I'm confused...does Swap Magic Coder only work on burned games? If I put in Swap Magic and then an official copy of KH2 will it not work?
You don't need a special slim. The slide tool is too dangerous, and replacing the flip top is a bit too complex and dangerous. Get Magic Switch Pro, open the case up, put the black cap on the spin-disk-button, superglue the other in the bottom-left corner of your drive (Otherwise it won't stay), and jam the last one in the upper-right in your drive.
Ok, downloaded omniconvert and converted some of these codes from Action Replay MAX to Raw. http://us.codejunkies.com/search/co...istence_Action-Replay-MAX_13633797-13___.aspx These are the codes I need (converted): (M) 90852B48 01E0F809 90177114 0C05DD54 Must Be On For Item Codes E0040000 10263F10 60263F10 00000000 00001B87 00000803 60263F10 00000000 00001B86 0000FFC0 200FFF00 3C010010 200FFF04 8424FC02 200FFF08 10040008 200FFF10 240F0038 200FFF14 008F7818 200FFF18 01EE7821 200FFF1C 8424FC00 200FFF20 A5E40170 200FFF24 A5E40172 200FFF2C 24210004 200FFF30 3C040010 200FFF34 24840200 200FFF38 1424FFF2 200FFF40 03E00008 EZ Gun 200FFC18 00070001 I put these in...and the game freezes. I'm using SwapMagic coder btw, and I double checked at least 3 times YES ALL OF THESE CODES ARE PUT IN CORRECTLY. I start up the game with SwapMagic and just get a black screen. Can someone test this for me? PLEASE?
I can't see a Days remake. Chain of Memories got remade because it was in 2D and tied directly to a console title, leaving many confused. Coded got remade because it's part of the KH canon and yet it was only on cell phones, and largely 2D in a 3D environment. How are you going to remake Days's graphics? It's already in 3D. The only thing you can do to it is make it higher quality, like a port to 3DS. But that would be more of a Final Mix, which I can definitely see since every KH title has had an enhanced re-release except that one.
I know it was supposed to be comedy. It just wasn't funny. It came off as you editing it to satisfy your yaoi fantasies, then not wanting anyone to think you were gay so you say "Oh it's a parody". If you hadn't tried so hard to make it so realistic, like if Square Enix actually did that, it might have been funny, if it were something like "KH2 Abridged". A good editing job like that only works if you're doing something more serious, like a fandub, otherwise it's pretty jarring.
Is there at least a code for all Theater movies unlocked? It wouldn't feel right watching the secret ending online...
I mean yeah, there's no plot, and the production value's not that great, but it's still pretty fun. I actually had more fun with this than 358/2 Days.
Is there a code for all trophies?
Ok, so I downloaded the latest March 26, 2011 cheat database from GBAtemp, I look in the game list and it lists Re:coded. Ok, so I open up the cheats for it and...nothing. 358/2 Days cheats show up, and EVERY OTHER DS game I have has cheats showing up, but not Re:coded. Then I opened the damn thing in r4cce, and there ARE cheats for it, but for some ******ed reason they just don't show when the game is up. The rom's not bad either and runs fine, and the database is for all versions and I have the US version. Can anyone PLEASE confirm this or help? EDIT: Fixed it...turns out you have to put the update AS WELL AS the .dat file in there...
That was pretty bad. Very bad, actually. The voices and editing were good, but they were out of character, and pretty much all the dialogue either didn't fit or was unnecessary.
No, I mean it doesn't do anything. I checked.
That's for bottle items, not weapons or magic...
No conceivable idea why, but Reflega is gone. My magic menu only has all the others but no reflega. It was right there when I saved last time and now it's gone. Is there a code for all magic? And a code for having Save The King+?
Luxord. His weapon was unique and he was the least "Japanese-y" of them all, also "I'd rather we just skip the formalities" Just awesome. Everyone says Roxas and Axel because they're teenage girls and ship yaoi of them or something.
I loved Space Paranoids. The voice acting was great, especially Tron, his limit was awesome (RUNNING EXECUTABLE!), it advanced the plot instead of just being a pointless re-enactment of the movie, the MCP was a unique and interesting boss, both the Field and Battle theme were catchy, and I'm a big fan of cyberpunk visuals. Least favorite is definitely Pride Lands. Simba's VA is terrible, worse than the guy who did Jack Sparrow, and every time there was a joke with Timone and Pumba, it just didn't work and was a godawful moment, and yet EVERYONE ON-SCREEN LAUGHS. And the 2nd visit at the ending with Rafiki was just awkward. A close second is Atlantica, but I actually liked Ursula's Revenge. It actually sounded like a song out of the movie and was well composed.
Yeah but that's a ridiculous amount of codes to input...
Is there anything for All Items? Not ALL of them, but like, can I have all and infinite Moogle materials?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNvTWohCFjI Saw this on TV, and instantly knew that I wanted it. Music got me pumped, even as girly as it was, and all the colorful images popping up everywhere timed to the music so well that it was just great. Not to mention, EVERYONE at school was talking about it. It was THE game of 2002.
If another Final Mix comes out, and someone decides to translate it, don't just dump it into Google Translate and paste it into a patch. Stop coming out with overly literal translations of scenes. Fix it so it sounds like something you'd hear in the English release. I know Xeeynamo's native language isn't English (Or at least I hope so, no offense to the guy), but every awkward line spoken in the exclusive cutscenes makes me cringe, because it never sounds like something Axel or whoever would actually say. There's a need to preserve accuracy, but there are ways to do that without making the lines verbose and awkward. Compare this to the Xeeynamo translation: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/935702-kingdom-hearts-ii-final-mix-/faqs/50361 Much better, but it could still use work. For example: Before: Spoiler People with the blade of keys started to appear and they fought great battles After: Spoiler Keyblade warriors started popping up, always at war. I'm sure I probably went wrong somewhere, but based on Xigbar's personality in the English version, I think he would say something more like that. If you compared fantranslations of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI to the original SQUARESOFT USA translations, they would be a lot different and the fantranslation would overall be more accurate to the original text. But the SQUARESOFT USA translations would still be better, because they make the characters more appealing and feeling more natural to Western audiences. Translations of fiction need to be accurate, but they also have to immerse whoever's reading them. This is why official translations are sometimes different to the original, and it has nothing to do with censorship or making it understandable for kids. Anyway, just a rant.
I heard that early concepts had Castle Oblivion actually be a renamed Castle of Illusion that the Organization took over, making the Genesis game canon, but because of issues with Sega it got scrapped...could this be true? There have been lots of "Castle Something"'s in Mickey games.
