heheheheheh......gomennasai ^_^; I've been putting this off for waaaaaay too long. I've been up to my neck in all kinds of stuff recently, but now, at what? midnight? I finally have the time to get to work, I'm gonna hate myself in the morning for working on this at bloody midnight, but hey, might as well right? So, I hope you all enjoy this, tommarow though, I'm gonna be all like, "you better enjoy this!!!!!! " But, I digress, enjoy ^^ Hating myself every second of this, DiZ Chapter 2: Jealousy Sora, after a nice hearty 3 plates of waffles, (AN: I still love waffles :D :p ) hopped into his boat and rowed out to the Islands. When he arrived, he saw Riku was already there, sitting in his usual tree. "Hey Riku!" Sora cried cheerfully from the pier. Riku simply glanced and continued to stare out upon the contently blue sea. Sora ran over from the pier, jumped into his tree and plopped down next to him. "Something wrong?" Riku shrugged, "Just thinking..." Sora shook his head and sighed, "I told you, you've been hanging out in darkness too long, you gotta start thinkin' positive." Sora smiled his pretty much trademarked smile (AN: I'm pretty sure Square Enix has the paperwork for it somewhere...:D ) Riku couldn't help but grin himself, "You're right Sora," Riku admitted. Sora grinned, then got serious, "So....what were you thinking about?" Riku shook his head, "It's nothing Sora, forget it." "Come on Riku! I wanna know!" Riku sighed, "Fine... It was about Kairi," As Riku began to explain, Kairi had just arrived to the Island, she ducked under the pier in order to overhear Riku. "Well, We both have kinda grasped the idea that Kairi like's us both yea?" Sora nodded. "Well, she has to pick one of us, and well, I was thinking about it, and she's probably gonna pick you." Sora almost jumped out of the tree, "No way Riku, you're just being modest." On the inside, Sora was practically screaming with excitement, If Riku thinks it, it's pretty much bound to happen! "No I'm being serious," Riku countered, "I mean, take some time to think about it. I turned to darkness while you stayed in the light, I gave myself up to Xehanort's Heartless, Then when she saw me, I always kept at a distance, to keep her from seeing my darkness. You were always on the side of light, she gave you her Thalassa Shell Lucky Charm, and you and her hit it off right after you first came to Hallow Bastion, you're pretty much bound to win her over." Sora sat in scilence as he took all of what his best friend said in. Kairi slowly crept away from the two and snuck into the Secret Place. She sat down under the picture of her and Sora giving each other Paopu Fruits and buried her head into her hands. This was becoming more and more complicated by the minute. Everything Riku said was true, but his darkness also made him so mysterious. Sure Sora was the Keyblade Master of the Light, and sure Sora kept true to his word about the lucky charm and coming back to her. She just didn't know who to pick. They were both great guys, it just made everything that much harder. Sora had taken his boat home to reflect on what Riku had said, well that's what he said anyway. Riku stayed in his tree, watching the tranquil blue waves lightly splash upon the shore. Why can't life be that easy? Riku thought. just splashing upon the shore, then leaving. It just repeats, nothing hurts, nothing changes, nothing confuses you, you just stay blue and do as life intended you for. He stared into his right hand, (AN: I think that's his sword hand, never could tell >_<) The hand that, under the influence of darkness, wrecked so many lives, killed so many, and destroyed so much. So why must I hurt? Why must I be confused? He sighed, Why Can't Kairi like me? She Can, A voice echoed out. Riku jumped up, his Souleater sprang into his hand, "Who said that? Where are you? Who are you?" He asked, halve controlled by hate, halve by fear. Merely one who walks the same path you do. It rang out again, One who walks the Road to the Dawn "What do you want?" Riku yelled, nearly blinded by fury that someone, or something was toying with him. You are Scared, One Can't be sure of what one is facing if one is blinded by fear. The voice chuckled, You Turned yourself to darkness, all in pursuit of escape, you escaped, and returned to your prison. So, what ambitions do you have now? hopes for Affection, for Friendship? For Love? Riku Growled, he could feel rage building up all in him. If one cannot have a ambition, a goal, if you will, then what is the point of existance? you have no point, no answer to questions if you have no leads to follow, no hope to obtain anything if you have no set destination. You have no chance of ever winning over Kairi... "Shut up!" Riku screamed. The voice chuckled, You may fear it, and refuse to believe it, but darkness still resides in your heart. You will hear from me again. A slight silouette of a figure appeared before Riku. In his rage swang his Souleater at the silouette, accomplishing nothing. He sighed as the Souleater disappeared from his hand. just who does that guy think he is!?!? Riku thought angerly, better question residing, who WAS that guy? Do you have a guess? betcha you don't!!! or do you??? ahh well, I'm done, and extremely tired.....*yawn* just use the poll, comment, and enjoy... I'm sleepy... DiZ
It's Time I Reclaim my title as a Author! It's been about 3 years since I wrote a fanfic, and I say it's time I finally wrote another. So, now it's time for the usual intro, This is my first fanfic in 3 years so please, give me the straight facts, no being easy on me, I want true to heart feedback, Good and Bad right down to the bare bone. Disclaimer: I don't own Kingdom Hearts, Sora, Kairi, Riku, or ANYBODY, ANYTHING, or ANYPLACE from the Kingdom Hearts Universe. I Own the plot, and any charecter I make up. So no Sueing action, no flaming, and no "You suck, stop writing" Tell me what I'm doing wron please Arigato ^_^ DiZ Chapter 1: Return ~Sora's Morning~ Sora woke up that morning with a humongus yawn. It's so odd...being home, with no danger....and no Donald or Goofy waking me up with their usual nonsense. Sora chuckled, thinking about all the good and fun times they had on their quest. He jumped outa bed, looked in the mirror, and decided to leave his scraggly brown, pointy haired bedhead alone. He threw on his clothes that the 3 Fairy Godmothers gave him. He thought about all that had happened what Yen Sid had said. The Heartless and Nobodies were still around sure, they always will be, but as long as he was with Riku and Kairi, none of it really mattered to him. His next quest, he grinned, was to get his feelings across to Kairi, and maybe a kiss. Sora sighed happily at the thought of him and Kairi kissing. "Sora!" His mother called, "Breakfast is ready! Come on down my little hero!" Sora woke up from his little day-dream and rushed down the stairs to the inviting smell of waffles. (AN: yummy...I like waffles:p :D ) ~Riku's Morning~ Riku sat in his bed with a grimace. He had been up all night with the thought of darkness resting in his brain. So much had happened in so little time, He had opened the door to darkness, sided with Maleficent, Fought his best friend, Sided with the Heartless, Let Ansem take over him, Made Friends with the King of Disney Castle Got Trapped in the Realm of Darkness, Fought Members of the Orginazation, Captured Roxas for DiZ, Turned into Ansem, Turned back into himself, and Finally helped Sora defeat Xemnas. All that in 2 years (AN: I honestly don't know if that's correct....so don't blame me) He did a lot of bad, and a lot of good, turned from Darkness to Light, So what did that make him? Did it make him the like the Nobodies? Stuck in Twilight? He scratched his head confused. So many questions, so very little answeres...He looked at his Clock, 8:00 AM. He threw on his jacket over his shirt and walked outside to the Beach. ~Kairi's Morning~ Kairi was a slow riser and woke up promptly at 8:00 AM. she rubbed the sleep out her eyes and smiled. Everyone was home at last, Sora and Riku were finally back at Destiny Islands with her. Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie were happy to see them back, but no more happy then Kairi. She was glad the two men of her dreams finally made it home, now comes the most difficult part, picking between the two of them. (AN: I know, I know, this is in most fan-fics, but it's a commen base, not my fault now is it ;)?) She Thought long and hard about their positive's and negative's. Sora was a righteous hero of the light, very laid-back, funny, and was always there for her, and when he wasn't, was searching for her. Riku was a mix of light and dark, making him very intruiging, was also looking for her when she lost her heart, was very stern and always stayed focus, and very deep. She liked them both almost equally, it made it THAT much harder to choose. She threw on her school clothes, grabbed her suitcase, and headed off. Just because she helped bring the two best friends who saved the world together doesn't mean she doesn't have to go to school of course. ~Somewhere Off~ "Is it time yet?" "No Din, not yet, but the Orginazation will rise again, we just need to turn the Keyblade masters against each other." "How will we do that?"
