didn't we have a giant thread on beating this guy already? *checks* hmm. We did in May. I guess i can't blame someone for not wanting to check 5 pages back. Anyway, tons of discussion here: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=74866
Keep Aero up. Glide around during his dashing move where he becomes immune to damage. Use guard alot to break him out of combos. I used Metal Chocobo, personally. Long reach helps.
move diagonally right until you're parrallel with Xemnas II and then b-line it to him and Sora. Moving this way makes it tough for the clone to do anything relevant, since his barriers always face between you and Xemnas. If you start by sorta heading away from that, you'll get pretty close pretty quick. Dark Aura can fend him off, but I hate how Riku controls. He's so... clumsy. Not as free moving as Sora.
I've said this a thousand times in forums like this. YES you do need Five drive bars. Even randomness has a cost, which for final form, is five drive bars. I know this because my sister struggled with final form for a long time. All she did was raise her drive bar back up to three and shift into valor. She'd get anti alot, but never final. I tell her final cost five drive bars, she does what I say and raises her drive bars up to five and the next form change, after picking valor, she gets final. It's also important to note that final doesn't appear outside of battle (something my sister also never thought about and we troubleshooted with this alot until we got it). You have to get into a fight and try to shift forms. Boss battles are really helpful (sadly, after you beat Siax and Xemnas I, the only boss you can fight is the final boss and, again, my sister complained that when she'd fight Xemnas II, she'd always seem to get final when she fought the first throne Xemnas. Since you can't save after that point, Final doesn't go into the drive menu). Allegedly the best way to abuse this is to join certain tournaments over and over again, shifting to valor/wisdom/master and then restarting the tournament. Also, Two Across (Roxas' keyblade with the Light and Darkness ability in FM+) only allows you to shift into anti or final form. If playing final mix, you should go ahead and equip that keyblade through TWTNW, keeping the other rules in mind: 1) Be in a battle; preferably a boss fight 2) Have five drive bars Two Across has no useful effect after you obtain final form.
I would guess those are Rabbit House-ish on the chest 'time line'. Check the garden and behind his laundry.
The first three "O" are pretty easy, right? It's the last one that's tough. Neat trick that usually works for me: Aim to get an "X". The counter moves so fast that you actually might hit an "O" on "accident." That's what I did, anyway. Besides from that, so long as you kick Luxord's ass right up to his Desperation Move ("The Game") you should have enough time to play twice. No matter when the game is completed, Luxord ALWAYS ends with next to nothing in Time remaining. The best way to avoid losing time, BTW, is to cast Thunder on him from a distance over and over again. This should let you avoid his attacks and get him to Desperation Move quicker. He has no real long range attack, so use your own and keep your distance.
the revisit the worlds line is a just a random reminder about how you have new trinities that might prove useful in earlier worlds. Not to mention new tournaments and any keyholes if you never sealed them (Like at Traverse Town?). Go ahead and finish Halloween Town.
wouldn't surprise me. Complete all mission and win on proud mode? Haven't seen or heard anything. Maybe that's why it's gonna take so long to localize this game! Just like with KH, they're gonna go back and add some stuff for the US/EU release! (of course, if they do that, they'll probably be fair to Japanese gamers and release a 'final mix' where suddenly the US misses out on something again... lol) We can dream, can't we?
they're only in Japanese.
does anyone have scans? I was at Barnes and Noble today and the receptionist/help lady said that it had a number and everything with the intended release in December. But, since they don't have/never had it, she assumed that someone dropped the ball over on the publisher's side. I have yet to see any proof that it exists in English. I've heard that Tokyopop dropped the KH project, too (heard it sometime ago, that's why my interest is suddenly sparked with this thread telling me it actually might be out there).
halo person?
well, the fandub group is working on dubbing them. But, yeah, I've been kinda curious for some subs, too. I found a few of them earlier, but none going past cutscene 2. Guess we'll just have to wait for more people to finish subbing it. Though if anyone finds them, post a link ASAP!! : ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Skhk4yPMas&feature=related Here's one. Not all of them are subbed, though...
Does anyone have scans of vol. 3?
You mean you are entering the url of an image you found on Google? There's a chance that whatever image you want is not a jpeg (might be a bitmap or png) which is less supportive with the url thing. Your best bet with avys and sigs is to copy the file and save it as a jpeg on your computer. Then reupload it by browsing for it. If you still wanna try the url thing, be sure to right click the image at its source (blank page save for the image) and check it's properties for it's EXACT url. Copy that into the box.
Watch DChiuch's vids. Just be careful to avoid picking the wrong vid and spoiling yourself! http://www.youtube.com/user/DChiuch
The same as KHII? All the Orichamcums and a handful of the twilight/dense items, I believe.
0s at the front/back of your deck for easy access. Whatever you do, don't let him using any slights. Either beat his with one of your own (I never used any slights personally) or throw a 0 when you think he's got it all set up. I got lucky in the PS2 version and pulled a pack of Oathkeepers while in Destiny Island: Two 0s, a 7 and two 8s. That of course made it SO easy since they do some much damage. Try to put Wishing Lamps in everything cards so that when you use a combo it has a good chance of being the last hit (where as a finisher it does more damage). All in all, though, the best advice I have it keeping at least 4 or 5 0s handy. He's sleight crazy as Riku 4. Plus, he's crazy fast. Be sure once you win to back track and save. You get another boss battle right after.
We still no nothing on Coded coming to US, correct?
The Nobodies/Heartless in the Cave of Rememberance also drop lots of exp. You can try there, too, if you don't mind potentially getting killed a few times by those guys.
from what I understand, Tokyopop decided to stop translating KHII due to the 2008 restructuring they did.
