Xemnas: I don't want to hear it, traitor. Axel: What, this is valuable information about the war. Xemnas: There is no such thing as valuable information, from a traitor! Axel: But sir, I only did that because no one would believe me about the tank. Demyx: Sarge, Axel has issues with his father that he displaces on you. Axel: No Demyx, that's why I punched Xemnas in the face. I left the base because I wasn't fulfilling my undying need to please other people. Xemnas: Alright, enough! Hey guys. I'm trying to write my own manga that is based on rock music and has martial arts and lots fighting and cool stuff like that. And the thing is while I do have an idea of what I want and what fans want I'm still lost on some points, so I'm basically asking for some ideas and suggestions that I might/could use or help like names or plot ideas or character ideas What I have so far: title: Blood, Steel, and Tears or BST first five main characters: three guys based on nu metal, metal, and punk with two girls based on grunge and chick rock. will elaborate more later P.S. Don't steal my stuff or else (or else what?) exactly... NOTE: I got no names for any of the characters so name suggestions would really really be cool 1. XeRo Yukishiro (formerly Roe Yukishiro) based on nu metal (Linkin Park, KoRn, SlipKnoT, Union Underground, Adema, P.O.D., Limp Bizkit) Background: As a child he was abandoned by his mother and was a victim of abuse from his father. He was usually a loner at school who kept to himself. After junior high he ran away from home believing that he had nothing to gain by staying there. It was later that he met Jude (for lack of a better name). They became close friends until Jude betrayed and humiliated him for his own personal gain. After recovering he swore payback on Jude. As time passes on he actually becomes close to the other main characters. Skills: He wields a katana. He also practices Northern Shaolin Style Kung Fu. He has a special ability called Kiai <still working on this name) in which his eyes become slitted (like a cat or a snake) and he enters a berserk state where he becomes extremely powerful for a short period of time. This is actually a defense mechanism created subconsciously after being surrounded by hate as a child. Personality: Cool, calm and collected and doesn't usually speak until spoken to (like Sasuke U.) however he can be enraged in battle. 2._______ based on punk. Background: He is from an elite high class family who pressure him all the time to conform and do what is expected of him. After leaving to the Academy of Fighting Arts, he decided to do what he wanted to do instead of letting others control him. After a year his parents found him to be total punk and disowned him, so as not to embarrass the family. He later accepts this and continues to live life the way he wants to. Skills: Is a practitioner of several hand-to-hand combat styles such as muay thai, kickboxing, tae kwon do, and Southern Praying mantis kung fu. Wears spiked bracelets and steel toe boots to make his attacks more destructive. Has the special ability called "Boom!" where he can created an explosion whenever he hits something. Personality: Loud, fun-loving, friendly, and somewhat obnoxious, he would rather smoke, eat ramen, or skateboard than work. 3._____ based on metal. Background: haven't thought of one Skills: wields a claymore. He has the "transformation" ability. He can transform himself into beast-like monster at will. Personality: Is a metalhead does everything whether it is metal or not. Brutal. 4._______ is based on grunge. Background: was abandoned by her parents as a baby and was raised in several foster families. Skills: She actually wields a zanbato (a really big sword). Haven't thought of a special ability Personality: She's sarcastic, dry-witted and usually tells others what to do without caring if they do it or not. Is kinda like Toph but not a lot. I DID NOT DRAW THIS AND IT IS NOT MINE. it's just a general idea. 5._______ based on various bands with female lead singers like Flyleaf and Evanescence and Kittie and others that i forget right now Background: She was actually the only child to a very wealth couple. However her parents were assassinated by a rival of her father's and then had her fortune stolen. She had fallen from grace. She later became an assassin in hopes of killing the man who took everything from her. Skills: She wields sais and her special ability allows her to create darkness. Personality: still working on it the overall plot: a group of friends try to stop a malevolent being from taking over the realm of angels while fighting their own personal battles. Please help :(
I'm very interested in the fighting styles of the characters in KH. However my own research and speculation only goes so far. Here are my findings so far Sora: The Keyblade is a strange weapon, but does it even have a blade? Sora's fighting style in the beginning of the game is similar to using a baseball bat as a weapon. But as the story continues, he grows to be a very accomplished swordsman (if you don't believe me check out the Sora vs. Roxas cutscene). His style consists of hacking/slashing like Cloud and some European styles, but also utilizes slicing similar to Auron and the styles used by samurai's. Sora has also excelled in a field very few swordsmen enter, aerial combat. Sora's aerial/mid-air attacks are very acrobatic (even graceful somewhat) and uses momentum in combo finishes. What I want to know is, what other kind of swords could be used for Sora's fighting style? Riku: Riku's kenjutsu (sword technique) is slightly more sophisticated than Sora's. Since the Soul Eater has a definite curve, Riku uses full swings and spins in his attacks. It seems to have a majority of slicing and slashing techniques in contrast to Sora who seems to use hacking and bashing more than slicing. I also requires more foot work than Sora's. It seems to be more offensive and doesn't have many (if any) defensive techinques. Roxas: Even though Roxas and Sora's Valor form both use two Keyblades, Roxas's Nito-ryu (two sword style) is unique and different from Sora's. It's very fast and consists of very quick strikes. In the one fight as Nito-ryu Roxas, I've deduced that Roxas's combos are repeated one-two hits (one from each Keyblade) and then finishes one solid finishing strike. His aerial/mid-air attacks are different from Sora as it is very quick hits and then finishes with a full (vertical 360) swing using both Keyblades at once. Instead of using the two-as-one philosophy of most Nito-ryu users, Roxas seems to utilize a one-then-the-other system of attacking. ...but anyways that's just me. Anything else?
Hey, what's up? I'm new here and just wanted to let you all know so...here Hi ... anyways. I like KH cause of the action, the story, the characters and the character designs...ya know? I'm also into Avatar the Last Airbender, Rurouni Kenshin, The Boondocks, Samurai Champloo, Bleach, Naruto, Shaman King...basically stuff that has to do with martial arts.
