The captain cast a sideways glance at her. "A chart of course. It shows the routes every boat in the area will take in the next week or so. I was searching if one would be so lucky to draw near enough to see us."
ooc:I have to go to a play my brother is putting on. Bye.
The captain nodded thoughtfully, scratching his chin. "True. There is a greatness in the boy, but he doesn't seem to have his landlegs quite yet. Can't take a fish out of water and tell it to walk, I always say. Now Clarisse, since you do know the way, I will be up in front of the group with you. Mr. Cruise and the rest of the crew will be positioned around the group, help stragglers if necessary. Whenever you are ready."
"Gharanth..." She wanted to say more but her head felt light. It was a nice feeling though and she wove her hands into Gharanth's, tilting her head back to look at him. The temple didn't exist anymore. It was just her and him in a world where only the two of them existed.
The captain looked up at them, rolling up a paper he'd been leaning over. He stood tall as he approached Clarisse. "Quite a discovery, Mademoiselle."
Twilight felt a feeling of comfort waft into her heart and her knees felt weak. She stood in Gharanth's arms for a moment, drowning in his love for her. He was perfect in so many ways. She felt unworthy in such a presence.
ooc Matt and Clarisse have found a place to find water and are back at camp I think. Matt pushed through the edge of trees to see the sun that had been mostly hidden in the forest up in the sky. He guessed it was about noon but couldn't be sure.
Gharanth's new strength boosted Twilight's courage. It broke through the dark cloud that had been wafting overhead since they had entered the temple. For the first time since then, she felt safe...
Dawn was walking around, looking for something to do.
Twilight stood with Gharanth. "Just a little farther...a little more..." She looked at the shattered mirror. Anything was better than this nightmare.
Twilight knelt down with him, wrapping her arms tight around him and not letting go. "We're almost there, my love. Almost..." She forced the picture of the allusion out of her head. He was more important than anything had ever been to her.
Twilight clentched her teeth tightly, tears blurring her vision. "It's not real....it's not real..." She turned her eyes back towards the mirror to try to face it and saw the bloody lips of Gharanth opening his mouth, saying her name in his voice. That sweet voice. She shook her head. 'Not real...' "You can't scare me!" She yelled, voice cracking. "You aren't real! It's not happening!" The mirror shattered to a million peices.
ooc: sorry. Be back in a bit.
Twilight swallowed hard, trembling as she walked up to the mirror and looked into it. It was normal at first. She could see herself and behind her was Gharanth, watching her. He stood, strong and brave one moment, then his face sunk in and his eyes faded, blood covering his torso as the allusion opened it's mouth in a silent cry of pain. Tears filled Twilight's eyes and she tightened her hands into fists, screaming at the allusion. "Gharanth!"
Twilight shivered. Her darkest fear. She wondered what that would look like. Perhaps a dead version of Gharanth. Yes, that was definatly something to fear. Gharanth...dead... She wouldn't be able to take that.
"Anyways...Did you here that Bones is throwing a party?"
Dawn laughed. "You took the words right out of my mouth."
"Mental...good...I don't think i could deal with more snakes at the moment."
"But this is real life... and we all know that in reality. Math comes before music."
"Rich? Yeah...youre rich. Pampered? Not quite..." He pushed a branch aside. "And you do have a rough job, I must say so myself."
