Seriously. From the new TGS trailer: The World That Never Was, in the castle. Saix orders something to Axel. Saix: "Your worthless friendship or the extinction of Roxas. Which is more important to you?" :yelling: Axel looks ticked off.:nerve: Even Xaldin could be nicer. I wonder what makes Saix and Axel hate each other so much. I think Nomura said that the 358/2 Days story would go deeper into the Organization members' personalities. Any creative ideas? 8D I say it's their contrasting hair colors. (so not being serious XD)
Note: Sorry if this has been posted before. Please close this thread if it has. I don't want to step on anybody's feet. D: This theory is about what happened VAT... sort of. It's pretty far fetched, so maybe you'll just enjoy a good laugh. XD I am just going to say that Master Xehanort needs a heart... for some reason (how's that for detailed?), and he's after Terra's. Since Terra's heart is too strong, MX has to weaken it. Therefore, he does something horrible to Ven (I'm not sure quite what, but it causes him to disappear somehow, and then causes his clone to pop out of Sora O_o). Possibly since that doesn't work, MX then goes after Aqua. But getting to my main point, MX weakens Terra's heart so much that it breaks. I am thinking that the pieces of his heart form the various Terra-look-a-likes in the previous KH games: Xehanort (ATW's apprentice who later becomes heartless Ansem from KH 1), Xemnas, and the Enigmatic Soldier. It seems like the Enigmatic Soldier has most of Terra's hatred, and Xemnas has most of his sorrow (Aqua's armor in the room of sleep >.>). I think Xehanort (ATW apprentice) is the chunk of Terra's heart that MX got a hold of, because when he turns into a "heartless" he is wearing MX is clothes. And as for Aqua, I think she is the fourteenth member. (Big surprise) I don't understand the whole "Xion" name thing, but I think it's just an alias to get into the Organization. Somebody said on another site that the "Ino" could possibly be her other name, since it's apparently the name of a Greek sea goddess... Aqua=water=sea? Bleh. Ignore that last sentence. On some of the other sites they are saying that the Fourteenth's hair is indeed blue. I am now almost completely sure that she is Aqua or at least a form of her. But why would she be in the Organization? Maybe she's trying to bring Terra (Xemnas) and Ventus (Roxas) back. That's my best explanation. And that pretty much sums it all up folks. Not a very good theory, but maybe it'll spark someone else's ideas. :D
I know this is rather quick, but Xaldin just updated that the fourteenth's name is "Shion" and not "Xion." I did a google search of "Shion" and a guess it's a type of daisy. But then again, that was from wiki. O.o What did you guys come up with?
Please close this thread after the question has been answered. Is the PSP region free? I haven't got one yet, and I was only going to buy one for BBS. I am hoping they will release a special edition PSP for Kingdom Hearts, like they did for Crisis Core, but obviously that is not confirmed. So if they do, is the PSP region free? Thanks
Randomly, I was thinking about how the title/logo for KH2 did not show up until after Roxas' seven days in Twilight Town. So does that mean those seven days are not a part of KH2? I am starting to think those seven days are the ending to 358/2 Days. Or maybe right before that. Or maybe I don't know what I am saying. =.=' I need some sleep.... SooooooooOOOOOOO what do you folks think? 8D
Since there has been no news on the new KH titles for at least 5 months, I am beginning to wonder if they're considering changing platforms. Now, don't shut me out! I've got reasons: First, the problems they have been having with the DS. They complain that the platform does not have enough memory/power, since they are trying to make the game in full 3D with voice acting. The PS2 was capable of doing that with KH1 and KH2, but can the DS really match up? And with multi-player? By the end of this summer!?! But since I do not own a DS maybe I wouldn't know. I haven't seen a 3D game on it yet, so I do not have the best idea. Though, smaller the platform=lesser the quality. Second item on the list is the lack of news on all the games. If they are considering a change in platforms, (which is not official, just an observation folks), then they wouldn't release news until it was set in stone. But, seriously, I could be wrong. However, I have heard there is a new PSP and DS coming out.... Bleh... I can't make up my mind. Help? :xp:
This is an idea with no evidence, I just thought it might be interesting to you all. Damnatio Memorie literally means to damn someone's memory. In other words, you erase that person from books, pictures, life, etc. It has happened before in Earth's history, especially in Ancient Egypt and Rome/Greece. If someone of the royal family or any family for that matter dishonored or did something to upset everyone, they would have Damnatio Memorie committed upon them. I remember seeing a fresco painting of a family from Ancient Rome where one of the son's faces was etched out. They also did it to King Tutenkamun (sp?) of Ancient Egypt. They erased him from any writings, but left his tomb intact strangely. "Damnatio Memorie" is indeed Latin, "damnatio" meaning to damn and "memorie" meaning memory. In Kingdom Hearts, if something like that should happen to someone, that person's heart would either collapse or shatter. Now, we know something terrible happens to Ven's heart: Terra: I have a friend. Tell me, what did you do to his heart!?! If you notice in the KH2 Final Mix secret ending, Xehanort does something to Ven before he freezes him. Black flames engulf him, which I am guessing is whatever hurt Ven's heart. I am not saying that "damnatio memorie" is what Xehanort did but I am talking about the idea of it. From the trailer script translated by bittermeats at KHInsider: ヴェン「誰だ? あんたに会ったことなんか…」 Ven: Who are you? As for having met you… 何かを思い出したように驚くヴェン。 Ven seems surprised at having remembered something. ゼアノート「そうだ、お前は失っている。」 Xehanort: Seems that you're losing it. ゼアノート「しかしそれは永遠の喪失ではない 手に入れるために失ったのだ!」 Xehanort: However, you haven't lost it permanently. In order to obtain it, give up. ゼアノート「今こそ全てを取り戻し、真実を掴み取るのだ!」 Xehanort: Now recover everything, and discover the truth! 老人が手で魔法?を発動、ヴェンは混乱と恐怖に陥ったような表情。 The old man releases magic from his hands, Ven's expression becomes confused and fearful. Then there's this scene as well which supports this idea: 夕暮れ時に海岸を見つめるヴェン。 Ven stares at the shore as the sun sets. うつむき加減で、少しくらい表情のヴェン。 He is looking downward with a despondent expression. 「『友達』だから頼みたいんだ、俺を、消してくれ」 We're "friends", therefore I wanted to ask something. Erase me. ラスト、羅列ですが… It's the last scene… And perhaps that's the reason why no one remembers Ven. They would have said something when they saw Roxas. I've also been wondering why King Mickey, since he obviously knows who Master Xehanort was, didn't freak out when he met ATW's apprentice, Xehanort, or not even remember VAT at all! "Damnatio memorie" is just an idea folks. No theory here.
Some people think it's going to be VenXAqua, but I don't know... Terra and Aqua seem to be much older than Ven. In the KH2FM secret ending, Ven seems a little immature, not in the sense that he's a brat, but in the sense that he is young and has little experience. Meanwhile, Terra and Aqua seem to know what they are doing. In a KH2FM cutscene, Xaldin refers to Sora as being ten-years-too-early to be wielding a keyblade. Who knows what that means but I hope that point is clear. So, yes, I think Ven is too young to be with Aqua. Why I think she is with Terra, is because of her armor being in Xemnas' room of sleep. (Wow, I just realized how wrong that sounds XD) Seriously though, I am going with the idea that Xemnas is Terra's nobody and not ATW's apprentice's, Xehanort. (I am still working on that theory so hang tight) Here's a good counter argument: If Ven is connected to Sora somehow, and Aqua is connected to Kairi, wouldn't it be obvious? Weeeeellll, maybe, but remember what Riku said before the race in KH1? Sora: If I win, then...uh... I can be captain. And if you win.... eh... Riku: I get to share the pauopu with Kairi. Sora: WHAT!?! Riku: Agreed? Winner gets to share a pauopu with Kairi. >3< Cute scene! Anyway, this is why I can't be sure. However, I don't think TerraXAqua is far-fetched. But for all we know at the moment, there could be no relationships at all! What do you guys think? Final Note: For those of you who think it'll be TerraXVen, no, just no.
I am posting it in the Upcoming Kingdom Hearts section because I think the new games should count as well. Some folks don't seem to understand why us fans are so excited for the new games, like this kid here: http://forums.khinsider.com/future-kingdom-hearts/104717-does-kingdom-hearts-suck.html And people wonder why KH2 Final Mix+ never came outside of Japan. Sheesh! That's why I think that this is important. So I'll start: I like the overall story. It is entertaining, and most of all it's fairly lighthearted. It's not dark or violent. It's just right. (I feel like GoldyLocks XD) As a girl, I don't really like seeing female characters wearing, er how should I say, PRACTICALLY NOTHING! Although some people might say KH2 Kairi's dress is rather short, it really is not bad compared to, let's say, Dead or Alive characters. (seriously) DISNEY CHARACTERS!!!! 8D That's how I came to first play Kingdom Hearts. My cousins recommended it to me because they knew I liked Disney. Kudos cousins! >3< Organization 13: seriously, that bunch is the best group of villians (or are they?) that I have ever seen in a video game...beside Sephiroth. He's pretty kick-ass, too. I haven't the time to play super-long epic games like the Final Fantasy series, so I am thankfull for the apperances of some of the characters in the KH series. I like the overall gameplay. I happen to SUCK at playing any video games. The gameplay in KH is very easy to understand, and it isn't so hard that nOObs like me can't beat it. YAY! The voice acting, especially in KH2, is PHENOMINAL for a video game. Most of the other video games that I have played have really crappy voice acting. The original characters, like Sora, Kairi, Riku, Org.13, etc., are great. Tetsuya Nomura did a wonderfull job with their creation, and I can't wait to see what the new characters are like! The music is absolutely beautiful! Shimomura does a wonderfull job with composing the music. Though I do wish she would use some more Disney songs for the worlds' music. Wow, long list! ^^; Sorry. Anyway, what do you guys think? And please don't be shy to share what you don't like, too! There's always at least two sides to everything. ENJOY THIS HAPPY THREAD!!!!!!! :P .........and please don't be mean. :nono:
 I thought I heard a different tune in Dramatica's "The Other Promise." It wasn't Roxas' theme. Listen from about 2:40 to 3:10. Could this be Ven's theme? Other stuff: KH Insider put up the translated scans of CLOUD vol.1. Not much new info, but interesting nonetheless. Apparently, Saix was the second member of the Organization. Hmmmmmm..... http://www.khinsider.com/main/cloud-vol.-1-translated-scans.html SUPER-DUPER QUESTION OF DOOOOOOOM: Do you think it is worth posting a theory? I have one in mind that has some pretty good proof behind it. I ask because I will have time to work on it soon and I want to know if I would just be wasting my time. Thank you. -twilightsbringing
This is one of Utada Hikaru's, (the artist who writes the theme songs to the KH series), new singles that just came out. It is called "Heart Station." It's hard for me to explain, but it reminded me of the plot of BBS. You can watch/hear the song on YouTube if you search for it. Here are the lyrics: Rainy day that chills the skin The two of us, not believing in this separation The radio was playing inside the car Saying goodbye is meaningless If we're able to meet again someday Don't you think it'll be a beautiful thing? Are you able to hear my voice? 1 o'clock at night, on heart station A dial that doesn't need tuning A secret hertz Are you receiving the frequencies of my heart? Heart station of sinners A secret only God knows I miss you... The more I think I need to forget The more these thoughts remain Even if we are apart You are right here In the middle of my heart I thought I heard your voice 1 o'clock at night, on heart station Two pulses, always beating somewhere Are you receiving the frequencies of my heart? Heart station of lovers We're receiving a request again tonight "I Love You" Are you able to hear my voice? 1 o'clock at night, on heart station A secret hertz that still connects us Are you receiving the frequencies of my heart? Heart station of sinners A secret only God knows So what do you think? Could this be a possible theme song for BBS? Or is it just another song?
So in Physics class the other day, we were having a lecture on the properties of light. Our teacher asked us "Why are sunsets red?" And... I practically repeated Axel's line in the 358/2 Days trailer... and guess what? IT WAS CORRECT!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: I was his favorite student for the rest of the day. Who knew? I just thought I ought to share that piece of useless info with you all.
I was looking at some artwork by Omoide on Sheezy Art and I noticed that she said if you inverted Terra, his hair and eyes would be the same color as Xemnas'. So, I tried it out for myself and got some suprising results. Xemnas inverted: http://img03.picoodle.com/img/img03/4/2/17/f_Picture5m_c27318e.png Terra inverted: http://img03.picoodle.com/img/img03/4/2/17/f_Terrainvertm_399a58b.png another inverted Terra: http://img32.picoodle.com/img/img32/4/2/17/f_Picture8m_a720476.png :gunwtf: I am completely convinced now. Xemnas is not Xehanort's nobody. He is Terra's. Note: For a little more evidence to this idea, take a look at the nobody symbol (yes, another symbol theory =.=). It looks like a broken UPSIDE DOWN heart. Upside down=opposite=inverted? I am fairly convinced. Keep in mind that this idea does NOT hold true for Roxas and Namine (the special nobodies). What do you guys think?
Many people, including me, are wondering if the Twilight Town Mansion is connected to the new games, especially Birth by Sleep. I have searched that mansion thoroughly for clues to Birth by Sleep and here's what I noticed: *There are four chairs in the dinning room (4 people living there?) *There is an odd clock in the dining room. It's design includes a skull and bones for the arms of the clock face. It's an interesting design for a clock, considering time kills all things eventually. (maybe this symbolizes that fate is inevitable) *All the paintings are blurred. No one can tell what they are. This is strange because the paintings/pictures in other worlds, such as the Beast's Castle, are clear. What happened at this mansion? *Many rooms are inaccessible. Why? (Also, in the original design of the mansion, there was another room whose entrance was inside the dinning room...) *No one has lived there for years.... *Obviously, some sort of battle took place at the mansion, outside and inside. Tables broken, glass shattered, random "castle objects" crumbling, what more evidence is needed to prove that some crazy stuff happened!?! *AND WHY IS THERE A SECRET LABORATORY IN THE BASEMENT!??!! I DON'T THINK DiZ HAD THE TIME TO BUILT IT!!!! (I'd also like to mention that all clocks in Twilight Town are all at 10:10. This should be in the time of dawn, but the sun is always setting...) Theory Time: I also noticed something about the symbols on the walls. The most prominent ones are wings and crowns. Now remember this: http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/8316/54921900tu7.png I'm going to go through these symbols one by one and try to make it interesting so wish me luck!!! 1. The symbol on the top right is NOT a heartless symbol. It is in fact the exact same symbol Terra wears on his belt (and Ven too). The reason it's not a heartless symbol is because it is missing the thorns/chains that cross it. 2. The bottom symbol is a crown. (Roxas' absurdly large hands are blocking it, but it is a CONFIRMED crown). Perhaps this is connected to the crown symbols in the dinning room... but then again I have no idea. :P 3. The symbol on the top left is a "Nobody" symbol. If you look at the designs in Organization 13's castle, you will see a repeated themes of wings. If you look in the Mansion, there is also a repeated theme of wings. What does this mean? Beats me! :D Yes, well, it's over now. I congratulate you for having this much patience. XD Anyway, make of it what you will.
Here's some tidbits I noticed about the various enemies of the Kingdom Hearts series. Just thought it might be interesting to you all. Heartless Symbol: Appears to be a heart in chains/thorns. (Shape reminds me of Terra's belt buckle except with no chains) Normal colors: red and black Characteristics: Glowing eyes (light within?), violent movements, usually appear in numbers, "mindless," hold hearts captive Nobodies Symbol: Appears to be a broken heart, also upside-down. Normal color: grey (twilight?) Characteristics: Hidden/shaded eyes, graceful/flowing movements, occasionally appear alone, are capable of "thinking," supposedly without hearts The New Enemy (From BbS) Symbol: By what I can see now, it looks like a shattered heart. Or perhaps a decayed heart. Normal color: ? Characteristics: Not much is known at this point. Eyes, or at least the ones I've seen, are a deep red. I've heard they move fast, but that's just what I heard. We know they existed before Heartless and Nobodies. I could go into archetypes/symbolism with the colors, but I think I'll spare you for now. XD
Please close this thread after the problem is solved. Okay, the Terra boss fight is only available if you are playing on standard or one of the harder modes, right? 'Cause I thought I was playing on easy! I saved after the end credits and decided to load the game again to wrap up some mini games. But when it loaded, a "new event" had been added at Disney Castle. So, I land in Disney Castle, and what do I find? A BIG, FAT hole in the wall which we all know leads to the Terra Boss fight! I know hardly any Japanese, so it is likely that I picked the wrong mode. I remember choosing the top one (hows that for accuracy? ^^; ) Will someone end my confusion please before I decide to jump into that hole and get run over by Terra 10 times? XD Poor poor Sora...
The reason why I say this is because I've seen a lot of DS games come out on PS2, too. For example: the last Harry Potter game came out on both systems. I was shopping and I saw that, and I started thinking: well, wouldn't be possible for them to come out with KH 358/2 Days on DS and PS2? I still doubt it though, considering Nomura did say that KH2 Final Mix + was his last game on PS2. What do you guys think?
Sorry. Had to put the title. XD Don't get me wrong! I enjoy speculating about this new member! Whoo-HOO!! ANYWAY, I have a question: In Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, the news said that the player will be able to play as all the members of the Organization. Does that mean you'll be able to play as the 14th member? >.> <.< Me, I don't think so. But I'm just asking... :P
They say she's female, too. I'm guessing it's Aqua. Don't worry! I have reasons! Xemnas was talking to Aqua's armor in KH2 Final Mix, right? But that still doesn't prove that she was there or even still alive. However, in Final Mix Xigbar apparently eavesdrops on Xemnas and hears him talking with someone. Xigbar says he couldn't hear what they were saying exactly, but he mentioned that it must be "Xemnas' secret." Who was Xemnas talking to? And isn't Xemnas the one who introduces this new female Organization member? I've heard that some people think that it's Namine. It's a possibility, but it sounds rather odd. She just seems too innocent. Plus, she seems to dissaprove (total understatement) of the Organization's actions towards Sora and Roxas. She does say that she doesn't know whether the Organzation is good or bad, though. However, I don't think Namine met Roxas untill his imprisonment inside the Data Twilight Town. ......... What do you think?
I don't care what KH game they make or when, but at least one KH game should come out on the PS3. I bought the new PS3 game Heavenly Sword, and I am shocked at how awesome the gameplay/graphics are. It is utterly amazing how much power that consle has. As I'm playing, I can't always catch the transition between gameplay and cutscene. It's outstanding! I don't understand how some gamers hate/dislike the PS3 consle. It is an remarkable piece of gaming technology. Sure, it's expensive, but it is totally worth it. If the rumors are true, Square Enix plans to make a number of KH games. I've heard this next one will be on the PSP. But there are more after that. With the PS3, Square Enix and Nomura have the power to create an amazing game. I know I have repeated my opinion many times around this forum, but after truly experiencing the PS3, my opinion is even stronger than before. P.S. For those of you who have a PS3, Heavenly Sword is awesome! Try it out!
