    Name: Kori Tokana.
    Age: 13.
    Gender: Female.

Kekkei Genkai: Tokana Sight - This rare genetic trait in the Tokana gene allows Kori to dispel any Jutsu using light to cast. As well as this, she can see Spirits and Ghosts, and bend them to her will in the form of Spirit Lights. The Tokana Sight shows itself in a strange, swirling blue pattern in the right eye, which surrounds the iris in the white of the eye.

    Clan: Tokana.
    Village: Hidden in The Glacier.

Appearance: Kori may appear petite and girlish, but her appearance belies her strength. She stands at 5'4". Long, raven black hair flows down her back like silk, reaching to her waist. She ties this up in a ponytail, with a white band, to keep it from getting in the way. Her appearance is that of the Far East, with almond-shaped eyes, a chilling ice-blue in colour, a small, puting mouth and a slighlt pudgy nose. Agile on her small feet, she's capable of moving quite fast, and has a gymnasts body, with a thin waist and shoulders. Kori doesn't appear muscled, but from all her training, she certainly is powerful. Kori likes to be stylish, but at the same time, she needs something that allows her to move well. Her clothing does this well. The surcoat she wears has been tailored for her alone. It is a navy blue in colour, and reaches to just above her waist. The sleeves are well padded, with brown hems turned up to her wrists on the arms. Below this, she wears a simple white cotton tunic, which hangs to the middle of her upper-leg, and is tied at the waist with a beautiful blue-silk ribbon belt. On her arms, Kori wears elbow gloves in the same colour as her surcoat. They are fingerless, and have a gold pattern sewn into the hems. For trousers, Kori dons slight baggy blue flax trousers. They are made of flax, a more elastic cotton, so they don't rip or tear when they are stretched. The outfit is completed with a pair of black leather buckle-boots.
Personality: Kori is extraordinarily likeable and warm. She's fast-thinking, and is always the first to be in with a clever phrase or quip. She's rarely seen without a smile on her face, and she seems to have an infectious light-heartedness. She's optimistic about everything, and likes to think everyone in the world is good, somewhere in their souls. Kori is beautiful, and boy, does she know it. She enjoys embarassing other people, whether it's through flirting outrageously with them, saying something funny, or playing a practical joke. However, through al the smiles and laughter, Kori's an intelligent girl. She's good with problems, and is a great Agony Aunt. However, like everyone else, she has her faults. Sometimes, her smart-mouth gets her into trouble, or loses her friends. Kori is also quite sensitive. She can dish it out heavily, but when it gets right down to it, she can't take it. Stubborn to the extreme, she'll fight tooth and nail to prove she's right. Despite all this, however, Kori is loyal to her friends, and will stick with them no matter what.

History:Born as the only girl for four generations into the Tokana family, Kori was the youngest child of her parents, with five older brothers above her. Her father was the leader of the Clan, advised by his father and mother. His wife was a woman of extreme beauty, who had always yearned for a daughter to follow on in the tradition of great cookery on her side of the family.
They lived in the Tokana Temple, the dojo where all the students in Tokana history trained and joined the clan. However, one night, a mysterious fire in the dojo formed. The Tokana were always Ice magicians, but this fire was magical. Not even her grandfather was able to put it out. Kori's father, mother, brothers and grandmother died in the fire. Her grandfather managed to escape, and blamed himself for not being able to shield his family. Kori escaped through a hole in the wall. Only she was big enough to fit.
Many of the students were also killed, and there is a shrine to their memory in the grounds of the new Temple. Kori is now the sole heir to the Tokana legacy, and was tutored by her grandfather from the first day after the fire. She was adept at sword-fighting and Jutsu, excelling her peers easily, but was a true master at stealth. Kori joined the Academy, with some intense persuasion from her grandfather, who hoped she would be able to learn more of the outside world from her peers at the school.

Other: Weapon: The family blade has been passed from generation to generation over nine hundred years. It's a smithing perfection. The blade length is exactly two and a half feet long, and the handle adds an extra half foot. The diorite blade is sharpened to a razor, and the usually matt-black rock shines as if it were glass. The blade itself is one-edged. The hilt of this katana is a simple silver crosspiece, unadorned. The handle is more decorated, wrapped in a fine blue wire. A pommel-stone of sapphire is encased in an iron ringlet, and from the small section between the handle and the stone, a navy blue tassel hangs.
