Any way of having 'fun' while they were here was currently lost to Kel. Castur seemed to be getting on Karina's bad side just by speaking and Aux had put a new meaning to 'finders keepers'. Perhaps they would get lucky with these tasks and it would be a better chance to settle and not get into trouble. Spoiler: Totally a Pirate and not another Tales of Character
This was going to end well for them had been the conclusion Kel had come too due to the varied responses from his friends. Karina's was fine as it was nothing new given what Castur had said about her and what he's known about her. Now he certainly wasn't all too fond of the idea of moping the floor of the ship after being accused of stowaways considering, well, the first thing he said to them. He'd put up with it should that be the case, but he definitely wouldn't do it of his own free choice. Kel could only groan by the end of it. If they were going to lie, tell the truth, or whatever, having their stories straight would be helpful. "I'm inclined to agree with Karina on this one, they were already looking hostile when they were pulling us aboard. Long as we can stay on here, we might be able to work something out later." He sighed, then looked to Aux. "Anything you want to add that could be of some help would be appreciated."
Kel immediately feared for the worst upon hearing the tightening sound around the ship. This really was the end for them, wasn't it? Death by suffocation in a ship while lost in what might as well be the middle of nowhere. The renewed rocking of the ship had ended up with Kel being thrown near the window, allowing him to see the ropes that were secured to their ship. So maybe this wasn't the end as he was so quick to assume, didn't fully make him feel any better about it all. None of the people on the ship looked particularly fond to see them and they certainly were the oddest looking people he's seen. Their treatment had been less than stellar. Pulled out their ship and held as they were poked and prodded while the crab-like man spoke to them. "I'm Kel and last I checked we were pulled onto your ship by your crew. We were just traveling around aimlessly beforehand." He was less so bothered by the captain's question, but more so how they were being treated as if they had intentionally hitched a ride on this ship.
Everyone was in agreement on regarding Castur's random button pressing, but it didn't stop the sound of hissing air sounded through the entire ship as air was slowly being loss. Well, that was just great, they hadn't even gotten to their destination and were already at risk of dying. "Please tell me you remember what button you pressed before we started losing oxygen." Kel could only hope that there was some good outcome to this.
Well Castur was right as the idea of Karina running around using fire wasn't that unbelievable, but the name thing was something that he could only guess at. He didn't though, figuring that whatever her reasons had been she'd tell them if she wanted to and that could easily be never depending on how she felt, so why push it. Speaking of, Karina had called him by a different name too. Did everyone over there have two completely different names? The assortments of beeps coming from had distracted Kel from the idea as Castur attempted to reassure them that his actions wouldn't lead to an untimely demise. "Could you not press random buttons if the risk of blowing up is a possibility?"
"Were you planning on piloting one if we went and grabbed three of them, cause if you think two of us can fit by squeezing I'm not sure how you would fit in there." Chrono knew he wasn't the most physically built person, most of his physical prowess lied with running and climbing stuff after all. He would like it if they could keep any havoc or collateral damage limited to anything Gigas related, which would be something entirely up to them. Chrono then looked to the others. "So, you guys ready to hijack a robot?"
